Strictly’s Dani Dyer reacts to Amber Davies replacing her as she addresses big return

Nicole Dyer has shared her thoughts after resuming her relationship with Love Island actor Amber Davies after she was injured.

Dani Dyer has admitted she found the first live Strictly Come Dancing show hard to watch at the weekend. The former Love Island star, 29, had been excited to be a part of the hit BBC contest, but injury forced her to quit in the week running up to the series starting.

Now, while chatting with her dad Danny Dyer on their Live and Let Dyers podcast, the reality TV star admitted she would love to go back next series. “My door is open,” she confessed. “If they want their door to be open then I’ll walk through their door.”

And talking about Amber Davies replacing her, she admitted she feels she will be amazing with Nikita Guzman. “Watching the launch show, they’re all so lovely,” she said before her dad asked how she felt.

She admitted, “That was really difficult. “Obviously seeing them, but obviously Amber’s arrival and their partnership will be amazing.

There was a chance that Nikita wouldn’t find a partner, so I’m glad he did. Simply put, the turnaround was so quick.

Before declaring her affection for Vicky Pattison from Geordie Shore, she continued, “Listen, I wish everyone the best.” She exclaimed, “I’m so glad I met Vicky.

Dani also revealed during the chat that she felt she may have done something wrong in the world after injuring herself. It left her requiring the advice of her therapist for the first time since she met her husband Jarrod Bowen.

She openly stated, “He just put things into perspective for me.”

Speaking of the circumstances surrounding the accident, dad Danny referred to it as a “freak f***ing accident.” I then explained that essentially I fell and rolled my ankle, and initially I heard a noise but thought, “I think it’ll be fine,” but when I got home on the weekend and iced it all, the MRI revealed that my ankle had a hairline fracture, but it was actually my ligaments.

They told the physio that if you have a grade one sprain, you can work with a grade one sprain, but my ankle had a grade two sprain on one side and the other had a grade one sprain on the other.

What can we do, I said to the doctor after we went to get a second opinion. physically, please? Can you say something, there must be something here? ” “

However, she acknowledged that Strictly’s employees had stopped paying for her time and that they had told her it wasn’t worthwhile. They stated that if she continued, she would be “in such great pain.”

Fans have been asking if Amber’s call-up is fair now that she is one of the favorites because of her West End and dancing background.

Jane Goodall’s incredible life and heartbreaking message just months before death aged 91

Before she passed away at the age of 91, ethologist and conservationist Jane Goodall dedicated her life to learning about the ins and outs of chimpanzees.

Chimpanzee expert Dr Jane Goodall has died aged 91 and leaves behind a very unique legacy. She had long been considered the world’s leading expert on the animal as she dedicated her life to their protection.

The UN Messenger of Peace and Founder took part in ground-breaking studies and died while on tour in California. Jane’s death was confirmed in a post on her Facebook page.

The Jane Goodall Institute learned this morning, on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, that Dr. Jane Goodall, the UN Messenger of Peace and the founder of the Jane Goodall Institute, passed away due to natural causes.

She was speaking in the United States in California. Dr. Goodall was a tireless advocate for the protection and restoration of our natural world as a result of her discoveries as an ethologist. We examine Jane’s legendary career as tributes pour in…

Animals are a part of childhood and animal interest begins.

Jane was the daughter of Margaret Myfanwe Joseph, a businesswoman, and Mortimer Herbert Goodall, a businessman, on April 3, 1934, in London. Her fascination with animals first developed when she was a young child, when she became obsessed with English native birds.

While studying zoology and ethology, she began taking notes and sketches. After reading Tarzan, Jane dreamed of visiting animals in their natural habitats in Africa.

In her free time, Jane worked as a secretary at Oxford University and helped raise money for her trip to Africa at a London film company.

first trip to Africa

A childhood friend invited Jane to Kenya in the late 1950s when she was 23 years old. She was offered a job at a nearby historical museum after meeting paleoanthropologist Dr. Louis Seymour Bazett Leakey while there.

After working for a while, Jane was given the opportunity to travel to Tanzania’s Gombe Stream National Park to study wild chimpanzees. Dr. Leakey believed Jane would adopt an objective perspective and study chimpanzees with an open mind because of her lack of formal academic training.

Chimpanzee research begins

She made the decision to work at Granada Television’s film library in London Zoo to raise money for the expedition. She and her mother and a cook named Dominic traveled by boat to Gombe Stream National Park on July 14, 1960.

Things didn’t turn out well for Jane, who had a fever that pretended to be malaria and delayed the start of her research. When she recovered, Jane realized the real challenge she had to face because she frequently trekked through rugged terrain without even witnessing a chimpanzee.

David Greybeard

The chimpanzee community accepted Jane, who was made a dame in recognition of her accomplishments, at a turning point. She was taken by a primate named David Greybeard based on his silver facial hair.

She said in 2020, “The chimpanzees ran away from me for the first two to three months, and I’d get upset because I knew funding would run out for the project if I didn’t see anything exciting.”

They eventually accepted my behavior. However, David Greybeard will always be unique because he was the first chimpanzee to pass close to me. Then, one day, he removed a banana from my hand. He was incredibly cunning.

What were Jane’s main findings?

Jane made significant discoveries while visiting the National Park that were previously unreliable. She discovered that chimpanzees use tools and produce their own tools, not herbivores.

In 1962, Jane began a doctoral program at Cambridge University without obtaining a degree. However, she was confronted by scientists over her methods and backlash from readers of her debut book, My Friends, the Wild Chimpanzees.

Although she earned her PHD in 1966, her academic peers were upset, and she stayed in the National Park for the following 20 years.

shift in my career

Following a 1986 conference where she saw the effects of deforestation, Jane made the decision to concentrate on conservation and activism. She put forth efforts to improve the conditions of chimpanzees in medical research facilities, established the Jane Goodall Institute, and facilitated a JGI Roots and Shoots initiative to inspire young people to get involved.

Up until her passing, Jane’s tireless efforts to raise money and awareness for chimpanzees and their habitats were continued. She even traveled 300 days a year on average to spread her message.

Not finished yet

Jane spoke with the Call Her Daddy podcast just four months before her passing to discuss her legacy. Because there is so much to do, Jane said, “This mission keeps me going.”

Because we lose hope, we are doomed because we become indifferent and don’t act. The Jane Goodall Institute has a program called Roots and Shoots for young people, but I’m not the only one.

When host Alex Cooper inquired about Jane’s favorite memory, she replied, “You have left, I am not dead yet. As long as I retire, I can’t stop. My brain continues to function even if I become physically disabled. Because I enjoy writing, I want to write more.

Dani Dyer made emergency call to therapist after struggle over Strictly exit

Dani Dyer, a former Love Island star, has acknowledged that she needed to talk to a therapist as she navigated her injury-related Strictly Come Dancing exit.

Dani Dyer has revealed that she reached out to her therapist as she tried to come to terms with her Strictly exit. The former Love Island star, 29, was ruled out of the BBC dance contest a week before the live show due to injury.

She now admits to having to get in touch with her therapist because she had to work out how to manage her broken ankle. The reality TV star’s father, Danny Dyer, revealed her struggles, saying she initially couldn’t leave the house.

Dani said the situation was a real test to her mental health. After the EastEnders actor told his daughter nobody likes to see her so down, she said she kept thinking she may have done something wrong for the bad news to come.

She continued, “I spoke to Chris the therapist,” according to the interview on Live and Let Dyer. Because I’ve been fairly stable, I haven’t spoken to him in a while.

Dani continued, “I’ve been in an amazing place, but the therapist picked up the phone and ran it.” She admitted, “He just put things into perspective for me.”

She said watching the live show was hard, but she is pleased Nikita Guzman was able to get a new partner in Amber Davies.

Danny, known for his tough-guy Hollywood roles, also discussed the incident that caused his daughter’s exit. He remarked, “It was a freak f***ing accident.”

Dani continued, “Basically, I fell and rolled my ankle and at first I heard a noise, but I later realized that my ligaments were the cause of the hairline fracture.

They told the physio that if you have a grade one sprain, you can work with a grade one sprain, but my ankle had a grade two sprain on one side and the other had a grade one sprain on the other.

She also acknowledged that she was advised to leave the competition after having a conversation with the show’s executives. She continued, “When I spoke with everyone at Strictly, they said, “Listen Dani, we have to withdraw you, because you’re going to be in such pain.”

Cheryl Tweedy seen for first time since Liam Payne’s funeral and stalking hell

Since ex-boyfriend Liam Payne’s funeral and her stalking abode, Cheryl Tweedy has seen her for the first time. Daniel Bannister, 50, the stalker of the Girls Aloud singer, was found guilty of breaking a previous restraining order and given a year in prison.

Bannister’s attempts to contact Cheryl, 42, led to his third jail term. A lifetime restraining order was also given to him. When he arrived at Cheryl’s Buckinghamshire home for a fourth time in June, he left her, according to Reading Crown Court, “stunned” and “terrified.”

Kimberley Walsh and Nadine Coyle, along with her pals, were spotted at Hadestown Gala Night after a difficult year. She supported Nicola Roberts, a bandmate, until the end of January, 2017.

For the first time since her stalker hell (PA), Cheryl Tweedy appeared elegant as ever.

At the Gala Night in central London, Cheryl wore a brown coat and an autumnal ensemble. She also chose a bouncy do to accentuate her face, which she did with a new hairstyle.

Meanwhile, Cheryl’s prosecution lawyer, Leandra Smith, read out an impact statement and claimed the singer was “stunned” when Bannister appeared at her home near Chalfont, Bucks, for a fourth time on June 19th.

She remarked, “He’s received two sentences for his unintentional and frightening behavior toward me.” I have to look over my shoulder every time I leave my property. No one should have this perception. When he is imprisoned, the fear persists.

I have a young child to protect, and it has had a significant impact. My young child is scared because of it. Security, family, and friends have all been there for me. Why should I move because of Daniel’s behavior? It’s unacceptable, terrifying, and having a negative impact.

After Liam Payne’s passing, Cheryl’s ex-partner, with whom she shares a son named Bear, made a comeback to fame.

Liam, the former One Direction member, tragically passed away on October 16, 2024, after falling from a hotel’s third-floor balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Multiple traumatic injuries (polytrauma), including internal and external bleeding, were the official cause of death.

From 2016 to 2018, Cheryl and the Strip That Down singer were together for two years. Just over a year into their relationship, they welcomed their son, Bear, in March 2017. The former couple’s split in July 2018 was regrettable, but they continued to co-parent their now-elder son, who is now eight years old.

The actor was last seen attending his funeral in November of last year.
