The 76-year-old ‘Piano Man’ singer was slated to perform at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on 6 June 2026 and Anfield stadium in Liverpool on 20 June 2026.

Billy revealed the diagnosis to fans in a social media update, explaining that it affects hearing, vision, and balance. And in a recent update, his close friend and radio host Howard Stern, 71, revealed that the Piano Man singer is “doing fine” after receiving a message from the star.

Howard said on his Sirius XM show, The Howard Stern Show, “He does have issues, but he said, “You can tell people, I’m not dying.” He wants to let people know.

Joel and Howard recently had dinner together, and the radio host said, “He has to deal with some medical stuff, but he was delightful.”

He continued to talk about his “excellent conversation” with Billy and that the singer “brought out a guitar” as part of the early May celebrations for Billy’s birthday with co-host Robin Quivers.

Billy made the cancellation of his shows last month in a social media post. Due to a recent diagnosis of Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH), Billy Joel has announced that he will be canceling all scheduled concerts.

Recent concert performances have made this condition worse, causing balance, vision, and hearing issues.

Billy is currently receiving specific physical therapy and has been advised to avoid performing during this recovery period according to his doctor’s instructions. Billie is fully committed to putting his health first, and she is appreciative of the excellent care he is receiving.

He appreciates the fans’ support at this point and looks forward to the day when he can take the stage once more. “I’m sincerely sorry for letting our audience down, and thank you for understanding,” he said.

NPH is a rare and not well-understood condition that typically affects people over the age of 60, according to the NHS website.

Timothée didn’t appear in any of Kylie’s photos of the games, instead showing viewers the view from courtside seats. Similar to Madison Square Garden, two photos of players playing on the court didn’t include the couple.
