Just a number of months after Irish bombshell Maura, 34, opened up about her strong feelings for Pete, 37, during her time in the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! jungle, the pair have now reportedly called it quits on their love story.
It’s said the pair have decided they’re “better off as friends” after a few clashes in their relationship following their respective stints on Strictly Come Dancing and I’m a Celebrity last year. Maura discussed their budding relationship during her time in the jungle but their romance was never made official.

The pair, who have known each other for six years, have been in an on-off relationship for several months now. Rumours the long-time pals had struck up a romance began last year when they were caught sharing a kiss during a Soho dinner in August. However, it looks as though it’s over before it’s even really begun.
A source claims to the MailOnline: “Maura and Pete have decided to call off their romance. There have been a few clashes, and it was eventually agreed they were better off as friends. Those closest to them know it’s been a very on and off relationship, which is why they were so resistant to go public in the first place. They remain close and share a deep connection.”
The split comes after Pete revealed the real reason why he hasn’t settled down yet. The reality TV star has been linked with a long line of ladies throughout his career, which first launched on TOWIE.
Speaking to fellow reality TV star Olivia Attwood on her Staying Relevant podcast back in December, Pete said he had struggled to keep long-term relationships. Explaining his feelings, Pete confessed: “I do feel like I’m now at a different stage of my life. I’m an older man now than when I was younger and a complete p***k.”

Olivia quickly said he had never had an issue finding himself a partner, but Pete interjected: “It’s keeping them.” As Olivia tried to coax more out of Pete, she said: “You don’t keep them out of your own choice. I feel like it’s because you for so long have not let anyone in. You like your own space, you like to be with your dogs at home and your beer, it’s quite a sad scene really actually.”
Pete agreed and joked: “It is a little bit of a sad existence.” However, he admitted he would be prepared to let in the right person now, saying: “I don’t want to die alone.”
Despite his confession, in September he revealed to The Times magazine that while he’d be open to the idea of marriage, he’s not “ready to wholeheartedly commit to a romantic relationship” at the moment as he doesn’t “fully understand” himself yet.
Pete’s has previously dated former TOWIE stars Megan McKenna, Shelby Tribble and Chloe Sims. Late last year, he was strongly linked to Irish star Maura. The pair were seen kissing in October at The Pride of Britain Awards. Despite the show seeming to confirm their romance, Maura went into the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here jungle claiming to be single.

Whispers of Kanye and Bianca’s secret wedding emerged in January 2023, but the nuptials were confirmed in October when their marriage certificate was leaked online.
In August 2023, the pair flew off to Italy for a holiday but caused an international stir when the fashion designer flashed his bottom to a crowd of onlookers while his wife crouched in front of him. The incident, which caught the producer in a compromising position, reportedly caused the duo to be banned by the Venetian boat rental company they used.
Later that year, reports circulated that Kanye had a selection of rules Bianca had to follow. This allegedly included choosing what she ate, when she worked out and what she wore. Bianca’s pal reportedly staged an intervention in November 2023 to urge her to “wake the f**k up”.
A source told the Mail: “She knows that she has shut out those close to her, and she is also starting to see through the smoky mirrors of her marriage.”
A year later, the couple allegedly broke up, and sources told TMZ that the Stronger rapper had told his buddies he wanted to be single again.
It seemed Bianca’s family had their concerns too, with a source telling Mail Online: “Bianca started to see the relationship in a new light when her friends and family voiced concerns about the way she was dressing in public and Kanye felt that she wasn’t as into him as she was in the beginning. There are no hard feelings, but she couldn’t ignore her family when they asked her to explain the stranger parts of their relationship.”

However, another insider branded the ‘split’ a publicity stunt, stating: “They knew that, by doing this, it would create some buzz and make them relevant as he tries to promote his new album. They both know that people are just over them and that her naked outfits are not enough to keep people interested.”
When October came around, the couple shut down any divorce rumours when they stepped out together in Japan. That month, Kanye told The Download podcast: “Number one b***. My b*** is the most influential b**** on the planet.”
Around that time, the father-of-four slammed allegations he’d hired a fixer to follow Bianca during their ‘split’ after the star was accused of sending investigators to ‘tail’ her abroad.
His representatives told Page Six many of the allegations, published by Rolling Stone, were “simply fantastical and false”.

However, following the news of their ‘split’ making frontpage news this week, Kayne took to Instagram to share a cryptic post which left fans baffled.
He shared a definition of the word “coercion.” The post was accompanied by a caption that said, “Is the coercion?” alongside a thoughtful emoji. In another shocking outburst, Kanye said he had “dominion” over his wife.
Within the expletive-filled Twitter rant, he said: “I HAVE DOMINION OVER MY WIFE. THIS AIN’T NO WOKE A** FEMINIST S***. SHE’S WITH A BILLIONAIRE, WHY WOULD SHE LISTEN TO ANY OF YOU DUMB*** BROKE B*****. PEOPLE SAY THE RED CARPET LOOK WAS HER DECISION. YES I DON’T MAKE HER DO NOTHING. SHE DOESN’T WANT TO, BUT SHE DEFINITELY WOULDN’T HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO IT WITHOUT MY APPROVAL.
“YOU STUPID A** WOKE PAWNS I HAVE NO RESPECT OR EMPATHY FOR ANYONE LIVING CAUSE NOBODY LIVING CAN F*** WITH ME BUT I DO LOVE SOME PEOPLE AND I GIVE THEM FAVOR.”
Overnight, Kanye’s representative, Milo Yiannopolous, insisted the pair were about to enjoy Valentine’s Day together.
He told The Independent: “Ye and Bianca are in Los Angeles, about to enjoy Valentine’s Day together. Announcements about their private life will come from them directly, not unsourced rumour in the tabloid press.”
Milo added: “Is this the fifth or is it the sixth time the press has wrongly reported that Ye and Bianca are separating? I’ve lost track.”
It comes after The Mail claimed the couple has verbally agreed that Bianca will receive a payment of $5 million at the end of the marriage. TMZ also reported both parties have approached divorce attorneys.
