Lennon Gallagher has opened up about a revelation he had after his father Liam Gallagher’s band Oasis split up more than a decade ago. The model’s comments come ahead of Liam and Noel Gallagher launching their reunion tour.
Ahead of the Oasis Live ’25 Tour, Lennon, 25 – whose parents are singer Liam and actor Patsy Kensit – spoke about his childhood in a new interview. It included recalling his dad dressing him and younger brother Gene Gallagher, whose mother is Nicole Appleton, in “mini-mod parkas”.
Lennon said: “I looked f***ing sick when Dad dressed Gene and me in mini-mod parkas for school.” He told the outlet that he “used to try and steal” Liam’s clothes, but went on to share that he “always had more luck” with Patsy’s wardrobe.
As the iconic band gears up for a reunion tour after a 15-year hiatus, Lennon also shared that he didn’t grasp “the scale” of Oasis until they disbanded in 2009. He said: “I don’t think I understood the scale of it all until the band split.”

He recalled people coming up to him at school and realising that the band were “massive”. Lennon told British Vogue: “People would all of a sudden come up to me in the playground and be like, ‘Oh, my God, have you heard about this?’ I just remember thinking, ‘Oh, s***… they were massive.”

Fans will finally see Oasis reunite on stage soon, kicking off this summer with shows at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium. The highly anticipated UK and Ireland tour will then be at Manchester’s Heaton Park, London’s Wembley Stadium, Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium and Dublin’s Croke Park, over the course of July, August and September.
There was an outrage after tickets for the UK and Ireland gigs went on sale last year, with some prices appearing to have jumped from £148 to £355. The controversy led to the Government and the UK’s competition watchdog pledging to examine the use of dynamic pricing.
The group is set to embark on a world tour that includes stops in Asia, South America, Australia and North America. The shows coincide with a film project helmed by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, timed with their much-anticipated reunion.

Rocketing to stardom following their signing with Creation Records in 1993, Oasis cemented their place in music history with their debut number one album Definitely Maybe, which dropped on August 29, 1994. The discography includes tracks like Champagne Supernova, Wonderwall, Supersonic and Live Forever.
Noel famously called it quits with the band in August 2009. He reportedly declared at the time that he “simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer”.

Exclusive: The Beatles’ songs will feature in a new stage version of the film hit Yesterday which is being turned into a musical
Lily James stars alongside Himesh Patel in the film version of ‘Yesterday’
The Beatles’ songs are heading to the West End after film supremos Danny Boyle and Richard Curtis decided to turn box office hit Yesterday into a musical.
The duo held an event this week in front of major investors, including Sir Cameron Mackintosh and Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, as they seek a theatre for the new show.
An insider revealed: “This has been kept under wraps for months but it is a huge opportunity, and the prospect of a Beatles musical is too big to miss.
“It’s easy to imagine that it could play for years and years.
“There was a performance this week to show the basics of what the production will be, and all the big players in London’s theatre world came along. It’s a no-brainer that any theatre will want to host it so there is likely to be a bit of a bidding war to secure it. These are the most famous songs of all time, so it could run and run.”

The musical will be a repurposed version of the 2019 film, written by Curtis and directed by Boyle. It starred Himesh Patel as a struggling musician who recovers from being hit by a bus, only to find he is the sole person who has ever heard of The Fab Four.
It will mean The Beatles’ extraordinary back catalogue will be performed on stage, with tracks including The Long And Winding Road, All You Need Is Love and Hey Jude all included, following in the footsteps of hugely successful theatre productions about similarly timeless megastars including Queen and Michael Jackson. The film also featured Lily James.
Speaking previously, Curtis said they would not have been able to make the film without the rights to the Beatles’ music.
He said: “I don’t think so. It’s been wonderful watching these 50 years of progress, and the way that their music has still lasted, and the way that when you go see school plays – you know, at the end of it, if it’s about the environment, everyone will sing ‘Here Comes the Sun’ or ‘Octopus’s Garden’ or something.

“My kid was in a school play about the Battle of Hastings, and at the end, William the Conqueror held Harold the King of England’s hand, and they both sang ‘We Can Work It Out’.

“I think The Beatles are more embedded in culture than anybody else – even though, personally, I couldn’t bear a world without Kate Bush. But I don’t think it’s the same film.”
On whether it was tough getting the rights to the songs and if he’d spoken to Paul McCartney or Ringo Starr, Richard explained: “No. We dealt a lot with Sony and with Apple.
Amanda and Clive Owen’s son, Reuben Owen, has come a long way from his TV debut as a youngster. The Mirror spoke to the 21-year-old about life in the Yorkshire Dales today and his rather unusual ideal date
Reuben Owen and Jessica Ellwood are far from your average 21-year-olds. Reuben, who like his eight siblings grew up on smash hit 5 documentary Our Yorkshire Farm, says his ideal date involves his digger and it seems he’s found his perfect match.
Jess hails from a farming family eight miles away from Ravenseat, the isolated farm Reuben grew up on with his shepherdess mother Amanda, 50, and her ex-husband Clive, 70. Viewers will meet her on new 5 series Reuben Owen: My Yorkshire Life, which focuses on his plant hire business. And it seems she is thoroughly on board when it comes to his passion for machinery.
“I could work with you all day in any sort of environment,” said the smitten Yorkshireman as he sat down for his first joint interview with his equally in love other half. “Last weekend we were felling trees. In terms of our hobbies, I think digging. Jess is very good on the digger. She’s better at driving a digger than I am milking cows.”

Talented Jess, who describes herself as a “proper homebird”, rides and drives horses for a hobby and by day she works on her family’s beef and dairy farm, milking 90 cows and looking after a herd of 15 Belted Galloway cows and 350 sheep on the fells. “I’ve loved animals since I was small,” she said.
“I always knew what I wanted to do. At my school’s careers evening I walked in, put my name down for agricultural college and walked out.”

The couple met by chance at the night do of the Westmorland County Show, known locally as the Kendal Show, an annual event celebrating agricultural life across the border in Cumbria. “I was working on Stainmore (an area on the Yorkshire/Cumbria border) with one of my mates on the digger and he asked me if I fancied coming to the show’s night do,” said Reuben.
“I turned up and somehow managed to get talking to Jess and it went from there. It’s the biggest stroke of luck ever – I never really went to show night dos, it was just by chance I ended up at one.
“We got talking about sheep and cows, I managed to pretend I knew something about cows, she probably thought I was talking utter rubbish. We just got talking and never really stopped.” “He’s very handsome and we just got on really well, we clicked,” added Jess. “We have similar interests.”
Eight months on, to maximise the time the busy young couple are able to spend together, Reuben helps Jess complete milking at her farm and in return she helps him at the quarry. “I still do a little bit on my family’s farm but now my brothers have gotten older they do the main bulk of the farming and I concentrate on the digging and groundwork,” he said, of his famous family abode which is home to around 1,100 sheep. “But recently I’ve found myself doing a lot more farmwork…”
“Jess is absolutely gorgeous and great to be with, I love spending time with her whatever we’re doing,” added Reuben. “Her family are a lovely bunch, they’re great and look after me so well.”

The 21-year-old has previously appeared in Reuben: Life in the Dales and Beyond the Yorkshire Farm: Reuben & Clive. Viewers of the new series can expect to see the young businessman and his team, made up of pals Capper, Sonny and Tommy with brothers Miles and Sidney helping too, tackle a variety of jobs with their heavy machinery.
We will also witness Reuben trying a very old-fashioned pastime, Tug Of War, which is popular with young farmers. And while he displays some impressive brute strength, it doesn’t sound like this is an activity he’ll be repeating. “It took me a week to recover from that,” he laughed. “I felt like I’d been run over.”
Unsurprisingly, while many 21 year olds want a big party for their landmark birthdays, traditional Reuben had different ideas about how to celebrate his big day in November. “Jess and I were looking at my vintage tractors, which she doesn’t have a lot of faith in,” he said. “We went round and there were maybe eight in the shed. I told her what was wrong with them all and we decided we were going to drive seven of them from our house to fish and chips at Whitby.”
Reuben’s workmates, brothers and Jess joined him for the epic three day, 80-mile adventure, to the North Yorkshire coast, praying the vintage machines would hold up. “It was a really fun way to spend my 21st birthday and quite inexpensive,” he said.
“We had plenty of disasters along the way, I went up Sutton Bank and my tractor threw all its water out and overheated. We had to put a new head gasket on it in the car park, the engine on it had come to bits.
“We managed to find a gasket at a garage a few miles away and we resealed it between us. It was an adventure. We had cake on the beach.”

The machinery wizard’s immense knowledge comes mainly from his father Clive who like his hill-farmer mother Amanda remains on hand to advise him. “I’ve been through college and I don’t know anyone with the knowledge Reuben has,” said Jess. “He learned from such a young age.”
“I speak to a lot of young people and try to encourage them to have a go,” added Reuben. “I remember dad sitting me on the digger when I was really small. It’s nice to think we’re in a place with the business now where my brothers can be involved and make a few quid out of it. We’ve got a really good team of lads on with us.”
Reuben’s parents famously split up a few years ago, after 22 years of marriage. Amanda and Clive later reunited to co-parent their children – Raven, 23, Reuben, Miles, 18, Edith, 16, Violet, 14, Sidney, 13, Annas, 11, Clemmy, nine, and Nancy, eight – and recently teamed up for series two of Channel 4’s Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids, which sees them breathing new life into a derelict farmhouse.
Reuben has been on TV since he was six or seven – or as he puts it “so long ago now, I can hardly remember” – and says the cameras have never really made a difference to his life. “The hardest time of year is winter, when the ground gets soft and boggy and we’re always getting stuck and there’s a camera there,” he laughed. “We’re good friends with the crew and it seems to be whenever something goes wrong, there’s a camera.”
“Round here everyone just knows me as someone that’s always riding around in a battered pick up,” he added. “When you get a bit further afield, people tend to want selfies, it’s sweet. You don’t realise until you get away from here how many people watch it and enjoy the programme.”

Reuben may be one of nine siblings, with Jess in the middle of three sisters but both say a family as big as the Owens isn’t on the cards. “Not after Easter Sunday – we took my siblings and your younger sister to a classic fair and I don’t think I’ve ever been so stressed in my life,” he said.
“There were six kids, we picked up some more, their friends turned up and I was left with them all. I was so stressed, in the crowds of people. Given my attention span, I don’t want that many.”
In a series of tweets against the music industry giants, President Donald Trump insulted “obnoxious JERK” Bruce Springsteen and declared Taylor Swift “no longer HOT” on Air Force One Friday.
Trump and Springsteen are currently embroiled in a fight over their Middle Eastern diplomatic trip, which Trump recently returned from by telling a British concert audience was “corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous administration.”
The 78-year-old Republican responded by saying that the legendary rock star, who was given the nickname “the Boss,” is “Highly Overrated.”
Trump wrote in the protracted tirade, “Just a pushy, obnoxious JERK,” adding that he “never liked him, never liked his music, or his Radical Left Politics.”
This dried-out “peanut” of a rocker (his skin is completely atrophied) That’s just “standard fare,” so he needs to KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT until he returns to the country. We’ll all see how it turns out for him then!
Springsteen campaigned for Democratic president Joe Biden’s ultimately abandoned reelection campaign last year and is a vocal liberal critic of Donald Trump.

He stated to fans that “my home, the America I love, the America I’ve written about, that has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years,” while he was in Manchester on his “Land of Hope &, Dreams” tour on Wednesday.
Springsteen urged people to “raise their voices” and “let freedom ring” in opposition to authoritarianism.
Trump also praised Swift, who backed Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee for president in 2024.

The US president said in a separate post, “She’s no longer HOT,” she said, since I said, “I HATE Taylor Swift,'” in a post with no context.
He made an apparent reference to a post in September of last year when he declared, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT”!
As Bella Hadid is amongst the many stars currently at Cannes Film Festival, she’s also staying in the resort town’s luxurious Hotel Martinez, which has prices beginning from £2k per night

As Bella Hadid joins the flurry of A-listers attending Cannes Film Festival, the supermodel has shacked up at the five-star Hotel Martinez for the trip – which isn’t short of luxury amenities.
With prices for a room next week beginning from £2,000 per night for a Deluxe King Room and ranging up to £5,000 for a suite, this hotel isn’t easy on the bank account. But after paying a visit to the seven story Hyatt hotel, Mirror could see why it’s a hotspot for celebrities upon taking a look around.
Aside from its exterior, the Hotel Martinez is easily recognisable during Cannes Film Festival by the masses of people crowding outside, hoping to catch a glimpse of the rich and famous. With barriers in place to keep fans at bay, many spend hours waiting for Bella or fellow guests such as Eva Longoria and Heidi Klum to come or go.
The lavish hotel’s lobby is constantly bustling with photographers and famous faces
But once you get through the crowds, and security who will only let you in if you’re a guest or part of the film festival, the hotel is a haven for celebrities.
The lobby, which is filled with a royal blue rug against the white marbled floor, is abuzz with glam teams, photographers, security guards and assistants rushing designer garments back and forth.

As you walk in, the hotel’s more relaxed bar – Le Sud – is on your right, where you get full view of the front doors and watch all of the chaos unfold with a drink.
The hotel is filled with crowds of waiting fans daily during the festival as they hope to catch a glimpse of the A-list guests
But that drink won’t come cheap, with a glass of wine setting you back 15 euros at a minimum, while soft drinks aren’t on the cheap side either as a 7up or Coca Cola will be nine euros. However, it is a great spot for celeb spotting and for some casual dining.
Through the hotel you have the Martinez Bar, a more exclusive area where reservations cannot be made. Coming alive in the early hours, this is where you’re likely to have a lively drink and potentially bump into some celebs.
Not to mention the on-site fine dining restaurant, La Palme d’Or, which has been awarded one Michelin star. With two set menus, a meal here won’t be cheap, coming in at 200 euros per person for three courses and wine pairings, or 320 euros for five courses with wine pairings.
The hotel’s bar is perfect for people watching, but doesn’t come cheap
The hotel’s rooftop has been taken over by Chopard for the Cannes Film Festival, with the luxury jewellery brand hosting a number of invite-only events throughout the fortnight.
While the rooftop offers stunning views of the beach boulevard
After attending the Caroline’s Couture Chopard fashion show on the hotel’s top floor, we can confirm the rooftop is a highlight of the hotel. Boasting stunning views of the famous La Croisette promenade – especially at sunrise – the rooftop has an intimate bar area and outdoor seating to watch the world go by from a height.

While the prices may be hiked for the film festival, the hotel does come at a cheaper price for those not bothered about the celeb hustle and bustle, with rooms going down to around £700 per night later this summer.
New book says Liam Gallagher has patched things up with Noel and the pair may continue live tour well into 2026

A new Oasis book says Liam Gallagher was the peacemaker ahead of the reunion tour and whatever their past rows and public spats ultimately the Gallagher brothers “still really love each other”.
Liam and Noel will head out on the road in less than two months’ time in one of the most highly anticipated music tours the world has ever seen. Demand for tickets in the UK was unprecedented and the build up to the first show in Cardiff in July has begun amongst fans trying to guess the set list.
In The Fall and Rise of Oasis by PJ Harrison, the author quotes an industry insider from Oasis music label Creation discussing the reunion tour and the Gallaghers patching up their differences.
She said: “It doesn’t matter what the wives or the girlfriends say or what anyone else says. You will never understand the dynamic of those two boys. Ultimately, you do still really love each other.”
The insider also says Liam was the one that made peace with Noel in order for the reunion tour to happen: “He’s a great one for making, you know, peace. He’s the one that will make the peace and bring things back together with people.”
Liam has previously said he made the first move. Asked on X, formerly twitter, who called first him or Noel, Liam replied: “I called him but don’t tell anyone as I don’t want folk thinking I’m a soft lad and stuffs keep it between me n you cheers x.”

The reply laced with humour was typical of Liam’s responses on social media.
PJ Harrison managed bands who went on tour with Oasis so spent time on the road with them two decades ago.
He says towards the end of that time, a month before the band split up in 2009, Liam had moaned they were doing “the same f**kin’ show every night. It’s boring man.”
It was only weeks later that was no longer a problem as Noel quit the band and Liam would form Beady Eye and then have a solo career. Noel has also toured with his High Flying Birds band, but now the pair are back together.
Harrison suggests the band will continue to tour in 2026 and play major festivals if the brothers can “resist the urge to unpick old scars” this year.
Oasis are due to begin rehearsals for their tour this month, with Liam the last piece in the puzzle to join up ahead of a Summer of giant gigs. His vocals will be rested in some sessions, with his singing added into later rehearsal dates.
Liam and Noel are bringing in newcomer Joey Waronker on drums alongside more established former Oasis band members on guitars.
The full line up is expected to be Liam Gallagher, Noel Gallagher, Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Joey Waronker.
Noel and Liam will walk on stage for the first time together since the band split in 2009 on July 4 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.

The shows will also feature special guests Richard Ashcroft and Cast, who are friends up the band.
