Fans break down in tears I’m A Celebrity’s Martin Kemp makes emotional admission

I’m a Celeb contestant Martin Kemp reduced fans to tears when he shared moving words and intimate footage of his family before he headed into the Australian jungle

Spandau Ballet bassist Martin Kemp is sure to miss his loved ones while he takes part in ITV ’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here. The musician and actor who played Steve Owen in EastEnders is clearly a committed family man.

Before he headed off to the Australian jungle the 64-year-old shared some vintage footage of his wife Shirlie and their two children with some heart wrenching words. The clip includes images and musings about life, death and all that’s in between. It features cute moments from when his kids were just babies and silver fox Martin had a head of brunette locks. His fans and even his daughter shared their feelings over the video, with some being reduced to tears.

Martin and Shirlie, who was a former backing singer for Wham! and one half of the pop duo Pepsi and Shirlie, have been married since 1998. They share grown up children, daughter Harley Moon, 36 and radio host and One Show presenter Roman Kemp, 32. The siblings recently made their debut on Celebrity Race Across the World and revealed that they rarely socialise together.

In August the eighties heartthrob took to Instagram to share an advert he stars in for Samsung to celebrate the launch of the new Galaxy Z Fold7. In it Martin is seen walking into a dark, empty cinema room as the words ‘Life unfolds fast’ appear. Old home video footage shows a shirtless and raven-haired Martin crouching down while watering the garden with his two young toddlers in the sunshine

His emotional voice over sees him wistfully talking about life with all its ups and downs. “Often the firsts feel like fireworks, lopsided footsteps on carpets, lemons that threaten to turn your face inside out,” he says as a baby is seen grimacing while sucking on the tart fruit.

He continues to talk about growing up as a child and its important milestones, reminiscing: “Or your shoes are too shiny and your mum, she’s crying more than you. You fall off a bike, you fall off again and again and again, until eventually, you fly. Which is to say flying is just part of learning to ride.”

The dialogue continues to discuss growing into adulthood, first kisses and meeting partners. “There are immeasurable days and immeasurable laughter and hugs, hugs that lift you clean off the floor,” he smiles. “You get down on one knee, in a restaurant or a field or a car park and the yes becomes an ‘I do’. With your something borrowed and your something blue and on the dance floor you hope that the music plays forever.”

At this point Martin and Shirlie are seen holding onto each other and dancing joyfully together. There is also footage of the pop stars singing a duet in the car. Later comes a clip of Shirlie curled up on the sofa holding baby Roman while Martin kisses his head and a chuckling Harley looks on.

As a wrinkled hand is stroked, the topic of death is touched upon as Martin, who along with Shirlie was great friends with the late George Micheal, laments: “There are always too many goodbyes and often too soon. We place flowers that we never wanted to buy and lay them where love and memory meet.”

He signs off with a heartfelt message about making the most of our time: “All of this is to say life unfolds fast. It’s all we can do to capture as much of it as we can. Hold onto the fireworks, the unmissable moments, the ones that remind us what it is to be alive.”

The ad went down a storm with the campmate’s fans who shared their adoration for it. “Made me cry… Well done,” one posted. Another commented: “I loved this video and cried when I saw the old videos of Shirlie and you who built a family, and it wasn’t just for that reason.. your words were beautiful and amazing.” Others agreed it was “beautiful” while Harley Moon even took to her dad’s Insta to share her thoughts on it. ““Love this,” she wrote alongside two heart emojis.

Netflix viewers say ‘one of the best movies ever’ has just been added to the platform

No Country for Old Men, the Coen Brothers’ Academy Award-winning adaptation of Cormac McCarthy’s novel, is attracting fresh acclaim for its stark depiction of brutality, ethics, and chaos

A modern Western thriller universally hailed as a cinematic tour de force has landed on Netflix – and viewers are still praising it as one of the finest films ever made.

No Country for Old Men, the Coen Brothers’ Oscar-winning take on Cormac McCarthy’s novel, continues to earn fresh praise for its unflinching portrayal of violence, morality, and fate in a world spiralling into chaos.

The 2007 masterpiece marked a career-defining moment in the Coens’ illustrious directing career.

Josh Brolin stars as Llewelyn Moss, a welder and Vietnam veteran who discovers the bloody remains of a failed drugs deal in the remote Texas desert and makes off with a suitcase containing $2million (£1.5million).

This fateful choice sets off a deadly chain of events, as Moss becomes the target of Anton Chigurh, a mysterious, soft-spoken killer brought to chilling life by Javier Bardem, reports the Express.

Bardem’s performance earned instant critical acclaim – landing him the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.

Rotten Tomatoes audiences remain mesmerised: “Guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat not only because of the directors and their quirky but very welcomed artistic decisions… but also because it includes one of the greatest performances of this century to date: Javier Bardem as the ruthless and nightmare-inducing hitman Anton Chigurh.”

The character, recognisable by his distinctive bowl haircut, blank stare, and terrifying coin-flipping moments, has become one of contemporary cinema’s most unforgettable and chilling villains.

While much of the story focuses on the deadly cat-and-mouse game between Moss and Chigurh, the film’s emotional core rests with Tommy Lee Jones as Sheriff Ed Tom Bell – a weary officer struggling with the escalating mindless violence consuming his community.

Jones, Bardem and Brolin each embody different elements of the movie’s key themes: justice, chaos, and survival.

Critics have continuously praised the film’s structure, atmosphere, and technical excellence. “The Coen Brothers really got this one right,” one reviewer noted.

The film’s final 20 minutes have sparked some of the most heated debates in cinema history, with its bold and understated finale challenging the norms of action-film endings.

“The perfect film. Every scene. Every line of dialogue. And the ending. Yes… I said it… the ending. All perfect,” one Rotten Tomatoes critic gushed.

No Country for Old Men swept the board at the 2008 Oscars, bagging Best Picture, Best Director (a joint win for Joel and Ethan Coen), Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Supporting Actor. It also received nods for Best Actor (Tommy Lee Jones), Best Cinematography (Roger Deakins), and Best Film Editing.

‘Spellbinding performances’ in ‘gripping’ war film now streaming on Netflix

A gripping war epic — starring Chris Pine and Florence Pugh — charts an important era in Great Britain’s history and the film is now available to stream on Netflix UK

Fans of historical dramas and period films are in for a treat as an excellent choice is now available on the Netflix UK catalogue.

The film, starring Chris Pine in the lead role alongside Florence Pugh, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Tony Curran, Callan Mulvey, Billy Howle, Sam Spruell, James Cosmo and Stephen Dillane, depicts significant events from the Scottish Wars of Independence in 1304-07.

Outlaw King, a stirring 2018 historical drama, was co-written, produced, and directed by David Mackenzie. The official summary of the film states: “After being crowned King of Scotland, legendary warrior Robert the Bruce is forced into exile by the English and leads a band of outlaws to help him reclaim the throne.”

It’s a true David vs. Goliath tale of how the 14th century Scottish ‘Outlaw King’ Robert the Bruce used cunning and bravery to defeat the much larger and better equipped occupying English army, reports the Express.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Pine discussed mastering the Scottish accent for the film. The actor admitted: “It was difficult to get an accent to be organic that is so foreign from my own. There were particular sounds that I stumbled on, but also just getting the musicality of the language down.”

“I didn’t want it to be a movie about an accent; I didn’t want people to not believe I was Scottish, but I also couldn’t draw too much attention to it and away from the story.”

Boasting a 69 per cent audience approval rating on review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes, Outlaw King garnered largely favourable reviews, with one enthusiast declaring: “Great movie all around, deserves way more love than it has received. This one will age well, fantastic period piece with stunning cinematography, solid acting/cast, and realistic fight scenes.”

Another viewer praised the production and penned: “Noticed that not only were the cast amazing but the extras in the battle scenes were unbelievable, probably the best extras I’ve seen in any movie.”

Meanwhile one audience review stated: “I quite enjoyed this historical tale. It has a quick pace, simple dialogue, brutal violence and charming characters. Quite simply a fun film to watch.”

A professional critique of the picture reads: “The film lifts itself and has great technical and production design, great lead performances, and a story that while familiar, is a much better representation of the same story we have gotten before.”

Whilst another reviewer heaped acclaim on Chris Pine for his depiction of the Scottish monarch: “Chris Pine gives a strong performance in this well-constructed tale of Robert the Bruce’s fight for Scotland’s freedom.”

A third critic commented on the film: “Outlaw King is a gripping, moving and grand film full of spellbinding performances. Pine effortlessly embodies Bruce’s conviction, bravery, and compassion.”

Adam Peaty’s brother James arrested after stag do ‘threats’ as dad breaks silence

Adam Peaty’s older brother James has been arrested after allegedly sending threats to the Olympian amid their ongoing family feud ahead of his upcoming wedding to Holly Ramsay

Adam Peaty’s brother James has been arrested over allegations he sent threats to the sportsman during his stag weekend.

Earlier this week, Adam, 30, was met by police as he arrived at Manchester Airport following his stag do in Budapest. The Olympian is set to tie the knot with Gordon Ramsay’s daughter, Holly, in just a matter of weeks and has been embroiled in a heated family feud. Adam has faced claims that he has ditched his working-class family in favour of his famous in-laws, as his own family does not fit the celebrity image.

But while in Budapest, with his future father-in-law, Adam was said to have become alarmed after receiving text messages, with Holly alerting the police. His older brother, James, 34, was arrested at his home in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, on Monday and has since been bailed.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: “We arrested a 34-year-old man, from the Uttoxeter area, on November 11, 2025, on suspicion of harassment. The man was released on conditional bail while our enquiries continue.”

Meanwhile, Adam’s dad has now spoken out for the first time, saying things have gotten out of hand between the family. Mark told The Sun: “They’re brothers, they’ve always been close, but like any normal family, brothers fight, argue, fall out, make up and start all over again.

“But it’s got out of hand, there’s been very little empathy towards Jamie’s genuine mental health difficulties.” A source told the same newspaper that Adam believes his mother, Caroline, has been enabling Jamie’s alleged behaviour. They went on to state it was “ridiculous” that Adam was greeted by police, as Jamie had no intentions of harming his brother.

Both Adam and Jamie fell out in 2021 following the release of the former Strictly Come Dancing star’s autobiography, in which he addressed his siblings’ “demons”, including previous drug usage. However, they soon moved past this, and Jamie was said to have been asked to be a groomsman at the upcoming wedding.

Sadly, their bond broke down again in June this year, when James was working on a building project for Adam. The source claims that since Adam’s engagement, their relationship had hit an all-time low.

James was said to have been “upset” about the comments Adam made in his autobiography, which saw him portrayed as a “bum”. Meanwhile, Adam’s own family have been uninvited from his upcoming wedding, with his sister reportedly being the only relative to be attending.

While Adam’s mother, who dedicated her life to ferrying him around to swimming competitions, has remained silent, her sister, Louise, has vocally hit out at her nephew and Holly. She said: “Yes. Adam is a born-again Christian. He’s not living by the tenets of Christianity is he? Where is ‘honour thy mother and thy father’ where is the forgiveness?”

She has also claimed that Holly and Adam had bodyshamed Caroline after she was asked to wear a different dress for the wedding, before she was uninvited. Louise fumed: “How can Adam and Holly ‘source’ sit there and say Caroline wasn’t invited because of the way my sister looks?

“She doesn’t suit the look Holly is looking for?! WTF body shaming a 60-year-old woman! Jesus Christ on a cracker!” Caroline was also noticeably absent from Holly’s hen-do, which included the likes of her mother, Tana and Victoria Ramsay. A source told Daily Mail: “You only have to look at the picture to see that there is a certain ‘type’.”

The added: “They all look the same, and you wonder if Caroline might have stuck out a bit. She’s a normal woman, not a celebrity. You look at Holly’s Instagram and it’s all so planned, so super-glam and very, very showy. That’s not Caroline.”

Holly and Adam are yet to comment on the family feud, despite attempts from the Mirror.

Katie Price takes fresh swipe at teen daughter Princess Andre

Katie Price has reignited her feud with daughter Princess Andre by taking a fresh swipe at the 18-year-old amid ongoing drama with Princess’ father Peter Andre

Katie Price took a fresh swipe at her teenage daughter Princess Andre in the latest episode of her podcast. Speaking about Kerry Katona’s daughter, she said: “”Why is Princess hanging around with Heidi and doing stuff, but I’m not allowed to with Princess. It’s just b*******.”

The former glamour model has appeared to have a tense relationship with her daughter for months now, with Katie was not a part of any of the promotional events for Princess’ new reality TV series, The Princess Diaries. Meanwhile, Katie’s ex and Princess’ father, Peter Andre, was heavily involved.

The feud seemed to intensify after the National Television Awards, where Princess and her brother Junior appeared on the red carpet without either of their parents. Katie took to her podcast to tell Princess she should “sack the stylist”.

Katie has spoken on her podcast to share her feelings about Princess again. This time, she revealed that she will be spending more time with close pal Kerry Katona’s daughter Heidi, and taking her to events.

“She’s staying with me for a month, she’s going to come to events with me,” Katie explained. “So when I’m pictured with Heidi at events, it isn’t weird. Because Kerry loves me, and Heidi loves me. Heidi will be at events with me but not Princess.”

Katie then dived into her frustration with Princess, particularly surrounding times when Princess would hang out with Heidi but not her. She asked: “Why is Princess hanging around with Heidi and doing stuff, but I’m not allowed to with Princess. It’s just b*******.”

She added that she didn’t “agree” with Princess’ continued silence on the drama unfolding between her parents. Trouble brewed between the pair earlier this year, as Katie claimed Peter blocked her from appearing on Princess’ show.

In her most recent podcast episode, she shared that she was angered that Princess hadn’t spoken about the situation on her social media platforms.

“She says she won’t put anything up about me or her dad,” Katie said. “That’s it. I don’t agree, but I’m not going to argue with Princess about it. She only has to say a few things. The truth.”

Her sister, Sophie, then brought up the fact that Peter and his wife Emily have pulled out of filming the second series of The Princess Diaries. “Do you think, rather than them dropping out, it might have just been better if they had included you?” Sophie asked. “Because we did get approached for them to include you in old YouTube footage, which was a but insulting, let’s be fair.”

Katie responded: “Yeah, you offered them “why don’t you just film Kate fresh, doing stuff her and Princess like doing”, and they said no, and I said I’d do it for nothing.”
