Axed Loose Women star makes final appearance as they mark ‘bittersweet end of an era’

Prior to significant shake-ups at the channel in January, an axed Loose Women actress and actress made their emotional final appearance on the ITV chatshow.

It was revealed earlier this year that Lee Peart – Loose Women’s long-standing warm-up act, would be saying goodbye to the show from the New Year, after show bosses decided to axe the live audience.

And on Monday’s This Morning, funnyman Lee – who has been making audiences chuckle before Loose Women since 2017 – kicked off his final week on the morning chatshow, hosting the competition live on-air before his sad departure.

A job normally given to usual hosts Jeff Brazier or Kate Lawler, Lee – who was seen reporting live from Warwick castle, as he gave out details while skating round an ice rink, was given the gig to mark his imminent departure from the show for good.

Lee had been sharing heartfelt condolences with a number of panelists on social media over the past few weeks, some of whom he has known since he first started working with.

Earlier this month, he revealed on Facebook that it would be a “bittersweet end of an era”.

He added, “Two weeks today will be my final Loose Women! A bittersweet end of an era… the goodbyes are starting as it’s the last time I’ll work with Ruth, Gloria and Kellie in this capacity!”

He then posed for a happy selfie with panelist Denise Welch, who had earlier admitted to feeling “so sad” that the comedian would no longer be on the program.

Lee’s sad news first came to light back in July, when panellist Nadia Sawahla said in a YouTube video: “From next year there will be no Loose Women audience. I am totally devastated by this fact, I can’t get over it at all.

“Not just because the audience is so important to the show, but also my dear friend Lee, with whom I collaborate every day. “

Fans will be able to tune into an exciting new project from Lee come 2026, however – a brand-new wine podcast with his pal, Celebrity Traitors winner Alan Carr – and no doubt, a whole lot of laughs, too.

Bottoms Up! has a unique episode. delves into questions about how to drink rosé or how to handle a disappointing bottle at the table while bringing up wine-related fun chat, gossip, and chaos.

When Lee and Lee discussed their new venture together recently on Lorraine, she said, “If you go to a fancy restaurant, you have no excuses when you say to the waiter, “Oh, what’s this dish? ” However, you start to feel a little intimidated by the wines. We’re attempting to explain it to the public.

“We have experts coming on, just giving you advice and stuff,” Alan said, “because sometimes it’s overwhelming when you’re buying wine and everything else.” Additionally, there aren’t many deals there.

Come January, amid cuts at ITV daytime, both Loose Women and Lorraine will be airing for just 30 weeks of the year, rather than the usual year-long broadcast – as well as being reduced to 30 minutes per episode.

Given that there won’t be as many episodes of each year, on-air stars won’t appear as frequently as they once did with the big changes.

Married At First Sight UK star’s lung collapses after being mugged on holiday

Daniel McKee was brutally attacked while traveling, but the thieves left empty-handed after falling in love with Matt Jameson on Married At First Sight UK four years ago.

One of Married At First Sight UK’s first gay stars has revealed his injuries from a mugged trip to Mexico.

Daniel McKee, who was partnered with Matt Jameson on the hit E4 show in 2021, was brutally attacked, leaving him with a collapsed lung. He forced to fly home to Northern Ireland for Christmas following the harrowing incident.

The 30-year-old took to social media to share images of the impact of the robbery attempt. He explained what transpired during his travels in south America along with a photo of himself holding a cup of tea while shirt-free.

“I got mugged in Mexico,” he said on Instagram. “They didn’t manage to take anything because I fought back… which in hindsight you should NEVER EVER do as I got hurt… they did however redirect my winter travels for a few weeks which I’m not mad about.

She addressed the thug’s effects in more detail in the following upload. He continued, “I have a wee tear in my lung, a small pneumothorax (collapsed lung), and some very sore ribs. Daniel continued to go on to explain how it hurts “so bad” when he laughed before saying, “But I am grand. Merry Christmas

Dan and Matt split after a two years together in December 2022 after becoming the show’s first-ever gay. Speaking to The Mirror, Matt revealed he and Dan have been unable to savage a friendship from their relationship.

We wanted to be friends, they said. However, he continued, “You must have that separation with any relationship, and especially for me to move forward.

We haven’t spoken in a while, so it’s been very difficult because I was heartbroken after the breakup, because I loved him and wanted him to be my forever, but he wasn’t, so I needed that break, and because we haven’t spoken in a while. We could talk and maybe form a friendship in the future, but it hasn’t been something I’ve been able to do.

He said, “Our relationship was so strong; we met at the altar, we spent eight to twelve weeks filming together, and then we spent time in Leeds and Northern Ireland.

“During those two years, there were a few days or weeks when we weren’t together.” It was a fast-track relationship because it was so intense.

We were together for two years, but it probably would have spanned four or five years if it had been a regular relationship. It’s a real adjustment because that intensity and then the stop before you decide to leave are real.

He continued, “I moved to Northern Ireland, we were living together there, and then I had to make that enormous adjustment again and move back to Leeds, which was really difficult,” he said, speaking in 2023.

After the influencer praised how much these £24 viral K-Beauty pore pads have “changed her skin,” Molly-Mae received the seal of approval for them.

Another beauty product that Molly-Mae had credited with “changing the clarity” of her skin has been shared by fans.

In a recent YouTube vlog, Molly let fans in on her current nighttime routine and praised a viral K-Beauty buy.

The Medicube Zero Pore Pad Mild, which retails for £24 for 70 pads, is the product Molly claims has seen a measurable improvement in her skin after using them for the past two weeks.

They are ideal for everyday use because they are dual-sided toner pads that gently exfoliate while maintaining skin hydration and calm.

The pads are infused with madecassoside, a mild exfoliating acid that helps remove dead skin cells without irritating the skin, and panthenol to hydrate and strengthen the skin barrier, and PHA, a mild exfoliating acid that helps remove dead skin cells without irritating the skin.
