Eagle-eyed fans have claimed Drake hit out at Serena Williams after she joined Kendrick Lamar on stage at the Super Bowl halftime performance.

Last weekend, Kendrick’s halftime show became the most-watched Super Bowl performance of all time. Not only did he wow fans with his political performance and imagery, he also delighted viewers when he performed his Grammy-winning diss against Drake, Not Like Us.

He first teased the song in between tracks as he headed over to a group of dancers and said: “I wanna perform their favourite song but you know they love to sue,” referring to Drake issuing a federal defamation lawsuit to his music label UMG over rival Kendrick’s diss track.

A few beats of the song played over the speakers before Kendrick said: “Yeah that song, oh maybe I’ll think about it.” He performed other songs before he finally performed Not Like Us. Kendrick rapped, “Say Drake, I heard you like ’em young”, as he smiled as he looked right at the camera.

The entire crowd sang along to, “Why you trollin’ like a b***h? Ain’t you tired?/ Tryna strike a chord and it’s probably A minorrrrrr.” The performance had many talking points but one of the biggest surprises was an appearance from tennis champion Serena Williams, who was seen crip walking as Kendrick belted out the chorus. Fans quickly pointed out Drake and the 23-time Grand Slam tennis champion reportedly dated around a decade ago.

Drake and Serena are said to have dated from 2011 to 2015 – although the reported romance was never confirmed and their dates are said to have been very low key. Not only did Kendrick stand up for Serena in Not Like Us when he rapped: “From Alondra down to Central, n***** better not speak on Serena,” he also invited the sports star to dance at the halftime show.

Her move seemingly touched a nerve for Drake as he took to his “finsta”, or secondary Instagram account, to share a photo of his arm around Jill Smoller, Serena’s former agent. It was also pointed out the photo was taken during the summer of 2015 when he went to support Serena at Wimbledon. It was also around the same time they were supposedly dating.

In 2022, five years after Serena married Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, Drake hit out at Alexis in his song Middle of the Ocean. Lyrics included: “Sidebar, Serena, your husband a groupie.”

Serena’s crip walk at the Super Bowl wasn’t only a dig at Drake, it was also in response to when she performed the move at the 2012 Olympics. The crip walk was met with intense criticism from people within the tennis world. After the halftime appearance, she addressed the Wimbledon criticism in a video shared on X. She said: “Man I did not crip walk like that at Wimbledon,” and added: “I would have been fined.”

The Maybelline Superstay lipstick in soft taupe has been my must-have for over ten years, and I’ve never found a lipstick to compete with it. I’ve tried plenty of nude shades that are close to it in the shade—I prefer a cool tone or neutral colour myself—but the longevity is unmatched with this Maybelline essential.

Boasting over 24 hours of wear, which it easily lives up to and surprises, it’s the perfect lipstick to reach for no matter the occasion. Going out for coffee? It won’t come off on the cup and disappear after the first sip. Cocktails with the girls? It stays put even after a round of shots. Enjoying a nice dinner out? You could eat a burger or chicken wings (something that would normally banish any lippy), but this lipstick does not budge. And with Valentine’s quite close on the horizon, it’s worth mentioning this gem doesn’t budge even if you’re having a smooch.

My two personal faves that I’ve been opting for time and time again are Soft Taupe (a cooler-tone beige-pink that’s perfect for every day) and Caramel Kiss, which I got my hands on for days where I fancy a dash of colour.

Available in most high street stores, including Boots, Superdrug, Branded Beauty, and on shelves at most major supermarkets, my favourite shade (soft taupe) tends to sell out on physical products, so Amazon is my go-to place where I know it’s in stock nearly all the time.

Not breaking the bank, this two-in-one wonder isn’t just your ordinary lipstick. It’s a liquid formula with a doe foot applicator, and it does dry down matte (something I love), but it also comes with a top-coat balm, which adds a dewy shine if you prefer a glossier finish. This balm is also handy thanks to the fact it’s attached to the lipstick and can be easily reached when you fancy wearing it atop the lipstick or as an ordinary lip balm.

The only downside I’ve found is that when choosing a brighter or darker colour, this lipstick does dry fairly quickly and requires a steady hand. You need precision when applying it; if you make a mistake, you must act fast to ensure no marks or stains are left in its wake.

The only other fault some may experience is that it really does not move. I’ve found it typically lasts closer to 40 hours, depending on what you’re doing. If you’re eating, drinking, or if you tend to pick or chew your lips, it may last less than that. Taking it off with your ordinary make-up wipe can be quite challenging.

This isn’t something I personally mind, as I wear it daily, and haven’t found that it dries out my lips if I leave it on. Still, if you frequently change your lipstick colour or don’t like leaving makeup on, this may prove a tad difficult at the end of the day. That being said, most makeup cleansing balms I’ve tried do a good job of removing most of them, making it easier to remove the rest with a wipe or cotton pad.

Drake subtly responded to Kendrick Lamar’s hit Super Bowl performance by liking an Instagram post about the halftime show.

On Sunday, Kendrick became the most-watched halftime act of all time when he took to the stage at the Super Bowl game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs. After a few minutes of teasing his Grammy-winning diss track about Drake, Not Like Us, he finally performed a section of it for hyped fans.

The crowd loudly cheered as he performed the song. At one moment, the audience could be heard singing along to his lyrics ‘A-Minor’ before tennis champion Serena Williams appeared on stage to crip walk. Kendrick ended his short set with ‘tv off’ as the audience chanted with him.

When Kendrick rapped, ‘Say Drake, I heard you like ’em young’, he smiled as he looked right at the camera, causing fans at home to share their delight over Kendrick’s ‘pettiness’. Drake, who is currently on tour in Australia, has so far kept quiet about the show but responded to it by liking a video of streamer Kai Cenat’s reaction to the political performance.

“Okay, they added sound effects to this NFL s**t. Oh my f***ing God. So right here, I just heard crowd sounds. On my life there was no sounds. F**k, they add crowd effects? I did not know that,” Kai, who was at the game, claimed. The post, shared on Rap Card, was like by Drake. Fans were quick to spot the ‘like’, with one person writing in the comment section: “Drake so messy for liking this.”

Another posted: “Liked by Drake is amazingly wild.” One said: “Of course Drake liked this s**t.” Ahead of the performing Not Like Us, Kendrick teased playing the rap track but cited Drake’s ongoing lawsuit over the song. During the performance between tracks, Kendrick headed over to a group of dancers as he said: “I wanna perform their favourite song but you know they love to sue,” before a clip of the song played over the speakers as Kendrick added: “Yeah that song, oh maybe I’ll think about it.”

He ignored any potential backlash from Drake as he pleased the crowd with a hyped Not Like Us performance – leaving the crowd rapping along to the track. In another dig at Drake, Kendrick’s performance featured a cameo from the Canadian rapper’s ex-girlfriend Serena Williams.

K Dot left out one specific lyric heard in the recorded version of the track. He chose to leave out the line he calls the Madiba Riddim rapper a “certified paedophile”.

Strictly Come Dancing’s Pete Wicks has revealed a major lifestyle change that has resulted in him having a “jawline now”.

The 37-year-old, who has previously spoken about how he used to drink “a bottle of wine, every night”. But taking part in the hit BBC show led him to cut down on how much he drank.

On the Staying Relevant podcast, former Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson noted that fans had observed Pete’s weight loss. And while Pete hinted it was partly down to the rigorous training for Strictly, he also admitted cutting out booze was a help.

Sam said: “We’re getting a lot of people who are saying Pete’s lost a lot of weight, they’re worried about you. I think you look great. You’re looking real good around the neckline, no wattle.”

Pete replied: “It’s Strictly. Do you know what it is? I’m just less swollen.

“I’ve got a jawline now rather than it looking like a thumb, which I think when I was drinking was the problem, it was just like a thumb in a wig.”

Former The Only Way is Essex star Pete opened up about his family history with alcohol when he appeared on the Loose Women spin-off Loose Men. He said he was drinking a “bottle of wine” every night, reports Lancs Live.

He shared: “I grew up with family that had alcohol dependencies and I think I would never have considered myself to be someone who had a problem with drinking. But, Strictly really changed my drinking habits.”

“Pre [Strictly] I was a pretty heavy drinker for 15 years, to the point where I’d have a bottle of wine a night, every night, and that’s just cooking and chilling out. It was my way of kind of chilling out, until I did Strictly and kind of stopped drinking and realised that actually, all that was doing was kind of numbing parts of my reality.”

He continued: “It became a habit to the point where I was functioning by just carrying on doing that and it didn’t really bother me. I didn’t get hangovers and I didn’t really get come downs or anything like that. I was just drinking for the sake of drinking but also, it gave me a reason to numb how I was feeling a lot of the time.”

Pete admits that during his Strictly training he discovered “trying to learn a waltz with a slightly fuzzy head is quite difficult”. Now, having reduced his alcohol consumption, Pete says he experiences greater “clarity” in his daily life.

Pete rose to fame after joining the cast of TOWIE in 2015. He has since appeared in a host of hit TV shows including Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls, Celebs Go Dating, and For Dogs’ Sake.

He appeared on Strictly with professional Jowita Przystał, making it to the semi-final. The contest was eventually won by comedian Chris McCausland and professional Dianne Buswell.

Love Island All Stars viewers claim that they’ve uncovered the real reason behind Elma Pazar’s recent clashes with Ekin-Su Culculoglu.

Fans suspect Elma’s actions can be traced back to an incident that took place two weeks ago. During a trip to the beach bar, a public vote named Elma as the most popular female contestant.

As a result, she was granted the authority – alongside Luca Bish, the most popular male – to decide which fellow Islanders would be sent home.

One viewer speculated: “Elma really isn’t coming off well since being voted as the favourite girl is she? I doubt she’s the favourite girl now.” Another chimed in: “Elma being voters’ favourite girl must have gone to her head because since that she’s been absolutely vile and unwatchable please remove her she is so unkind.”

A third person remarked: “Since they voted Elma ‘favourite girl’ she’s been fooling around in that place.” Someone else added: “Man that Elma is giving high school bully/mean girl vibes, you’re in your 30’s, a grown woman. Grow up! That ‘favourite girl’ really went to her head. Get her out!”

Elma and Ekin-Su’s tensions first flared during the heart rate challenge. Ekin-Su kissed Sammy Root – who happens to be coupled up with Elma – in an attempt to raise his heart rate.

As the results of the steamy challenge were announced, Elma took aim at Ekin-su whenn she confided in pal, Catherine Agbaje. She said: “Do you not think it’s mad she [Ekin-Su] kissed him [Sammy]?…it’s just weird if you’re gonna kiss one kiss all, but you went out of your way to kiss Sammy…it made me feel weird about her.”

Catherine called Ekin-Su over, who insisted: “I didn’t snog him, I just pecked him…I didn’t think that much of it…it’s not that deep.” However, Elma responds saying: “To me it is that deep because he’s the only person that you kissed out of everyone, apart from [on/off boyfriend] Curtis.” Admitting she may have crossed boundaries, Ekin-su replies: “I’m sorry if it’s come across like that or if you feel a certain way…you’re right to be upset with me…”

Since then, Ekin-Su claims Elma has held an unnecessary grudge against her. Later in the week, Elma told off Samie Elishi for apologising to Ekin-Su after pieing her during a game. When Samie approached Elma, she urged her not to say sorry. This left Ekin-Su in tears, and when her show partner Curtis found out, he confronted Elma – who was furious with him. Since then, Elma and Ekin-Su have not been on good terms.

Elma also aggressively told Curtis Pritchard to “shut the f*** up,” leaving Ekin-Su livid. In last night’s episode, the islanders received calls from home, and Elma got one from her TOWIE pal, Amber Turner.

During the call, Amber was gushing over Sammy and Elma’s relationship, saying he was “the perfect person” for Elma. She also expressed her doubts about Ekin-Su and Curtis’ relationship, saying it “doesn’t come across as super genuine.”
