Nathan Bliss, The Mirror’s Gaming Editor, tested the Xbox version of the Stealth Pro, but don’t worry about platform specifics, as these headphones are compatible with PlayStation consoles, PC, Mac, Nintendo Switch, and other Bluetooth devices. It’s certainly a better choice over the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro PlayStation version, which doesn’t support either of Microsoft’s consoles.

Normally retailing for a steep £279.99, this Stealth Pro Headset is currently up for grabs for 25% less thanks to Amazon’s Prime Day deals, saving shoppers a massive £70.

Nathan Bliss highlights some of the headset’s best features. You’ve got two mics to switch between: the built-in, dual concealed mic for when you’re sporting these hefty lads on the go, and the detachable boom mic with ANC for when you’re deep in online gameplay. Both the boom mic and dual concealed mic utilise Turtle Beach’s S.M.A.R.T. (Sonic Measurement Audio Reduction Tuning) mic, noise-cancelling tech, designed to pick up your voice while leaving out all the background sounds.

The 50mm detachable drivers are a joy, enhanced by the ANC, but these high-end features come with a hefty price tag. The Turtle Beach Stealth Pro is priced at £279.99 for the Xbox version when purchased directly from Turtle Beach, putting it in direct competition with the Razer Barracuda Pro. However, when compared, the Stealth Pro proves to be much more versatile.

The headphones feature high-quality memory foam ear cushions, as well as a similarly comfortable headband, making them suitable for extended wear, despite weighing approximately 400g (excluding the detachable microphone). The Stealth Pro is certainly on the heavier side, with the Razer Barracuda Pro being approximately 60g lighter, but this adds to the premium feel, and the cushions are so comfortable that it’s not an issue.

Nathan describes the adjustable noise cancellation as “top-tier”, writing: “The Turtle Beach audio hub allows you to switch between ambient and full ANC swiftly and easily. It’s full ANC mode offers the best noise cancellation experience I’ve had with a gaming headset, and the focus it provides to secure those crucial eliminations in tense moments without being distracted by external noise is invaluable. Even when hoovering (everyone needs a cleaning playlist, right?), the sound comes through cleanly, making it an incredibly versatile piece of kit.”

Nathan summarises: “The Turtle Beach Stealth Pro is hands down the best multiplatform gaming headset I’ve ever used. Its impressive array of features, comfort, and ability to connect to any device – not to mention the fact you never have to worry about battery life thanks to its dual battery system – makes it an extremely attractive option.”

“With other gaming headsets on the market, you often find yourself having to choose between platform connectivity, wireless, Bluetooth, comfort, noise cancellation and battery life. But with the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro, you can have your cake and eat it too. That is, if you can afford it.”

Amazon shoppers who have picked up this headset can’t stop raving about it, with one thrilled customer sharing: “Happy customer, coming from Steel Series Nova 3x and then 5x to this, what a difference!! more immersive, better sound, noise isolation and the bonus of ANC. Though this shopper presents a balanced argument, writing: “I finally found a gaming headset that’s ideal for me after coming from Turtle Beach X800 to Turtle Beach Air, then SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless, which had great sound. This Turtle Beach Stealth Pro was easy to set up and configure the sound, with compatibility with multiple platforms. I honestly cannot fault this headset, the only downside is the clamp force is a little bit getting used to as it’s a new headset, but that will bed in once it’s been used(my big head), all in all very happy and worth the money. Coming to this from a previous headset, which was a Steelseries Artis Pro Wireless, and I can tell this has that extra mile in it, so very happy.”

Nicole Kidman has revealed she has made mistakes after it was revealed she is headed for a divorce from Keith Urban. The Hollywood actress, 58, admitted she has always been a risk taker and confirmed she will learn from her ways after the pair’s split was confirmed after 19 years together.

A source had previously revealed the anxious feeling Nicole had had due to her separation from Keith. A source told People the Aussie star had: “Been stressed [for months] because she knew the separation would eventually become public and she was dreading [the public’s response].”

The source went on: “She’s surprisingly level-headed and calm. Now that it’s out she’s just focused on what’s ahead and her girls.”

Meanwhile, Keith – with whom Nicole shares daughters Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14 – seemed to address his marriage complications during his current tour. Eagle-eyed fans spotted Keith had dropped a tune, that is believed to be about Nicole, from his recent set.

The sing, his 2016 track titled The Fighter, had previously been described as being written for Nicole. However, following news of their break-up, it appeared to have vanished from his playlist.

It’s a tune he has regularly performed during past tours. In it, lyrics include: “When they’re tryna get to you, baby I’ll be the fighter.”

Nicole and Keith’s divorce is said to have come as the pair “suffered irreconcilable differences”. It prompted the actress to begin divorce proceedings.

Divorce documents include a detailed parenting plan, with it said that Nicole will be the primary parents. It’s suggested that she will be the residential parent for 306 days of the year, with the singer having the remaining 59.

They are also said to have fairly split up the holiday periods to share special occasions.

Netflix’s The Midnight Club star and Celebrity Traitors contestant Ruth Codd has gone into detail about the accident which left her in and out of hospital in Ireland as a teen

As the latest batch of famous faces battle it out in The Celebrity Traitors, actress Ruth Codd has opened upon the scary accident that cost her years of her life. The Netflix star, 29, with join the star-studded lineup as they enter the famous castle for the hit BBC series.

While it remains to be seen who will take on the role of either Faithful or Traitor, Ruth will join the likes of Stephen Fry, Alan Carr, Jonathan Ross and Kate Garraway to take on the challenge. But things could been completely different for Ruth following the incident as a teen.

The Midnight Club star explained how at the age of 15 she seriously injured her foot. The Irish star from Wexford was playing football and the injury left her requiring several surgeries and suffering from chronic pain as a result.

In the end, she eventually made the decision to have her leg amputated aged 23. Since then, she has learned to use a prosthetic leg and continues to use her platforms to raise awareness about disabilities.

In 2022 she spoke with the Irish Examiner about her situation. Ruth called it one of her greatest life challenges to date and claimed it took “eight years of her life”.

She said at the time: “My injury is the greatest challenge I’ve faced in my life so far. I injured it playing soccer at the age of 15.

“It never healed correctly so until I was 23, I was on and off crutches, getting loads of operations. Because of nerve damage and chronic pain, I chose to get it amputated. It took eight years of my life, constantly going in and out of hospital.”

The actress went on: “My whole life revolved around trying to heal my leg. For years, I didn’t see it getting any better. I was stuck in a really bad mindset and I was p****d off at life.

“When I made the decision to amputate it, things finally started to turn around. It was a relief. I could get on my life.

“I was just messing around in school and fell over playing soccer, which is the worst part because I don’t even like soccer. At least I could have gone out in blaze of glory doing something that I loved but – no!”

As well as her upcoming Traitors appearance, Ruth has also starred in The Fall of the House of Usher as well as Sky TV series Small Town, Big Story and the live action remake of How To Train Your Dragon.

The Celebrity Traitors begins on BBC One and iPlayer at 9pm tonight.

Tom Daley’s husband Dustin Lance Black has shared tear-jerking wedding day secret from their special day back in 2017. The couple tied the knot eight years ago and have been just as in love ever since.

Dustin spoke in an emotional TV interview just months after their special day. He reminisced about the “beautiful” ceremony, which took place in May 2017.

Despite having a 20 year age gap between them, the pair looked happier than ever as they celebrated in Tom’s home city of Plymouth. Dustin revealed that he found himself in tears throughout the day as he married the love of his life.

In an interview with 5 news, Dustin said: “I got quite tearful that day. When I was able to join in that great tradition and understand it fully and come to understand a bit more than I ever knew even when I was fighting for it.”

He added: “We’re just really open about who we are and I don’t think it’s even a gay thing, we just don’t hide our relationship.

“If we’re going to do something together we’re husbands, we’re each other’s life partners. We love each other so we don’t hide it.”

Dustin flew his family to the UK from Texas but said he and his husbands were actually the ones who left the party first.

He said: “[Tom and I] were the first to go to bed they stayed up all night drinking. It was great. I’ve felt part of that family for a long time. But I’m not sure I’m 50 per cent Plymouth yet, I haven’t earned that.”

Tom and Dustin are dads to their two sons – Robert ‘Robbie’ Ray Black-Daley born in 2018 and Pheonix Rose Black-Daley who was born in March 2023.

The Traitors is returning to our screens this Wednesday night and, for the first time in the UK version of the show, there will be famous faces from the worlds of sport, entertainment, music and more entering the iconic castle.

Tom will be one of the celebs taking part in the show. Just like the usual version of the popular BBC programme, the spin-off series will see 19 celebrities becoming either ‘Faithfuls’ or ‘Traitors’.

The cast for the celebrity series includes comedian and TV host Alan Carr, singer Charlotte Church and actress Celia Imrie. Representing the world of sport, meanwhile, is ex-England rugby player Joe Marler and Olympic diver Tom Daley.

Tom, who is now 31, first shot to fame nearly two decades ago when he won the 2007 BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year award when he was just 13-years-old. The year after he then became Team GB’s youngest competitor at the Beijing Olympics and has since won five Olympic medals in total.
