The surgery to rebuild the actress’s face after damage from drug abuse and years of operations was a “success”, her partner revealed on social media

Danniella Westbrook has undergone a series of surgeries over the years

Actress Danniella Westbrook has revealed that she is getting facial surgery to rebuild her face after several years of botched operations that followed on from her battle with drug addiction.

The former EastEnders star shared a photograph of her in a hospital bed on social media with the caption: “Big day for me heading down for a very long surgery right now to rebuild my face. Then I can get back to work and we can get on with our life together @chasarealtal. I love you x.”

Her partner, Charlie, shared a video on his own Instagram story to thank everyone for offering support to Danniella. He added: “This is something that she wanted to do for herself, it’s been a long time coming. I love her for her, I met her for her.. She’s beautiful inside and out. This is something she wants to do for herself.”

After the surgery, Charlie posted a story captioned: “Thank you everyone she is doing OK, still long way to go but it was a success, now time to rest and recover.” Danniella reposted it, adding: “Don’t know what I’d do without you.”

The actress has undergone a series of surgical procedures over the years, and was most notably in the press for getting her septum reconstructed after years of drug abuse led to its collapse.

Danniella has been open about her struggles with addiction and said, on Celebrity Big Brother in 2016: “When I got over a drug addiction, I then swapped that addiction for a cosmetic surgery addiction.”

In 2023, Danniella went to Turkey for her fifth reconstruction surgery where she underwent a surgical thread lift as well as fat grafting on her chin and had her jawline etched. She told The Sun that the operation, which involved removing fat from her body to put into her cheeks and lips, hadn’t worked.

She said: “I also have big lumps of fluid all over my belly. They’re like big tennis balls. It’s ruined my body. I have never been in pain like it. I felt like I couldn’t breathe. I was hysterically crying every single day.”

Several years before, in 2015, a botched operation on her teeth and mouth area had left her in pain.

She told the Mirror: “I did nearly die, I had two lots of IV drips in each side and then they took all my teeth out again and gave me this denture, which has broken my heart because I didn’t need all of my teeth out in the first place.”

Last month, Danniella opened up about her love life on social media, and told followers that she had found her perfect match.

She wrote: “For the first time in my whole adult life I’ve met someone who expects nothing for me , allows me to be me, excepts [sic] my past and is excited for my future and who builds me up everyday with nothing to gain except to see me happy…”

Danniella continued: “Every battle every heartbreak and every tear was worth it because today I got someone so special and my best friend beside me. Together we will make every dream come true.”

BBC radio star lets rip expletive outburst live on air after sudden burst of cramp

A BBC star had to ‘profusely apologise’ after an expletive outburst was mistakenly heard live on air while presenting his lunchtime radio show

A BBC radio presenter had to apologise after a huge blunder led to him swearing live on air. After speaking to listeners, BBC Radio Derby host Ian Skye was left embarrassed when his expletives were heard live on air when he thought he had cut from his segment.

Ian told listeners to message in if they had any requests. However, as the show’s jingle began to play, stunned listeners would have heard an in-pain Ian curse in agony. In the background, the presenter wails: “Ow, f***ing hell,” before the show cuts back to the presenters chatting after a song had played.

As his co-host joked they had been on a training course the day before to improve their presenting skills, they said: “I don’t think they suggested suddenly getting unbearably agonising cramp and shouting really loud on the radio.”

Ian stuttered in response, saying: “No, that’s probably not what I should have come in and done today.” He then added: “Can I just say, if before that amazing song from Kate Bush, and I say if. You’d have had to be deaf if you didn’t hear a rude word.

“I really profusely apologise. You know when something happens and it’s just instinct. My very, very calm producer said ‘you’re still on the radio, Ian.”

After TV critic Scott Bryan shared the clip to his Twitter/X page, users were left in hysterics. One user simply replied with three crying with laughter emoji faces.

Another said: “I don’t [think] this will be going up on BBC Sounds with swearing in it.” They then questioned: “Didn’t it happen to Radio 2s Sara Cox Once?”

The incident comes days after fans of The One Show were left stunned as Lulu appeared to swear on live television. While reminiscing about her career with the presenters, the iconic pop star had a slip of the tongue.

However, it didn’t go unnoticed by viewers with keen hearing. While there wasn’t an immediate apology on air, the reactions of the presenters were unmistakable as they processed the unforeseen gaffe.

At the time, Lulu was sharing an anecdote about a conversation she had with Tina Turner. She quoted: “And Tina, I have to tell you something else. Tina said, ‘I love it, it is just my life story’ and I went, ‘Hey girl, it is my f***ing life story’.”

With a rueful smile, Lulu added, “I didn’t say it straight to her face, though,” which led to Alex slowly nodding, utterly speechless.

Viewers picked up on the moment and took to social media to vent their feelings. “Did I hear her right?,” one stunned viewer questioned.

Another, who was clearly entertained by the mishap, humorously commented: “Lulu just dropped an f bomb.”

Eamonn Holmes rants about ‘horrible’ former co-stars and brands them ‘false, false, false’

GB News host Eamonn Holmes has hit out at his former co-stars branding some of them “horrible” and “fake” during a recent episode of his podcast

GB News presenter Eamonn Holmes didn’t mince his words about former colleagues in the television industry, slating some as “horrible” and repeatedly calling them “false, false, false”.

On his latest podcast episode of Things We Like, Eamonn was joined by co-presenter Paul Coyte and tough guy actor Ray Winstone. During a candid conversation, The Departed actor Ray shared insights on his life in Los Angeles and how the Hollywood buzz led him back to the UK, starting Eamonn on a scathing rant about the entertainment world.

Ray said: “I couldn’t live in LA, it’s constant,” and pointed out: “Even the guy who puts petrol in your car works in the industry. It’s like every two minutes, it’s all they want to talk about.

“We talk about birds and football and boxing, you know, they talk about movies. Hollywood and Los Angeles are wonderful places when you’re doing alright, but when you’re not.”

Eamonn, fresh from his departure from his long-standing gig at This Morning, jumped in to sound off on his disdain for phony relationships within showbiz circles, reports Belfast Live.

The seasoned presenter, not shy about his feelings regarding people in the biz, spoke in a mocking tone: “‘I don’t like this character, I don’t like so and so, I like that person, I didn’t get on with them,'” before hinting at similarities between himself and Winstone, saying, “That’s what the business is based on. I mean, I’m like you [Ray Winstone]. I get myself into trouble because if I don’t like someone, they’ll know I don’t like them.”

Adding fuel to the fire, Eamonn remarked on the frequent hypocrisy he encounters, noting: “And there are so many horrible people that you end up with. People say: ‘Oh, he’s lovely, he’s fantastic’.”

Eamonn Holmes has recently shared his candid views on celebrity genuineness, stating: “If they say to me: ‘What’s that Ray Winstone like?’ I’ll say he is lovely and he is fantastic and people will believe me because I wouldn’t say it if you weren’t, but so many are just false, false, false.”

While discussing the authenticity of stars in showbiz, all three men found common ground, although they refrained from naming individuals associated with their sentiments.

Rumours once circled about a rift between Eamonn and his former GMTV co-star Anthea Turner during the 90s, but both have indicated that any past issues have been resolved.

In recent times, Eamonn has not held back on expressing his opinions about ex-This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield following Phillip’s departure from ITV due to a controversial relationship with a younger man within the company.

Prince Harry and Meghan ‘sent message from royals with bold Trooping the Colour move’

After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s last Trooping appearance in 2019, the royal family at large decided to send a message to the Sussexes as a response to them quitting their royal duties

The royal family sent a “significant message” to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ahead of the annual Trooping the Colour in years past, according to a royal expert, resulting in their noticeable absence on the Buckingham Palace balcony.

Harry and Meghan last attended the monarch’s birthday celebrations in 2019, appearing on the Buckingham Palace balcony alongside other senior royals just one month after their eldest child Archie was born. In 2020, Harry and Meghan famously quit their royal duties and started a new life in California. After they relocated to Montecito, the 2020 and 2021 Trooping the Colour celebrations were stripped back due to Covid restrictions.

When the grand procession returned for 2022, Harry and Meghan were noticeably missing from the balcony line up. The following year, Prince Harry shared that “for the first time in his life”, he was not invited to attend Trooping the Colour , with only senior working royals appearing at the Palace.

The Daily Mail’s Richard Eden said in a television appearance in 2023 :“[This is] the first year of his life that Harry hasn’t been invited at all. With Harry and Meghan, we’ve always had a sort of ‘will they, won’t they’ before every big royal occasion. Well, it seems like the palace has tackled this this time by just not inviting them at all. So, you know, it’s significant.”

According to the royal expert, the royal family wished to present a united front, even after Harry and Meghan moved to America, and hoped they would still attend some of the biggest events in the royal calendar.

As Richard Eden clarified: “When Harry and Meghan quit royal duties, I think officials were very keen to stress that they would still be invited to occasions such as Trooping the Colour so the fact they haven’t been invited is very significant.”

With the 2025 Trooping the Colour merely hours away, it is the belief of many royal experts and fans alike that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle won’t be attending this year’s celebration.

It has not been confirmed as yet by Buckingham Palace which royals will appear on the balcony for the RAF flypast, but it’s expected that only working royals will be in attendance in keeping with the tradition of the last two years, which would rule Harry and Meghan out.

The annual event of Trooping the Colour has marked the official birthday of the King or Queen for more than 260 years. The ceremony involves hundreds of horses and soldiers carrying out complex battlefield drill manoeuvres to military music. More than 1,400 soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians come together for the impressive display.

During the parade, the royals will travel from Buckingham Palace down The Mall to Horse Guards Parade in a procession – either on horseback or in carriages. At Horse Guards, they then watch the military display before joining the procession back to Buckingham Palace once it is over.

After the parade, the royals then gather on the Palace balcony for a march-past and the fly-past by the RAF, which includes the Red Arrows, and will conclude the day’s celebrations.

Katie Price has revealed what her most painful surgery ever was just days after her latest procedure. The 47-year-old former glamour model is a regular under the knife, but admitted she was sworn off having surgery in the UK following a botched operation.

Mum-of-five Katie recently showed off her new look after having more filler in her bum. But she admitted a botched Brazilian butt lift was her worst operation to date.

Katie opened up to Katherine Ryan on her What’s My Age Again? podcast. Explaining the procedure was the one she most regretted, Katie said: “I tried that BBL abroad where they take your own fat and put it in your bum. It was so painful. And it just did not look right on me.”

“I would never have surgery in England again. Ever, ever,” she confessed. “I’d always have it abroad.”

Despite fans recently sharing their concerns for Katie’s new appearance, she has pleaded with them not to worry. Katie, who has admitted she suffers from body dysmorphia, caused concern when she rocked up on stage in Portsmouth on Saturday for a Pride event.

In the appearance, she showcase her tiny frame and gravity-defying Brazilian Butt Lift after she recently admitted she had lost weight because she ‘wanted to’. However, fans online urged her to quit with the body changes.

To date, Katie has had at least 16 boob jobs, three rhinoplasties and two facelifts. She has also had a number of other cosmetic changes.

Despite fans’ concerns, Katie said of her weight loss on Rob Moore’s Disruptors podcast: “Yes I’ve lost weight. Yes that what I’ve wanted to do, I’ve wanted to lose weight.”

“The past three, four years ago when I broke my feet and I was in a wheelchair for 10 months because they said I’d never walk again, and obviously you put weight on being in a wheelchair. And then I did all the IVF stuff, that also puts on weight. So yeah I did put on weight and I hated it, I felt uncomfortable and it wasn’t me.

“Now I’ve gone back, now the IVF that’s all come out, and I’m more active because I could do more because of my feet, and I’m horse riding again, then naturally, I’m going back athletic again.”

She went on to say her slim physique is down to a balanced diet and exercise.

PMDD red flags as Vicky Pattison opens up about health battle

PMDD is a more intense form of premenstrual syndrome (PMS), which describes various distressing symptoms occurring in the week or two before a period

Vicky Pattison has opened up about her ‘terrifying’ battle with premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) in a candid social media post. While the TV star’s symptoms are always up and down, she said ‘nothing could have prepared’ her for this debilitating past month.

“Usually there’s no real rhyme or reason,” she told fans on Instagram yesterday. “But last month, I knew I was in for a bit of a rough ride- I hadn’t done anything that I know helps alleviate my symptoms.

“I hadn’t been consistent with my supplements, my diet was atrocious and my schedule was just unrelenting so I went into my luteal phase not really standing a chance. But despite my concerns, nothing could have prepared me.”

PMDD is a more intense form of premenstrual syndrome (PMS), which describes various distressing symptoms occurring in the week or two before a period. For Vicky, this involved ‘crippling anxiety,’ insomnia, and troubling thoughts, as she conveyed feelings of worthlessness and believed that the world ‘would be a better place’ without her.

Sadly, she isn’t alone in her experience. A 2021 study found that women with PMDD are four times more likely to have suicidal thoughts than others and nearly seven times more likely to attempt suicide.

Besides its severe impact on mental health and energy levels, PMDD can also manifest as physical symptoms. According to Mind, these generally include the following:

  • Headaches
  • Feeling bloated
  • Changes in your appetite, such as overeating or having specific food cravings
  • Sleep problems
  • Breast tenderness or swelling
  • Pain in your muscles and joints

While the cause of PMDD is mainly unknown, some suggest it may be related to hormonal differences or even past physical or mental trauma. Despite the crippling nature of this syndrome, PMDD is often considered a largely understudied health condition. This could mean that countless cases are being overlooked.

Dr Gareth Nye, a Senior Lecturer at Chester Medical School (@dr.gareth.nye ), previously told the Express: “It is largely undiagnosed for two major reasons. First is a lack of understanding from medical professionals about the condition and the impact it may have.

“Secondly, it may be due to the woman herself not realising her experiences are not normal and can be treated and managed. We see many female-centred conditions falling into these brackets. The menopause, for example, can be quite severe for some however women may just assume it’s normal.”

Dr Nye also mentioned that for a ‘successful diagnosis’, a woman would usually need to exhibit at least ‘five symptoms’ of PMDD, even if they occur only for a brief period during the menstrual cycle.

So, if you’re worried about having PMDD, it’s beneficial to track your symptoms over the month and share this with a doctor. Doing so may help to rule out the possibility of other health issues.

Dr Nye added: “These changes make day-to-day life during this time extremely difficult and it may result in changes in work or home life. It can become more of an issue if support networks or employers do not understand the severity of the condition.”
