The Chase’s Anne Hegerty doubles down on Charlie Kirk comments after furious backlash

After receiving criticism for voice her opinions following the shooting of Charlie Kirk, Anne Hegerty, the Chase star, has once more expressed her emotions.

Charlie Kirk’s death has again received Anne Hegerty’s thoughts.

Anne Hegerty isn’t shying away from her comments surrounding the death of Charlie Kirk despite being met with a huge backlash online. Quiz guru Anne, best known for her role on The Chase has slammed “idiotic” critics as she doubled down on her beliefs.

After the American activist was shot dead at a debate in Utah at the age of 31, users had criticized Anne for her “stupid and misinformed” post. However, she responded back in a furious manner by reaffirming her position on certain circumstances.

Taking to Twitter /X Anne wrote of Charlie Kirk’s suspected killer: “I hope Tyler Robinson gets the death penalty IS THAT CLEAR ENOUGH FOR YOU #idiots”

Her response came after comedian Ryan Long shared a satirical video. The sketch mocking those who were engaging in the conversation without offending their fan base was subtitled “Actor Not Sure His Charlie Kirk Post Has En Enough Qualifiers” by him.

Although the video didn’t specifically target any particular stars, it appeared as though Anne was getting frustrated. It followed her earlier assertions that “I had never heard of Charlie Kirk before Wednesday night.”

You just said WHAT, and I guess the conversation would have ended where we had been. You’re talking about my friends, and “and” Scuse me.

She continued, “I join Bernie Sanders in deploring his murder.”

Her remarks received mixed responses. You’ve never heard of him, yet you make erroneous assumptions, one user said. If you take the time to listen, there is nothing in his words that is controversial.

Another user said, “This post is incredibly misinformed, and you should really take it down. “

Last week, Tyler Robinson allegedly used a bolt-action rifle to shoot the activist in the neck. According to reports, he is alleged to have carried out the murder from a nearby campus building’s roof. Robinson’s father recognized him from the CCTV footage that was released by authorities after a 33-hour manhunt and surrendered to the police.

If found guilty, he could now face the death penalty.

Not just Anne, who is not well known, makes comments about the incident. Jimmy Kimmel has a Jimmy Kimmel Live in the states! show will permanently remove itself from ABC in response to his opinion.

The presenter took to the ABC programme to call out what he said he thought was hypocrisy in how Republicans have responded to Kirk’s death. But his actions saw the organisation take offence and pull his show from air.

Andrew Alford, president of Nexstar’s broadcasting division, said it “strongly objects” to Kimmel’s comments, with Donald Trump agreeing with the decision to axe the show.

Truth Social, the US president, said, “congratulations to ABC, and Kimmel has zero talent.” Not everyone, however, agreed, and famous people expressed their disapproval.

Disturbing reality of Bonnie Blue’s job from ‘punch in the face’ to acid attack fears

Bonnie Blue, a controversial adult entertainer, has faced numerous threats since beginning her self-declared “rage-bait” career. Police were called in the early hours of the morning after allegedly punching her in the face at an event.

Bonnie has admitted she doesn’t feel safe leaving her house alone(Image: bonniieblue_xoxo/TikTok)

Before finding fame as one of the biggest adult stars in the world, Bonnie, real name Tia Billinger, worked a normal job as a NHS recruitment worker. The star, from Derbyshire, was married, had her own home and from the outside, lived the perfect life. But she says she was desperately unfulfilled.

She describes her previous career as “just the same day in, day out, repeat calls.” I was like, “Is this what I’m going to do with my entire life?” She must be so happy in life, she has a house, and a fancy job, people would think of me. It’s dull. There is undoubtedly more to life than this. “

Now working as a controversial adult star, Bonnie has faced numerous threats since launching some of her wildest social media campaigns, including offering sex to “barely legal” teens. She was reportedly “punched in the face” at Sheffield’s Onyx nightclub in the early hours of Friday during her Barely Legal tour.

The adult film star was allegedly sat in line before punching her in the face. “I saw a woman talking to their friend while standing next to Bonnie Blue,” said an eyewitness who witnessed the alleged punch. They turned to Bonnie, turned to their friend, and then struck her in the face with the punch. “

Bonnie’s controversial university tour of the UK, which includes her “Bang Bus,” included the Thursday evening event. The previous night, she attended a second event at Leeds Trinity University, which “successfully” ended.

The star admitted earlier this summer that her job comes at a high price and that concerned viewers have long expressed concern for Bonnie’s safety at such events.

A recent Channel 4 show, titled “1,000 Men and Me: The Bonnie Blue Story” followed the 26-year-old for six months, giving viewers a startling glimpse into how her empire was made – and the true toll that comes with such a controversial lifestyle.

In an effort to break the world record, Bonnie slept with thousands of men in record time. However, concerns were raised about the adult star’s safety as masked men gathered for sex.

Director Victoria Silver comments on Bonnie’s uncanny commitment to her work that “most people seem to be able to handle.” Although she may have a full bank account, the world despises you when things go wrong. “

At the screening, that was attended by The Mirror, Bonnie insisted she was “very happy” with her life, and she is shown petting her fluffy white Pomeranian, completing puzzles or doing crafts. Yet a different story soon emerges as Bonnie’s mask slips as Tia’s real-life fears bubble to the surface.

She admits that she never goes out alone, both on business trips and in the UK, and she admits that she never did. It’s no longer that secure. I receive 100 to 100 death threats each day, so walking around is not that safe. “

The actress admits to being concerned about being attacked on the street with acid. I say, “It will happen at some point, someone will come and give me a stick,” and fair play to her, at least they are getting up off their sofa. She claims that her worst nightmare is acid, and that she could see a spiteful girl acting similarly.

Fans’ footage shows police interacting with the suspects outside the club after the club’s chaos last night.

Bonnie Blue and the Bang Bus were allegedly seen leaving Onyx Nightclub at around 1 a.m. on Friday morning, parking further down Fitzwilliam Street.

Video footage emerged of the extensive security guards’ arrival and the long lines in the stands. Prior to the incident, another observer described the situation as being “incredibly tense.”

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police commented: “At 1.22am today (Friday 19 September), we were called to reports of a disturbance at Onyx nightclub in Portobello Street, Sheffield.

Good Morning Britain presenter Ross King has revealed how he was stunned when he saw his Strictly Come Dancing contract before joining this year’s line-up.

Prior to each series kicking off, celebrities undergo rigorous preparation in the days and weeks leading up to September’s launch, but Ross confessed he was shocked to uncover one particular detail in the timetable.

Discussing his forthcoming stint on this year’s series of the BBC programme, he unveiled a lesser-known clause in his agreement, revealing on the How To Be 60 with Kaye Adams podcast: “I mean, it’s really weird when they give you the contract and then it says minimum of four hours’ training, maximum of eight.”

While outlining how he has been perfecting his dance moves in preparation for the programme, Ross also detailed how he has been attempting to boost his fitness: “I’ve started training, you know, trying to get fitter, doing lots of walks, getting in the gym a little bit, swimming a little bit.”

Tomorrow (Saturday, 20 September), Ross will be among numerous fellow celebrities as the newest series of the dancing contest gets underway.

Earlier this year, it was announced that the line-up for this year’s Strictly Come Dancing includes Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, Dani Dyer, Alex Kingston, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Balvinder Sopal, George Clarke, Karen Carney, La Voix, Vicky Pattison, Chris Robshaw, Ellie Goldstein, Thomas Skinner, Lewis Cope, Stefan Dennis, and Ross.

Get a leopard print puffer jacket to rival Asda George’s sell-out version for £13 instead of £60

Asda George’s leopard print puffer jacket was a viral sell-out hit last winter, and we’ve managed to track down a great alternative that you can get for £13 instead of £60

The MandM leopard print puffer jacket is a great alternative to the viral Asda one(Image: MandM)

At the start of this year, there was only one jacket to be spotted in – pun intended. Asda George’s leopard print puffer jacket went viral thanks to its Ganni-inspired look and ultra budget friendly price tag, prompting it to become a sell out sensation both online and in Asda stores.

Whilst it hasn’t made a return yet this autumn, there is another option you can pick up for a similar vibe, and it’s just as affordable. MandM’s L’amore Couture Nevada Short Puffer is usually priced at £59.99 but is now on sale for £29.99 – but we’ve found a clever deal stacking hack that lets you get it even cheaper.

Considering Asda’s jacket was £38, this makes the leopard print puffer far more affordable whilst still being in stock in all sizes from an eight to an 18. The MandM L’amore Couture Nevada Short Puffer has a similar boxy fit and bomber style silhouette, with rubber tab logos on the front for a streetwear-inspired look.

It fastens with a zip and press studs, featuring a storm flap and elasticated cuffs to keep you warm during the chilly autumn weather. There’s even a fully lined drawcord hood, making it the perfect all rounder as the temperatures start to drop.

Of course, the MandM jacket isn’t the only similar style to appear since the popularity of the George version, with Sports Direct currently slashing the price on Firetrap’s leopard print Med Puffer. Usually priced at £79.99, it’s now on sale for £39.99, making it another great affordable option.

Meanwhile if you want to ensure there’s a diverse range of sizes available, the Leopard Padded Coat from Simply Be is available in sizes 10 to 32. It’s priced at £66, but you can currently use the discount code MAPLE to take £20 off full priced items, slashing the price to £46.
