EastEnders fans all spot the same thing as Sonia gives birth inside Queen Vic

During the live episode of EastEnders earlier this evening, viewers were quick to notice a mistake.

After many times before, the soap very bravely attempted to take on a live episode once more. Some gaffes over the years have certainly left fans amused, and tonight’s episode was no different. Sonia gave birth to Lauren Branning and her sister Bianca Jackson in a single moment.

She was only steps away from the dead body of the baby’s father, killer Reiss Colwell. The baby turned blue but thankfully, after being attended to, the baby began to cry. As the trio and the baby left the pub, the paramedics arrived right away. However, fans couldn’t help but notice how the baby looked on screen.

One even criticized the infant’s appearance as a doll. One user said on X: “sonia and that baby was the most ridiculous scene ever it looked so fake”, while another posted: “Sonia’s baby has tripled in size within 5 mins…” One amused viewer commented: “Why has Sonia’s baby aged 10 months in 15 seconds”. Another added: “Sonia’s baby looks like Mother Theresa”.

EastEnders
The baby appeared to be a doll, according to one witness.

In the second vote on Thursday night’s live episode of the BBC One soap, viewers voted for Sonia’s baby name Julia. Sitting in the back of an ambulance, Sonia told her baby: “So welcome to the world Julia, it’s all about to begin”.

The baby was named Toni in honor of Julia Smith and Tony Holland, the creators of EastEnders. Legend Anita Dobson, who reprised her role as the late Angie Watts on Wednesday night, made a shock cameo with it. Sharon Watts, Angie’s daughter, began to lose consciousness after being trapped upstairs in the pub, with the Walford resident hallucinating on her.

EastEnders fans are worried Sonia Fowler will be killed off in a tragic twist during the 40th anniversary
Fans of EastEnders are concerned that Sonia Fowler will perish in a tragic turn during the 40th anniversary (BBC, Barnes, and Kerry McCarron).

The famous person informed her that she was in no hurry to seek assistance and that she should start screaming. “You’re not giving up on us, are you Sharon”? Angie asked her. “Hello, darling! I’ve missed you so much”.

Angie responded, “I know, baby, and I wish I could just put my arms around you and give you a great big hug, but it’s not time for us to be together yet darling.”

When Sharon admitted that she’s scared, Angie replied: “We’re all scared aren’t we? Look at me, I’ve always had fear in my life. But you’ve got to keep fighting, Sharon”.

Sharon began calling for assistance as a result of an imaginary Angie’s words, and Grant rushed in to help her escape the burning building. Anita, age 75, was the last actress to make an appearance on EastEnders in 1988 as Angie, one of the original soap characters who had a role in some of the most famous EastEnders-related episodes.

Anita appeared on EastEnders: 40 Years on The Square earlier this week, stopping by the documentary that marks the soap’s birthday milestone. Up until the episode aired that evening, the return completely shocked viewers.

On BBC One and BBC iPlayer, EastEnders airs on Mondays through Thursdays at 7:30 PM. * Follow Mirror Celebs and TV on TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Threads.

Liam Payne’s pal Roger Nores’ torment trying to save him before moment ‘everything went wrong’

Liam Payne’s friend Roger Nores has said that he is “delighted” to be a “free man” after charges against him were dropped.

The US businessman, who attempted to assist Liam in becoming sober in the months leading up to his tragic death, was charged with negligent manslaughter after Liam’s death, but charges against him and two hotel employees from the hotel where he died have been dropped. It comes just days after Liam, who tragically passed away in Buenos Aires on October 16 after falling from a hotel balcony, was tragically killed.

Roger claimed that the charges had been dropped after hearing that they had been dropped: “I’m delighted to be a free man and innocent of all charges.” Liam was my friend, and I am so sorry for what happened, but as my legal team and I explained to the court very clearly, I had nothing to do with it, and I am not in any way responsible”.

(TOLGA AKMEN/AFP via Getty Images) Sadly, Liam passed away in October after falling from a third-floor hotel balcony.

Roger and Liam’s friendship began in 2020 after the pair met while at a party in London. Due to the timings, the pair reportedly didn’t see much of each other between 2020 and 2022 due to Covid-19 as Roger was mainly in Florida, though the pair predominantly kept in touch by phone.

Due to the long-distance nature of their friendship, Roger was reportedly unaware of Liam’s demons for years. However, in May 2024, the multimillionaire said he received a call from Liam’s manager, informing him that he’d reportedly overdosed in the UK. Speaking to MailOnline, he alleged that Liam’s father, Geoff, tried to have him sectioned for 90 days, though the Strip That Down singer “talked his way out after just three”.

After leaving hospital, Liam then reportedly turned to Roger for support. “He knew he needed help. I was employed in LA at the time. I said if he could get to Miami, I’d meet him there”, he said. That summer, Liam, alongside his girlfriend Kate Cassidy, moved to Florida where he was reportedly surrounded by a team of medical professionals.

According to Roger, Liam “did four months sober”. Roger was reportedly believing that he had turned the tables by recommending himself to the gym each day during this period. Then, Roger says, “everything went wrong”.

Roger was adamant about Liam going to the UK in August 2024, according to Roger. The singer’s team reportedly received an email from the businessman outlining his concern for Liam’s well-being while traveling. Unfortunately, Roger claims Liam allegedly relapsed while he was in the UK, but Roger claims that when he returned to Florida in September, he appeared to go sober once more.

The pair reconnected in Argentina the following month, and on October 16, Roger abruptly left Liam’s hotel lobby for the night before he passed away, it was around 4 o’clock. Around an hour later, Liam fell from the hotel’s third-floor balcony. A post-mortem examination ruled his cause of death as “multiple trauma” and “internal and external haemorrhage”.

Following Liam’s tragic passing, a source claimed that Roger was “not welcome” at the singer’s funeral in November. “Liam’s family wants Roger’s funeral to go smoothly, and at this time, there are strained opinions about him.” Although he and Liam shared a bond, he hasn’t been well-known in the eyes of Liam’s wider circle. Roger would say he resisted Liam, and others would say he was shoved, Roger said, but there is a narrative difference, they told The Sun.

“Liam and Roger had reconnected before his fateful trip to Argentina last month, which many people didn’t even know. Due to the ongoing investigation in Argentina, he’s not welcome at this week’s service”.

Roger has revealed his heartbreaking plans to travel to the UK and, finally, say his final farewells to his late friend with the removal of the charges against him. He told Rolling Stone: “Glad this is finally over. I’m happy to be able to meet my friend in the UK and say goodbye.

Sophie revealed to her fans in November that a name for her baby boy has been chosen and ready for him in advance of his arrival, and that it has a special significance because his late father helped her choose it before he passed away earlier this year. BBC EastEnders legend Adam Woodyatt admits co-star ‘shaken up’ after live mistake

A co-star was “shaken up” over a mistake in a live EastEnders scene, according to cast member Adam Woodyatt.

Adam, 56 – who plays Ian Beale on the BBC show – opened up about the experience in EastEnders at 40: Behind the Scenes, released yesterday. This week’s new special honors the soap’s 40th anniversary, along with a live episode that airs tonight.

However, the cast handled this live episode for the first time. The first one aired in 2010 for the 25th anniversary. The 30-year anniversary week in 2015 also featured “live elements” in three episodes before the final fully live installment.

One live performance from the most famous anniversary, which featured Jo Joyner, now 47, accidentally refer to Ian by the name of the actor who played him, caused a number of errors. Her character was heard asking Jane Beale (Laurie Brett): “How’s Adam”?

Reflecting on the mistake, Adam said in the newly-released special: “We all felt for Jo. You have to consider how she felt because it is always the case when someone mentions the live now. She can’t escape from it”.

(BBC)

He continued: “I remember she came into… cause we were all in different studios… and Jo’s come in and she’s… shaken up. Really, really shaken up. And we’re all sort of looking at her and going ‘ what’s the matter? what’s the matter? ‘ And she just went ‘ you’ll find out'”.

Anyone “could get it wrong” in a live episode, according to Adam, who was one of the original cast members of the 1985-launched show. He claimed that any of us could experience this, which would be under the pressure. Something might go wrong with the crew. We could get something wrong”.

Jo has herself spoken about the blunder herself in the past, as previously reported, including having told Radio Times once: “I’ve got a good sense of humour. But I couldn’t laugh about it until I’d gone out there the next night]for more live scenes]. I was aware that others would be watching to see if I had a problem.

She is also alleged to have told Gaby Roslin that she felt emotional following the error on her BBC London Radio show. She said: “There is no explanation as to how or why it happened, we couldn’t have known it better, we went over and over it, and I never got it wrong in rehearsals”. She said it was “like an out of body experience” and that she was “hyperventilating” shortly before taking on her next live scene.

Richard E. Grant reveals his father tried to shoot him at age 15 in horrifying attack

Richard E. Grant, a famous actor, has revealed details about a number of agonizing events from his early life, including how his drunk father once tried to shoot him while they were visiting at home when he was just 15 years old.

Speaking on Davina McCall’s Begin Again podcast, the Saltburn and Withnail &amp, I star, 67, reflected on his difficult upbringing, sharing that his father, who struggled with alcoholism, pulled a gun on him when he was a teenager but the trigger faltered. He went into great detail about how his parents’ divorce affected him and how complicated his relationship with his mother, who passed away in 2023, was.

When I was 15 and I had all of my Scotch down the sink, he told Davina, “He tried to shoot me.” Describing the terrifying moment, he recalled: “As I was halfway through]pouring] the eleventh bottle, I felt a gun at the back of my head. I ducked, it went off, and I ran into the garden. He found me and said, ‘ I’m going to blow your brains out. ‘ I told him, ‘ Go on, do it, just get this over with. ‘”

Explaining what happened, Richard said that his father pulled the trigger but missed. It wavered, and I fell to the ground and fled as a result of his drunken behavior.

Richard E. Grant spoke with Davina McCall in “Begin Again with Davina McCall.”

The actor also made an emotional comment about his father’s descent into alcoholism and his parents’ divorce. “The person I knew and loved by day outweighed the monster he turned into when he downed a bottle of Johnnie Walker,” he said. “Even though he became an alcoholic after my mother left. At nine o’clock at night, he’d have this personality switch and he’d become unrecognisable”.

Another heartbreaking memory is that of Grant’s untold encounter with his father’s best friend, who was unintentionally his mother. He revealed that my mother and my father’s best friend were stopped on the way home from a cricket game in the front seat. And when I woke up, the lights weren’t on, and I was aware that I wasn’t home, I was asleep in the back seat. However, the car had a rhythmic shift that wasn’t related to the engine.

My mom and my dad’s best friend were having a fight in the front seat when I gingerly glanced over the front seat. I knew that I was seeing something that I shouldn’t – I didn’t really understand what they were doing. I simply snoozed and appeared to be asleep.

Despite his difficult childhood, Grant has remained determined to live with optimism. He annihilated his 42nd wedding anniversary from Swaziland to the UK last year.

While hosting the BAFTAs in 2023 eagle-eyed viewers were left wondering why Richard chose to wear two watches on his wrists, and as it turns out, it’s all to do with his dual-citizenship. The second watch, which his late father gave him, is permanently set to Swaziland time, while the first is set to Greenwich Meantime (GMT).

The actor’s father, Henrik Esterhuysen, sadly passed away from lung cancer at the age of 52 when he was 24. Richard once recalled his father’s tragic passing, saying, “It is a recurring regret that he never lived to see me succeed beyond my studies and drama.”

In 2023 Richard revealed his mother, Leonne Esterhuysen, had passed away at the age of 93. As he shared the news on social media, the 66-year-old actor, who was nominated for an Oscar, hailed the woman who “gifted him the gift of life.” Richard, who lost his beloved wife to cancer in 2021, reflected on the “incredibly complicated relationship” he had with his late mother and the “very brief email” she sent him while grieving his late wife.

All we know about Liam Payne’s tragic final hours from ‘night with prostitutes’ to drugs relapse

Following the dismissal of charges against his friend and two hotel employees, new information has emerged about Liam Payne’s final moments before his fatal fall.

Roger Nores, Esteban Grassi, and Gilda Martin, the three people charged in an earlier decision by appeal court judges in Argentina. However, Braian Nahuel Paiz, 24, and Ezequiel David Pereyra, 21, both who were accused of selling cocaine before his death, are still imprisoned despite being told they face a probable trial and a prosecution.

The One Direction star, 31, sadly died after falling from the third floor of the Casa Sur Palermo hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 16. A post-mortem examination determined the singer’s cause of death as being “multiple trauma” and “internal and external haemorrhage” following the fall.

In a statement released by the judge and the public prosecutor, Liam’s death was referred to as “foreseeable.” The Mirror examines everything that is known about Liam’s worrying spiral before the tragedy strikes as well as what actually transpired in the doomed hotel room.

Night out with sexy people.

According to a 35-page court decision prepared by judges in Argentina, Liam allegedly contacted two women via a sex worker website and invited them to his hotel room hours before his death. The women allegedly arrived at 11.30 am on October 16 to find him “consuming something like crystal.”

After two-and-a-half hours in the room, he allegedly smashed a TV and ordered them to leave. As per the publication, one of the women told investigators: “He]Payne] had… a small whiskey that he was drinking.

He asked us to buy drugs for him while consuming something like crystal with aluminum foil, but we had no luck because we don’t do that. We had sex there while we were there.

Substance struggles

White powder, believed to be cocaine was found in Liam's room
A search of Liam’s hotel room uncovered ‘ what appeared to be narcotics, alcohol, destroyed objects and furniture ‘

In his final months, Liam reportedly had stopped using drugs, but he appeared to have relapsed just before his passing. A toxicology report found traces of” alcohol, cocaine and prescription antidepressants “in Liam’s system, along with ‘ pink cocaine ‘ – a combination of crystal meth, ketamine and MDMA.

A search of Liam’s hotel room also uncovered” what appeared to be narcotics, alcohol, destroyed objects and furniture”, according to detectives. La Nacion and Clarin, the news outlets that purported to show photos from the room where Liam spent his final moments, confirmed them.

Smashed hotel room

Several hours after his death, Argentinian media reported images that purport to show the interior of the deluxe suite Liam had checked into. The photos, which show traces of a white powder, burned aluminum foil, and a smashed TV, were confirmed by news outlets at Liam’s room at the posh Hotel CasaSur Palermo, including La Nacion and Clarin.

The broken television had been left next to another empty glass that appeared to be champagne and had partially sunk. A white powder-covered swatch, pieces of aluminum foil, the remains of a burned candle, and the top of a beverage can were also clearly visible.

As they continued their investigations, prosecutors said Liam may have plunged from his balcony” in a state of semi or total unconsciousness “during a substance-induced psychotic episode. According to reports, describing the hotel room, one of the sex workers who claimed to have spent the night with Liam, told investigators:” Everything was disorganized, messy, there were aluminium foils lying around with drugs.. on the part of the sofa there were other burned aluminium foils… mess, clothes lying around.

If you didn’t get close and smell the alcohol on him, you didn’t realize that he had consumed so much, as I recall that he had a strong smell of alcohol but he looked good and appeared to be a happy man.

‘Desperation’

A woman, only known as Rebecca – who had a half-hour chat with Liam in the hotel lobby hours before his death – described him as “desperate” to be recognised. She claimed he announced himself, unprompted, shouting “I’m Liam”, to a queue of guests waiting for the lift. She claimed that Liam’s laptop was returned to the lobby.

Surmising that he’d spotted an email that “upset” him, Rebecca said: “Suddenly he took the computer, shouted ‘ f**k this s**t mate! ‘ and began “blanking” the computer against the wall” The singer’s “out of place” behaviour “shocked” onlookers in the “high-end” hotel, but concerned, Rebecca said she asked him if he was OK.

She explained: “But he just kind of grunted. Then he said ‘ I used to be in a boyband. That’s why I’m so f**ked up'”. Shocked at his admission, she saw him get back in the lift, before a “British guy” apologised to the group on “his behalf”. She added that while staff helped him enter the lift, he fell over when he returned to the lobby.

Concern from staff

The hotel’s chief receptionist claimed Liam had been asked for alcohol on numerous occasions and that he had been given a list of places to get some cocaine. Then allegedly insulted a staff member who claimed they couldn’t help him. According to court documents, Liam was left “unable to stand” following his “consumption of various substances”.

Later, hotel staff reportedly locked Liam up in his room with the help of a master key before removing a mirror outside his door out of concern that he might harm it. A hotel employee called 911 just before the singer was in a room with a balcony and expressed concern that he might try to escape.

The caller said: “I don’t know if the guest’s life is in danger. We’re concerned that he might do something because the room has a balcony. Just send an ambulance, only an ambulance”.

‘ Escape route ‘

Liam apparently attempted an escape route through the balcony after the hotel staff left him alone, leading to his tragic fall. When he was removed from the lobby, a bag was discovered strapped over his shoulder, which was not present.

Evidence suggests that Liam may have planned his descent in stages. A second-floor hotel guest discovered a leather bag containing pills, a bottle of Jack Daniel’s, and a note labelled ‘ for Liam ‘ on their balcony. According to investigators, the singer’s attempted escape was carried out on the second floor, where it was recorded rather than the bag that was found next to his body.

Additionally, officials said that “he did not know what he was doing and could not understand it,” and that he was not in a state of ignorance. According to a report, the father-of-one, whose tragic death has been linked to a substance-induced “psychotic episode”, “did not adopt a reflexive posture to protect himself in the fall, so that, for the moment, it can be inferred that he may have fallen in a state of semi- or total unconsciousness”.

Hotel room fears

Sources close to Liam’s who have been a part of the band’s history tell the US website TMZ that they have experienced a recurring aversion to being confined in hotel rooms. Speaking on The Diary of a CEO podcast in 2021, Liam said: “My dad said it from day one – lonely hotel rooms, man – getting locked in that room is not fun when you’ve been exposed”.

Due to worries about potential drug use, the singer’s dislike of such circumstances reportedly led to at least one other balcony escape attempt in September. During that incident, the 31-year-old is alleged to have attempted to escape through a balcony, using a garden hose to shimmy to the ground.

fans and hordes in videos

During his Argentina trip, Liam’s fans shared haunting videos of his final days and hours. The star appears shaky on his feet as he tells well-wishers, “That was a really big squeeze,” as one TikTok video shows him meeting well-wishers outside of his hotel. In another, he poses for a picture before raising his eyebrows and gazing down.

In a different clip, Liam asks the audience for a “pen” because he doesn’t have one while signing an autograph for a woman. When they reply ‘ lapicera ‘ in Spanish, he jokes: “I feel like you’re trying to make me say something rude”. But away from the laughter, there are concerns Liam wasn’t in a good headspace and was spiralling out of control.

Difficult blows

In the weeks leading up to his death, those close to him raised the alarm before the tragedy. His own publicist resigned, leaving him without any guidance during a difficult time, and Universal Music, his record label, reportedly dropped him.

According to the Liam was axed by the record label in the days preceding his death, with a source telling the publication: “Liam’s advance was massive and he didn’t recoup]it]. Out of all of the boys, Liam was on the wrong path musically”. His second album’s release allegedly delayed.

A source claimed eight-year-long music career may have felt like it was “crumbling” at the end, and it “must have absolutely devastated him”. It happened as his ex-girlfriend Maya Henry began a legal fight with Liam after she accused him of calling her repeatedly.
