Jewelry is always a popular choice for this Valentine’s Day, and in particular, a tennis bracelet is a great choice if you’re arguing over what to get your loved one. This dainty style has had a resurgence thanks to the “tenniscore” fashion trend, popularised in mid-2024 thanks to the hype around Zendaya and her role in The Challengers.
Meghan Markle, Sofia Richie, and Hailey Bieber have been spotted wearing them, pairing them with a variety of outfits, including evening gowns and casual wear. If you love the idea of getting one for yourself or your partner, we also love Astrid &, Miyu’s Tennis Bracelet for £75 – available in three choices of finishes.
In her most recent role, soap actress Natalie Cassidy looks far beyond Sonia Fowler’s world.
The actor, 41, will appear in the second series of Boarders, which is due to be released next month. She’s a guest star on the show just like Alan Cumming, 59, who, alongside his acting career, is now known as the host of the Traitors US.
Five black scholarship students at a prestigious private school with a reputation problem are the subjects of the BBC comedy-drama. The first season, which received acclaim, was released in February last year and saw the main characters “set out to make the most out of the opportunity, despite their places only being offered as a poorly-disguised PR exercise”. The cast is led by Josh Tedeku (who plays Jaheim), Jodie Campbell (Leah), Sekou Diaby (Toby), Myles Kamwendo (Omar) and Aruna Jalloh (Femi), who will all return for the new season.
In the new series, Natalie will play Sharon Hail, a teacher at St. Gilbert’s, it has been confirmed. While Alan will play a character with the same name, he has “very high standards” for the students attending his party.
For its second series, which will be broadcast on BBC One (BBC, Studio Lambert, and Jonathan Birch), Natalie Cassidy joined the board of the BBC’s Boarders.
Natalie said: “I loved series one of Boarders and was so thrilled to be asked to appear in series two.” I enjoyed playing a very eccentric teacher because the cast and crew all had such talent. Don’t miss it”!
Alan, a fellow guest star, made a joke about how important it is to let people know you are a fan of theirs. And, so it was with Boarders. I mentioned this to the producers, who also happen to be The Traitors, and I immediately found myself on the set having a great time!
The show follows five students – played by Josh Tedeku (left), Aruna Jalloh (centre left), Myles Kamwendo (centre), Jodie Campbell (centre right) and Sekou Diaby (right) – at a private school (BBC / Studio Lambert Media Ltd / Jonathan Birch)
The BBC made their casting announcements earlier this month, and it is believed that a trailer for the new series has aired ahead of the show’s return. Wunmi Mosaku, who won the BAFTA, plays Grace in the second season of Boarders, along with Michael Salami, who plays Femi’s Uncle Teju. In her first on-screen role as an exchange student, Devon’yè, Kendra Brown stars.
The new series, which will premiere in two weeks, has been teased by the BBC as “Series one saw these five outsiders begin to thrive.” In series 2, viewers are asked how much they would sacrifice in order to survive.
On BBC iPlayer, you can now watch the first season of Boarders. On February 3rd, BBC iPlayer and BBC Three will air the second series.
Deezer, a music streaming service, reported on Friday that one in ten tracks being uploaded to the streaming service each day are fake or just noise.
The company’s fraud detection technologies, rolled out in 2023, discovered that “around 10, 000 tracks completely generated by AI are uploaded to the platform every day, representing around 10 percent of the total”, the Paris-based firm said in a statement.
The success of its technologies, which can identify AI content “without the need for extensive training on specific databases”, had led it to seek last month two patents.
Deezer claims that by weeding out fake songs that are then streamed through phony accounts created to remunerate the “artists” it aims to improve the pay of genuine musicians.
Many fake tracks can clone the voices of existing artists, which currently cannot be copyrighted, or copycat popular songs.
Deezer is currently working on a system that will list AI-generated content that is not included in its suggested listening lists.
According to chief executive Alexis Lanternier, “artificial intelligence is continuing to disrupt the music ecosystem more and more.”
In an effort to better compensate artists whose songs have fewer downloads but have a more diverse base of listeners, Deezer announced in January that its remuneration structure would be changed.
Parents were left speechless after finding out about a “genius” hack for tidying up their children’s toys using a £5 item from Home Bargains. Maisie Beth, known on TikTok as @Maisieandbelle, went viral after revealing that she uses a Home Solutions 3 Tier Wooden Shoe Rack to organise her daughter’s toys, helping to keep her home as neat and tidy as possible.
Nothing is more upsetting than having to tidy up after a toddler who has strewn the house all day to toss toys and objects. Particularly when there is limited space in the home, organizing everything can be difficult. The mother shows how the shoe rack organizes everything so that her daughter can reach it in the 43-second video, which garnered more than 27 000 views. Many parents, who were eager to try the clever idea for themselves at home, were interested in the video.
The “genius” Home Bargains life-hack is only £4.99 (Ian Cooper/Daily Post Wales)
In the short video, she told her 36.4k followers: “If you fell into the trap of getting your kids a wooden kitchen or anything similar this Christmas, then please keep on watching. I’m not sure why any of us mothers thought a second kitchen in our house would be a good idea. However, I’ve discovered a really low-cost life hack.
Maisie also credited fellow TikToker @Amberjainee, from whom she learned the hack. She explained that it keeps the house and is ideal for her daughter to use any toy she wants to play with in addition to its size and height. My little girl can access everything on here whenever she wants, according to Maisie. “It’s absolutely perfect.”
I’m glad I finally have some storage for everything because Santa has spoiled her with every item you can find for this kitchen. It was super easy to put together, even with a toddler at my feet”. The £5 bargain left viewers stunned, with many wanting to try it out themselves. A shocked mum wrote: “Omg this is serious!!!! RUNNING to get one”!
A second one commented: “This is genius”. A third one agreed: “What an amazing idea!”! Meanwhile, @Amberjainee herself left a comment: “You’re welcome! It looks lovely, what a beautiful space. obsessed with the “little waffle maker” Don’t blink twice, or you’ll miss out on this bargain that is still available on the Home Bargains website!
After the couple lost their $2.5 million home in the Pacific Palisades fire, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are suing LADWP and the City of Los Angeles.
The pair have alleged in the lawsuit, which was filed in California’s Superior Court in Los Angeles County on Tuesday, that the fire was “an inescapable and unavoidable consequence” due to how the area’s water supply was managed, and they accuse the LADWP of “failing to maintain an adequate water supply system to fight the blazes”.
The couple’s claim includes that the enormous water storage complex in the Palisades has been completely empty for almost a year due to delays in the couple’s efforts to repair the Santa Ynez Reservoir.
Spencer and Heidi and 20 other homeowners, including Spencer’s mother Janet Pratt, are part of the lawsuit, which faults the LADWP for emptying the Santa Ynez Reservoir prior to the fires beginning earlier this month.
The couple say the fire could have been avoided (PA Archive/PA Images)
With Heidi Montag (.instagram/spencerpratt) watching the horrific Pacific Palisades fire engulf his home, Spencer Pratt looks distraught.
The complaint claims that the substantial risk posed to Pacific Palisades by wildfires far outweighed this stated public purpose. The Palisades Fire caused far more harm than any benefit that could have been realized by putting in more work and putting off repairs.
The lawsuit also “alleges inverse condemnation,” which allows property owners to recover damages from public use, and seeks “unspecified damages.”
Los Angeles firefighters had access to a fire water supply, according to the California governor, Gavin Newsom.
He wrote on X on January 10th, “I’m calling for an independent investigation into the reported unavailability of water supplies from the Santa Ynez Reservoir.”
We need solutions to stop this from happening again, and we have everything we can to stop these devastating fires.
It comes after Spencer revealed that he had made “life-changing” money on TikTok.
After being affected by the fires, the reality star has been recording his recovery on social media. The reality couple who first gained notoriety on MTV’s The Hills fled their home and separated their two children, Gunner, six, and Ryker, two.
Fans rallied around the devastated couple by streaming Heidi’s debut album Superficial, which was released 15 years ago, to iTunes. Heidi announced the release of “more bops” and said she was “not done” as she revealed the details for her new single, Prototype, following the enormous success of her previous music.
Two of their friends on TikTok started a GoFundMe for the couple, which outraged the masses online, with many claiming that there were those who were less fortunate who had been impacted by the fires. Spencer has now revealed that TikTok, which was recently banned in the US, has altered his life, and that it has since been reintroduced just hours later.
In new interview, Spencer, 41, said:” I made, like, $4, 000 on TikTok this week, but on TikTok Live, where people can just give to me direct, I think maybe $20, 000. So that’s phenomenal, and life-changing. He continued, “People just backing you and getting behind you, and that’s the power of individual supports, and that’s the most powerful when you don’t need to rely on ads or AI or algorithms when just real people just want to give.” It’s unbelievable and incredible. “
However, the pair asserted that rumors about their earnings from social media posts following the devastating LA fires were exaggerated. Spencer clarified that he was making 10 cents per 10,000 views on the social media platform.
I screenshotted my RPM, which shows how much money I made on Tiktok, and Spencer told E! News”. Everyone thought that was $3.5 million in the week. “
However, according to Spencer, he actually only made $3, 500 that week from the 5, 000 videos on his account, explaining that many of the views on his TikTok videos aren’t monetised by the app’s content creator program”. If it was true, we would be in Bel Air right now shopping for our new house, “he joked.
It’s difficult to imagine turning on This Morning and not witnessing Josie Gibson’s upbeat smile that adds a little infectious energy to the proceedings. One of Bristol’s most famous exports, she celebrates her 40th birthday this week. And it’s undoubtedly a distant memory from her former career as a financial sales representative, who reportedly pleaded with producers in 2010 that she had “turned into a loser” and that she had lost her game.
The mum-of-one hits the milestone on 24 January, but has big plans to make the celebrations last much, much longer. “I’m going to treat the whole year like it’s my birthday because it’s a big milestone”, she told OK!. “I’m going to book a skiing holiday to Val d’Isere! I’ve always wanted to do that”.

Her year-long birthday celebrations will undoubtedly include everything that Josie values most, including her six-year-old son Reggie, her friends, many of whom she met long before her Big Brother days, and some of the famous friends she’s made so far.
Although Josie has a lot to celebrate, especially considering her modest beginnings as a child rearer with five siblings on the outskirts of Bristol, it is unlikely that her infancy will have had a significant impact on the actor.
She told us last summer, “I try to live my entire life like I’m not going to be here tomorrow, and I always take every chance with both hands. I don’t like to let an opportunity go.”
Josie has come out as one of the most down-to-earth celebrities in the industry, but it hasn’t been an easy road. She emerged victorious and well on her way to becoming a national treasure.
However, she won over the entire country (Yui Mok/PA Wire), and she emerged victorious.
And her career has gone from strength to strength ever since (James Gourley/ITV/REX/Shutterstock)
There’s been family tragedy, personal heartbreak, the dramatic domino effect at This Morning triggered by Phillip Schofield’s departure, and the struggle of adjusting to being a single mum. However, she has a strong body and has made a lot of good decisions over the past 15 years, despite the fact that her 2023 appearance on I’m a Celebrity (where she finished fourth) didn’t quite live up to her Big Brother success.
She just started running her own Christmas program on Channel 4, continues to hold the highly coveted presenter position at This Morning, and has a lot to celebrate in her fifth decade.
Another former Big Brother star who has always championed Josie is Alison Hammond, who turns 50 in February. Life is better with Josie in the world, according to the Bake Off host, and the two parties are in agreement.
“You are so very special”, Josie once wrote in a birthday shout-out. “You bring so much joy to people’s lives, including mine. Both inside and out, you are gorgeous. You supported me, pushed me to new places, and made me laugh along the way.
However, Josie’s son Reggie is undoubtedly her most gratifying accomplishment so far, aside from her friends and work. And her biggest “luxury in life” isn’t anything material, she told us recently, it’s simply snuggling up for evening cuddles with her little one.
On This Morning (ITV), the pair are a formidable force.
Alison and Josie shared a love of Big Brother (TV) shows, without doubt.
“He’s changing all the time and as much as you don’t want your kids to get any older, seeing this little person that you’ve made growing up is just so special”, she said. Since Reggie and I are big snugglers, snuggling up and watching a movie together is what makes up my biggest life luxury.
Josie deserves praise for navigating co-parenting in the public eye after splitting from Reggie’s father, property developer Terry Bond, a few months after Reggie’s birth in 2018.
She has never shied away from discussing her life as a single mother and has always done so while maintaining a commendable level of respect and honesty about the realities of the situation. “I mean, we’re not perfect and we’ve had our ups and downs, but, at the end of the day, we’re really lucky”, she told OK!.
“Reggie’s got a mum that loves him very much, and a dad that loves him very much, and that’s what matters. I’m very fortunate he’s got the daddy he’s got. He would never give up on Reggie and would remain committed to him forever, which is everything I value.
Josie’s most important job is as mum to Reggie, now six

Given some of Josie’s own childhood experiences, her words about surrounding Reggie with love are far more than platitudes. Josie was the eldest of six children born in South Gloucestershire in 1985, raising three boys and three girls from her mother, a horse trainer, Mandy Gibson. Amanda has previously mentioned how they continue to be a “traveller family,” with her taking the kids camping out in a caravan for eight weeks without running water, gas, or electricity for the summer holidays.
“When you live in the van then you don’t waste water, electricity or your time”, she said. “We’ve always had horses, traps and carriages. We live a simple way of life because we are that simple.
Josie lost her father, who has never been publicly named, when she was just 10, and her uncle was later convicted of his manslaughter. Her maternal instinct is strong, which may be attributed to the sudden loss. “When I see Reggie with his dad, I love it so much, I didn’t have that growing up”, she said last year. “It’s so beautiful to see”.
As Josie approaches her milestone birthday, it’s a reminder that she was just 24 when she was picked to enter Big Brother. Even at that age though, producers knew they’d found something special. Josie won a sizable 77.5% of the vote in the final, leaving the other four finalists with a meager 22.5% between them after receiving a ticket to the final from her housemates on day 66.
Josie went back to her reality TV roots in I’m A Celebrity in 2023 (ITV/REX/Shutterstock)
After climbing the stairs to the door, she found a new love interest in housemate John James Parton, who she had surrounded her with a paper bag in order to calm her nerves. But her romance with the Australian was short-lived, and they split up in 2011.
On Loose Women, she said, “He admitted to loving me, but he wasn’t in love with me the way he should be.” When I’m really bitter, trying to be dignified about it is the hardest thing to do.
Two years later, Josie got engaged after a six-month relationship to plumber Luke Sanwo, who she met at a music festival. But by 2015 they’d called it off. Josie hasn’t had a serious relationship with Reggie’s father Terry in a long time, but Josie recently revealed to us that she’s completely okay with that. “It wouldn’t be fair on them”, she said on the topic of partners. Where would anyone fit in the phrase “where is my time divided between my son and my career”?
But given her ability to throw 110% at whatever she’s doing and to embrace new opportunities, there’s every chance that her 41st year will have more than just a ski trip and a few parties in store for her, especially as she’s all about the “experiences and connections”.
She says, “Even when I’m shattered and think, ‘ Oh I can’t do that, ‘ I will make myself get up and do it, because life isn’t about material things. You’re not taking your belongings to the grave, you’re taking your experiences and connections”.
