Taylor Swift will return to an iconic British chat show next month to promote her hotly anticipated album The Life Of A Showgirl. The singer, who got engaged recently, will appear in the next series of The Graham Norton Show.

On 3 October, the same day the album is due for release, Taylor will be a guest on the red sofa at the BBC’s popular chat show. She is set to appear alongside Oscar-winner Cillian Murphy, actresses Greta Lee and Jodie Turner-Smith, as well as About Time star Domnhall Gleeson. Another popular musician, Lewis Capaldi will perform his new single Something In The Heavens too.

Taylor hasn’t returned to the stage since 2022, when she made an appearance to promote her album Midnights. She was also promoting the remasterings of her previous albums. Although the star wanted to buy some of her early records, she sold them to someone else because she did not own the rights to them.

She had been re-recording the songs to her own “Taylor’s version” of them as a result. Although financially successful, Taylor’s re-recording career appears to have come to an end when she was able to recover the masters from her first album earlier this year.

She will now make an appearance on the program to promote her most recent album, The Life Of A Showgirl. Taylor released a number of new songs as part of her worldwide tour, Eras Tour, which featured hits from throughout her career.

She stated on the podcast of her fiancé Travis Kelce that she would “do three shows in a row,” and that she would then take three days off. I’d take a flight to Sweden, and then return to the tour. At this point in the tour, I was physically exhausted, but I was so excited to be creating.

Many of her earlier albums have gained fans’ hearts for their depiction of heartache, including Red, which featured several songs allegedly involving her ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal, Fearless, which is said to have broken up tracks aimed at Joe Jonas, and The Tortured Poets Department, which fans claim to have music starring both Matty Healy and Joe Alwyn.

Apparently, Taylor allegedly wrote a few songs about her ex, including Joe Jonas.

However, Taylor has said The Life Of A Showgirl will be different. “It just comes from the most infectiously joyful, wild, dramatic place I was in my life. So, that effervescence has come through on this record.”

Elsewhere in the podcast, Taylor and Travis also spoke about their relationship. The Cruel Summer singer compared their love story to being in “an 80s John Hughes movie” and added that this was what she’d been wanting for a long time. “This is sort of what I’ve been writing songs about wanting to happen to me since I was a teenager.”

Gogglebox fans all said the same thing as long-serving star shared a throwback snap onto her Instagram. Julie Malone, who has been a fixture on the Channel 4 telly-watching favourite since 2014, took to social media to share the new post, which was a school photo from nearly 50 years ago.

She captioned the photo, “Haha, 1977, school days, happy times@Manchester Central High School for Girls”!

In the photo, Julie was grinning and sporting a vintage-style haircut. Nearly 2000 people voted in favor of the image in the comments section.

All full of praise for the TV star, who appears on Gogglebox alongside husband Tom Malone Senior and and their sons Shaun and Tom Jr, fans remarked how she ‘hadn’t changed’ in the time since the photograph was taken. One wrote: “You haven’t changed Julie, still fabulous. Love & best wishes from Irelandxx”

Another person remarked, “My son was born in 1977, and you still look the same.” Two months after the Jubilee, a third person stated, “You haven’t changed much about Julie.” Still looking good! Hope the filming is successful. Xx”

Fourth fan commented, “You haven’t aged a day, Julie,” adding that “you and your family are by far my favorite on Gogglebox.”

Following the recent sacking of one star, several newcomers were introduced to the program, including mother and daughter-in-law Sara and Lara, friends Jake and Calum, and family Andre, Sarah and daughter Chee, and newcomers Sara and Lara, who were all recently cast.

Rosie and Susie, Rosie and Susie, a new duo, made their television debut during the most recent episode, though.

Although it appears that fans of the long-running program haven’t been completely blown away by the new additions, some people mistakenly believe they’re not being real.

One person responded to the question, “Left one is completely over acting and playing to the camera, compared to those Scottish sisters,”. While the point is to be accurate and to watch what you watch, it is fake. Too much .

The new peeps’ acting is a lot more desperate than the original, according to another user. Why “fix” it if it wasn’t broken?

While a third demanded, “Stop all this performative nonsense and be authentic #Gogglebox”

No offence, another user said, “These new Goggleboxers are not natural, they know what #gogglebox fans like and their trying too hard.” Not at all funny [sic] forced.

Dolly Parton has been forced to cancel a scheduled appearance at Dollywood on Wednesday after her doctor advised her not to travel due to kidney stones.

Instead, the 79-year-old country music legend apologized for missing the opening of one of the park’s new attractions via a pre-recorded video.

“I know. You may be wondering why you’re here and wondering why you’re there. I did, however, have a small issue. In the video shared on X, Dolly claimed that she had a kidney stone that was giving her a lot of problems.

As she addressed her disappointed fans, she explained that an infection has given her medical advice. The doctor informed the patient that there was an infection and that you don’t need to travel this minute. You need to recuperate for a while. He therefore advised me against visiting Dollywood today. I want to make it clear that I was anticipating everything.

She continued, letting her adoring fans know that everything will turn out fine. I’m just unable to continue today.

Dolly’s music legend’s year has seen a significant personal loss, and the cancellation and health issues come with it. She lost Carl Dean, her devoted husband of 58 years, in March.

Since their 1964 encounter outside a laundromat in Nashville, the pair had been living together. They tied the knot in Georgia two years later.

Dolly characterized their relationship as having a profound impact: “Carl and I spent many wonderful years together. Words cannot adequately express the love we have shared for more than 60 years. I appreciate your sincere and compassionate words.

She also detested her brother David earlier this year, which added to the grief caused by the loss of three more siblings over time. Dolly has made it clear how much her ability to work has been affected by these personal tragedies.

Speaking with Khloe Kardashian, she reflected on how grief has temporarily slowed her creative projects: “There’s a few things now.

When you ask me if there are things I started but haven’t finished, I have several things I’ve wanted to start, but I can’t do it because my husband passed away three months ago. I’m just coming up with some wonderful, lovely ideas, but I don’t want to finish them.

Despite these setbacks, Dolly continues to be committed to her music and creative endeavors despite the slowdown in progress. There are situations like that that temporarily stall you. However, if it comes, I’ll write something else. She said, “I’m just putting that all on hold.”

Jamie Oliver says he’s ‘conceptually thick’ as he opens up on restaurant failure

Jamie Oliver, a television chef, has openly discussed his failures following the demise of his restaurant empire and offered advice on how to recover.

This week, Jamie joins Jamie for a conversation on Davina’s Begin Again podcast.

Jamie Oliver says his restaurant empire went bankrupt because he didn’t get the basics right and was “conceptually thick”. The TV chef and healthy food campaigner once ran dozens of UK restaurants with other eateries around the world. His TV series also played out globally and it looked like nothing could go wrong.

However, a severe financial crisis in 2019 caused the group of Jamie Oliver’s UK restaurants, including Jamie’s Italian and Barbecoa, to close 22 of his 25 UK restaurants.

Speaking about the highs and lows of his career in a new podcast interview with Davina McCall, 50-year-old Jamie, who is dyslexic, said: “There’s a certain degree of life’s a bit of a numbers game and you gotta have a go otherwise you never know, and I think failure comes in various forms and shapes, but it’s an incredible educator.

Jamie has opened up about his restaurants closing down

Failure can be understood as having a variety of meanings for different people. I mean, you could have suffered a burn or a cut, or you could have lost something you’ve spent all of your savings on. You might be letting down someone you love.

“I also believe that failure can be very painful, and that the idea of pain can become more prevalent as you age because it is always perceived as a negative thing, but in reality, pain is a remarkable gift as a whole.” If you didn’t have that, you would have been dead thirty years ago when you hit your foot, splinter, or get burn. Therefore, I believe it to be a genuine gift.

Although I’m trying to protect myself and perhaps being philosophical, I believe that suffering and failure are all a part of how your peripheral vision and senses are really shaped. And I believe that whatever you’re trying to accomplish might not have been successful because you made the right choice; in some cases, it’s because I’ve failed because I’ve tried too hard and people weren’t prepared. Sometimes I’ve had too late for me to succeed.

Because I spent my entire life refusing to accept responsibility for math and numbers, which goes back to school, I know I was in the worst group for maths because I didn’t pass math at school, I sometimes have failed and I get all the hard bits right. I also got the basics wrong.

Conceptually speaking, I’m thick within that. When it comes to math, I have a negative outlook on myself. So when I lost my restaurants, you know, all the hard work we did, all the work that most people struggled to get right, we did it right, we were really good at the hard stuff, and it was really the basics.

In 2000, Jamie and Jools married, and they have five children, with their son Buddy, a self-taught chef. Jamie praised his “Fifteen” project, which for a number of years taught young unemployed people how to cook, calling it “the best thing I’ve ever done.”

He continued, “She’s quite in the background and she’s done that on purpose,” talking about his partner Jools, who has kept the family together throughout Jamie’s decades of campaigns and business ventures. She is without a doubt the star. She is incredibly kind, kind, and funny, and has incredible instinct.

“I adore her to pieces. She gives us the way we are, and I’m very grateful for Jools’ incredible parenting.

Prince could have ‘1000 unreleased songs’ hidden away in The Vault

Musician Prince was known for recording new songs quickly and enjoyed going into the studio.

Iconic musician Prince still has hundreds of unheard songs and unreleased albums that could one day be heard by fans, according to a new book.

Only a select few people had the combination code to unlock the vast storage room, according to author John McKie, and there is so much to come from Prince’s back catalogue, which was famously hidden away in a location known as “The Vault.”

Musician and songwriter Prince died in 2016 with a host of hits including 1999, Purple Rain, When Doves Cry and Little Red Corvette. But there could be many more still hidden away in his hometown of Minneapolis.

Morris Hayes, who worked with Prince for 20 years, told Morris that there is something superior to Purple Rain in this film. Prince claimed it was “for his kids” but he didn’t even have children, but Morris said “you have to put this stuff out.” Prince’s thoughts are not always simple to understand.

There are still some lingering ambiguities around Prince, which is kind of cool. “I spent five and a half years speaking to 200 people who were close to him. It includes some legalism.

Prince released about 40 studio albums, but [The Vault] is probably only going to have 100 of them unreleased, excluding live performances. Because he recorded a lot, there are probably 1000 songs of unreleased material in the vault. Some of it would be great to be released. Some of that stuff, in my opinion, should have been visible and not just lying in the closet.

The book also discusses Prince’s early career rivalry with Michael Jackson and how a performance with the Rolling Stones helped him succeed. Prince served as the Stones’ supporting act at the 1981 LA Coliseum.

However, Prince’s audience, which included some Hell’s Angels, was offended by his outrageous routine, and he ended up receiving thrown in shoes, chicken wings, bottles of whiskey, and even cups of urine.

Andrew Watt, a musician, claims that he first heard about the legendary incident and that it made Prince’s albums bigger and louder. In the book, Watt claims that “He got beer thrown at him.” His heart is broken.

He says, “They hate me! They hate me!” to Mick Jagger backstage. Mick advised him that a rock band is required if you want to play in front of a crowd this large. You must make a loud noise. The drums are louder than the earlier albums if you listen to the drum sound. A bigger sound is present.

Donnie Graves, Prince’s accountant, is in favor. Prince “was driven to a place where he might not have gone before because of the Coliseum gig,” he claimed. That’s how self-aware the man was, and how angry he was. Without that level of humiliation, I don’t believe he would have reached the level he did.

Prince followed up his 1982 and 1999 albums with a double album, which made him a global star.

On September 18, Bonnier Books published Prince: A Sign o’ the Times by John McKie.

Radio star Colm Hayes announces sad death of ‘beautiful’ wife after cancer diagnosis

After the radio host’s wife had been fighting cancer for six years, Anne Laird-Caffrey passed away peacefully on Tuesday in St. Vincent’s Private Hospital surrounded by her family.

Radio star devastated as he announces the passing of his “beautiful” wife to cancer.

Irish radio host Colm Hayes revealed the tragic passing of his “beautiful” wife Anne Laird-Caffrey. At St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, Anne passed away peacefully on Tuesday, surrounded by her loved ones. The Blackrock native had battled cancer for six years without valiantly.

In a heartfelt tribute to his wife on Instagram on Wednesday, the Classic Hits presenter said: “My beautiful wife Anne passed yesterday morning after living with cancer for 6 years. She was an amazing, brave woman who lived life to the very end. Her smile will never be forgotten.”

Our dear wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, Anne Laird-Caffrey, passed away with “deep sadness,” according to Anne’s death notice.

All those who knew and loved Anne will remember her extraordinary kindness and warmth as the glue that unites us all. She is predeceased by her mother, Margaret O’Neill, and her loving family includes Paul, Mark, Trish, Martin, Therese, Steven, and Tara, as well as her father Sylvester, husband, Colm, daughter Holly, and son Alex and his fiancé Laura.

Her uncle, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and close circle of friends all feel deeply for her loss.

Our lovely Anne will be laid to rest on September 19th, from 5 to 7pm at Massey Bros. Funeral Home in Newtown Park. On Saturday, September 20, at 10am, her funeral service will be held at the Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium.

Anne Laird-Caffrey

Lucy Kennedy, a co-host of Mr. Hayes’ Classic Hits, was one of the first to condolence Ms. Laird-Caffrey’s passing. Haysey, I adore you and am here for you whenever you need me. X. “

After Anne was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, Colm revealed that his “most treasured possession” had faltered. We’ve never discussed this publicly, but my wife will soon discuss it on a podcast because she was diagnosed with stage four metastatic breast cancer, the contestant for the 40 Day Health Challenge said in January.

“So we never have a party where the balloons are blue, we lift them, and they all lift up in the air before returning home.” Anne currently receives third-level chemotherapy. She has three weeks of chemotherapy every Monday before taking a Monday off over the course of the next five years.

It’s obviously enormous. I’m not sure how that woman continues. I can’t recall the AIB commercial “If Brave Is,” where a woman opens the coffee shop at eight in the morning and a man milking his cows, where I used to say, “If Brave Is, it’s Anne.”

He continued, “I believe that your life completely changes and changes as a result.” You believe that your future will change as your priorities change. We must be cautious because we discuss whether or not cancer can cause us to live or die.

“That’s really important, and I’m aware of how many people work in that field, but that’s where you’re at.

“I don’t think I could have imagined that over the past few years, I was dealing with it really well and people would say, “You seem to be dealing with it really, really well and you’re really positive with Anne,” I think. Really not inside.
