Eamonn Holmes considering QUITTING England as tax row has ‘wrecked him’

After his 12-year stint on This Morning, Eamonn Holmes has been embroiled in a long-running tax dispute with the HMRC. He has hosted the breakfast show on GB News since 2022.

Eamonn Holmes is reportedly considering leaving England for his native Northern Ireland amid a long-running tax row.

The veteran broadcaster says the dispute with the HMRC has “wrecked him” as he has had to sell two homes, and still owes £250,000. Eamonn, 65, has on top of this recently suffered a nasty injury to his face and has reportedly faced “turmoil” in his new romance.

According to those close to Eamonn, who currently hosts the breakfast program on GB News, the actor is “clearly struggling” and frequently “in a foul mood” with the growing pressure on his shoulders. Friends have reportedly urged the father of four to return to Northern Ireland, where he is from, and “be a star there” because the situation has reportedly turned out to be so difficult.

In the beginning of his distinguished career, the journalist worked on shows in Northern Ireland, including for Ulster Television. One friend remarked on these accomplishments, “He will have a much nicer life [in Northern Ireland], but it seems like he’s clinging on to the fame in England.” Everything is very depressing.

Eamonn claimed last week that he still owes the HMRC money for an outstanding bill. The HMRC claims that this wasn’t the case when Eamonn insists that he was a freelancer when he hosted Sky’s Sunrise morning show for 11 years before it ended in 2016.

The broadcaster stated in a statement in Northern Ireland that “they still want another quarter of a million pounds off me… I’ve already given them more than a million pounds, but they won’t stop.” They want another £250, 000 because it is still ongoing. They have destroyed me.

They followed me and said, “We always said you were self-employed,” I replied. We want ten years of back taxes and national insurance because we’ve given it a thought; you’re not. So basically, they financially ruined me when I was most in need of it.

As a result, the grandfather has had to sell his home in Belfast, holiday pad in Portugal and yet still owes money to the authority. Despite speaking candidly about his woes, people close to Eamonn expressed concern about the challenges. One source told the Daily Mail: “It feels like everything is coming to a head. What happens on screen and what happens off-screen are very different. When the cameras roll, Eamonn still switches it on, but away from that it’s very messy. He’s in a foul mood, and everyone behind the scenes feels it… People’s patience is wearing a bit thin.”

Craig David reveals whom he always asks for advice when writing his music

In an interview, Craig David, a hugely successful musician who has won two Grammy nominations, including one for Fill Me In, recalled his remarkable career breakthrough.

Craig David says he always seeks his mum’s advice on his music.

The singer-songwriter praised Tina, the music industry’s assistant, for assisting him in launching a wildly successful career. Craig, 44, claimed that his mother, who is said to have no other children, has always contributed to his success since he first appeared on the scene with Fill Me In in 2000.

For me, it was taking my mother to Top of the Pops for the first time, Craig said in reference to his career breakthrough this week. Because we watched it together for so long, it was one of the most amazing experiences. You suddenly find yourself watching your son perform on stage. She is looking at me, just like I am. We’re glancing one another, and I’m like, “Wow!”

Speaking to The Sun, the singer said he now leans on his mum for advice and feedback. Craig, who saw Fill Me In and then 7 Days both top the UK charts in the same year, added: “You want your mum to be honest because she’s the only person who can be that honest.

In my bedroom, I used to write down lyrics and a melody, and then I came in and said, “How does this sound? ” I’ll always ask her what she thinks of my new songs. I am aware that the time will come for a response from her.

I am aware that it is good if it is quick, like “Oh my God, that’s the one.” I’m like, “I know you hate it,” if she is slower. But I have a lot of her back.

Craig, who has no children, previously claimed he had had a “warm” childhood. The chart-topping star, however, claimed that bullies continued to target him while he was a student in Southampton, Hampshire.

Even when teachers were leaving, “This started happening frequently, every day in that same corridor.” You would just lean in because you don’t want it to continue, but it lodged itself as a trauma because they would see what was happening and he [the bully] was very quick to put an arm around and make a big smile.

Inside Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay’s lavish wedding wishlist

Holly Ramsay and Adam Peaty are engaged to a lavish wedding, but family drama is looming due to his mother’s rumored absence from the big day.

The wedding of Holly Ramsay and Adam Peaty is expected to be lavish. The happy couple is getting ready for a lavish wedding on December 27 at Bath Abbey, followed by a lavish reception at Kin House Country Estate.

The Olympian, 30, and the model, who is also the daughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, 25, are planning one of the most high-profile festive weddings of the year – with A-list guests, luxury venues, and meticulous preparations already underway. The pair, who met through Holly’s sister Tilly during Strictly Come Dancing in 2021, have become something of a celebrity power couple and are now counting down the days to their Christmas wedding.

According to The Daily Mail, Peaty and Ramsay have also created a lavish wedding gift list that includes everything from a £1, 896 Big Green Egg barbecue and a £995 mahogany table to a £42 photo frame and a £23 budget option.

Many of the items are intended for their stylish Kegworth home, which the couple share, and the selection appears designed to suit guests ranging from David and Victoria Beckham to Gordon Ramsay. The pair have even included a £350 Japandi rattan baby chest changer, hinting at future family plans. Several high-end gifts from lifestyle brand Nkuku also feature on the list, alongside luxury home pieces such as an £800 cream recliner chair and a £130 rattan log basket.

However, a bitter dispute has surrounded the Peaty family. Only his sister will be present, though Adam is reportedly scheduled to get married to Holly.

Caroline Peaty, the mother of Adam’s son, was reportedly barred from the wedding after Holly Ramsay’s glamorous hen do at Soho Farmhouse. After extended Peaty family members weren’t given an invitation to the engagement party, tensions reportedly started to wane.

I texted Holly, saying, “You know how significant family is to you as it is to me. My sisters have attended every event since Adam’s birth, but they aren’t coming to the party.

She continued, “But Adam didn’t like that message I sent him. After Caroline’s absence from the wedding, tensions increased, and Adam Peaty’s father, Mark, did not show up for the stag.

She and Adam had argued about how to dress for the big day because she wanted to wear a cream outfit. He had offered to pay for four outfits for the entire day, but he turned down the offer, stating that Holly must be the only one who should wear white.

Adam Peaty was met by five police officers at the airport after leaving his stag do, reportedly out of concern for his safety, which increased the tension.

He was allegedly being contacted by his brother, 34-year-old builder James, who was detained on suspicion of harassment and questioned by police for two days before being released on conditional bail.

This conflict between Adam and Holly is heartbreaking on both sides, according to a source close to Adam and Holly. However, in reality, Adam believes that Caroline, his mother, is helping him with his brother’s deeds rather than putting him to sleep.
