Escape To The Chateau fans confused by Strawbridge family’s appearance in major update

The popular series The Strawbridges first aired on Channel 4 in 2016 and 2022 as a result of the couple’s renovation of a French castle from the 19th century.

Following a recent post, the Strawbridge family’s appearance has left Escape To The Chateau fans perplexed. In order to make a TV comeback, Dick and Angel provided their fans with an update.

The family became household names on Channel 4 between 2016 and 2022 in their series which followed their renovation of a 19th-century French castle. After a three year break, they have now taken to Instagram where they shared a snap of themselves outside Château de la Motte-Husson in the snow.

Captioning the photo, the Strawbridges wrote: “Hello to you on this Super Sunday! Christmas came early this weekend at the Chateau… Not only did it snow and Arthur and Dorothy got to catch snowflakes with their tongues.

With the ideal weather, we had the opportunity to film something quite special! We’re eager to share it with you. Have a lovely evening!

Fans were unsure about one aspect of the post, though, specifically. Dorothy and Arthur’s grown-up appearances dissuaded them.

One person said, “These kids are very young. How fast can time fly? My preferred show. How wonderful that is!

Oh my goodness, how grown-up are the kids now, I just wrote that. While another person said, “These are beautiful pictures, Arthur and Dorothy are growing up so quickly.

Other fans meanwhile took advantage of the opportunity to express their desire for a festive program. The post comes as Escape To The Chateau is scheduled to return in 2022.

The pair made the announcement earlier this month that the program would return. The renowned program’s return was confirmed by The Daily Mail.

We’re pleased to announce that Escape to the Chateau, Series 10, is back in production, according to Dick and Angel. Our Escape filming family, the unsung heroes behind the cameras, has been wonderful to welcome back.

They said the family has “stepped into a new era” which will play out on screen when asked what viewers can expect from the upcoming series. After series nine was over, they explained that they decided to stop filming and were now prepared to begin the series nine series.

The pair continued, “The Chateau has taken us on a journey of a lifetime since we first fell in love with it in 2014.” We made the crucial choice to cut off from filming in 2022, and we came to the most incredible and magical celebration we could have ever imagined.

We have entered a new era as a family at this time. More change and development is possible in Series 10 as Arthur and Dorothy are happily settled into college.

‘I was in Skins 18 years ago – big star’s attitude wasn’t what I expected’

A woman who appeared in the first season of Skins in 2007 shared her experiences with some of the actors who ” intimidated” her.

One of the most well-known dramas of the 2000s, Skins, has since become a cult favorite since its demise in 2013. Skins, which first aired on E4 in 2007 and was known for its controversial storylines that covered topics like bullying, dysfunctional families, substance abuse, and mental health.

The show also produced a number of stars who went on to become big names in the acting world, including Dev Patel, who would go on to star in Slumdog Millionaire and Lion, Hannah Murray, who has since starred in Game of Thrones, and Kaya Scodelario, who gained more prominence as Teresa in the Maze Runner film franchise.

However, a woman who appeared in a first episode of Skins claimed that the cast had a known face before making the drama debut, and she was shocked by his attitude.

Julie was only portrayed in one Skins episode in 2007 by Stephanie Houtman. Effy Stonem, Kaya Scodelario’s character, and Julie was a friend of her, and she was featured in an episode where the two shared a birthday party.

Stephanie shared a secret about how it was like working with the Skins cast, saying that Tony Stonem, Kaya’s on-screen brother, was the one who surprised her in a TikTok video.

Stephanie claimed she was intimidated by Nicholas when she first stepped onto the set of the 2002 comedy-drama About a Boy, and he had already made a breakthrough with his role. She soon realized his kindness and that he had even taught her how to play pool, which surprised her.

When questioned about how close she and Kaya were while filming, she responded, “Yes! She was very funny and fun, and we got along really well. Nobody knew who she was because it was her first significant job at the time. We were on a similar level of new to this series that wasn’t even out, and we didn’t know how big it would be.

I was a little intimidated to meet Nicholas Hoult because he was the only member of the younger cast who was really well-known. He was very kind, though. I specifically recall him trying to teach me to play pool, but I was immediately moved to tears of joy knowing that he was the boy in “Officially,” “Oh my god.” Fangirl

Stephanie said in another video that she has “distanced” from the majority of the Skins cast because so much time has passed since she recorded the episode.

She did claim that Mike Bailey, who played Tony’s friend Sid Jenkins in the show’s first two seasons, once served her in a restaurant in Bristol. Mike left his acting career in 2017 and has since transitioned to teaching, but he was a waiter in Bristol when he inquired about Stephanie’s recall.

She responded, “He came and served me, and he said, “I don’t know if you remember who I am, but I’m going to go away.” You need to try to remember who I am when I return, and think about it. Who is this guy, I asked? I can tell he’s a real hero. Turns out Sid was the culprit. He is very kind.

Stephanie also revealed that the cast is made up of people who didn’t appear in the same episode as she did, or even on the same show.

She detailed: “I do actually speak to Amy Burnett, who played Kayleigh. I think she’s having an engagement party in Skins, and Cook crashes it. It’s a later series, though, not the series I was in. But we’re still friends. We were friends before Skins; we both went to ITV acting classes. So I still speak to her. She’s still acting, too, and she’s lovely.”
