Celebrity Traitors’ Paloma Faith hints Alan Carr feud has spilled over into friendship

After Paloma Faith was the first to be murdered on The Traitors, she expressed her annoyance at friend Alan Carr’s ‘betrayal’ and fans are trying to work out if it’s all for real

Annoyed Paloma Faith has dropped a number of big hints that her feud with Alan Carr is for real.

Last night Celebrity Traitors viewers saw the lid come down on the singer’s coffin after her pal and comedian Alan carried out the murder in plain sight. They watched Alan commit the murder by brushing some hair from his friend’s cheek during a chat in the kitchen.

He went for Paloma in the poison pollen plot after she’d told him cosily: “I definitely trust you.” But after the killing, Alan admitted: “I feel awful. I didn’t know what else to do! I’ve gone and murdered one of my best friends.” Paloma had a number of pops at him on spin off show Uncloaked.

But she’s not in the mood to laugh off his “betrayal” – and fans have been quick to spot some huge clues that it has spilled over into real life. She shared an Instagram story of her simply saying “f**k” – and tagged Alan in it.

It didn’t stop there. During her exit interview, she name-checked another of her co-stars, but left out Chattyman Alan. Talking about the task, she explained: “I liked feeling how physically competent I was with the Trojan horse.

“That was such a thrilling group achievement and hard work.

“Also, meeting people I’d never crossed paths with before. Celia is just an absolute dream. And I love, love Niko. He’s amazing,” she said. “It was so nice to meet Cat as well. Ruth Codd was one of the funniest, most brilliant people I’ve met in a long time!”

But the latest dig game after devastated Paloma posted another snap, seen sitting by the grave she was buried in. She captioned it: “Honestly. GUTTED. No words.” One fan asked the singing star: “I thought @chattyman was your friend,” as she bluntly responded: “So did I.”

Paloma sat down with Ed Gamble on Uncloaked and she quickly dismissed Traitor Alan’s theory that he was left with no choice but to kill her. She said: “I still maintain this day that if the shoe was on the other foot, I wouldn’t have done that, so I don’t think he should have done it to me and I’m surprised that he did. He had a choice, and it was not very nice. “

But showing no sign of it doing lasting damage, she told Ed: “But he is extremely loveable and I’ve spoken to him since, and I do find forgiveness quite an easy thing, just as a person. So, I love him.” However, she went on to say she feels “even more betrayed now” after having time digest her murder.

Alan, 49, also told the cameras that carrying out the murder had challenged him: “It was a stretch for my acting ability – I don’t know how Meryl Streep does it.” But when Alan spoke of his guilt to fellow Traitors Jonathan Ross and Cat Burns, he was told to “toughen up” after claiming that killing her off “broke my heart”.

Jonathan insisted: “You’re not a bad person – you’re a good Traitor. I don’t want to hear any more of this broken heart nonsense. We’ve got to start enjoying this.”

Earlier in the show, there was confusion when all 19 of the group arrived for breakfast. Not realising she was a dead woman walking because of the slow-working poison, Paloma said she felt “happy and relieved” adding: “I thought thank goodness not to be the first one dead.”

And even after Claudia revealed that the Traitors had murdered in plain sight, she had no idea she was the victim, saying: “I had so few interactions yesterday that I don’t feel that I was got.”

During the mission, the group had to try and work out who had actually been murdered. When Paloma found herself lying in a coffin alongside comic Lucy Beaumont and online prankster Niko Omilana, she told the group: “I think it’s me.” Afterwards, Stephen Fry sighed sadly: “Oh Paloma, you were right.”

The BBC1 series kicked off with a huge audience of 6.1million and continues next Wednesday, with the result of the first banishment revealed.

Traitors bosses look to cash in on show’s success with unusual business move

Brains behind the hit BBC show eye up opportunities as they trademark a range of goods

Telly fans could get the chance to sniff out a Traitor with plans to launch an aftershave and perfume based on the show in the works. The Dutch firm behind the hit BBC One show has been granted a trademark to sell a range of goods using the name and the programme’s logo.

They’re hoping Eau de Traitor could bring them the sweet smell of success as they cash in on the much-loved game of skulduggery. As well as dabbing on the scent of treachery, the knives could be out as bosses want to flog kitchen utensils and cutlery too.

It comes as The Traitors launched it’s first UK celebrity series this week. On the back for three civilian series, Claudia WInkleman returns to hosting and is joined by famous faces including singer Charlotte Church, comedian Lucy Beaumont and EastEnders actress Tameka Empson. They have been separated into Faithfuls and Traitors in the murder mystery game for charity.

Papers lodged with the UK’s Intellectual Property Office by Amsterdam-based IDTV Film & Video Productions show the firm wants to sell a range of goods like to the hit series.

They state: “Cosmetics and toiletry preparations; beauty care cosmetics; body cleaning and beauty care preparations; cleaning sprays; cleaning fluids; washing liquids; soaps and gels; scented soaps; fragrances; perfumes; aftershave; cologne.”

Documents also cover food and drinks, clothes, games, and even Christmas tree lights. The trademark has been passed and will stay in place for 10 years.

The Traitors format has been a huge hit around the world, including the UK. Here, we’ve had three civilian series and the first celebrity version is on screens now. It kicked off with a huge audience of 6.1million on Wednesday, with singer Paloma Faith the first to leave the Scottish castle.

Alan Carr committed the murder in plain sight by brushing some hair from his pal’s cheek during a chat in the kitchen. He went for Paloma, 44, in the poison pollen plot after she had told him: “I definitely trust you.” Paloma was said to be furious over the betrayal. After the killing, Alan, 49, said: “I feel awful. I didn’t know what else to do. I’ve gone and murdered one of my best friends.”

It started with 19 celebs, including diver Tom Daley, presenter Kate Garraway, chat show host Jonathan Ross, actress Celia Imrie, YouTuber Niko Omilana and sports pundit Clare Balding, battling it out for a £100,000 prize for charity.

The murder mystery series sees players play detective as a Faithful or hide in plain sight as a Traitor who secretly kill their unsuspecting rivals, with people voted off at the roundtable.

Nearly 10 million people watched the final of this year’s civilian series, setting a new record for the biggest audience in the programme’s history. The tense game show saw Faithfuls Jake Brown and Leanne Quigley outwit their fellow contestants to share a prize of £94,600. It’s filmed at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands. The next episode is Wednesday.

80s heartthrob looks worlds away from his iconic role in The Lost Boys

One eighties heartthrob, know for his role in The Lost Boys, was spotted with his teenage son in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, this week

One beloved eighties heartthrob looked totally different as he stepped out with his lookalike son during a sunny day out in Santa Monica, Los Angeles this week. The 59-year-old actor and his son attended church after enjoying a morning swim and a trip to the beach.

The actor, known for his role as Michael Emerson in The Lost Boys, wore a black polo shirt, black trousers and sunglasses while his teenage son matched in a similar polo shirt and jeans. The star was none other than Jason Patric, real name John Anthony Miller III.

Jason raised son Gus, who was conceived via in vitro fertilisation, as a solo parent. He took legal action in 2012 to become his father.

He and ex Danielle Schreiber separated in May 2012 and Danielle’s attorneys argued that, under California law, Jason was a sperm donor and that as the exes had never married and the child was conceived by artificial means, that he had no custody rights to his son.

Two years later, after an appeal, he was given the right to claim parentage of Gus, who was four at the time. Jason shared Gus with Danielle.

After being granted the right, he told Good Morning America the victory was “surreal” and claimed he had “faith in the process” He added: “I have been a dad and I’m going to continue to be a dad. You can’t ever abandon a child.”

Jason had iconic roles Rush, Sleepers, Narc and Geronimo: An American Legend. The star previously revealed the reason he changed his surname to ‘Patric’ from ‘Miller’.

He’s the son of Academy Award–nominated actor and Pulitzer Prize–winning playwright Jason Miller and actress Linda Miller. His father left the family when he was still young.

Speaking to The Times Tribune about being a nepo-baby, he said: “The paternal or familial nepotism is not my bag.

“I can understand why people would be interested and that’s why I’ve talked about my past and my father, and I’ve never done that in 25 years.”

Jason, who played Michael in the movie, controversially started dating actress Julia Roberts just days after she cancelled her wedding to his co-star Keifer Sutherland in 1991, running off to Ireland with her on the proposed day of the wedding.

Jason later found himself embroiled in a custody battle with his on/off partner Danielle Schreiber.

Robbie Williams admits tactical move after lashing out at Taylor Swift

After Robbie Williams announced a run of shows that will coincide with the release of his latest studio album, he made his first BBC Radio 1 live lounge visit for 15 years

Robbie Williams decided to push back the release of his album five months because he was desperate to create music history – and cursed Taylor Swift for making him wait!

If Britpop tops the UK albums chart it will mark Robbie’s 16th number one, putting him ahead of The Beatles’ long-standing achievement. The pop star says he is so obsessed with landing the title that he held new record back until February after hearing he would have to go head-to-head with Taylor in the charts.

He happily admits he was running scared as he made his first BBC Radio 1 live lounge visit for 15 years. He joined Rickie, Melvin and Charlie as he belted out some of his classic hits but it’s the future he’s thinking of – and he says he is desperate to hit top spot early in 2026.

“The album should have been coming out this week, but for Taylor Swift. I mean, I’m still a big deal – but I’m not competing with that! So… I’ve gone and shifted it, haven’t I?” he said, as Taylor released The Life of a Showgirl, which is almost certain to the the 35-year-old secure her 14th number one album in the UK.

He was then reminded that if he does manage to chart in first place, that he will will overhaul the legendary Beatles as the artist with the most number one albums in the UK. “When those words leave your mouth, it’s life leaving this reality and going into a separate one that I don’t understand… but I’ll take!” Robbie went on.

“I’m really competitive, that’s why I moved the album. I’m sure I’m not supposed to say it, but it would genuinely be out now. I desperately want that thing! I want that, please!”

The former Take That star has just announced his Long 90’s Tour kicks off in Glasgow at Barrowlands Ballroom on February 4 2026, with Robbie playing Liverpool Olympia on the day of the album’s release, February 6.

The 51-year-old will also play 02 Academy Brixton in London on February 8 and Wolverhampton’s Civic Hall on February 9. The tour announcement coincides with the release of his latest single, Pretty Face, which follows previously released songs from the album – Rocket, Spies and Human.

The Britpop cover shows Robbie in his red tracksuit outfit that he wore to attend Glastonbury Festival in 1995, at the height of the Britpop era. His other chart-topping albums include Life Thru A Lens (1997), I’ve Been Expecting You (1998), Escapology (2002), Intensive Care (2005) and Rudebox (2006).

He has also had seven number one singles in the UK with songs including Millennium, Rock DJ and Candy. Speaking about the album, he said: “I set out to create the album that I wanted to write and release after I left Take That in 1995.

“It was the peak of Britpop and a golden age for British music. I’ve worked with some of my heroes on this album; it’s raw, there are more guitars and it’s an album that’s even more upbeat and anthemic than usual.

“There’s some ‘Brit’ in there and there’s certainly some ‘pop’ too – I’m immensely proud of this as a body of work and I’m excited for fans to hear this album.”

Wrexham co-owner’s wife sets record straight on husband ‘dating’ Kim Kardashian

The wife of one of Wrexham’s Hollywood co-owners has addressed a claim about her husband dating reality star Kim Kardashian, revealing how the story came to light

The wife of one of Wrexham’s Hollywood co-owners has clarified that his claim to have previously dated Kim Kardashian is not true. Actress Kaitlin Olson is married to Rob Mac, who bought the Welsh football club back in 2021 alongside Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds.

The couple met on the set of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, the long-running American sitcom which both have starring roles in. They got engaged in 2007 before marrying the following year and share two sons, Axel and Leo.

Olson’s acting career is currently going from strength to strength as the lead in Disney+ crime-drama High Potential and she is also known for her comedic roles in Always Sunny and Hacks. With her time at a premium, she told US talk show host Jimmy Kimmel this week how her husband has been tasked with taking care of their children at home.

However, it appears that Mac, who recently legally changed his surname from McElhenney, has been getting inventive by telling his sons some tall tales during their time together. One of the stories he invented is that he once had a romantic relationship with reality TV star Kardashian.

While Mac successfully managed to convince their children that his claim was true, Olson made clear that it was in fact a lie. She also revealed how a friend went to extreme lengths to help persuade them by doctoring a fake photograph of Mac and Kardashian together.

Appearing on Kimmel’s show on Thursday, she said: “I’ve worked every day for a couple years now. Rob is really picking up the slack at home. He’s really enjoying and embracing parenting duty.

“He’s getting very creative with things over there. I came home the other day and we were having dinner. The boys looked at me, and they were like, ‘Mom, did dad date Kim Kardashian before you?’ And I was like, ‘Okay, here we go.’

“He doubled down on this Kim Kardashian thing. And they were like, ‘So, dad wasn’t engaged to Kim Kardashian, was he?’ I had to play along so I was like, ‘Yeah, they were dating. We both dated people before.'”

Discussing how the story spiralled from there, Olson added: “I put that to bed and I didn’t think about it for a while. Two weeks later, apparently my husband went into his office and told everyone this story.

“His chief operating officer [at his company More Better Industries], Fayer Joyce, thought it was the greatest thing ever, and spent all of her time at work for days creating this photo. She wore it in her purse for a week to age it.

“Then on the back, she made up a pretend marketing manager [for Kardashian], who wrote a note to Rob. She took this very seriously. I was like, ‘Is there nothing else to do over there?'”

Earlier this year, Mac filed documents in Los Angeles to legally change his surname from McElhenney. It followed the 48-year-old growing frustrated over people being unable to pronounce his name.

He first mentioned his intention in an interview with US outlet Variety in May, telling them: “As our business and our storytelling is expanding into other regions of the world and other languages in which my name is even harder to pronounce, I’m just going by Rob Mac.”

Mac and Reynolds bought Wrexham in February 2021 and have been credited with a sharp rise in visitors to the Welsh city. It follows them charting the club’s rise from the National League to the Championship via the Disney+ series Welcome to Wrexham.

Strictly’s Vicky Pattison confesses ‘it’s not OK’ as she gives personal life update

Vicky Pattison, who is taking part in the new series of Strictly Come Dancing, disclosed that her husband, Ercan Ramadan, whom she married in 2024, is currently in Cyprus

Vicky Pattison has confessed that she’s feeling “lonely” while her husband is abroad visiting family. Currently showing off her dance moves on Strictly Come Dancing, Vicky shared her feelings with co-host and former Strictly star Angela Scanlon during a recent episode of the Get A Grip podcast.

She explained that her husband, Ercan Ramadan, whom she married in 2024, is currently in Cyprus visiting family, something she described as “long overdue” as she highlighted how he works hard and takes care of her and their dogs.

Vicky, who recently apologised to Strictly fans, said: “Like, he puts up with my lack of emotional regulation permanently, like; the f*****g poor bloke deserved a break, and I thought it would be alright because I’m just like going to Strictly, dancing all day, coming home, whinging about being tired and going to bed anyway.

“And actually, it’s not okay, and I did not like…I’ve always been like a girl’s girl me whole life. I am a girl’s girl and then I’ve recently discovered like I’m a husband’s girl now. And like with him gone, I’m floundering slightly.”

She went on to say: “Like, I’m coming home to like a dark house, a cold house, and I dunno. I’m eating Nik Naks in bed for me dinner, and I’m just lonely and I’m miserable and I’m not 100 per cent. Aw, God, I’m whinging!”

In an effort to comfort her friend, Angela pointed out that there was a “lot on” at present. She also highlighted how, as a “hyper-independent” woman, you can sometimes forget the impact “stabilising things, i.e. humans” can have on your life.

Meanwhile, Vicky, who’s paired with Kai Widdrington on the BBC dance programme, recently disclosed that Ercan was “sick of us”. In a frank revelation about her private life, she confessed that she hasn’t been intimate with him since beginning her stint on the programme.

Speaking previously on the same podcast, the ex-Geordie Shore personality gave fans an insight into the life of a Strictly contestant. Besides feeling “nervous”, she also mentioned you’re “nearly throwing up” backstage.

Vicky was questioned if she was pregnant, leading her to disclose that Ercan hadn’t glimpsed her “lady bits” in months. She also informed him that he was “not getting any now” as she was taking part in the programme.

In other developments, Vicky recently confessed that she was brought to tears by a social media post from professional dancer Lauren Oakley (who is partnered with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink). It concerned a video depicting Lauren dancing with her mum’s dance partner, Mark.

She wrote alongside the footage: “They danced together from when they were six, won lots of titles, and they are still dance partners today.

“He’s supported me at every competition growing up, and all the way through my professional on-stage and Strictly career.”
