Wimbledon star Novak Djokovic’s wife and staggering net worth amid ‘retirement’ talk

Unsurprisingly, the Wimbledon quarter-finalist is regarded as one of the greatest tennis players of all time and has incredible bank balance to match his incredible accomplishments.

Novak Djokovic is no stranger to Wimbledon’s Centre Court, winning the tournament seven times and now he’s taking on Italian and 22nd seed Flavio Cobolli in the quarter finals as he attempts to lift the famous trophy once more.

On Monday, BBC tennis commentator John McEnroe jokingly suggested the legend could “retire on the spot” if he played another set as badly as his opening one against Alex de Minaur in the fourth round, which he lost 6-1.

However, the Serbian stormed the game and previously stated that he believes he could win more Grand Slam titles in 2028, which might be his last year of eligibility.

Novak is already regarded as one of the greatest tennis players of all time, regardless of whether he wins the Wimbledon title this year or not.

His net worth is staggering, making him one of only three men to win a career Golden Slam, which includes winning four global Grand Slams and the Olympic gold medal…

The 38-year-old tennis player, who is married to Jelena Djokovic and has two children, Stefan and Tara, has won a whopping £138 million in prize money for singles and doubles competitions around the world during his career.

He has won 40 ATP 1000 titles, including the first two Grand Slam victories, and he is the only player to have won all ATP 1000 tennis tournaments twice to claim the career golden masters.

Novak’s net worth, however, is much higher, at £193 million. This includes significant brand acquisitions, including Sergio Tacchini’s ten-year sponsorship deal, which the player held until 2009.

He signed a five-year brand ambassador contract with Uniqlo in 2012, which was reportedly worth just under £7 million per year, and he ended his contract with Uniqlo in favor of Lacoste.

Mercedes-Benz and Seiko are also included in the list of famous brands associated with Djokovic. He generated an incredible £40 million in sponsorships alone between June 2018 and June 2019.

The founder, who once owned a vegan restaurant in Monte Carlo, Monaco, and developed a line of nutritious food items, is a foodie enthusiast.

And the Serb’s family is represented by his hospitality-focused family-run business Family Sport, which also deals with events, sportswear, and real estate.

‘I’m a shopping writer and this is the streak-free fake tan I’m stocking up on this Prime Day’

As a shopping writer I’ve tried out a lot of fake tans, but this Isle of Paradise one is so good I’m stocking up on multiple while it’s in the Prime Day sale

Left is before using Isle of Paradise Express Mousse, right is after(Image: Grace Salmon)

As a naturally pale girl achieving a natural tan can be quite the challenge. It requires hours of sunbathing and given the UK’s notorious lack of sunshine, coupled with the risk of skin damage, it’s just not worth the hassle for me. However, I still like to have that ‘ I just got back from holiday glow’, and after having tried many different fake tans over the years, I always come back to one.

The tan in question is the Isle of Paradise Express Self-Tanning Mousse. And as Amazon Prime Day (s) has officially kicked off, I’m taking it as my opportunity to stock up for the rest of year.

Originally priced at £21.95, this mousse is now 35% off, bringing its price down to a slightly more wallet-friendly £14.49. It’s not very often I spot this particular fake tan on offer on Amazon, so I’m very happy to see it in the sale.

I’m not much of a planner, often leaving important details, like fake tanning for an event, to the last minute so an express tan is a must-have for me, and I think this one is the best.

I do have other favourites such as St Tropez’s Express Bronzing Mousse , currently £25.50 at LookFantastic, and Loving Tan’s 2HR Express Mousse, priced at £36.95. However Isle of Paradise’s comes out on top for me.

Developing in as little as 30 minutes, this tan is ideal if you’re short on time but still want that holiday glow. The formula dries almost instantly, so there’s no sticky and awkward waiting-around moment or stained clothes. It’s also packed full of hydrating hyaluronic acid and brightening vitamin C so it leaves the skin feeling soft and nourished.

On top of that, it uses clever colour-correcting tech to avoid any dreaded tangerine tones, resulting in a natural-looking and streak-free tan that will have your friends asking if you’ve just got back from a tropical holiday. The only issue I sometimes find with this tanner is that the pump can become faulty, resulting in the product coming out too liquidy rather than as a mousse.

Love Island Casa Amor bombshell Emma Munro is ‘standing on business’ as she faces ex Harry

Relationship expert Hope Flynn gives exclusive insight as to why Love Island viewers are demanding Casa Amor’s Emma Munro be brought to the main villa and the new generation of assertive reality TV women

Love Island’s Casa Amor Emma Munro has been labelled ‘a girls girl’ and a main villa must-have(Image: ITV/Shutterstock)

Love Island’s Casa Amor has finally arrived and the general consensus is that viewers love the Casa girls. But no matter which villa you’re loyal to at the moment, newcomer Emma Munro is set to be a fan favourite.

Unfortunately pitted against one another in a Harry Cooksley love triangle, day-one contestants Shakira Khan and Helena Ford appear to have both suffered the lies of their shared love interest – who has just been exposed on ITV by his long-term ex, Emma.

After stating Harry did not deserve villa favourite Shakira, Emma laid down the law. She immediately vocalised her distaste for name-calling, telling Harry to “drop the act” after he called her a “little freak”. Going further to comment: “And the way you’ve been moving with Helena, honestly, you two deserve each other. You’re a great couple”, before adding they had been acting like “two snakes”.

Emma was upfront about her feelings, telling Harry he was “embarrassing himself” on TV with his hideaway mischief and asked the straight forward question: whether he was “fed up” with himself already.

Emma has been praised by the Love Island audience and Love Island: Aftersun panellists for her candid nature and no-nonsense approach to her ex, calling out Harry’s misdemeanours immediately and speaking up for his previous TV partner Shakira.

Emma remained calm and collected as she humbled Harry, rebutted his ‘bad boy’ act and reminded him of the reason they split – him cheating with other women in their shared home.

Hope Flynn, a relationship expert and Founder of So What? Community, spoke to the Mirror on the morphing attitudes of Reality TV women. She said: “I’ve really noticed the shift in how women are showing up on reality TV lately – there’s a whole new energy.

” Women are confidently setting boundaries, communicating their needs and walking away from anything that doesn’t align with their values. They’re standing on business and it’s brilliant and inspiring to see”.

” This isn’t just about drama or strong personalities anymore. It reflects a wider cultural change, especially among Millennials and Gen Z. I think millennials helped open up conversations around therapy, emotional wellbeing and self worth and now Gen Z has taken that a step further, “Hope added.

Interestingly, around half of the main villa’s patrons are aged 24 or younger, signifying a return of younger contestants to Mallorca’s shores. “Gen Z are direct, emotionally aware and not afraid to call things out as they happen!” says Hope, which can be especially seen in Shakira, 22, and Harry’s, 30, dynamic, compared to Harry and Helena.

The relationship expert added:” What’s so refreshing to see, is less of the people pleasing or ‘ pick me ‘ behaviour that was once quite common on these shows. Now instead there’s a real sense of clarity – this is what I want and this is what I won’t tolerate! That kind of knowledge of self worth is powerful and it’s healthy to see”.

The founder concluded by stating:” When people are clear about their boundaries and confident in their worth, they’re more likely to form genuine, respectful connections. It raises the bar not just for the people on screen but for the viewers at home too!! “

They go on to say: “I have used it religiously every single day for a month and a half. I wish I had taken before pictures, so afters won’t be of any use… but it has made a marked difference. This shopper compares this gadget’s prowess to professional facials, raving: “Another added: “I’ve spent around £2,000 on face treatments over the course of a few years. They add: “I use it twice a day for 4 minutes at a time, I never miss using it. It has defined my neck chin and cheekbones. I don’t use the serum YET as my skincare routine is extensive and I’m not sure how to incorporate the FOREO serum into it yet. It’s WELL worth the investment and you will save yourself a lot of money if you use this device from a young age (25+). An investment 100% worth it. “
