Blake Lively made a triumphant return to the spotlight last night just hours after scoring a huge victory against Justin Baldoni in court.

The 37-year-old actress beamed as she graced the Chanel Tribeca Festival Artists Dinner red carpet wearing a cream crocheted Chanel dress. Earlier that day, Baldoni’s huge $400million countersuit against Lively had been dismissed by a judge.

Baldoni had launched the countersuit after she claimed that he had engaged in a smear campaign against her after filming wrapped and that he had harrassed her on set. He went on to sue Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds and her publicist Leslie Sloane for defamation.

However, Judge Lewis J Liman dismissed the lawsuit due to Lively’s allegations being made within privileged court papers, so were subsequently not defamatory.

Yet while Lively’s poses on the red carpet hint at her “smug victory”, she also lets slip her hidden anxiety, body language expert Judi James tells the Mirror.

“Blake’s professional red-carpet smiles have been pretty gale-proof during her ongoing legal battles but with Baldoni’s lawsuit apparently dismissed there’s several new body language features during these new poses that hint at a look of smug victory,” Judi explains..

“In the first pose Blake holds her right hand in the ‘broken wing’ pose with the wrist dropped in what is often a trait loved by celebrities who want to appear special and rather precious. Her left hand is raised in a wave but it is held low, with the fingers splayed, to suggest a ‘hail’ to her fans in an ‘I’m ok’ message.

“Her head is tilted in a gesture that signals a desire to be liked and her usual Duchenne smile shows a suggestion of pleasure and even smugness with the way the tip of her tongue is placed between her front teeth.

“Her second pose here is more emphatically confident and even victorious looking. Her torso and arm pose is symmetric as she faces the cameras front-on to suggest she’s nothing to hide.

“Her hands are on her hips with the elbows out in a partial pit-bare and splay that suggests feelings of power and strength. There is one small clue that hints of some feelings of inner anxiety or vulnerability though.

“Despite the power-splay her legs are crossed at the ankle which is a gesture that usually means some desire to self-protect or self-diminish. The contrast between the legs and the upper torso suggests contrasting emotions between confidence and vulnerability.”

Following the dismissal of Baldoni’s countersuit on Monday, a spokesperson for Blake told the Daily Mail: “Today’s opinion is a total victory and a complete vindication for Blake Lively, along with those that Justin Baldoni and the Wayfarer Parties dragged into their retaliatory lawsuit, including Ryan Reynolds, Leslie Sloane and The New York Times.

“As we have said from day one, this ‘$400 million’ lawsuit was a sham, and the Court saw right through it. We look forward to the next round, which is seeking attorneys’ fees, treble damages and punitive damages against Baldoni, Sarowitz, Nathan, and the other Wayfarer Parties who perpetrated this abusive litigation.”

Interior designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen has signed over his Cotswolds estate to his two sons-in-law after suffering a terrifying near-death experience during the production of a popular Netflix series.

The 60-year-old, who is famed for appearing on BBC’s Changing Rooms, revealed earlier this year that he was struggling with an “end of life crisis” after he was involved in a horror incident while filming Celebrity Bear Hunt. During a water stunt, Laurence lost consciousness after being dragged under a boat, leaving him shaken.

Speaking of the scary ordeal earlier this year, Laurence revealed: “In my head, I was some kind of Marvel superhero. Actually, by the time I got to the raft that I was supposed to swim to, it dawned on me quite quickly, I’m actually Granddaddy Pig and getting onto the raft was never going to happen. I got stuck under the raft. I got tangled up in some equipment and stuff and that’s when the drowning thing kind of happened.

“But I managed to free myself. I should have stopped at that point and just sort of gathered myself but actually, no, I was then throwing myself into the challenge and then I started blacking out and suddenly, I’ve got Bear on top of me.”

Laurence thought he was suffering a heart attack as he shared: “It wasn’t a pleasant experience at all. I mean, it really, really wasn’t. I was blacking out. I thought I was having a heart attack.

“And having then been pumped full of, I think it’s about three canisters of oxygen, which is wonderful stuff by the way…but it was a very solitary thing. I always felt that I was quite physically resilient. I have regular medicals. I’m perceived as being reasonably fit for what I am but it did feel slightly like a moment of failure.”

Speaking about taking part in Netflix’s Celebrity Bear Hunt, Laurence joked that his wife said he was having a “mid-life crisis”. He confessed: “She feels it’s got midlife crisis written all over it, although, as I keep telling her, I’m too old to have a midlife crisis, this is more like an end of life crisis.

“She’s actually, frankly, incredibly jealous. She would love to do it and has always been mildly irritated that no one’s ever asked her to do something like this.”

Just months after his incident on the show, Laurence, who has an estimated net worth of £8 million, confirmed that he no longer owns his sprawling Cotswold abode where he resides with his family. He told The Sunday Times, “I’m no longer lord of the manor.”

Sharing the reason behind signing over two-thirds of the Cotswold abode, Laurence added: “We’re not going to be those old people sitting on a great big pile of cash. Terribly unhappy, terribly lonely.

“Owning a lot of stuff but not actually having the benefit of it. We are very, very privileged, but we have made this decision. We have manifested this life.”

The TV star and design guru lives in the main house with his wife Jackie, 60, along with their youngest daughter Hermione, 27, her husband, Drew, 28, and their children Romilly, two, and Eleanora, 18 months. Their eldest daughter, Cecile, 30, resides in the converted garage on the same grounds with her husband, Dan, 30, and their children Albion, eight, and Demelza, three.

“Hilariously, Cecile and I aren’t on the deeds, because we inherit it anyway – it’s actually the husbands,” Hermione revealed.

YouTuber Finny Da Legend has died after being shot near an iconic hotel in Las Vegas. The YouTube star was killed alongside another person, believed to be Finny’s partner, near the Bellagio hotel and casino on the Las Vegas strip on Sunday night.

Finny had more than 3000 subscribers on YouTube and was actually streaming live when it happened. A man, another content creator, came up to him. Footage shared online showed that at least seven shots were fired.

It is believed that alongside Finny, his partner was killed too, as reported by KVVU-TV. In the harrowing footage, Finny’s partner could be heard screaming. They said: “Are you f**king kidding me?” and the camera was then thrown to the ground.

Police had said that the shooter and one of the victims had argued on social media. Manuel Ruiz, 41, turned himself into police hours later, with the cops issuing a statement: “At this point, we believe we have the suspect identified and that this is an isolated incident, knowing that the suspect and the victim had previously engaged in some type of conflict using a variety of social media platforms.”

Praising his friend, Derek Ware spoke of Finny’s life away from social media, as a son, a father and a grandfather. He said: “He’s a good father. He takes care of his kids. If something was wrong, he would just always check up on me. He’s donated to people that needed help online.” Of Finny’s wife, he added: “She would have fun everywhere she went. People wanted to be around her.”

Derek claimed that a feud between Finny and Manuel had been going on since 2023 and he claimed it started when Ruiz pepper sprayed Finny’s wife Bubbly. He said: “I was saying, ‘I’m just glad it was pepper spray, it wasn’t bullets.’

“I said, ‘I don’t want to. I don’t want to see you here in pain with bullets in you, so let’s figure this out.’ His wife said she was OK, so he was just like, ‘OK, let’s handle this another way.’ He controls his emotions very well. That’s what I liked about him the most.”

Ware then said that Ruiz lost followers and Finny’s online popularity just grew. He never thought it would come to violence. He said: “That’s just, that’s just sickening. That’s just sick. What do you get out of that? I don’t get that. You just ruined two families.”

Countryfile presenter and farmer Adam Henson has opened up on what the future holds for his family as he prepares to leave his farm in the Cotswolds when the tenancy runs out

Countryfile’s Adam Henson has shared a poignant moment, declaring “it’s the end of an era” as he contemplates leaving his beloved farm in the Cotswolds once the tenancy expires.

The well-known TV presenter and farmer resides on the expansive 650-hectare Cotswolds Farm Park estate with his wife Charlie. He revealed their plans to relocate to a nearby bungalow, acknowledging that their children have chosen different paths and won’t be taking over the agricultural reins.

Off-camera, Adam dedicates himself to running the family farm, continuing the vision his father Joe initiated in 1971.

Speaking to the Daily Express, he reminisced: “My dad was ahead of his time by opening a farm for people to come and visit, bottle-feed a lamb or hold a chick.”

Adam recalled his own childhood enthusiasm for farming, contrasting it with his children’s career choices: “While I was pulling on my wellies and chasing my dad out of the door to join him on the farm, my own children aren’t interested in a career in farming.”

He acknowledged his children’s capabilities but noted their different professional directions: “Sure, they can lamb a sheep and drive a tractor, but my daughter lives in Perth as an events organiser and my son is a financial advisor in Leeds.”

Looking ahead, he shared their future plans: “So when the tenancy runs out in 12 years’ time, Charlie and I are moving to a bungalow close by in Winchcombe, where we have a few acres and will keep a few sheep and the dogs.”

Despite the change, Adam expressed his enduring affection for the rural landscape: “It will be the end of an era, but I will still be able to enjoy the lovely countryside.”

In a heartfelt conversation with Reach PLC, Adam revealed the tough challenges he’s faced in his life, opening up about his wife’s battle with cancer, the heartbreaking loss of his parents, and his nephew.

Adam expressed, “My characteristics are that I am an upbeat person, and I have got an incredibly supportive family, wife, and children, and people around me.

“And within the business, I have got a business partner who I was at Agricultural College with and he is one of my closest friends and what we do is surround ourselves with people that are excellent within their own role in the business. Whether that is a manager or a farm manager, and we work really closely with the team and we are all very honest and open with one another.”

He went on to share, “I have had some very difficult times in my life, both in business and personally. My wife was very ill a few years ago, my parents dying, and I lost a nephew.”

Despite numerous hurdles such as foot and mouth disease, the Covid pandemic, and other personal tribulations, Adam credits his mental resilience to the robust support system he has built, “We have gone through foot and mouth challenges, Covid, and we have had some tough times, but I’ve never had poor mental health because I’ve had that fantastic support system around me.”

Zoe admitted in Molly-Mae’s most recent documentary that she was worried about her sister. She said: “I do worry for her and my relationship with her if they did get back together. I think she potentially needs to look into the future and think about what’s best for her and Bambi. She’s got a long, rocky road ahead, unfortunately.”

Later, Zoe admitted she was just worried for her sister more than anything. She said: “I’ve literally been there, through everything. Through the upset calls in the middle of the night because he’s out and you don’t hear from him.

Now it has been claimed that the Furys aren’t “impressed” with Zoe’s “outspoken” comments about Tommy.

A source told The Sun: “The Fury family aren’t impressed that Zoe has been so outspoken about Tommy. They’re a fiercely loyal bunch and seeing Zoe’s comments broadcast to millions of people via Amazon absolutely got their hackles up.

“To them Tommy is a stand up guy, a good, hard working father. His drinking issues shouldn’t be used as a stick to beat him.” The Mirror has contacted Molly-Mae’s representatives and Paris and Tyson Fury’s representatives for comment.

Tommy admitted previously that drinking had become a vice of sorts for him. He said: “The reason why me and Molly broke up was because I got addicted to alcohol and I couldn’t be the partner that I wanted to be anymore.

“It kills me to say it, [but] it’s true, I couldn’t. I loved a pint of beer, loved to drink, and it is what it is. People go through different things in life and we all have our crosses to bear. I’ve got mine to bear.”

When they split, there had been rumours he had cheated, something he denied. He also said: “Cheating was never a thing. You can ask Molly this yourself. It was the drink, and the drink is not a good thing. You need to get a grip of it.

“If you’re in the same spot as me, where you just think that it’s going to cure all your problems, it doesn’t. You wake up even worse and you want to drink more to try and feel happy again. That’s the cycle of it.”

A beloved nan who amassed millions of fans through her adorable TikToks with her granddaughter has died aged 91.

Norma, who appeared in hundreds videos over the last four years with her granddaughter Jess, fell asleep peacefully surrounded by family died on Thursday June 5.

Alongside a photo of Norma wearing a glittery crown, a statement from the family said that they were “truly devastated” and that their “lives will never be the same again.

It read: “05/06/2025 the day our family lost our rock, our everything, our beautiful, precious, perfect lady. We are all truly devastated and our lives will never be the same.

“We want you all to know that Nan fell to sleep peacefully, surrounded by all her family, she was full of love and had the most beautiful care. If anyone deserves a place in heaven, it’s you Nanny Norma.

“Social media and our community online made Nan’s last years so incredibly special, her cup was full and in her own words she “lived such a wonderful life”. 91 years was never going to be enough and she has left the biggest hole in all of our hearts. Reunited with her husband and family, until we meet again, our queen.”

Heartbroken fans flocked to comment, with one writing: “Oh, Nan. I loved you like you were my own Nan. Sleep peacefully Queen. Jess I’m so sorry for you huge loss. Can we as your community do something to make Nans send off to Heaven extra special?”

While another commented: “I so deeply believe in intragenerational relationships. Thank you for showing those who didn’t grow up with this how much beauty there is in this. You have made the world more beautiful, one Nan at a time. What an incredible legacy you have given her Jess. Much love and peace to you.”

A third wrote: “Thank you, Jess from the bottom of my heart for sharing Norma with us. She was and still is a sparkling bright light in my life. I either started or ended my day by checking in with you and Norma.

“I felt as if your Nan was all of ours. The incredible book that the two of you collaborated on will be one of my greatest treasures. I know this sounds cliché, but Heaven has certainly gained a Beautiful angel. We all loved your ‘Nan’.”

Jess first began posting videos with her nan in August 2021, with their first video together showing Norma given Queen Elizabeth II as a lookalike. The videos moved onto Norma reacting to various things, with the first being a heartwarming moment showing Jess gift her with her graduation photo.

“Oh Jess, that is lovely. I’m so proud of you,” she told Jess. “It’s delightful. You are a very very pretty lady.”

Their last video together showed Norma speaking of “how gorgeous” the flower arrangement was that she had received from Jess’ mum. “When I come downstairs, I see that waiting for me,” she said. “It’s very beautiful.”
