It’s Wednesday, June 11, and one star sign prioritises work, while another makes a new work friend.

There are 12 zodiac signs – Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces – and the horoscopes for each can give you the lowdown on what your future holds, be it in work, your love life, your friends and family or more.

These daily forecasts have been compiled by astrologer Russell Grant, who has been reading star signs for over 50 years. From Aries through to Pisces, here’s what today could bring for your horoscope – and what you can do to be prepared.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)

A change of scenery will do you the world of good. A free spirit like you finds it stifling to stay in the same place or situation for too long. Look into the possibility of travel, either now or later this year. Concentrate on a long-term goal and keep telling yourself that you can and will realise a long-held dream.

Taurus (Apr 21 – May 21)

A decision you and a small team have reached will be a bold one. It isn’t often you are prepared to take a risk but you are confident you have made the right choice. Despite the things that can go wrong, there are significant advantages if they go right which is what you are hoping for.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21)

A new project or assignment will mean working with someone you hardly know. Once everything is underway, you will develop a strong rapport. An older colleague will offer valuable advice on how you can reach an important objective.

Cancer (June 22 – July 23)

You’re thinking about your health and well-being. If you’re hoping to lose some weight, increase your activity levels and make gradual changes to your routine. Nutritious foods and regular exercise will not only boost your energy but will help increase your concentration levels too.

Leo (July 24 – Aug 23)

Thoughts of work and romance are on your mind although it will be your job that takes the lead in your priorities. Arrange some time this evening to make the most of a chance to be alone with your other half. Embrace this moment; it’s where you should be right now.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sept 23)

The more flexible you are, the easier you will find it to push through any challenges that arise. There may be some opposition to your ideas but you will find a way to handle this kind of resistance. Your commitment to achieving success enables you to cope under difficult circumstances.

Libra (Sept 24 – Oct 23)

A close relationship is unpredictable bringing moments of joy and happiness followed by phases of distress. You feel you are on an emotional roller coaster and events today will make you accept the need to take steps to escape this cycle.

Scorpio (Oct 24 – Nov 22)

Advice should be sought for a property or family dispute. You’re relying on someone to keep their promises when this may not happen without legal support. Money that is owed to you may be delayed. You won’t want to upset anyone but you need to battle for money or property that is rightfully yours.

Sagittarius (Nov 23 – Dec 21)

With you having to deal with a difficult partnership problem, this can hold you back from fully supporting other people in your life who are just as important to you. It may be necessary to seek the advice of someone you can trust if you are to sort out a joint issue, soon.

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 20)

You’re keen to impress higher-ups and yet you are growing weary of putting in so much effort without getting any kind of acknowledgement. Challenge yourself to step outside your comfort zone. Put some creative and imaginative thought into routine endeavours.

Aquarius (Jan 21 – Feb 19)

A situation you had not expected to come across will require some quick thinking. A difficult issue could have been avoided had a friend or colleague admitted to their errors. Instead, others will look to you to assume responsibility for the problems they have caused.

Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)

Don’t listen to someone who seems to like to criticise and this never sounds like constructive criticism to you. Ignore their negative comments and focus on performing your job to the best of your abilities. Your efforts will be recognised and rewarded.

Jaw-dropping moment Bridgerton actress has phone stolen in Joe & The Juice

Genevieve Chenneour, who plays Miss Clara Livingston in Netflix hit Bridgeton, defended herself after Zacariah Boulares struck in a branch of Joe & The Juice in Kensington, west London

These dramatic images show a Bridgerton actress bravely defend herself from a teenage thug who pinches her phone in a trendy coffee shop.

CCTV captures Genevieve Chenneour, 27, fight back in front of stunned customers in the Joe & The Juice in Kensington, west London, after Zacariah Boulares, 18, had pounced. The teenage thug admitted robbery and possession of an offensive weapon and will be sentenced next month.

Ms Chenneour, born in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, said: “They didn’t expect me to stand up for myself – but I did. Getting a coffee shouldn’t be something you need your wits about you for. I’m so grateful to the staff at Joe & The Juice – they were incredible during the incident and when I went back to see them after.”

It has now emerged Boulares, a serial phone thief, threatened to behead singer Aled Jones during a terrifying Rolex robbery in Chiswick, west London, in July 2023 – when the yob was just 16. He was sentenced to a two-year term at a youth detention centre, but was released after just 14 months – and able to carry out more crimes, including the one at the Joe & The Juice.

Stills from the CCTV at the juice bar show the hooded Boulares lurking behind the actress, who was out with a friend walking her dog. He took the star’s phone and assaulted another customer, Carlo Kurcishi.

But Ms Chenneour, who has played Miss Clara Livingston in Bridgerton since season three, quickly leapt into action and took down the thief with the help of her friend. The fearless actress put her arm out to block the thief from leaving and then dislodged the phone from his hand.

Retrieving the iPhone from the floor, she then used the device to strike Boulares who was left helpless on the floor. The tussle would continue for four minutes, after which the humbled yob left the café without the phone. Police were called to reports of theft and an assault on February 8.

Boulares appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on May 29, where he pleaded guilty to stealing the phone and assaulting Mr Kurcishi. He also admitted stealing a black leather hand bag from a diner at a pizza restaurant in London’s West End on 30 January this year. The teenager, an Algerian national, was remanded into custody and will now be sentenced on July 17 at Isleworth Crown Court in west London.

Kate Garraway wakes up in middle of night panicking she hasn’t given Derek his medicine

Kate Garraway, often a host of Good Morning Britain, looked after her husband Derek Draper, who died in January 2024 following a cardiac arrest after a journey with long COVID

Kate Garraway, pictured in a documentary in March, says it is vital more is dobe to support carers

Kate Garraway described the “tsunami of sadness” she experiences after she often wakes in the middle of night panicking she hasn’t given husband Derek Draper his medicine.

The broadcaster, a regular on Good Morning Britain, has detailed the “joys and responsibilities” of being carer in a candid article following Derek’s death aged 56 in January 2024. The lobbyist had a lengthy journey with long COVID, during which Kate, 58, became his primary carer.

Kate, who had two children with Derek, held his hands until the very end, she said in a previous interview. In her latest piece, the presenter told how she continues to grieve the psychotherapist, whom she married in 2005.

The mum wrote: “Being a carer, its joys and its responsibilities, stays with you even after you have lost the person. I still wake up in the middle of the night panicking that I haven’t given him his medicine, or that I have forgotten to move him every hour to prevent the painful contractions in his limbs.

“The next second I realise he no longer needs that care. There is a moment of relief — that I did not let him down — before a tsunami of sadness hits.”

Nearly 60 per cent of carers struggle to look after their own health, a report by non-profit organisation Carers UK this week shows. Four in ten have cancelled medical appointments to prioritise the person they look after and 1.2million live in poverty, including 400,000 in deep poverty.

Kate refers to these figures in her piece for The Sun, stressing her own health suffered during Derek’s battle. She experienced a “heart event” in November 2022 on her way into work for Good Morning Britain, and was dashed to hospital. It is likely she will need surgery for her autoimmune thyroid condition.

Kate, originally from Abingdon, Oxfordshire, added: “My autoimmune thyroid condition — neglected during Derek’s illness — has now worsened significantly. Surgery now looks likely. It could have been avoided.

“During a three-week gap in care, while the system tried to work out which agency should give Derek the life-saving care he needed, I had no choice but to try to get through looking after Derek 24/7 completely alone.”

Unpaid carers, Kate says, save the country £184billion a year — more than the entire NHS budget. However, the broadcaster argues more needs to be done to support them, and has called on Rachel Reeves, Chancellor of the Exchequer, to consider this when delivering today’s spending review.

Disney+ drops to £1.99 in rare deal Netflix and Amazon can’t beat

Disney Plus has brought back a mega monthly deal that shaves 60% off its usual price and makes it the cheapest streamer compared to Netflix, Prime Video and Apple TV+

Brits can get Disney+ for £1.99 per month

Disney+ is offering a subscription for £1.99 with the return of a hugely popular streaming deal. The streamer from the House of Mouse has just kicked off a ‘limited-time promotion’ that saves 60% compared to the usual price.

It allows both new and returning customers to subscribe to Disney+ Standard with Ads for £1.99 per month for four months. This would usually cost a total of £19.96 but is now up for grabs for £7.96 – a £12 discount.

However, the deal won’t be around for long and is due to expire on June 30. After the four-month promotional period, Disney+ Standard with Ads will automatically renew at the then-current monthly retail price until cancelled.

It comes ahead of a packed summer slate of new and returning films and series, led by Disney blockbuster Snow White, streaming now.

Also on the way this summer are Marvel’s Ironheart (June 25), season four of The Bear (June 26) and new prequel series Alien: Earth (August 13). Disney+ has brought back its popular deal that lets new and returning customers join its Standard with Ads plan for £1.99 per month for four months.

The £1.99 deal also provides access to the Stolen Girl, Good American Family and season two of the beloved reality series, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. For those put off by the prospect of adverts interrupting their viewing, the Disney+ plan plays on average less than four minutes of ads per hour of TV, which is less than on terrestrial TV.

What’s more, adverts will only play before a film starts and not during. Aside from the deal, Disney+ also offers the equivalent of two months free to those paying for a year upfront on the Standard or Premium plan.

Opting for an annual plan provides 12 months access for the price of 10 and saves up to £25.98, as well as higher video quality up to 4K UHD and HDR and the ability to stream on four devices simultaneously. Of the many positive reviews left by Disney+ members on Trustpilot, one says: “Offering a fantastic and constantly updated collection.”

Another says: “I love Disney+. I’m a Star Wars and Marvel fan but since the addition of Starz it boosted my love, there’s even more content for adults now that’s worth it all round.

However, the same user added: “Only reason it didn’t get five stars is Disney are not using their other brands in the subscription. If they did this could easily be the best subscription service ever but there is much more content locked behind their own service.”

Real reasons Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin split after eight years laid bare

Actress Dakota Johnson and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin separated after nearly eight years together, which reportedly left the Fifty Shades film series star feeling “incredible pain”

Dakota Johnson became unhappy longtime beau Chris Martin was “dragging his feet” over their wedding date, sources have claimed.

The couple are believed to have ended their eight-year relationship in part over frustration around this, as Dakota, 35, was “sick” a date hadn’t been set. The pair got engaged years after starting their on-off relationship in 2017, following Chris’ divorce with actress Gwyneth Paltrow.

A source told Page Six: “She was sick of him dragging his feet on setting a date for the wedding.” Chris, 48, had been married to Gwyneth for 13 years and has two children with the actress.

And other sources close to Dakota and Chris understand the couple have had disagreements about having kids together. Another insider said: “They broke up over Chris Martin not wanting to have more kids.”

Unlike the Coldplay singer, Dakota has never been married previously and she doesn’t have any children. A source previously told the Sun: “They really tried to work through their issues but the age gap was often a problem. She’d [also] expressed that she may want children in the future, whereas Chris is kind of done with that part of his life.”

The source further told the outlet that Johnson and Martin had been “back and forth on issues for years” — and had discussions about everything, including children.

The split reportedly left Dakota, who was in the Fifty Shades film series and last year’s Madame Web, feeling “incredible pain”. Coldplay’s epic world tour continues and Dakota has been away on shoots for upcoming films Materialists and Verity recently. It is thought their flourishing careers have also provided challenges for their relationship.

A source had told The Sun: “Dakota wanted this relationship to work. She not only loves Chris, but his two kids, and that loss feels incredibly painful. The decision to end things was amicable, but Dakota is finding it hard. Over the past year, it became clear that their relationship had stalled and wasn’t moving forwards.

“Settling down, as in Chris properly taking his foot off the pedal, isn’t going to happen. And, ultimately, it was one of the many straws that broke the back of them.”

When news of the couple’s split emerged recently, an insider told the press: “They just haven’t been able to figure out to make it official. Dakota held a flame for them to be together because she loved him so much and loved his kids so much.

Taylor Swift files restraining order against stalker: she fears ‘immediate harm’

Pop star Taylor Swift has filed a restraining order against a man she claims visited her Los Angeles home multiple times and made concerning statements about her

Taylor Swift has taken out a restraining order against an alleged stalker, citing “emotional distress” and fears of “immediate harm.”

The pop sensation sought legal protection on June 6 after claiming a man repeatedly turned up at her Los Angeles residence, professing she is the mother of his child. In her court filing, 35 year old Taylor detailed allegations against 45 year old Brian Jason Wagner from Henderson, Colorado, accusing him of making delusional claims about residing at her property.

She further asserted that the man harboured illusions of “being in a relationship with me … believing I am the mother of his son … [and] needing to see me in person.”

The ‘Cruel Summer’ singer branded these assertions as “untrue and disconnected from reality.”

Her petition recounts that the individual first appeared at her home on July 9, 2024, and allegedly made several more visits within the same month. Taylor’s statement to the court reiterated: “During each of these visits, I am informed that Mr. Wagner made various statements about living at my property (not true), being in a relationship with me (not true), believing I am the mother of his son (not true), and needing to see me in person, all of which are untrue and disconnected from reality,”, reports the Mirror US.

Taylor Swift has taken legal action against an alleged stalker named Wagner, who reportedly showed up at her LA home on two consecutive days, May 21 and May 22 this year. According to court documents obtained by The Mirror US, Taylor stated, “I am informed that on May 21, 2025, and May 22, 2025, Mr. Wagner again appeared at my Los Angeles property asking to see me personally and stating that he was there checking on a friend (again, this is entirely untrue).”

The ‘Shake It Off’ singer’s security team discovered through a criminal history report that Wagner had been previously jailed, where he penned lengthy writings about his obsession with her, detailing a non-existent romantic relationship and involvement in her personal life.

Swift further claimed that Wagner bombarded her staff with “hundreds of emails with similarly concerning and threatening language” and shockingly altered his driver’s license address to match her LA residence. In a firm declaration, Taylor asserted, “I have no relationship with Mr. Wagner and have never met or communicated with him. There is absolutely no legitimate reason for him to be attempting to contact me or my staff, to approach my home, or to make representations that he lives there.”

Taylor Swift has expressed grave fears over her safety in a recent court filing, claiming, “I do not share publicly where I reside and have never shared my address or the location of my Los Angeles residence with Mr. Wagner. Therefore, the fact that Mr. Wagner has determined where I reside and visited the property several times, refusing to leave and claiming to need access, makes me fear for my safety and the safety of my family.”

Her legal declaration also states, “The fact that both of these recent visits and Mr. Wagner’s inappropriate and threatening communications to my staff about me have escalated in recent weeks creates a fear of imminent harm.”

A restraining order, issued on June 9 and effective until a court hearing on June 30, strictly forbids Wagner from contact with Swift, maintaining a 100-yard distance from her, her home, her car, and her workplace.

The document asserts, “If an officer has probable cause to believe that the restrained person had notice of the order and has disobeyed the order, the officer must arrest the restrained person.”
