Proud mum Peggy Gallagher has finally been to see the Oasis reunion – with Liam Gallagher dedicating a song to her tonight in Dublin. As the band performed Stand By Me, Liam could be heard saying: “This one I want to dedicate to my mum, my mum is here tonight.” There were big cheers from the fans at Croke Park in response.

Liam also dedicated Roll With It to the people of Charlestown, Co Mayo – where his mother hails from. Mid-song, he also turned to the upper tiers where she was expected to have been sitting and blew kisses as he mouthed: “I love you.”

The 92-year-old mum of Noel and Liam Gallagher is thrilled her sons have patched up their differences and reunited the band. She has spoken about planning to see them on the Oasis Live 25 tour too and still lives in Manchester, where she brought up her three sons in Burnage.

But Peggy avoided the all-standing Manchester shows so she could see them in comfort in a box when they played in Dublin. In an interview in June, Peggy was asked if she had anything to do with the reunion between Noel and Liam. It comes after Paul Weller reveals the unusual reason he refuses to watch Oasis concerts.

She said: “I was the instigator, yes. But sure, wasn’t it always going to happen at some time or other? It was their choice, of course. Look you can’t force them to do things they don’t want to do”.

She confessed she was relieved to see her sons working together again, following a years-long rift between the two. “It’s great, because nobody wants their kids falling out, do they?” she said, although she admitted to being nervous about the shows and would be “glad when it’s all just over because it makes me get too stressed.”

Peggy has been spending time with both Noel and Liam in the run-up to the live tour, and was on holiday with Liam and his partner Debbie in the South of France earlier in the year when Liam was on vocal rest. Speaking in the Sunday Times in 2019, Liam said: “Any good that comes out of me is all from Peggy and all her sisters and brothers.

“They were a good, close bunch of people. I never miss my father because my mother was both a mother and a father figure. She was there with the cuddle.

“She was also there with the whack. I’m generalising, dads’s there because dads give cuddles as well. But if I needed bringing down a peg or two she could do that, as well as elevate me.”

Meanwhile, Noel’s daughter, Anaïs has also been attending the concerts and just hours before her dad took to the stage, she shared a sweet message with Oasis fans on social media.

Anaïs shared a photo of an open window on her Instagram Story earlier today. She added a series of stickers over it, including a pint of Guinness and a packet of Tayto crisps. Another sticker featured the slogan “Erin go bragh.”

She wrote in the caption alongside the photo: “Woken up in the greatest nation on Earth.” Anaïs included the Pogues’ rendition of the folk song The Irish Rover, which was a collaboration with the Dubliners.

Andy Carroll breaks silence on Lou Teasdale row as he shares huge relationship update

It’s been a rollercoaster of a relationship for former England star Andy Carroll and celebrity hair stylist Lou Teasedale, with the pair now hoping to move forward together

Andy Carroll and Lou Teasedale are working on their relationship after a series of booze-fuelled rows caused them to reportedly split up. Former Premier League star Andy, 36, was said to have been desperate to make amends with mum-of-one Lou, after he was allegedly questioned by police during a trip to Greek party island Mykonos.

The final straw for Lou, 41, was said to have taken place during this year’s Glastonbury in June, which saw yet another bust-up between the pair. They had gone to Worthy Farm for a weekend away and to celebrate their one-year anniversary after meeting at the festival the year before.

But Lou left the festival early, leaving former Liverpool striker Andy there alone. It was also rumoured that Andy had initiated the break-up, but it emerged earlier in the week that it was actually Lou who called time on their romance. It comes after Andy Carroll ‘splits from Lou Teasdale due to her demands’ weeks after public row.

However, the pair appear to have turned it around and are making an effort to patch up their rocky relationship with the hope of moving forward together. Andy has admitted he’s been going through a tough time, with his divorce from TOWIE star Billi Mucklow causing him stress, but he loves Lou and her family.

Speaking to the Sun, Andy revealed: “Some of our rows have been about alcohol, as Lou has been teetotal for 14 years and I have a beer or wine at dinner and a drink after the game, but it’s not a problem in my life.

“I’m a professional footballer and that’s not the case. I play sports every single day, so my level of fitness is really good. I play football every day, so I’m fit.”

Andy also addressed an incident in which he and Lou were reported to have argued at a Mykonos restaurant, resulting in police arriving to question the star. He insisted it had nothing to do with alcohol and that the pair were actually arguing about him “having three coffees in the morning.”

The footballer, who has recently signed for Dagenham & Redbridge FC, said that Lou was concerned he had a caffeine addiction. A joint statement from them at the time said: “Whilst having a private dinner in a restaurant on a quiet holiday in Mykonos, we had a heated discussion of the sort that most couples have had on occasion.

“It quickly became apparent to the police that there was no reason for them to be there.” It added: “As far as we are concerned, the situation has been blown out of all proportion by an interested member of the public.

“No one was arrested, and no one was charged with anything. We are very happy, in love and looking forward to our future together, and we are disappointed that a private disagreement has become a public matter.”

The incident, in a packed restaurant, was witnessed by staff and members of the public. One worker at the Nikolus Tavern said of the first argument: “We recognised him as the footballer Andy Carroll immediately. He seemed very drunk and furious with his partner. He was using very bad words. It was improper behaviour. The woman looked very upset.”

The Sun reported that a source said: “After the restaurant episode, there was another incident at the hotel. This time, the footballer went to the police station. We know the woman stayed somewhere else that night.”

Meanwhile, a British holidaymaker who reportedly spotted the pair while out for a stroll accused Andy of being “very drunk” adding that he shouted at Lou: “I’m done with us!”

Anaïs Gallagher had a message for Ireland this morning amid her father Noel Gallagher’s latest concerts there. She paid tribute in a post on social media earlier, just hours before he took to the stage in the country as part of Oasis.

Noel, 58, and his brother Liam Gallagher, 52, are performing in Dublin tonight for the first of their two gigs at Croke Park Stadium in the city on the Oasis Live ’25 tour. The band will return to the venue for the second show tomorrow.

Anaïs, 28, who is the eldest of Noel’s three children, paid tribute to Ireland in a message shared on Instagram just hours before Oasis’ latest concert. She told her followers that she had arrived in the country amid the band’s tour. It comes after Paul Weller revealed the unusual reason he refuses to watch Oasis concerts.

Noel’s daughter Anaïs has been following Oasis on their much-awaited reunion tour since it launched last month. Following the opening night at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on July 4, she wrote in a post: “It’s good to be back.”

She’s since posted about having been at several other shows, including gigs in Manchester and London. Anaïs teased on Instagram recently that she had been to all of the band’s shows at Wembley Stadium so far.

In one of her posts about the five gigs at the venue, Anaïs wrote on August 3: “Wembley night 4. (can’t believe I’m even writing that btw? Night FOUR?!) WHAT. A. SHOW. Feeling so incredibly full love, pride & oh so many pints.”

She then revealed that she would be at the fifth show at Wembley Stadium, which was Oasis’s last at the venue until they returned for two more gigs there in September. She wrote: “See you again tonight, London. Let’s f***ing have it.

Anaïs has met some celebrities on the tour, including Chloe Kelly. The professional footballer, who plays for England, was among the high-profile concertgoers at Wembley one night. They even had a photo together with Noel backstage.

Katie Price slapped with new legal row as exes Kieran Hayler and Alex Reid team up

EXCLUSIVE: Former glamour model Katie Price has found herself at the centre of another legal row as her ex-husbands unite to block a new tell-all documentary from airing

Katie Price is at the centre of a new legal row with her ex-husbands over a planned tell-all documentary. The show, due to air next year, is set to spill the beans on her relationships, according to TV insiders.

Kieran Hayler, 38, and Alex Reid, 50, are consulting lawyers to try to block the film from featuring them. The pair are in contact via an intermediary as both are said to be aghast at the prospect of Katie talking.

A source said: “They feel like they have been backed into a corner and have no choice. They just want her to stop trashing them, and can’t believe she is being given a platform.” It comes after Katie was left unable to complete basic functions after latest facial surgeries.

Lawyers for Katie’s first husband, Peter Andre, were already on “red alert” even before news of the planned documentary surfaced last week.

It comes as Peter, 52, released a statement blasting his ex-wife’s “lies”. Asked about the show, an insider close to the Australian singer said: “His lawyers will be keeping a close eye on all things moving forward in terms of what Kate says or does.”

Article continues below

The three-part series is reportedly being made by Louis Theroux’s production company Mindhouse and put out by Sky. A strongly worded legal letter is being prepared on behalf of Kieran and Alex, urging the broadcaster to reconsider airing it.

A spokesman for Kieran said: “We are keeping all our options open. I can confirm Alex Reid is on the same page.” A TV insider claimed this week that the autobiographical show would “likely spill the beans on [Katie’s] many flings and love affairs” and would be the “most authentic version of her story”.

But a source close to Kieran said: “Enough is enough. They want to move on with their lives, and they can’t trust anything that comes out her mouth.”

Katie and Kieran were married from 2013 to 2021. They had two kids, Jett, now 12, and Bunny, 11. Former cage fighter Alex wed the ex-glamour model in Las Vegas in February 2010. They separated in January 2011.

Alex sued his ex for breach of confidence, misuse of private information and breach of contract after she disclosed to pals videos and photos of him performing a sex act.

High Court judge Mr Justice Warby branded Katie’s behaviour “persistent, flagrant, arrogant, high-handed and inexcusable”. She was told to pay £25,000 in damages and £150,000 in costs.

Reality TV star Alex said it had an impact on his career, adding: “She was saying the most disgusting things about me… It was affecting me working continually because people were laughing at me.”

Katie was married to Peter from 2005 to 2009, and they have Junior, 20, and Princess, 18. She has been in the spotlight recently around the launch of her eldest daughter’s ITV show, The Princess Diaries. Her claim last week that Princess lives with her seemed to enrage Peter.

Accusing his ex of repeated lies, he said: “Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until… adulthood. In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement.”

He also reminded fans of court cases in 2011 and 2015, saying they showed Katie had made false claims. Yesterday a source said: “Pete felt he had to do this for the sake of not only him, but his wife [Emily], Princess and Junior. He has received so many messages of support from people who are glad he has called such behaviour out.”

In response, mum-of-five Katie – who also has son Harvey, 23, with football coach Dwight Yorke – said: “I know I will always be seen as a sinner. That’s fair. I allowed myself to fall into a reliance on drugs and alcohol. At times I was not the mother I should have been while I struggled with mental illness.

“I have been at times a poor friend, an awful sibling, and an untrustworthy partner. I’ve self-medicated, been unfaithful, damaged myself and those that I love.”

Princess, meanwhile, says Katie and Peter’s feud does not trouble her, as she loves them both. When a fan asked if she was affected by her parents not getting on, she replied: “To be honest it doesn’t. At the end of the day, they broke up when I was two years old so I don’t even have any memory of them being together.”

She added: “I love my mum and dad and that’s all that matters.” Katie has claimed she was banned from Princess’s 18th birthday party filmed for her show and that her daughter’s management team thought she was trash.

A source said Katie was not banned but had missed the party due to being abroad. Sky did not respond to a request for comment.

Strictly winner Ore Oduba opens up on self-discovery after tragic death of sibling

Strictly Come Dancing 2016 winner Ore Oduba has opened up about the heartbreaking death of his sister, and his deeply painful loss changed his entire outlook on life

Sports broadcaster Ore Oduba has opened up about the heartbreaking death of his sibling, Lola, admitting that the loss of them changed his whole outlook on life. The BBC Sport host, who won Strictly Come Dancing in 2016 alongside Joanne Clifton, revealed how his family has had a “really difficult year”.

Speaking on John Reynolds’ Extraordinary Life Stories podcast, Ore, 39, spoke about his deeply personal and painful experience of losing his sister. He explained: “I wasn’t prepared to lose my sister. She’s been with me every day since.

“My sister’s non-binary, they told us in their goodbye letter. They’ve been with me every day since. What my sister did in choosing to find peace in death that they couldn’t find in life – that was strength, that was courage, and that was brave.

“And having gone through the last four or five years of their life and hearing about these troubles they were dealing with physically and emotionally. And actually, my sister did more living in the last five years of their life than in the previous 32 and still made a decision that they couldn’t carry on in this world.

“What they did for all of us in those last weeks, that’s given me the strength every day. And my responsibility now is to carry that legacy, because nothing is hard compared to what my sister went through.”

Ore’s sister, Lola, sadly died in April this year, a year after the presenter divorced from his wife of nine years, Portia Oduba. Ore said how his sister’s death gave him a completely new outlook on life, adding: “We don’t know when our last day is, and the truth is there isn’t time, there isn’t time. So I’m going to make the most of every single second I’ve got left.

“I can’t say enough, when you’ve been through something that puts life into perspective, your whole outlook changes. None of this stuff matters, John, none of it matters. But you can wrestle what is really important back before it’s too late.”

Ore showed his support on social media for Lola earlier this month, revealing his sibling identified as non-binary, using they/them pronouns, towards the end of their life. He began: “Lots of people have been asking about the rainbow in my bio… some will say I don’t need to explain myself (and they’d be right) however in this case I’m happy to share my why. It’s maybe not why you think.”

He continued: “I’ve mentioned before about the longer you can withstanding a storm the closer you are to your rainbow. I’m so glad to have grown monumentally through a truly difficult, stormy period in my life. the colours of my rainbow look very bright today.

“But in losing my sister in April the symbol of a rainbow has brought me closer to them in the times I’ve needed it desperately. My sister was very proudly black and very proudly queer.

“Definitely an ICON to me and so many of their friends and family. In the last year of their life they identified as non-binary. My pride for them knows no bounds.

“Despite doing a whole lot of living in their latter years, my sister spent much of their life in shame and humiliation of who they were. In so many ways, my sister’s death gave ME a gift of life.

“Having realised I’d lived the majority of my life for the attention of others, often suppressing my authentic self, my sister gave me the wake up call to live my life fully and express myself wholeheartedly. And that is what I plan to do. It’s certainly the version of me I want to mirror for my children.”

Ore then addressed his sexuality, writing: “So am I gay, as someone keenly asked me on insta yesterday. No, not in the traditional or sexual sense.

“But if ‘coming out’ is about shedding a former self to put forward the new, truest version of me, without the shame, the hiding, without the second-guessing whether any decision will make me happy rather than how others perceive me, how I cheerlead others with kindness and compassion, with occasionally quiet, or loud, flamboyance, depending on the mood, and a big dollop of camp then HALLELUJAH – count me in!”

Perrie Edwards struggled to leave the house over devastating health issue

Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards has spoken about her mental health in a new interview, including about agoraphobia, after having previously opened up about challenges in her life

Singer-songwriter Perrie Edwards has revealed the impact that a mental health condition had on her life last year. The Little Mix member has recalled in a new interview that she “could barely leave” her home towards the end of 2024.

Perrie, 32, who was name as an ambassador for the mental health charity Mind earlier this year, has been raising awareness around conditions like agoraphobia. The BRIT Award winner has also previously spoken about her experience with anxiety and panic attacks.

She’s now shared an update in an interview released this week. Perrie revealed that she has a tendency to “catastrophise” situation and struggled to leave the home she shares with her fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and their son last year.

Speaking to the Telegraph, Perrie said that she’s “in her element” on stage, describing herself as “empowered”. She added: “But as soon as I’m back home behind closed doors, that’s when the anxiety kicks in and I’m just me again.”

She told the outlet that she can’t help but “catastrophise” over “everyday things,” such as getting into her car and driving to London. She said: “At the end of last year my agoraphobia got so bad I could barely leave the house.”

Article continues below

Agoraphobia is “a fear of being in situations where escape might be difficult or where help wouldn’t be available if things go wrong,” according to the NHS. It further states that the condition can lead to symptoms of a panic attack, and the NHS adds that it can itself develop from panic disorder.

Perrie has previously shared that she has developed panic disorder. Speaking on Alison Hammond’s Big Weekend in an episode released in May, she said: “I’ve developed panic disorder, so it’s the fear of having a panic attack.”

She told Alison Hammond that she developed it after she started suffering from “severe” panic attacks a few years ago. She shared: “I then developed like a fear of having one again. So I was like, if I’m on my own and I have a panic attack, I might die, and nobody will be here to help.”

Alison Hammond, in a black top, cream waistcoat and matching trousers, stood beside Perrie Edwards, in a white top and black trousers, outside a house.
It comes after Perrie previously discussed her mental health with Alison Hammond on the BBC show Alison Hammond’s Big Weekend(Image: BBC Studios)

Providing an insight into the impact that has on her life, she went on to say: “So that’s why I’m never on my own.” Asked if she’s ever at home alone, she said: “No, never. Never! I’m always with somebody. Because I just … I don’t like the feeling of feeling like I’m gonna die.”

Perrie told Alison later in the episode that she had her first panic attack after having an over-the-counter caffeine shot during a trip to Las Vegas with her bandmates some years ago. Perrie said on the BBC show: “I honestly thought I was having a heart attack from whatever was in [it].”

She recalled “pacing” around her room at the time and having panic attacks before ending up in hospital. Perrie, who suggested that the experience had been a “trigger” and led to her anxiety going “through the roof,” added: “After that incident, I just kept having them like again and again.”

Perrie has since revealed that she’s sought support from therapists to help her deal with panic attacks. Speaking to Metro in an interview published in June, she shared that she’s “trying to be at peace” with her anxiety and its physical symptoms, instead of fearing potential panic attacks.

She told the outlet that she has “tried everything,” adding that she has tried “all different kinds” of therapy. Perrie said that, despite having previously been given strategies to use, “everything goes out the window” in the moment.

Perrie shared: “Last year, maybe in September, I started to take my therapist to work with me, which I know is a very privileged situation.” She said that they were able to coach her through any panic attack “there and then,” with her saying in the interview: “It’s the best thing I’ve ever done.”
