David Beckham ‘secretly reaches out to Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn’

Brooklyn Beckham and wife Nicola Peltz were absent from David Beckham’s knighthood ceremony at Windsor Castle as the family rift continues

Sir David Beckham made a last-minute effort to mend fences with his estranged son by reaching out to Brooklyn and his wife, it has been claimed. The ex-Manchester United and England footballer was knighted by King Charles in October, but Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz were conspicuously missing as he received the honour.

It’s understood that Sir David offered Brooklyn the chance to join them at Windsor Castle for the investiture, while also extending an invitation to Nicola for his late-night dinner in west London. However, Brooklyn, 26, who resides in the United States with his actress wife, declined the offer, reports The Sun.

The former midfielder’s three other children, his parents Ted and Sandra, and fashion designer wife Lady Victoria were left to attend the Berkshire ceremony and its subsequent after-party, held at Gordon Ramsay’s Chelsea restaurant, without them.

This event marked the latest major family occasion missed by Brooklyn and Nicola throughout the year, with the pair previously skipping Sir David’s landmark 50th birthday bash and the red carpet premiere of his mother’s new Netflix show.

This comes after Brooklyn is reported to have contacted his grandparents directly, despite accusations of him abandoning them in the feud with his parents.

David and Victoria Beckham’s eldest son Brooklyn, 26, has been criticised by fans in recent weeks after his brother Cruz revealed he had blocked his parents and siblings shortly before Christmas, in a family feud that has been going on for months.

Brooklyn then opted to stay in the US and celebrate the festive period with wife Nicola and her family, despite Victoria’s mother Jackie Adams hanging a stocking for him on the mantlepiece of her fireplace.

Meanwhile Sandra’s comment on a post of Brooklyn’s also appeared to go ignored. Brooklyn filmed himself wrapping a bottle of his hot sauce, to which David’s mum Sandra posted: “That for me?”, followed by a series of sweet emojis. The comment went without a reply from Brooklyn.

These sparked rumours that Brooklyn wasn’t in contact with his grandparents as well as his parents, drawing criticism from fans. But, it has since been reported that the Cloud23 founder is in fact in private contact with his grandparents. However, last week the Mirror revealed that Brooklyn does still have a relationship with his grandparents on both sides. A source told us last week: “There is a lot of love for them, and that has never faltered.”

Brooklyn has previously reached out to his grandma, Sandra, who is dad David’s mum. Last June, he posted online: “Happy birthday nanny xx love you so much.” It was the first – and perhaps last time – he publicly acknowledged his family.

Meanwhile, it has now been claimed he has had phone conversations and texts with both Tony and Jackie Adams and a Ted and Sandra Beckham – it has also been claimed he called them all over the Christmas period.

While Brooklyn is reportedly in a good place with his grandparents, the same can’t be said for his parents David and Victoria. It has been claimed Brooklyn sent a legal letter to his parents requesting them to not contact him or tag him on social media – and to contact him via lawyers only.

It has been claimed by The Sun the letter was sent “at the end of last summer” and requested for “any correspondence to go via lawyers only” in an attempt to “try and make amends privately not publicly”. However, the move has reportedly left the parents not knowing what to do as they “had no other physical means of reaching out to” Brooklyn.

The eldest of the Beckham clan is said to have then blocked his immediate family after Victoria liked a post on Brooklyn’s page which saw him share his chicken-in-beer recipe.

The source went on to say that the Beckhams were “utterly bemused and devastated” by what had happened, with the chance of a reconciliation seeming further away than ever.

It’s been claimed the feud between the Beckhams and the Beckam Peltz’s has been boiling for almost four years – and is said to have begun in the lead-up to Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding and worsened over the past year as Brooklyn snubbed his parents birthdays and several other special occasions including David’s knighthood and Victoria’s Netflix documentary premiere and fashion show.

Nicola recently returned to Instagram with several new posts as she celebrates her 31st birthday with Brooklyn and her family in Florida. On Friday, the actress took to the social media platform to share home photos of her husband – who spends a good deal of his time filming cooking tutorials.

Yungblud says he’s ‘coming for the cougars’ after naked yacht appearance

Yungblud has joked that he is “coming for the cougars” after being spotted naked on a boat with socialite Dina Broadhurst, 50, in Sydney Harbour ahead of the launch of his tour Down Under

Yungblud has joked that he is “coming for the cougars” after being spotted naked on a boat. The pop star, 28, was seen partying away with socialite Dina Broadhurst, 50, in Sydney Harbour ahead of the launch of his IDOLS World Tour, using only his hand to cover his modesty, reports the Mail.

Dina bills herself as a nude artist, and in response to media outlet News 23, who had published an article with the headline: “Why cougars all want Yungblud”, the singer, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, teased his older female fans with a saucy comment on his social media page.

Alongside a post on Instagram, he wrote: “Australia im here. Tell the cougars I’ll see em Saturday night.”

The Zombie hitmaker recently revealed that older women make up a significant part of his fanbase, and they can be the most enthusiastic of his followers. He told News.com.au: “I’m telling you, the older birds, they’re a bit more aggressive. It’s crazy, you know what I mean? The nails are sharper!

“”I’m down [for it]. It’s definitely another generation’s vibe but whatever man, rock’n’roll.” But Yungblud is not likely to be looking for another lady anytime soon, as he’s already in a relationship with Jesse Jo Stark. The star briefly split from his fellow singer, 34, but they got back together earlier this year.

Jesse had been working on an album that was initially titled Jesse Jo and Her Broken Heart but then after the title change, she told i-D in November: “We are forever growing lovers and best friends. There’s no end with us!”

Yungblud is not shy when it comes to sharing saucy snaps with his followers, having teased them all with a series of pictures towards the end of last year. In the first photo, the star stands in front of a food trolley, sipping tea in his hotel room. He wears nothing but a white towel around his waist, which he cheekily pushes down with his thumb.

He also shared snaps of him backstage, hanging out with fans, applying his usual black eyeliner. One picture was zoomed in on belt where a lit cigarette peaked out from his Calvin Klein briefs.

Yungblud also posted moments from his concerts and showed off a few of his outfits. Fans were quick to make jokes about the saucy snaps, with one user writing: “Forgive me father for I have zoomed.” While one fan commented: “I really like you, but I’ve seen enough of your pubes.

One fan referred to a mirror selfie from when he was wearing a sheet mask on his face and demanded he become a model for the iconic underwear brand. They wrote: “I love a man that appreciates good skincare.” However, another went on to say: “You need to be the face of Calvin Klein!” “The energy on main we need,” commented another excited fan.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock poses completely nude after Andre Gray marriage bombshell

Singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock has left nothing to the imagination as she stripped completely naked for a daring magazine cover, days after opening up about her marriage

Leigh-Anne Pinnock has ditched her clothes and posed completely nude in a daring new shoot. The former Little Mix singer recently opened up about her marriage to footballer Andre Gray and explained she felt betrayed by him.

The 34-year-old recently revealed that she was “heartbroken” after “losing trust” in the Fatih Karagümrük centre-forward. Leigh-Anne and Andre married three years ago and now share two children. But she admitted that things hadn’t always been so happy in their marriage.

Andre is said to have “wanted to change” and went to therapy so that they could work on their marriage and rebuild the trust between them. But now, it appears that the Been a Minute musician has shrugged off any concerns as she stripped down for a racy photoshoot.

Posing for Defined Magazine, Leigh-Anne looked sensational as she opened up about her career, having recently signed with a new record label after ditching her old one. One image showed the singer wearing nothing but a pair of black leather-look gloves and high-toed shoes as she carefully protected her modesty.

In another image, Leigh-Anne dazzled in a completely sheer polka-dot gown as she sat on the floor, using her knees and arms to cover her modesty, while offering a seductive gaze towards the camera. But Leigh-Anne later rocked a white bikini top and matching skirt, while completing her look with a pair of thigh-high white boots.

“The process of going solo, then going independent, then doing all of that whilst being a mum – it’s kind of wild,” she told the outlet. Leigh-Anne went on to explain that since going solo from her Little Mix bandmates, she’s “built up” her resilience. “Getting to this point now, where I can release my album, and it’s exactly how I want it to be, it feels amazing,” she said.

Now, having parted ways with Warner Music, after she claimed that the label had no money to release her record, she’s building up to releasing her alubm. However, like Beyoncé’s Sasha Fierce, Leigh-Anne now has an alter ego, who is the “younger version” of herself.

Reflecting on her upcoming solo record, she told the publication: “There’s one lyric on the album where I say, ‘Living my dream in a nightmare’. And I think that is so telling of this industry, how toxic it can be and how it can really chew up and spit out artists. It’s quite brutal.”

But just days before, Leigh-Anne opened up to Paloma Faith on her Mad Sad Bad podcast about her marriage. She explained that she and her husband endured a “weird time” during which he “hurt” her. She said: “I went through a bit of a weird time with my husband, actually, and I think that sort of not being totally honest and losing trust and that kind of betrayal – I think like heartbreak is wild.

“It’s awful and especially someone that you’re so madly in love with and that they can hurt you.” She added that Andre had moved abroad to Greece to play for Aris Thessaloniki but realised he was being “selfish” and went to therapy to change.

“I think that person has to want to change and he did,” Leigh-Anne said. “And I think you can go through things in relationship, but if they aren’t willing to change for you, forget it. They have to do the work and they have to turn it around because again it’s not you, it’s not on you. He went to therapy and I think for us what really helped for us.

“He started playing abroad and he had more time to himself to kind of look and realise that everything that he was doing was not how you make a relationship work, it’s not. It’s selfish.” Prior to this, Leigh-Anne told her TikTok followers in June 2024 that Andre had “broke” her heart, but she stayed with him.

Primark’s new ‘PE uniform’ £15 Rita Ora trainers leaves shoppers divided

Fashion fans can’t make up their minds about the new Primark trainers

Primark has divided shoppers with new £15 Rita Ora sneakers, as some fashion fans love the ‘cute’ design, but others think they look like ‘PE uniform’. The retailer usually impresses shoppers with its trendy clothing and footwear. However, not everyone is sold on the new Rita Ora Sneakerinas.

Available in black or natural, the shoes are described as ‘mesh ballet trainers with toggle elastics and self-fastening straps.’ Fans of ‘balletcore’, a fashion trend inspired by dancewear, could be pirouetting their way to Primark for the new style. The popular style has taken over the catwalk in recent years, with big-name design houses including Simone Rocha and JW Anderson seemingly drawing inspiration from ballerinas.

As such, Primark’s offering could be perfect for high street shoppers looking to join in with the trend. The product description for the shoes reads: “Step into effortless sport-luxe style with the Rita Ora Sneakerinas — a modern fusion of ballet elegance and athletic ease. These mesh ballet trainers offer comfort, while the toggle elastic detail ensures a secure, customisable fit.

“Self-fastening straps add extra support and a sleek, wrapped look that moves with you. Flexible, and designed for all-day wear, they’re the perfect choice for everything from studio workouts to on-the-go days when you want comfort without compromising style.”

Based on the reaction on social media, the style won’t be for everyone, though. There was a mixed response to the shoes when a shopper named Ellan Mangham posted a TikTok video under the handle @Ellanmangham, starting a debate about the style

Content cannot be displayed without consent

Noticing the similarity between the sneakers and dance shoes, Ellan wrote: “What in the jazz shoe is happening??!” In response to the video, which gained over 200k views and 14k likes, several commenters questioned the design.

Commenting under the post, one viewer thought: “Ermm it’s giving PE uniform,” and a second response said: “It’s giving lost property PE uniform.” A similar comment read: “Anyone remember those plimsols from school?”

Someone else joked: “When you have the gym at eight and a performance of Riverdance at lunch.” A viewer agreed: “These remind of of the little leather shoes my daughter used to wear in Irish dance lol.” Another reply said: “5 6 7 hate,” and someone commented: “I see the vision, but it’s not in the delivery.”

However, several commenters defended the new shoes and praised the look. One fan said they would wear the trainers in the summer months. She explained: “I would wear them for gym in the summer.. definitely!”

Offering their perspective, another fan wrote: “I kinda like them. Sporty vibe but also cute.” A different viewer agreed: “I think they’re cute,” and someone else wrote: “But but but …. I do like them.”

Emmerdale fans only just realising Paddy actor is married to co-star in real life

Emmerdale’s Dominic Brunt is a soap legend and it turns out he has a very famous wife

Emmerdale’s Paddy Kirk actor Dominic Brunt has a rather famous wife and fans will know who she is.

Dominic has played loveable vet Paddy on the ITV soap since 1997. And it didn’t take him long to become one of the show’s most iconic and adored characters. As Paddy, Dominic has been involved in several big storylines in the Dales too over the years: from the character’s shock affairs to the heartbreaking loss of his child.

And over in the soap recently, Paddy discovered the horrifying truth that his dad Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) had been trafficked and forced to work on a nearby farm, run by evil Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) and Ray Walters (Joe Absolom).

In Friday’s episode (January 8) the police told Paddy that after they visited the farm, the attic that housed the slaves, was empty, suggesting Bear might have ran away. However, they then wanted Paddy to “expect the worst”.

Away from the soap though, Dominic is happily married and a father to two children. But some fans have recently been left stunned after learning who his wife is. Dominic is married to Joanne Mitchell who is also well known to soap lovers as she has made a number of appearances on Emmerdale and Coronation Street.

Actors Dominic and Joanne met while attending drama school in Bristol. They tied the knot in 2003 and share two sons, Mickey-Joe and Danny Lee. Joanne has starred in several award-winning shows and even appeared in Emmerdale multiple times.

She has played four roles on the show to date, starting with Susan Davies, followed by a midwife named Yeo. Up next were the more challenging roles such as DS Karen Barnborough and most recently Sandra Flaherty, the mother and stepmother of Liv Flaherty (Izzy Steel ) and Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller).

Recently, a photo of Dominic and Joanne made its rounds on an Emmerdale Facebook fan page. Captioned: “Dominic Brunt and his wife Joanne Mitchell,” the snap left plenty of people shocked over their real-life romance.

“Wow I didn’t know he is married to Liv’s mum in real life,” said one person as someone else added: “That’s who that is!” A third fan chimed in: “Fine actor. But I never knew his wife was Liv’s Mum in Emmerdale!” Echoing their thoughts, another person wrote: “So shocked Sandra is his off-screen wife.”

In 2022, Joanne spoke about working with Dominic on Emmerdale, telling Inside Soap: “I haven’t seen Dominic at the studios yet since I’ve been back this time.

It’s fun to be on the same show but I’ve not actually worked with him yet. We haven’t had any scenes together as our characters live separate lives in the village.”

Emmerdale is on ITV1 weeknights at 7pm and ITVX
