Bombshell claim John Travolta’s son is Elvis Presley’s ‘secret great-grandchild’

Bombshell new legal filings in £37 million lawsuit allege Grease star John Travolta’s youngest son was conceived using an egg donated by Elvis Presley’s granddaughter, Riley Keough

Elvis Presley may have an unacknowledged great-grandchild amid allegations that John Travolta’s youngest son was conceived using an egg donated by the King’s granddaughter, Riley Keough. The bombshell claims emerged in a legal filing lodged in Los Angeles.

The allegations centred on the parentage of the Grease star’s youngest son, Ben, appear in a $50 million (£37 million) breach-of-contract lawsuit brought by Priscilla Presley ’s former business associates, Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko, against her son, Navarone Garibaldi Garcia. The filing, lodged on 16 December, alleges that Lisa Marie Presley donated eggs so actor Travolta and his late wife Kelly Preston could “get pregnant”.

Further claims are that her daughter, actress Riley Keough, is the biological mother of the couple’s son Ben, now 15. The claims remain entirely unproven and are presented solely within the plaintiffs’ lawsuit.

According to the complaint, family tensions intensified immediately after Lisa Marie’s death in 2023. It states that “the entire Presley family clamoured for control of the estate and for pay-outs, using plaintiffs Kruse and Fialko as both negotiators and mediators”, with Lisa Marie’s ex-husband, Michael Lockwood, among those involved. Lockwood, 61, is alleged to have told Kruse “that John Travolta’s wife, Kelly Preston, had been unable to bear her own children, and Travolta and Presley previously used Lisa Marie’s eggs to get pregnant”.

The filing does not assert that Lisa Marie’s eggs produced a child. The complaint further claims that Lockwood said the Travoltas approached the Presley family again in 2010, one year after their son Jett died following a seizure.

It continues: “Lockwood claimed that Travolta needed to help salvage his career amid claims of sexual assault against other men, which threatened his career as a leading man.” The document adds: “Lockwood claimed that Travolta said he no longer wanted to use Lisa Marie’s eggs because they did not want ‘eggs with heroin’ on them,” referring to her opioid addiction, “and they orchestrated a deal, where Riley Keough gave her eggs to Travolta, so that Kelly could give birth to their son, Ben Travolta.”

Ben was born in November 2010. Preston died in 2020 after a long battle with breast cancer. The filing alleges that Riley Keough was paid modestly for the alleged arrangement. Lockwood is said to have claimed she “was given an old Jaguar and paid between $10,000 – $20,000 for the deal.”

The complaint also states that the agreement “required a ‘sign off’ from the Church of Scientology, which heavily involved Priscilla’s oversight.” According to the plaintiffs, Lockwood wanted them to use the allegations “to orchestrate a settlement for him and his daughters.”

But when Garcia allegedly learned the information might be used, the filing claims he “threw a tantrum, demanding that Plaintiffs keep Riley’s and Travolta’s son out of the press, since Priscilla promised him that he would be the only male musician in the family and would now be the ‘king.’” The document further claims he “demanded a multi-million-dollar settlement.”

The Travolta family is based in Ocala, Florida. Priscilla Presley, who is countersuing Kruse and Fialko for fraud and elder abuse, has denied all allegations against her.

Her lawyer, Marty Singer, said that the “shameful, ridiculous, salacious and meritless” claims are “nothing more than a sad and vicious attempt to falsely tarnish the reputation of an 80-year-old woman.” Ben Travolta’s name now appears in the newly amended complaint. In a statement issued by Kruse and Fialko’s lawyer, Jordan Matthews, he defended the filing, saying: “Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko are heartbroken that they have been forced to file their most recent amended complaint.

Nick Reiner update as he appears in court charged with murdering parents

Nick Reiner has appeared in court for the first time since he was arrested in connection with the murder of his parents, Rob and Michele Reiner, in Los Angeles at the weekend

Nick Reiner has appeared in court for the first time. The 32-year-old writer has been charged with first degree murder of his parents, Rob and Michele Reiner.

The couple were found dead in their LA home on Sunday, with their throats said to have been slit. Hours later, Nick was arrested.

Their son waived his right to enter a plea at his arraignment hearing. He appeared with no shirt and in shackles. He appeared to be wearing what looked like a suicide prevention vest.

During the hearing, Nick said only three words and the judge prevented him from being filmed. The next hearing for Nick has now been set for 7 January. There, he may enter a plea.

Outside of the LA court, Nick’s lawyer Alan Jackson said there were “complex and serious issues” at play. He asked people not to “rush to judgement” and said nothing substantive had happened in the case today.

Following proceedings, Rob and Michele’s children Jake and Romy made their first public statement, which was shared with US media via a family spokesperson. They said in the joint statement: “Words cannot even begin to describe the unimaginable pain we are experiencing every moment of the day.

“The horrific and devastating loss of our parents, Rob and Michele Reiner, is something that no one should ever experience. They weren’t just our parents; they were our best friends.”

They continued: “We are grateful for the outpouring of condolences, kindness, and support we have received not only from family and friends but people from all walks of life. We now ask for respect and privacy, for speculation to be tempered with compassion and humanity, and for our parents to be remembered for the incredible lives they lived and the love they gave.”

Romy is believed to be the person who found her father dead. She had allegedly received a call from the couple’s masseuse, who could not get in touch with them. When she arrived at the house, she found her father dead.

It’s said she hadn’t been aware her mum was also home. It’s claimed a paramedic told Romy that her mother had also died too.

The pair’s joint statement echoed Rob’s eldest daughter, who broke her silence earlier in the week. Tracy, 61, who was adopted by Rob during his marriage to Penny Marshall, told NBC News: “I came from the greatest family ever. I don’t know what to say. I’m in shock.”

LA Police Department Chief Jim McDonnell said in a press conference about the pair’s deaths: “Upon entering the residence, they discovered the bodies of Mr. And Mrs. Reiner. Detectives from our robbery homicide division homicide special section immediately initiated a comprehensive investigation.

“This case is heartbreaking and deeply personal, not only for the Reiner family and their loved ones, but for our entire city. We extend our deepest condolences to all of those who are affected by this tragedy.”

Made in Chelsea star Lonan O’Herlihy sues childhood father figure’s widow for £5m

After missing out on a will almost seven years ago, Made In Chelsea star Lonan O’Herlihy has filed a lawsuit against the widow of the man who was his father figure when he was a child.

Made In Chelsea star Lonan O’Herlihy has sued the widow of the man who was his father figure during his childhood. The personal trainer, 36, who was known as the Posh PT during his time on the hit show, was left out of Hugh Taylor’s will.

The property dealer left a £38million estate, which includes a World War II Hawker Hurricane aircraft, classic cars and high-end properties, following his death in 2019, the majority of which was bequeathed to his wife Jennifer Taylor. Prior to his marriage to Ms Taylor, Hugh was in a ‘committed relationship’ with O’Herlihy’s mother from 1995 until 2003.

Lonan, who starred on Made In Chelsea alongside regulars like Spencer Matthews and Binky Felstead, is now suing Ms Taylor for £5 million and told the court: “Hugh was a father to me, and I was a son to him.”

The TV star’s lawyer claimed that Taylor was “parental responsibility” to him while his mother and he were together, and that Lonan continued to support him financially until his early 20s. He continued, “He gave Lonan every reason to expect continued support in his real estate career.” Those assurances helped Linan make important life decisions, including his university studies.

Hugh’s considerable wealth was primarily derived from real estate transactions. He and Lonan frequently spoke about their business interests and agreed that Lonan would take over control of various empire divisions with an eye toward the inheritance of the whole. Additionally, it’s claimed that Ms. Taylor prevented Lonan from attending the funeral and that he began to feel “cut out” of his life.

Taylor’s attorney, Richard Wilson KC, argued that the claim was nothing less than “opportunistic.”

He said: “This is not a claim for reasonable provision for his maintenance,’ he continued. ‘It is his wish list of greed – houses, cars, watches, this is a world away from reasonable provision. His approach seems to be: this is a large estate, let’s give Mr O’Herlihy a big chunk of it.

The claimant’s assertion is genuinely bizarre. It would be impossible for him to be awarded for his maintenance capital assets, which include two properties, a classic car, a luxurious watch, and a painting, upon a request for reasonable financial provision. These are unrelated to the claimant’s payment of his daily expenses. The claim would be pointless because, in any case, the claimant has no need for maintenance, even if he were to make more modest demands.

The claimant is 36 years old, a graduate of a university, well-educated, self-employed, earns about £70 000 per year after taxes, has no dependents, and has good prospects for a future in terms of income. Even if the claimant’s claim that he was a “child of the family” for a while came to an end when the deceased and Mrs. O’Herlihy divorced in 2002.

Following a significant delay and after the estate has been divided, it is also well-out of time. And the claimant has no compelling reason to have delayed bringing it. The hearing is now going on.

‘Millions of fans have watched me in Emmerdale for 23 years but my kids refuse to tune in’

Emmerdale star Charlotte Bellamy reveals how her character Laurel’s romance with drug dealer Ray is a car crash waiting to happen .

Blinded by love, widow Laurel Thomas is convinced Emmerdale’s arch villain Ray Walters is the one. Oblivious to his drug dealing, hostage taking and modern slavery, she is convinced he is a total sweetheart.

Even actress Charlotte Bellamy, who has played Laurel for 23 years, is aghast at her naivety. Like the viewers, she knows it’s a question of when, rather than if she discovers the depths of Ray’s depravity.

Charlotte, 52, who has been frantically leafing through her scripts looking for answers, says: “I have been on the edge of my seat! I have literally been getting the script and going ‘oh my goodness, what will happen? Will this last?’

“This storyline is brilliant because the audience has been hating Ray’s character, but now it is starting to get clever. Suddenly, they are seeing a different side. He’s a lost soul and I could be wrong, but I predict the audience will start rooting for him.

“This is because he is very charming to Laurel and he is genuinely falling in love with her. He loves the warmth, tenderness and security that her life offers him. It’s mutual though. She is falling for a version of him she thinks is real. It’s a case of true love.”

But looming disaster threatens the love story between Laurel and Ray, according to Charlotte.

She continues: “Of all the time I have been here – and I have been here 23 years now – I think Ray’s mother, Celia, is one of the worst villains we have ever had.”

“It’s on another level and this love story is like waiting for a car crash to happen. The audience want the best for Laurel, but she keeps having heartbreak.”

“Joe (Absolom) is brilliant playing Ray. He is so believable and Celia goes to another level once she realises he is in love.”

In real life, Charlotte is happily married to Mungo Denison, a former TV producer, who now works in company management. Together since she was 18, she says she has never been gaslit, or lied to – like Laurel.

She laughs: “Well I bl**dy hope not!”

Charlotte, who has three children – Sunnie, 21, Herbie, 18, and Boo, 16, with Mungo – relishes her happy homelife, where she can enjoy a peaceful time away from her hectic work schedule.

Looking forward to Christmas, she says: “We will be having all the family round, lots of food and I will do lots of cooking.”

“It is nice when everyone sits down together and all the grandparents come.”

But there will be no post-dinner charades, instead, her family will be playing the racket game padel.

“We are going to have a padel tournament,” she continues. “We all love it. My mother-in-law is 85, but she is on the tennis court every day and my husband and kids play it a lot, too. It will be lots of fun.”

And her children will not be tuning in to watch their mum on Emmerdale on Christmas Day.

She says: “Oh gosh, no, they don’t watch me in the soap!

“I’ve been in it that long and it’s all they have known.

“Technically, they have all been in Emmerdale, given I worked while I was pregnant. But, apart from once when my eldest spotted my picture on a Sky TV guide screen, it’s never been on their radar.

“What’s great now is that younger people are watching the soap on YouTube. Funny skits and edits are also making it on to TikTok. It’s brilliant that Emmerdale can now be accessed on these platforms.”

While Charlotte is a better judge of men, she does share some of Laurel’s personality traits – as they are both very maternal and warm.

Charlotte – who joined the soap in 2002 – says never in a million years did she ever expect to still be here. It’s the reason why, Charlotte confides, she remains so appreciative.

“It’s lovely playing someone so wholesome,” she admits. “Laurel is an alcoholic, an addict and she isn’t perfect, but she does deserve to find happiness, which is why she is so besotted with Ray.

“But I am so appreciative of the storylines, I am given and to still be part of the soap. “Sometimes when you work with new people like Joe and Jaye Griffiths, who plays Celia, you see it through their eyes for the first time.”

She says the soap newcomers have made her appreciate the beauty of the Emmerdale village Christmas lights and the joy of eating lunch together as a cast. She says: “I feel lucky.”

She also feels very fortunate to have played such a brilliant character for so long – something she never takes for granted.

“A tree could fall on Laurel at the bus stop at any time,” she explains. “It’s so important to remember this. We are just little pawns and it will always roll on.”

As for her latest storyline, Charlotte says viewers will see them grow closer and enjoy a wonderful Christmas Day together.

“They both really fall for each other,” she says. “On Christmas Day, they play family charades.”

But, never having known a close family, Ray doesn’t even know how to play. Seeing the couple falling deeply in love, Charlotte says: “It is total euphoria.”

She won’t divulge when Laurel will find out about Ray’s secret life as a drug dealer, but praises Joe for his convincing performance, as the villain shows his softer side.

“We’ve been so lucky to have Joe come to Emmerdale,” she says. “He works, works, works and it’s been so lovely to work with him.”

Charlotte fears that discovering Ray’s true wickedness will be an insurmountable blow for her character. “I think she will not be able to comprehend it,” she says. “If you are with someone and you feel like you are totally gaslit, your mind goes into complete chaos. It is like being lied to at the highest level. And then the fact Rhona, Marlon and April knew too.

“How will it unfold? How will she find out? These are questions I hope the audience will start to ask too. But they will also, I think, want him to be saved. He wants to redeem himself and that is what is so clever about the scripts.”

As well as playing out Laurel’s doomed love affair, Charlotte is looking forward to the forthcoming Corriedale episode in January – when there will be a crossover between Coronation Street and Emmerdale.

She says of Emmerdale: “There are a lot of characters who have a lot of history.

“People are really invested in them and the way the stories are weaved in is like a jigsaw.

“But what I love about Emmerdale is the fact it is always trying to find new ways of telling stories. I really do believe there is a place for a soap and the great thing about Emmerdale is it is always asking ‘how can we move with the times?’”.
