Conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel have spoken out for the first time since being seen with a newborn, sparking speculation about their growing family.

Now 35, the sisters shared their joy in a recent TikTok video, calling themselves “blessed” while showing photos of them arriving at a school, pushing a pram.

The video, soundtracked by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s Nuthin’ But a ‘G’ Thang, featured paparazzi images of the pair, showing the twins removing a car seat from the back of their black Tesla and walking through a school car park.

They simply captioned the video: “Blessed”, accompanied by hashtags like #sisterhood and #respect.

Last month, Abby and Brittany, who starred in their own TLC reality show in 2012, were photographed entering a school in New Brighton, Minnesota – where they work as fifth-grade teachers – proudly introducing the baby to colleagues.

This sighting came just weeks after the pair were first seen pushing a pram, fuelling rumours that Abby and her husband, U.S. Army veteran Josh Bowling, may have welcomed a child.

Prior to the school visit, the twins were seen stopping by a McDonald’s drive-thru before heading inside with the baby. They wore coordinated summer outfits, including tank tops in purple, white, and leopard print, jean shorts, black sandals, and both had their hair down. A co-worker walked the trio out, sharing a warm hug before the sisters drove away in their Tesla.

One eyewitness told The Sun, “They looked really tired during the visit, but happy to see everyone. They did seem to struggle a bit with the baby carrier.”

After their school visit, the twins returned to their $510,000 five-bedroom, four-bathroom home in Saint Paul. So far, Abby and Brittany have not publicly confirmed whether the baby is theirs.

Abby, who married husband Josh back in 2021, is already a step-mother to his daughter Isabella, from a previous romance – but for a long time, the sisters have always expressed a desire to have children.

“We’re going to be moms,” Brittany said in Joined for Life: Abby & Brittany Turn 16 in 2006. “We haven’t thought about how being moms is going to work yet.”

Abby and Brittany are dicephalic parapagus twins, which means they share one torso to which their two heads are joined, and they also share one pair of legs.

Abby, who is on the right side of the body, controls the right arm and leg, and Brittany has control over the left limbs. Conjoined twins are very rare, but the Hensen sisters are even more unusual because they are really pretty symmetrical compared to other conjoined twins.

They have always been really candid about their unique shared lives, and recently posted a video on their TikTok page, which saw a doctor explain how their joined anatomy actually works.

“Abby and Brittany Hensel’s anatomy is a remarkable blend of shared and individual organs and tissues,” the video they shared by molecular biologist Hashem Al-Ghaili explained, “The twins each have their own distinct upper body systems. Abby and Brittany have two heads, two brains, two spinal cords, and two hearts, which are part of a shared circulatory system.”

Despite having the same blood circulation system, their brains and spinal cords are their own, which means they have to work in tight-knit coordination to carry things, get places, or drive a car.

When they were children, their parents were offered the possibility of separation surgery, but they turned it down, because it was unlikely that both their daughters would have survived.

Ryan Thomas breaks down holding a pigeon he believes is his reincarnated father

Ryan Thomas has an emotional reunion with a pigeon he believes to be the reincarnation of a loved one and consults Psychic Sally for advice on connecting with the bird

WARNING TAKEN WITHOUT PERMISSION
Ryan Thomas enjoyed an emotional reunion with a carrier pigeon that he believes to be the reincarnated spirit of his late father Dougie.

The actor’s dad Dougie James died in 2020 aged 72 – a year after he appeared alongside his sons in the ITV docuseries, Mancs In Mumbai, where they explored their heritage.

Now, Ryan has claimed Dougie has returned in the form of a bird, revealing the feathered friend has paid several visits to them in recent days.

Ryan Thomas took to Instagram to share his newfound connection with a carrier pigeon and was seen breaking down as he cradled the bird – which he believes is the reincarnated spirit of his late father, Dougie James.

The actor lost his father in 2020, but Ryan believes Dougie may have returned, as the same pigeon has visited him over the past few days.

On Tuesday night (2 September), Ryan, 41, hopped on to Instagram to explain his beliefs. The Coronation Street star shared how the same bird had visited them several times, and tried to get in the house when he wasn’t home.

“You are not going to believe this,” he said. “I’ve gone out with the kids all day today. Lucy’s [Mecklenburgh] been at home. She calls me at 5 o’clock and she says, ‘I could hear tap tap tap tap tap at the back window.’ I said no, please tell me you’re lying.

“And she sends me a video of my dad. My dad came back. He was trying to fly into the windows, try and get in.”

Ryan went on to share a picture he took of Dougie/the pigeon and set the snap to one of his dad’s songs, Still, and captioned the post: “Don’t know what’s going on here but I’m so connected to him.” He went on to joke that the bird’s markings looked very similar to his dad’s moustache.

Later, he was seen calling Psychic Sally Morgan for advice. When asked if the pigeon could be Dougie, she responded with a strong yes.

Lucy Mecklenburgh, Ryan’s fiancée, also shared her thoughts on Instagram and explained how the bird’s return was even more surprising as they’d driven five hours from their Essex home to return the pigeon to its owner in Manchester just the day before.

“We spent five hours in a car with a pigeon that when we arrived flew away anyway!”, she said. “We let him out the cage and then he flew away but now he’s back.”

She also hinted that she wasn’t completely happy with the turn of events, especially if the bird stayed. “I just don’t see myself as someone with a pigeon enclosure in my garden.”

Ryan, meanwhile, was overjoyed by his father’s return and broke down whilst holding him.

But his relationship with Dougie hasn’t always been so touching. The late musician was absent for most of Ryan’s childhood, splitting from his mother shortly after the birth of Ryan’s brothers, Emmerdale star Adam Thomas and former Love Islander Scott Thomas.

The brothers’ feelings about their father’s absence was explored in their show Mancs In Mumbai, where the family travelled to India to explore their roots. Adam explained how important the show was for them: “My dad left us for years when we were younger and then he came back into our lives and we never really talked about it.

Prince Harry blow as ‘crucial’ staff member quits role at much-loved project

Sally Davey, the CEO of Prince Harry’s eco-tourism organization Travalyst, has reportedly announced her resignation.

Prince Harry has been dealt another blow after a ‘crucial’ staff member at one of his beloved projects is quitting.

It has emerged that Sally Davey is stepping down from her role as chief executive of Travalyst – the non-profit eco-tourism organisation, which the Duke of Sussex helped to set up in 2019. In a statement, she said that she had “reached a point in my journey where I know I need to give more time back to my family, and to myself”.

She added, “I will always be grateful for your assistance, including as my confidant and guide during this personal decision to step back,” Harry’s mother said. I’m proud of the partnership we’ve created. And despite my resignation as CEO, I continue to be as dedicated to the cause of Travalyst.

A source told the Daily Mail that Sally’s departure would be a “huge blow” to Travalyst, as she had been “crucial in its development”.

London-based non-profit Travalyst was launched by Harry in 2019 when he and his wife Meghan Markle were still working royals. It aimed to make tourism and travel more eco-friendly and sustainable by bringing major travel firms such as TripAdvisor and Skyscanner together.

Despite admitting to taking private jets, Harry was the project’s face. Five years after launching Travalyst in Amsterdam, the prince said that “no one is perfect” and that “we can all do better” in addressing environmental issues.

He added: “I came here by commercial. I spend 99 per cent of my life travelling the world by commercial. Occasionally, there needs to be an opportunity based on a unique circumstance to ensure my family are safe, and it’s genuinely as simple as that.”

Sally’s departure comes as Sussexes appear to have a high staff turnover for their new endeavors.

When Josh Kettler, a seasoned public relations professional, quit his position just weeks after being reportedly hired to “guid him] Harry] through his next phase,” eyebrows were raised last year.

However, Mr. Kettler, who had previously served as Cognixion’s chief of staff and head of strategic partnerships, revealed what it was really like for Harry and Meghan and described him as “warmly welcomed” by both of them and their Archewell team in an interview with US Weekly.

They are hardworking and dedicated, he continued. It was fascinating to witness. Following a report in the Hollywood Reporter calling her “Duchess Difficult,” a number of former and current employees made his remarks as a result.

The company’s current Global Press Secretary, Ashley Hansen, stated that the Sussexes “couldn’t be more supportive,” while Ben Browning, who had been Archewell Productions’ head of content and left before his contract was signed, claimed.

She expressed her gratitude to the Duke and Duchess for her care and concern for her during her surgery and for showing her “the kind of concern and care a parent would express if her own child” while arranging for her recovery with flowers and presents.

Meanwhile, Mandana Dayani, the former president of Archewell, also spoke to US Weekly, saying: “Part of the profound injustice of having to speak publicly on this in light of these endless and damaging narratives is that so much of the kindness, mentorship, and support that Prince Harry and Meghan share with others happens quietly behind closed doors.”

This Morning’s Sian Welby says chic Very denim bouclé set is the ‘co-ord of dreams’

In a bouclé denim set from Very, which she refers to as the “co-ord of dreams,” Simon Welby demonstrates one of the most popular trends for the fall.

Denim has always been a wardrobe staple, but it’s getting a seriously new update this fall. The new season focuses on reworking this enduring material in fun, youthful ways, from deep indigo blue washes to trendy silhouettes and statement finishes.

Think relaxed cuts, embellished details, and pieces that are both polished and easy to wear all day long.

This week, our favorite TV hosts seem to be stomping on the denim hype. It’s obvious that this classic fabric is restraining with Alison Hammond’s boho-chic denim dress from last night’s Bake Off and Lorraine’s sculpting Karen Millen midi dress.

The latest host to try out the trend is Sian Welby, who sported a trendy boucle denim set on This Morning, hailing it her ‘co-ord of dreams’. The exact set includes the Denim Bouclé Jacket in Mid Wash, priced at £48, paired with the Denim Bouclé Wide Leg Jeans in Mid Wash, priced at £45.

Playing around with various textures, washes, and shapes is essential for denim to feel fresh and new this season.

The look is enhanced by Chanel-inspired boucle detailing while still maintaining the relaxed, cool-girl vibe that regular denim has.

To style this set, Sian kept it simple by keeping the jacket buttoned up to showcase the gorgeous gold button detailing and teamed it with a pair of white mules for a classy look.

The great thing about co-ords is that you can mix and match them with other pieces in your wardrobe to get the most bang for your buck. For a chic daytime look, you could easily swap out the jacket for a knitted rugby shirt and suede jacket, or swap out the jeans for a pair of tailored trousers and loafers for the office.
