Butlin’s is having a major summer sale throughout 2025 and 2026, with up to 40% off sales available right now. This includes special Justin Fletcher Tots Breaks starting at just £79 in September, Summer Holidays Feating Stephen Mulhern 3-night getaways starting at £69 in June, and Midweek Showtime breaks at Bognor Regis starting at just £69 in June.

Butlin’s resort resort, which has recently undergone a renovation, is making the most of its summertime visitors. The resort’s largest-ever indoor soft play facility and brand-new Puppet Theatre have been unveiled.

Families across the country are already taking advantage of the new attractions, with many more predicted to descend during the school holidays. The new soft play center has a capacity of double the previous attraction’s 3, 000 square feet, which makes it possible to accommodate up to 200 lively little explorers at once.

The Skyline Soft Play caters to children of all ages, with each zone featuring a different butlin’s Skyline Gang character. Each character has a large multi-sensory area for babies, as well as a dedicated section filled with slides, climbing challenges, log ramps, cargo nets, and other things.

There is a cozy new 100-seat café area where parents can unwind with a cup of coffee if they need a break while the kids play. This most recent addition to the soft play facility, according to Bristol Live, follows the £15 million PLAYXPERIENCE, a cutting-edge 50, 000 square feet immersive gaming attraction, that opened last year.

A brand-new Puppet Theatre has been added to the West Sussex resort’s exciting soft play facility. With new productions like Under the Sea, Jingle in the Jungle, and Christmouse allowing guests to enter the magical world that awaits them this year, this enchanting venue will house captivating, family-friendly string puppet shows.

The puppet shows are complimentary for Butlin’s breaks and day trips to make family vacations more affordable. The entertainment team’s thrilling experience includes mesmerizing string-pulling action, hilarious characters, and plenty of “oohs” and “aahs” from the kids.

The most recent in a line of exciting developments to be made in Butlin’s three seaside resorts is a £1.8 million investment. The £15 million indoor activity complex PLAYXPERIENCE in Bognor Regis offers nine immersive gaming experiences, including laser tag, an arcade for VR games, escape rooms, and more.

Additionally, a second $ 2.5 million SKYPARK in Minehead has opened, making it accessible to children of all ages. A significant £12 million was also invested in the brand-new Maple Walk Premium Lodges in Skegness last year, which have 128 contemporary lodges located in the resort’s heart of Lincolnshire.

Millions of families visit holiday parks each year to join in the fun, and they continue to be a beloved part of Great Britain. Haven Holidays is renowned for its breathtaking coastal views and a variety of caravan accommodations if Butlin’s isn’t quite the right fit. Although Butlins is unchallenged for providing top-notch family fun with its array of immersive and themed adventures, it’s a wonderful choice for those drawn to the call of nature and traditional seaside excursions.

With 66 parks spread along the country’s sought-after coastal regions, Parkdean Resorts shares a similar vibe. Parkdean thrives in keeping with the values of Choing Haven, which includes inviting pools, convenient on-site dining, and a variety of family-friendly water sports.

Many families are fond of Center Parcs, which is known for its variety of activities set among the UK’s enchanting forests. The only drawback is the price, which is notably high over school breaks, despite being widely adored.

TripAdvisor has received more than 3, 900 five-star reviews for Butlin’s Bognor Regis. A guest recounted a wonderful Easter break at Butlin’s Bognor, captivated by their experience. We had excellent weather, excellent entertainment, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Both young and old will enjoy this. Very pleased with the new soft play, the Splash water park, and the outstanding customer service from beginning to end.

Another person expressed their gratitude, saying that this was their third time visiting Butlin’s in the last two years. The brand-new soft play and play experience are fantastic, soft play has very generous opening hours, and the staff is very watchful. It would appear to be a much better alternative to the arena soft play.

We had a fun-filled tots week, according to one family member, and it was busy all day. We all enjoyed playing Neo games from the age of four right up until the 1960s with Playxperience.

Not all visitors, however, left with positive reviews. A less enthusiastic visitor expressed concern about running Butlin’s for half-term. Overall, everything was okay for us adults, with the exception of the awesome entertainment.

Bradley Walsh opens up on being ‘sacked’ from role as he talks The Chase future

Bradley Walsh, a The Chase presenter, has been a fixture on television for more than 20 years, but he had a very different career before beginning to gain a following in the entertainment sector.

Bradley Walsh has been a comedian, actor, and presenter for more than 20 years.

Bradley Walsh, the much-loved British television presenter who celebrated his 65th birthday this week, has previously hinted at “slowing down”, but with his jam-packed diary, it’s evident that day is nowhere in sight.

A familiar face on UK telly, he graces our screens with a variety of fan favourites such as ‘The Chase’, ‘Gladiators’, ‘Blankety Blank’, and hits the road in ‘Breaking Dad’ with his son Barney Walsh.

But before becoming a television mainstay, Walsh kicked off his career joining Rolls Royce as an apprentice jet engineer and then briefly glimmered on the football pitch after being scouted by Brentford FC, until an unfortunate injury curtailed his play.

Bradley Walsh
One of the most well-known TV personalities in the UK is Bradley Walsh.

Bradley’s first exposure to the stage life came when he entered the industry as a Pontins bluecoat entertainer. Despite having a tendency to enjoy fun and getting into trouble in previous jobs and school, he eventually lost this job due to his spirited antics.

Laughing at comedy. Walsh said in a statement to c.co.uk earlier this year, “I got fired from being the bloke that was messing around. I left that to enter the entertainment industry and become a blue coat.” That was my understanding! I ultimately thought, “Why don’t I just get paid for messing around?”

Walsh chose a comedy career after Pontins, saying, “That was a very conscious choice. So I’ve got a routine together with myself,” He described his comedic style as “very physical comic, a bit like Norman Wisdom, not a lot of jokes.” I had a very physical comic. And that is how everything began.

Bradley Walsh has been a comedian, actor, and presenter for more than 20 years.. His impressive acting portfolio includes stints as Danny Baldwin on ITV’s ‘Coronation Street’, DS Ronnie Brooks in ‘Law and Order: UK’ and taking on the role of Graham O’Brien in ‘Doctor Who’ aired on BBC One, reports Gloucestershire Live.

In 2009, Bradley took the reins as host of ITV’s quiz phenomenon ‘The Chase’, marking a strategic shift in his professional path. Walsh detailed how he snagged the opportunity to host The Chase after popping into ITV studios to enquire about presenting jobs.

She mentioned an upcoming quiz show concept while talking to Bradley during a conversation with the former head of daytime television. When asked about their discussion, Bradley responded, “Yes, this can work, this will work,” and she responded, “OK, we’re going to make a pilot,” and I said, “I’ll do it for you,” and she responded, “Ok, but it’s only an office run-through,” and I said, “I’ll do it for you, don’t worry.”

He made the reference to re-creating the pilot and creating the names for The Chasers during a recent appearance on the Tommy Tiernan show. Bradley still has a strong desire for The Chase despite nearly 16 years, and he has no intention of quitting right away.

In conversation with the Daily Mail, he mused about his tenure: “Until people say they’ve had enough and start switching off, I’ll do it. We’ve had such an extraordinary time together. It’s the best job in the world.”

Beyoncé beats the empty seats allegations on dazzling London return with just one problem

Tottenham is not the same as Texas, this is Tottenham. Queen Bey performed in the rainy days of her Cowboy Carter tour in White Hart Lane and was in her element during the star-studded country era.

Queen Bey reigns supreme at the top of her game as she performs to fans in north London(Image: TRUTH SOCIAL)

Beyoncé silenced the haters claiming she had ‘hundreds of unsold seats’ at her Cowboy Carter tour as she wowed an (almost) sold out crowd at White Hart Lane. Queen Bey even perched on top of a flying neon horseshoe to closer inspect the adoring fans packed into the far corners of the Tottenham stadium and filling the floorspace.

“Thank you for all your beautiful outfits. Thank you for dressing up,” she tells them, surveying the sea of denim, stetson hats and sequins around her. It seems everyone got the Cowboy Carter memo and came dressed for a hoedown in north London. “I postponed my wedding to come to this rodeo,” one fan sign reads.

Before she performed on stage tonight, there were rumors that Beyonce’s most recent tour hadn’t sold well and that large numbers of seats were still available. Only a few limited view seats are going spare once the band begins their dancefloor-filling American Requiem ballad, which some fans seize the opportunity to move to in an effort to increase their seats.

And the entire stadium was dancing all night long to songs from Beyonce’s country-inspired 2024 album as well as well-worn songs from her extensive back catalogue. Beyonce even adds some Destiny’s Child hits to really prove how successful she has been.

She excels thanks to flawless vocals, choreography, a flawless blend of bold stunts and stunning visuals. The Texas native climbs on top of a gold-plated bucking mechanical bull in one section as she gyrates and is thrown side to side without missing a note.

But this isn’t Beyonce’s first rodeo, and it’s no gimmick. Born and raised in Houston, Bey is a bona fide country girl, riding horses from an early age as home footage dating back to 1993 reminds the crowd.

BEYONCE COWBOY CARTER TOUR
Tottenham is the name of this place, not Texas.

The stunning video montage features Beyonce’s modest upbringing, as well as her obvious joy at performing alongside her idols Diana Ross and Tina Turner, as well as some of her career highlights, including singing at Barack Obama’s inauguration.

Beyonce’s last world tour Renaissance arrived in London just days after Tina’s death in May 2023, with the singer pausing her set to pay homage with a rendition of River Deep, Mountain High. Tonight, Beyonce focuses on her country roots as she belts out a revamped hit of another idol, Dolly Parton with female anthem Jolene.

The thrilling set features just one minor hiccup as perfectionist Bey transitions between “chapters” of hits. While performing some moves in the disco section, Beyonce’s gold-sequinned chaps suddenly loose and fall to her ankles, causing a backup dancer to frantically pull them back together at her hips. The crowd cheers with support until Beyonce can move once more as a temporarily frozen Beyonce laughs off the wardrobe malfunction.

Beyonce brings out daughters Blue Ivy and Rumi

The night then takes a moving turn as Beyonce brings out both daughters Blue Ivy and Rumi to the stage as she sings ballad Protector, written as a lullaby to them. Blue, 12, joined Beyonce on her latest tour becoming one of her stand-out backing dancers. On her debut, seven-year-old Rumi is already showing signs of the family’s entertainer gene as she confidently waves and beams to fans while adorably singing along with her mum. No doubt rapper dad Jay Z was somewhere in the crowd too proudly looking on.

BBC Radio’s Bryan Burnett announces break from show to have treatment for ‘rare’ cancer

Bryan Burnett will be taking a break from his evening show in Scotland next week to undergo cancer treatment, according to tonight’s BBC Radio news.

A radio host has announced that he will be taking some time off from his show as he undergoes treatment for cancer. Bryan Burnett shared the news with listeners live on BBC Radio earlier this evening ahead of surgery next week.

Bryan, 60, opened up about his health on his BBC Radio Scotland show Get It On tonight, which he said would be his last episode for a few months. He said that a tumour was discovered during appendix surgery earlier this year, with it announced that he will now have abdominal surgery and chemotherapy as treatment for appendiceal cancer.

He shared that his coworker Grant Stott, 58, will take care of him while he’s off work and that he is expected to make a “full recovery.” Bryan also expressed his gratitude to the radio station’s staff for their assistance with the most recent episode.

Bryan stated to the audience, “This is going to be my last show in a while, and I want to explain why that is.” He continued, “Unfortunately, I’m going to have to take some time off the show to get some cancer treatment.”

He continued, “Application cancer is incredibly rare but treatable, but I do need some surprisingly large abdominal surgery next week. They removed my appendix recently, and they discovered a tumor.”

You know how difficult it will be for me to find that, Bryan continued. “It’s going to mean I’m going to be off work for a couple of months.” I’m expected to recover fully, which is good news, and I’ll return to the show I adore later in the year.

He continued, “I also want to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to my brilliant producers for all the hand holding and encouragement that they’ve given me since they found out my news,” referring to his team, who he said is “close.” And I’m confident that they will keep track of how I’m doing over the coming weeks.

After paying tribute to his colleague, he then gave his name to the radio show as Grant. Grant Stott will do most of the shows when I’m off, according to Bryan, so I can be sure that Get It On will be well-versed.

The BBC shared this evening that in a short statement Bryan explained that his treatment involves complex abdominal surgery and chemotherapy.

Bryan also said in a statement shared by the BBC: “I’ve experienced the most incredible care and kindness from the NHS staff who have been looking after me. My surgeon is a Get it On listener so I know I’m in good hands.

Although our listeners have provided me with hundreds of great playlists, I will really miss the chat and music when I’m away, so that will keep me going for the next few months.

BBC Scotland director Hayley Valentine added: “Bryan is one of our most popular broadcasters on Radio Scotland and I know listeners will join us in wishing him well as he embarks on his treatment. We look forward to welcoming him back to the Get it On studio once he’s recovered.”

Beyonce London concert fails to sell out as empty seats visible despite cut-price tickets

With a large number of empty seats visible of the singer, the opening night of Beyonce’s London leg of her tour failed to sell out, giving everyone a chance to see her.

Beyonce held a ceremony in London to launch the UK leg of her tour.

Beyonce’s London takeover hasn’t started as she’d have hoped with the songstress left to sing to patches of empty seats on the first night. Queen Bey kicked off her show in the UK tonight as her Cowboy Carter tour’s six dates in the capital get under way.

The Single Ladies star, however, failed to sell out the opening night due to the enormous interest the concerts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium attracted. And that happens despite numerous offer-a-cheque offers in the run-up to the show.

The 62,000 capacity venue is set to host every date Beyonce has on her UK leg of the tour. She will then move on to Paris before heading back home to the states.

However, Thursday’s crowd-watchers were shocked to see how many seats were left out for the icon’s first night. Large sections of empty seats were clearly visible in images taken from inside the stadium. The restricted view options are thought to be the main cause of the emptiness.

It was a far cry from her 2023 Renaissance world tour. Two years ago, the UK leg sold out within minutes of going on sale.

But despite the inability to sell out, the former Destiny’s Child singer put on a memorable performance. One user on Twitter/X gushed: “London crowd took over Irreplaceable and Bey just stood there soaking it in smiling. Beyoncé didn’t even have to lift a mic. y’all gave her flowers with your voices. ICONIC.”

Another added, “Beyoncé is killing it tonight.” Wow. Even in the dreary weather. The best show so far is unquestionably coming to the UK.

Some people began lining up outside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at 4am on Wednesday because they were so excited to see their superstar.

Fans were adoring her performance as Blue Ivy and Rumi, Jay-Z’s daughters, took to the stage with her. As her mother sang to her adoring audience, Rumi, age 7, was seen waving to the crowd.

Rumi was seated next to her while Beyonce sang Protector. Before her mother wrapped her in a sweet embrace, she was spotted singing along to the song.

Following a string of dates in the United States where she had performed tracks from her eighth studio album, Beyoncé will now perform on June 7, 10, 12, 14, and 16. Following tonight’s successful show, Beyoncé will then follow.

Everyone who attends the final shows is reminded to adhere to strict rules. One hour before the stadium is finished, the bar will close at 10.30pm, which is the opening time for the stadium. Everyone should be aware of the bag policy, though.

Personal bags must not be larger than A4 in size (21 cm x 30 cm high). A clear carrier bag with a maximum length of 30 cm and height is available to those attending. However, you must not also pack any personal bags that don’t fit the requirements for those bags.

Michelle Keegan reveals Palma’s nickname as she shares adorable first holiday snaps

Fans have been given a glimpse into Michelle Keegan’s first holiday abroad with Mark Wright and their daughter Palma this week. The actor shared photos from the trip earlier as she revealed a nickname that she has given her baby.

Michelle and Mark, both 38, headed to Spain with two-month-old Palma for the vacation recently. The family spent a week on the Costa del Sol and the trip marked their first holiday abroad together, after the couple took their daughter on a “little break away” in the UK earlier this year.

Brassic star Michelle – who celebrated her birthday on Tuesday whilst on the holiday – shared photos from the experience on Instagram this evening. She tagged SO/ Sotogrande Spa & Golf Resort Hotel in her post today.

One photo showed Michelle cradling Palma whilst sat at a table. Another showed them shaded from the sun in an outdoor area, with the former Coronation Street cast member covering her daughter with a blanket in it.

Michelle confirmed to her followers that Palma was their first holiday by confirming that she had been given the nickname Princess P in addition to the photos. The phrase “Princess P’s first family holiday” was written in the post’s title.

Michelle just recently updated, who had earlier suggested that the holiday had come to an end. The best week ever waking up to this is what she wrote in a post on her Instagram account that featured the view from her room.

In another post, which showcased one of her outfits from the trip, she wrote to her followers: “Wore my latest [Very] collection every night on holiday. Which was perfect because my holiday packing was already done months ago.”

Michelle sharing the nickname for her daughter comes after Mark spoke about the decision over Palma’s name just weeks on from her birth. Whilst on This Morning in April, he discussed the choice of name for the newborn after Siân Welby suggested there was a “lovely sort of meaning” behind it.

Mark, addressing speculation that Palma was named after the resort on Majorca, responded to the host: “Well, that’s what the papers say.” He went on to share in the interview on the ITV morning show: “We just love the name.”

We “love the name Palmer with an er,” he continued, “and then we just liked putting an a’ on the end and we just liked the way it read.” He then concluded, “So, yeah, we just love the name, really, really, on the show.”
