The celebrations come shortly after Vicky was sadly eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing. She told her dance partner Kai Widdrington she was “so sorry” they wouldn’t make it to Blackpool, where contestants will perform at the Tower Ballroom next weekend.

Vicky and Kai had ended up in the dance-off alongside EastEnders actress Balvinder Sopal, 46, and dancer Julian Caillon, 30. Sopal and Caillon performed their American Smooth to My Guy by Mary Wells, while Pattison and Widdrington jived to Sound Of The Underground by Girls Aloud.

Reflecting on her time on the show, Vicky said: “It was so lovely while it lasted and I’ve had the nicest time. I knew this week was a difficult one for me and I tried my hardest, as I have every week. Listen, I didn’t think I’d get past week one.

“And I’m really honoured to have shared this experience with so many amazing people. Mostly with this fella (Widdrington) right here. I don’t want to sound too cheesy but (to Kai) you’ve been the best partner a girl can ask for. I’m so sorry I didn’t get you to Blackpool but I feel like I’ve won just by having you as my partner and I’m so grateful.”

Kai responded: “Oh, goodness me. Where do I start? You (to Vicky) are everything that this series is about. Strong, confident, independent – and all that I can say is, I have loved every single second.

“I’m going to be gutted not coming to Blackpool with you on Monday. But I just want you to know that I feel like I have also won getting you as my partner, and you will live on in Strictly history forever.”

Kate Ferdinand in ’emotional spiral’ as stepson Tate surprises them in Dubai

Kate Ferdinand described the happy family life in Dubai as a “benefit” for the children’s happiness, but she also discussed a challenge she’s been facing.

Kate Ferdinand, her stepson Tate, flew out to Dubai to surprise her and her husband Rio at their new home, but they soon returned to the UK.

It comes as the star recently shared details surrounding her ‘isolated life’ overseas. Kate Ferdinand made the big move from Southeast London to Dubai with her husband Rio and their kids midway through August. Sharing a video of the moment Tate, 17, walked through the door and wrapped her in a hug before greeting Rio, 47, Kate said it was a moment she would never forget. Posting the clip, she wrote: “A memory I’ll cherish forever.”

Since the family recently relocated to the UAE, Kate explained how deeply misses Tate and his older brother Lorenz, 19 at the thoughtful surprise.

She admitted to loving surprises and said, “I think I’m pretty good at it, lol! ” despite having embraced life in Dubai. Knowing that Tate put in the effort to surprise us just feels so special. I’ve had the best two days, but now that he’s gone, I’m spiraling emotionally.”

However, the 34-year-old TV star made an open confession about the difficulties she encounters with other members of her family. She remarked, “We’re having the most amazing time in Dubai. The children are peaceful, prosperous, and secure, which is a truly wonderful thing. But wow, I miss Lorenzo and Tate so much. It’s difficult to express in words. counting the days until our reunion occurs.

Since their move, Kate has been keeping followers updated on their new chapter, sharing beachside photos, family outings, and visits from friends. In one recent post, she captioned a series of family snapshots: “Special times with our special people. Just missing our big boys”. The couple are now settled in an exclusive villa in Al Barari, a luxury gated community.

Alongside Kate’s family updates, Rio has been open about his thoughts on the UK’s rising taxes and why more people appear to be leaving the country. Speaking on LBC, he questioned whether taxpayers were receiving value for money. “If things like the health service, for example, was absolutely flying and working perfectly well then I think people wouldn’t mind paying tax”, he said.

“But when there’s things that are falling apart and going wrong in the country, then I sit there and go, we pay towards tax and is it really going towards the things that are actually benefiting the people that live here”? He added: “And that’s the big question that needs answering. I think a lot of us know the answer to that”.

Meanwhile, Rio says living in Dubai was so the family could start a new chapter in their lives and spend more quality time at home. “My family are seeing me so much more and I’m spending some quality time with them and I think that’s just been a great thing for me”, he said. “I love England and I’m a patriotic guy in that sense, but a new journey, a new chapter, something different, I think is a refreshing new chapter in my life”.

He expanded on this in an interview with The National, explaining that Dubai offered a healthier balance for their children and for him after years of a schedule dictated by football fixtures. “Lifestyle, safety, weather and just a new life”, he said. “I’m not leaving football, but it’s just not the governing body of my life now. I’ve got to be honest, it feels nice”.

Kate and Rio share two young children, Cree and Shae, while Kate is stepmother to Lorenz, Tate and Tia, who remain in the UK as the boys continue their football development at Brighton &amp, Hove Albion.

Heartbreaking final wish of Kessler twins who died by assisted suicide on same day

In their final years, Alice and Ellen Kessler, who have been dubbed the “Kessler Twins,” expressed a common hope as they considered their deaths.

One final heartbreaking wish was shared by twins Alice and Ellen Kessler after they made the joint decision to end their lives.

The Kessler Twins, who were born in the Nerchau region of Germany, were the first to perform ballet on stage with the Leipzig Opera, and it was obvious from a young age that they were going to become stars. However, their country experienced troubled times when they were young, and the pair emigrated from communist East Germany to West Germany in 1952.

Although the siblings were only 16 years old, they already recognized their desire for great things in life. Following these performances, Elvis Presley himself became one of the most well-known names of the time, and it wasn’t long before they caught the attention of some of the country’s most well-known names.

Alice and Ellen conquered America with performances on well-known variety shows like The Ed Sullivan Show after moving to Italy in 1962. Along with stars like Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, and Eddie Fisher, they shared the stage with the likes of Frank Sinatra and Fred Astaire during their extraordinary careers.

The sisters made one final choice as they neared the end of their lives: to commit suicide together that day. And they made their wishes crystal clear, as they had done right away.

Alice and Ellen discussed their final days together in a 2024 interview with German publication Bild, sharing that they wanted their mother’s remains, their dog, Elsa, and their combined ashes to be placed in an urn after. They also shared that they wanted their ashes to be placed in an urn after. Ellen clarified, “That’s what we stipulated in our will.”

Neither Alice nor Ellen married nor welcomed any children to whom they could leave their undisclosed fortune. Initially, they decided to leave everything to Doctors Without Borders, an NGO that provides humanitarian medical care in conflict zones across the world. However, after thinking it over, the sisters decided they “didn’t want to lump everything together”, instead opting to split the cash between various charities.

CBM Blind Mission, UNICEF’s Children’s Aid Program, Paul Klinger Artists’ Social Welfare Fund, and the German Foundation for Patient Protection are just a few of the organizations they’ve chosen.

Ellen explained how they came to the conclusion that there should be more than one person receiving something from each other. Instead of putting everything in one pot, we wanted to divide our inheritance more fairly. There are a lot of needs for donations. We still have a small sum of money, she continued. We invested our money wisely, never tossed it away, and made a very good profit.

It is understood that the siblings’ heirloom, which would include a 900 square foot garden with a pool, would not be small. Our lives have been defined by discipline, Ellen said. We are about to reach the end. We won’t be able to live long. Therefore, discipline is required to be applied to the conclusion.

According to the two women, who are both legally able to die in their home country of Germany, medical assistance is available. According to this article, Alice and Ellen “had chosen to end their lives together” and “no longer wanted to live.”

Although assisted suicide is not entirely legal in Germany, a landmark 2020 Constitutional Court decision established the right to a self-determined death, which implies that assisted suicide is legal and permissible.

Denise Welch addresses ‘storming off set’ as she calls out ‘patronising’ colleague

Denise Welch, a panelist for Loose Women, said she disagreed with the “patronizing” tone being slurred at the boss and confronted him on set.

Loose Women star Denise Welch revealed she once confronted a TV director and demanded an apology following an on-set clash. The 67-year-old said the incident occurred while filming a show she didn’t name, after her boss spoke to her in a “patronising” manner.

She revealed that she and co-star GK Barry were on set for a show 30 years ago and that we had roughly 20 rehearsals for the cameras at the time of the interview.

It was a challenging shot, they said. Something had to come out of the sugar glass. I’ll rehearse until the cows arrive, and then they said, “Okay, turn over.”

“And I just responded, “Oh, hang on a minute. Please excuse me. Could the actors only undergo one rehearsal? ‘. The director responded, “It’s okay. Don’t worry about that, my pretty little head. We won’t make you look bad.

When Denise explained her reaction, she said, “OK, I’m just going to take my pretty little head to my dressing room until you come and apologise to me.” because it’s very different from having a little banter from patronizing. Do you comprehend what I mean?

Denise claimed that she had “stormed off the set” at the time after GK praised her for taking a stand and leaving the set. She continued, “I mean, I never regretted it.”

“And I think it has more of an effect when something like that occurs because, when you are well behaved, you do toe the line, you’re not even remotely diva-ish,” he said.

When asked if the boss eventually apologized, Denise responded that he did, but “in a sort of, “You took it the wrong way,” which is obviously my fault. However, the people I wanted to see the video on the monitors were aware of the direction that it would take.

After a listener asked her for guidance on handling a difficult boss without HR support, Denise acknowledged the incident.

The actress suggested speaking with Citizens Advice, a free online resource for everything from debt to issues at work.

Denise has previously opened up about her past roles in a public manner.

Previously reflecting on shifts she’d witnessed at Coronation Street, the actress insisted that the programme had become too fixated on attracting younger audiences.

The soap star, who portrayed landlady Natalie Horrocks from 1997 to 2000, said in 2017 that the program, which has been produced by various people, has grown obsessed with this youth issue. The youth must be the center of everything.

However, kids no longer watch television as they did, which is almost redundant. They have short attention spans and are constantly watching everything on their laptops.

She continued in a conversation about ageism on BUILD that “when you watch Coronation Street, you talk to anyone, even the young people who do,” and they don’t want to see everything about the young people. They desire Barbara Knox, Sue Nicholls, and Helen Worths.

Big Brother star claims he was ‘fired from cleaning job’ over show axe

One former Big Brother housemate has claimed he was fired from his job as a school caretaker after complaints were made following his conduct on the ITV show

One former Big Brother star has claimed that he was sacked from his job as a school caretaker over behaviour that caused the show to axe him. George Gilbert took part in this year’s series of Big Brother until he was removed by ITV bosses for “repeated use of unacceptable language and behaviour”.

The Essex based parish councillor and former school caretaker wasn’t shy about sharing his political opinions whilst on Big Brother, frequently clashing with his housemates over his support of Nigel Farage and Reform.

He was issued a formal warning by Big Brother after he did a homophobic impression of housemate Sam Ashby, causing them to cry. George was later removed from the house after making vile comments which the show deemed to offensive to air.

Now, George has revealed that he has been told not to come back to his job as a school caretaker. Speaking on Andre Walker’s TalkTV show, he shared that he had been fired from the job after just two shifts. He claimed he was being “cancelled” and that he was fired because of his time on the show.

“I had this cleaning job and it took me just two shifts before some teacher got in touch with the agency that I was working for and said, ‘We don’t want George back on the school premises because of his offensive language used in Big Brother.'” George said.

“I got sacked, Andre. Cancelled from the show for some b******* reason, pardon my French, and now I can’t even be a b***** school cleaner.” He then posted a clip of his chat with Andre on Instagram, with the caption: “I’ve been cancelled again.”

According to reports, George was given several warnings off air about his language. He was later removed from the house, and though the reason was not revealed, it was reported that the decision was taken after George used anti-semitic language. He did not appear on Big Brother: Late and Live after his exit.

Speaking on about his exit on his YouTube channel, George revealed that he got his first verbal warning after made a comment in which he called Adolf Hitler “misguided”.

He added that he received another warning after telling another housemate that he did not want to have a child with a Black woman because “the gingerness would die a death”.
