Sol de Janeiro Limited Edition Summer Mist Trio
This top-selling Sol de Janeiro Limited Edition Summer Mist Trio is now 40% off(Image: Lookfantastic)

The Sol de Janeiro Summer Mist Trio is a limited-edition set characterised by Brazilian tropic blends, set to transport your senses to sunshine-drenched shores.

The set includes the Limited Edition Agua Mistica Perfume Mist (90ml), inspired by the crystal-clear waters of Prainha Beach. This body spray invigorates with refreshing and crisp notes of neroli water, tangerine, peony, and a salty skin accord. This fragrance would normally cost £24 when bought alone from Cult Beauty.

Many 5-star reviews pour in for this scent, with one buyer beaming: “I tend to buy at least 2 of the summer SDJ mists each year, last year I got all 3 and loved them. This year, I got the pink and green first as they sounded most like my kind of thing, but I got curious about this one, so I eventually got it. So glad I did! It’s like the fizziness, most thirst-quenching Orangina you’ve ever had in your life! Really bright, vibrant and orange-y, but in a slightly sweet and very sparkling way, I absolutely love it. It’s not overly salty but just feels extremely refreshing and crisp. Not like any of the other mists at all. So glad I got this one.”

And another chiming in: “I’ve tried most of the Sols, this one is nothing like the rest of them, it’s not your usual sweet vanilla/coconut fragrance. This is pure freshness, shower fresh, not too sweet, I’m not getting any orange that others mentioned, more of an aquatic ozone fragrance. Reminds me a lot of D&G Light Blue & also the long-discontinued Tommy Summer. It’s the most grown-up of the Sols & I love it. The only negative is less longevity than the others.”

Elsewhere in the bundle is the Limited Edition Flor Mistica Perfume Mist (90ml), touted as bursting with notes of orange blossom, flamingo flower, and Brazilian gardenia. This mist delivers a playful floral spritz. Layered with fresh coconut water and lush palm leaf, the formula finishes with a veil of golden musk for a long-lasting trail. This scent also sells for £24 from ASOS.

The third perfume in the trio is the Limited Edition Danca Mistica Perfume Mist (90ml). This captivating gourmand scent opens with sweet purple fig, before lily of the valley leads you to a hypnotic trail of champagne accord. Creamy vanilla and rich sandalwood warm on the skin, with flickers of vibrant amber for a sun-kissed finish to the golden hour-inspired fragrance. You can pick this mist up on its own for £24 at Boots.

The show follows the trio as they run an internet sketch show, which unexpectedly gains popularity.

Although it came to an end almost 13 years ago, the leading actors have remained friends.

Miranda recently reflected on their relationships, telling People: “I’ll always love them [Jennette and Nathan], and they’ll always be family to me, because we grew up together for so many years.”

Miranda recalled the traumatising ordeal in 2024, in the wake of Netflix’s Baby Reindeer becoming a trending topic.

In a chat with Bustle, she explained that the incident left her avoiding her own home. Instead, she would often visit her parents’ house.

“I just don’t feel super safe in that house. For two years after it happened, I wouldn’t really stay there.”

“Then I got into a relationship and because that person was there with me, I was less scared. But I don’t really like being there on my own that much,” she added.

At the time of the interview, the Netflix star confessed that she was still on the hunt for a house she could feel safe in.

Yu Menglong dead: Netflix’s Eternal Love actor dies at 37 after ‘falling from building’

Chinese actor and singer Yu Menglong has died at the age of 37, leaving fans across Asia mourning the sudden loss of one of the country’s most recognisable television stars.

Yu, who became a household name thanks to his role in the fantasy romance Eternal Love – a drama that went on to garner more than 50 billion views within just 18 months – reportedly “fell to his death” on September 11.

News of his death was confirmed by his management team through a statement on Weibo, where they expressed deep grief: “With unbearable sorrow, we announce that our beloved Menglong fell to his death on Sept 11. Police have ruled out any criminality. We hope he rests in peace and his loved ones remain strong.”

Speculation surrounding the tragedy began hours earlier when a paparazzi account claimed the performer had died in Beijing “after falling from height” at a friend’s apartment.

According to the now-deleted post, Yu was said to have spent the evening with “five or six” companions before retiring to a guest room around 2am and “locking the door.”

The post continued: “When his friends were leaving the flat this morning at 6am, they couldn’t find him and only discovered his body on the ground floor. A resident who was walking their dog contacted the police, who have ruled out any criminality and investigations are ongoing.”

Yu Menglong’s path to stardom began more than a decade ago when he first appeared on the televised talent show Super Boy in 2010 but was eliminated.

Sharon Osbourne seen for first time since Ozzy’s funeral as she ‘gets smile back’

Ozzy Osbourne’s widow Sharon has been seen for the first time since his funeral as daughter Kelly tried to put a smile back on her face by introducing her to a brand new hobby

Sharon Osbourne has been seen for the first time since her beloved husband Ozzy’s funeral as their daughter Kelly has kept her busy. The X Factor icon has surrounded herself by her family following the death of Ozzy in July.

The Black Sabbath legend died at their Buckinghamshire home on July 22, aged 76. A week later, Sharon and the family attended a public procession in Birmingham for Ozzy, before holding a private funeral at their mansion.

Sharon, 72, has stepped back from the public eye since, but has now shared how she’s taken up a new hobby with Kelly. Earlier this week, Kelly revealed she had “found her smile again” after getting into falconry.

The hobby typically involves training and flying falcons or other birds of prey, sometimes to hunt other animals. She shared how it has been making her feel “happy” lately amid her “sadness and grief”.

Now, it seems Kelly has got her mum interested as the pair headed to Cornwall Falconry in Bugle near St Austell. Sharon appeared in an Instagram video uploaded by Kelly as she was told to “put her hand out”.

An owl then left Kelly’s head and flew over to Sharon, who stroked the bird. She then told the squawking owl: “I don’t have anything to give you. Come on.”

Alongside the short clip, Kelly said: “Today I introduced my mum to falconry and she loved it! Thank you @gerardsulter for putting a smile on my mum’s face too!”

Fans were delighted to see the mum and daughter enjoying a moment together as one said: “Oh Mrs O!!!! Missed your face! Sending love to you all.” Another added: “This makes me happy.”

Someone else commented: “What beautiful healing through the purity and light of birds/animals. Sending many blessings through this hard time.” A fourth shared: “There she is!!!! We’ve all missed seeing Sharon Thank you Kelly.”

Just days before, Kelly shared a photo of herself with an owl perched on her hand and wrote: “In all my sadness & grief I have found something that truly makes me happy!

“I never thought I would find my smile again through falconry but I did. I absolutely love being with the birds!” Last month, Ozzy’s memorial service in Birmingham saw Sharon being supported by Jack and daughter, Kelly, as she wept over the thousands of floral tributes laid out for the Prince of Darkness.

Ozzy has been laid to rest beneath a crabapple tree in the gardens of his Buckinghamshire home, leaving his widowfacing a painful decision about where she will now live.

TheChanges star had long expressed a wish to be buried at Welders House, the Georgian mansion he and Sharon purchased in 1993. The couple, who were married for 43 years, spent decades dividing their time between the UK and the United States.

Sharon now faces the choice of remaining in Britain, close to Ozzy’s grave, or returning to Los Angeles, where their three children, Aimee, Jack, and Kelly, and five grandchildren are based.

A source close to the family said Sharon is struggling with the dilemma. “She is heartbroken, she thought she would be nursing Ozzy for much longer in the UK. Now she’s sad, she is lonely, she’s a widow,” the insider told the Mirror, heartbreakingly adding: “She is in a state of pure devastation.”

Edith Bowman reveals how she unwinds best as BBC Radio makes exciting expansion

Edith Bowman speaks to the Mirror as the BBC launches three brand-new digital music radio stations on DAB+

Edith Bowman is one of the DJS a the helm of BBC radio’s latest venture – over two decades since she first started at the corporation.

This Friday the BBC launches its first ever DAB+ music stations. The three new station extensions from Radio 1 and Radio 3 are the first to be added to the BBC’s music portfolio since 2002 – when the BBC launched 6 Music, 1Xtra and Asian Network.

Edith’s show is one of the beloved BBC Radio 3 series getting a spotlight on the new stations. “It’s so exciting. I mean, I’ve been doing the show Cinematic Soundtracks on BBC Sounds for a while,” says Edith. “I can’t even remember when it started, to be honest. It feels like it’s part of the furniture.

“But, you know there’s always been this desire for it being a ‘proper’ radio station and finally from 12th of September we’re going to be available on DAB… which means that my mum can listen to it in the car, which is great!

“It’s a perfect show for a long car drive. Sometimes you need that calming influence, I think, when you’re on the road, just, you know, whether you you’ve got that kind of beautiful vista out the windows or whether you’re stuck in traffic, sometimes you might need just someone to help you kind of, I don’t know, approach it with a bit more meditation in a way.

“The whole idea behind Unwind is to encourage us all to take life with a bit more of a slower pace and exhale and just take a bit of time for ourselves and I love doing that through music, film and TV. We could all do with more unwind in our lives at the moment couldn’t we?”

Edith’s career on radio has taken many turns and guises since she first started on BBC Radio 1 presenting the afternoon slot weekday slots with Colin Murray.

Radio 3 Unwind is Launching on DAB+ on Friday 12th September

“It’s so bonkers to think of me being a kid up in my little fishing village in Scotland and listening to the radio and going to watch films and now they very much inform such a big part of my life, my professional life,” says Edith.

As she reflects on her broadcasting career so far, Edith says it’s in her nature to keep wondering what’s next.

“I’m always kind of thinking about what are the other things that I can be doing. When one thing’s finished then it leads to another thing with a bit of patience another door opens. I’ve been very lucky,” says Edith.

Despite being the voice of her own Unwind series, Edith admits she’s no expert when it comes to letting go and shutting off. “I’m not very good at unwinding at all actually! My other half, my kids and the rest of my family and my mates will tell you I am not very good at doing nothing.

“So weirdly, what’s been really good for me is having a dog. We have River who’s just turned five. My favourite thing now is in the morning the kids get on the school bus at like half seven and then River and I will just go for a walk and I’m not on my phone. I’m just in nature. We moved out of London just before lockdown and so I’m surrounded by trees and a common and I just really love standing still and looking around.

“For me unwinding is not being in a rush to be anywhere and just taking a minute for yourself. And so going on a dog walk on my own actually, selfishly!, and just enjoying being out in nature has been a real gift, to be honest.

“Phones are so addictive and I do so much work stuff on my phone. I’d be lost without it, but it’s really, really healthy to find those times where you can leave it in another room or leave it behind because the temptation is then kind of removed. So I’m finding more and more I’m trying to really do that.”

Edith says her Unwinds Cinematic Soundtracks show was born out of the idea of taking her already popular film podcast to the next level.

“We are slightly restricted in that we can’t really play music on the podcast and Cinematic soundtracks was just this opportunity to really celebrate a lot of the music that I talk about on my podcast. I get really involved in curating it, so we’ve got a great team. Lucy, my producer, we’ve got a great rapport going where we just create a big old playlist for every batch of shows that we’re going to make. And I’m constantly throwing Ideas in there, whether it be from, you know, remembering about old films or TV shows that I loved, or I’ve just chatted to someone about something and it’s sparked an idea that I’ll throw that in and then my producer will put together the running order of the show and then I’ll work on the script.

“It’s really lovely because it’s not just a case of being given a list of music that I’ve got to talk about. I’m really involved in it. And so that makes it even more special really because it feels like it’s coming from a really truthful place.”

Edith says she’s able to unwind on solo walks with her dog River

While Edith is happiest uniting her passions of music, cinema and radio she has a list of takeaways she wants her listeners to gain from the BBC show.

“I hope listeners come away from it feeling two things. One that they feel like they’ve just they’re kind of energised after having moment for themselves. But also that we’ve taken them somewhere because I think the thing about film and TV music is this transportive nature. There’s nothing better than your imagination being sparked and so I hope it’s kind of like take a breath almost and takes us all on a bit of an adventure.”

Does film fanatic’s Edith’s intense day job dampen her love of the silver screen? “No, I’m a total geek!” she says. “I watched a really great film yesterday. A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, the new Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell film. It’s so gorgeous. There’s a real flurry of new filmmakers who are trying to approach romcoms in a a much more contemporary and creative way, and this is definitely one of those. And those two are fantastic on screen together.”

Speaking of leading lady Margot, Edith like many film buffs is eager for Emerald Fennell Wuthering Heights adaptation following the release of the first trailer this month.

Margot Robbie, Jacob Elordi,
Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi in the new Wuthering Heights(Image: PR)

“Emerald Fennell is one of the best,” says Edith.” I think she’s one of the most exciting filmmakers I think we have. And that marriage of, you know, Margot [Robbie] finally being on camera in one of her films because she’s being a producer behind the scenes for most of Emerald’s career.

“I that trailer is so sexy and so sensual and I’m so excited for it that I just, I mean, yeah, I think in terms of female storytellers, both Margot and Emerald are like at the top of their game. And oh my God Jacob Elordi in a floaty white shirt, he just looks like he was born for it. Born to play Heathcliff.

“I’ve seen some criticism but people have a knee-jerk reaction to things. People getting up in arms when they haven’t seen the movie yet. I mean the book is really raunchy. I’m looking forward to it. Bring on the raunch!”

She signed off: “Love you all and Thankyou for your continued kind and supportive words… they mean so much!!! Not long now.”

Wow! What a week and ouch that toe!,” one of her followers wrote. “Ohhh this has made me smile so much!!! Apart from the bloody toe of course ffs,” said another.

The upload comes as fans fumed over an alleged leak of this year’s pairings. While all the stars are currently in intense training, the official lineup of who will dance with who has been kept under wraps by bosses.

However, it seems as though a list has shown the couples, with a number of accounts sharing the allegations on Twitter/X.

“Is this scam would not give information to them,” one furious fan said on the social media post. Another queried the leak, saying: “is that confirmed? this one is saying different.”

This year sees a wide range of celebrity backgrounds joins the show. As well as Vicky, Thomas Skinner is also to appear. As is show’s first contestant with Down’s syndrome, Ellie Goldstein, and its first drag queen La Voix.

She told hosts Emma Willis and Craig Doyle: “I’ve not got high hopes for my dancing, I’m a drinker, not a dancer, drunk auntie dancing is me.”
