MAFS UK fans’ ‘jaws drop’ as Rebecca Fenney unveils identity of new partner

The Married At First Sight UK star has confirmed who her new partner is after announcing she had a ‘new love’ in her life

Married At First Sight UK viewers have been left stunned after a fan favourite from the 2025 series revealed her new romance.

Rebecca Fenney had declared she was on the hunt for an ‘Alpha’ when she signed up for the Channel 4 show, where complete strangers tie the knot upon their very first meeting. She was matched with Bailey Smith and although the initial chemistry wasn’t there, the couple quickly hit it off during their honeymoon getaway.

The pair went on to become one of the most solid couples of the series, with aesthetics clinic owner Rebecca even vowing to relocate from Liverpool to the south coast to be with the brewery boss and his young daughter Bluebell in the heart-wrenching finale.

Sadly, their relationship crumbled after filming wrapped, with the couple announcing their separation just days following the reunion special, reports OK!

In an extensive statement, Bailey tackled speculation that cheating had caused their split, writing: “I want to make it very clear, I never cheated on Bec at any point. I didn’t handle our break up well and for that I’m truly sorry to Bec, but I was completely loyal the whole way through our relationship.”

Now, following the messy break-up, Rebecca has finally let the world in on who her new beau is – and it’s certainly not who fans were anticipating. The reality star confirmed earlier this month that she had a “new love” in her life, though she kept their identity under wraps.

In a TikTok clip shared yesterday evening (18 December), she disclosed that her new love interest is Liverpool FC footballer Lily Woodham. In the footage, Rebecca explains: “In your thirties a girl will come into your life when you least expect it.

“You’ll question everything you’ve ever known about yourself. Who you are, what you are, how this feels so right? It’s important you don’t try and fight it. Let love in.”

“Well that’s a plot twist,” commented one reality telly enthusiast beneath the post, whilst another chimed in: “My jaw dropped. Plot twist. LOVE this for you.” A third remarked: “Absolutely love this and another win for the girls.”

Someone else, clearly not up to speed with their reality viewing, confessed: “I haven’t finished watching MAFS! It seems I’ve missed A LOT!”, as another follower gushed: “What a beautiful plot twist! Wishing you both nothing but the best.”

According to her Liverpool FC profile, Rebecca’s new girlfriend Lily signed with the club prior to the 2025/26 season, having transferred from Seattle Reign in America.

May Britt dead: Sammy Davis Jr’s ex-wife dies as son makes statement

Sammy Davis Jr’s former wife May Britt has died at the age of 91. The news was confirmed by the former couple’s son Mark Davis.

Swedish actress May died of natural causes at the age of 91 on December 11 at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana medical center in Los Angeles, Mark confirmed to the Hollywood Reporter.

Davis was at the time engaged to Canadian dancer Joan Stuart, but ended things with Joan soon after meeting May. The couple announced their engagement while in London in June 1960 and were married in November of the same year. During their marriage they welcomed a daughter Tracey Davis and adopted two sons; Mark and Jeff.

Sadly, throughout their relationship the couple were targeted with death threats and were forced to hire 24 hour security at times to protect them. Interracial marriage was illegal in 31 states in the US at the time of their marriage. Following her nuptials, May’s movie contract with Fox was not renewed.

In December 1968 the couple divorced, after Davis was linked to Lola Falana. However, May and Sammy Jr’s daughter told the Los Angeles Times in 2014 that the couple continued to be very much in love post-split. Tracey revealed that when she asked her dad why they broke up, Davis replied, “I just couldn’t be what she wanted to me to be. A family man. My performance schedule was rigorous.”

May was born as Majbritt Wilkens in Lidingö, Sweden, on March 22, 1934. Her parents were Hugo, a postal clerk, and Hillevi, a housewife. She began her career at 18.

Inside the Beckham’s Christmas as Victoria ‘determined not to let Brooklyn ruin big day’

The rest of the family will be staying at Victoria and David’s Cotswolds home, according to reports, while Brooklyn is reportedly spending Christmas in Miami with his actress wife Nicola Peltz and her parents.

Victoria Beckham is reportedly determined to not let the ongoing feud with her son Brooklyn ruin her family’s Christmas.

Sir David, 50, and Victoria, 51, are thought to have been in an ongoing feud with their eldest child and his wife Nicola Peltz since earlier this year. Brooklyn appears to have distanced himself from his parents and siblings for much of 2025, snubbing many huge family moments such as his mother’s show at Paris Fashion Week, the premiere of her Netflix documentary and both his father’s 50th birthday and knighthood.

The rest of the Beckham clan will spend the holidays at Victoria and David’s Cotswolds home, according to reports that Brooklyn and his actress wife Nicola Peltz and her parents reside in the mansion in Miami during the holidays.

An insider told The Sun “Victoria is determined not to let the argument with Brooklyn ruin Christmas, even though she is absolutely heartbroken by it. It’s been a year since they last all saw each other and it’s something she will never come to terms with. But she won’t let it get her down over the festive period as she needs to be strong, especially for Harper, as well as her parents and David’s parents.”

Friends of the Beckham family described the rift between Victoria’s mother Jackie and David’s mother Sandra as “very sad.” The source continued, “Sandy looked after him so much growing up, and she spent so much time with her parents Jackie and Tony for the first few years of his life. Harper aches for Nicola and her big brother. Victoria is hoping Brooklyn will at least make a Christmas phone call to his grandparents. She has given up on calling him.

It comes after Cruz Beckham sent another sign to his eldest brother that they should make peace as the family prepares to spend the festive season apart. Cruz, 20, is clearly missing his big brother as he shared a snap of the pair along with Romeo on a beach in Brazil.

It depicts a young chef posing on the beach with his arm around Cruz. Cruz also shared a photo of herself posing with Christ the Redeemer, a well-known Rio icon, and a more recent photo.

He’s also chosen to remind Brooklyn that he’s been thinking lately. Cruz and Cruz were a sweet couple as children when Cruz shared a sweet home video over the weekend.

Prior to that, Cruz had shared a family photo of himself, Brooklyn, Romeo, and their father during a 2021 vacation with the caption “Love you guys @davidbeckham @brooklynbeckham @romeobeckham.” Cruz’s apparent first address to the Beckham family feud has shattered the family.

The Mirror has contacted Victoria’s representatives for comment.

Ed Sheeran says fatherhood and fear of ‘feeling dreadful’ made him make big life changes

After having a clarity about becoming a father, singing sensation Ed Sheeran has acknowledged the significant life changes he made.

Ed Sheeran has spoken about his journey into getting fit after becoming a father – admitting he is a “pizza-eating, beer-guzzling smoker” at heart. Singer and songwriter Ed said he lived a pretty unhealthy life from 20 to 30 but had a moment of clarity when his eldest daughter woke him from an alcohol-induced slumber.

He exclaimed, “I became a father.” My oldest daughter, Lyra, and I had a bottle of wine and our best mate round when we were two weeks old. After I slept through the night, Lyra woke up 20 minutes later than I did. When I woke up, I was like, “F*ck, I probably shouldn’t drink if I’m going to feel this awful,” I want to be able to spend the night.

It all started with wanting to feel good and look good while also wanting to be a responsible father. I opposed having my back f****d and other such things picked up my child. And then there’s the professional life aspect; I wanted to be “superhuman” on stage.

The 34-year-old added in his chat with Men’s Health UK: “I think, underneath it all, I am a pizza-eating, beer-guzzling smoker, but that’s just not my reality as a parent in my thirties. I think that you have to make good decisions.

“My first 10K during Covid, which I’d never run for more than a kilometer, just makes you feel better. It’s like that.” And I believe that’s where I’m at in my 30s. I still drink, but I’m not saying I’m done with enjoying myself. Although I enjoy red wine and a good meal, it doesn’t happen every day.

A Team, Ed’s breakthrough hit, reached No. 3 in 2011 with a top-five finish. He recorded his first Number 1 single with Sing, which featured Pharrell Williams, in June 2014, and followed that up. Since then, he has become one of the most well-known artists in both the UK and the US chart.

All 16 of his albums, including Divide, made their debut in the UK Top 40 in 2017, which meant there is now only three lead artist entries on the chart. Additionally, Ed released his ninth Official UK Number 1 album with Play earlier this year.

He and Cherry Seaborn have two daughters, Jupiter Seaborn Sheeran and Lyra Antarctica, and they are married. Ed claimed that his motivation came from fellow artists’ routines, such as Stormy, who perform pressups before performing on stage. However, he believes that any parent his age will likely be affected by his lifestyle changes.

He added, “I do believe it’s relatable for parents to suddenly want to be a little more healthy and have a little more routine.” And the good news about reformer[/pilates] is that it’s a really gentle introduction to]fitness[/pilates] and that anyone can start with it. I don’t recommend running marathons for everyone, just blah. Additionally, I don’t sell anything that’s super-healthy, like this or that.

Brad Pitt scores legal win as Angelina Jolie ordered to hand over private messages

In what could be a significant development of the court case, Angelina Jolie has 45 days to comply with the decision.

Brad Pitt, 62, has won the latest round in his long-running court dispute with ex-wife Angelina Jolie, 50, over their former French winery, Château Miraval.

The mother-of-six must turn over a number of previously kept private messages related to the case, according to a ruling in a court in Los Angeles.

The messages are a part of the ongoing dispute over Pitt’s claim that the sale of Jolie’s stake in Miraval was made without his knowledge.

The former couple, who were married in 2014, co-owned the winery and even got married there. According to Pitt, there was a protocol prohibiting either party from selling their stock without the other’s consent.

The Tomb Raider star has always denied that there was a deal, and he has previously argued against Pitt, accusing him of acting harshly and trying to hurt her financially.

However, in court documents seen by People, a judge agreed with the Bullet Train star’s legal team that certain communications should be disclosed in full. Now, the actress has been ordered to provide un-redacted versions of messages exchanged between non-lawyers that were previously withheld. She has been given 45 days to comply with the ruling.

The messages, according to Brad’s legal team, could allegedly challenge her account of what she intended to do when she sold her stake in the business to a group connected to the Stoli Group.

In recent years, Brad and Brad have engaged in legal arguments, seeking damages totaling £28 million ($35 million) from the two because they allege the sale damaged the winery’s reputation and operations. By bringing a claim for such a sizable damages, Angelina’s attorneys claim that her ex-husband assumed the burden of producing documents.

The ex-couple’s legal juggles include the division of their shared assets and custody of Maddox, Pax, Pax, Pax, Zahara, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, both 16, among others.

After a tumultuous romance that began on the set of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” back in 2005, Brad and Angelina tied the knot in 2014. In 2016, Angelina filed for divorce in the same year, causing a tense row over custody and business interests, some of which are still unresolved.

The actor, who was once married to Jennifer Aniston until their breakup in 2005, appears to have found peace amid the chaos of fame.

Angelina’s attorney said in a statement that Brad and Angelina were “exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.”

Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt more than eight years ago, according to attorney James Simon, who spoke to the Associated Press. She and her children left all of the property they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since then, she has been trying to bring their family peace and healing.
