Strictly Come Dancing’s Amber Davies says ‘of course I worry’ over cruel trolling

Amber Davies, a member of the hit dance competition Strictly Come Dancing, has admitted to having been trolled over her dancing skills as a result of her participation in the popular dance competition.

Strictly Come Dancing star Amber Davies has opened up about how she is avoiding the backlash she has faced over her experience as a dancer. The former Love Island winner usually works as a performer in London’s West End theatre district.

Amber, 29, became a last-minute replacement for fellow former Love Islander Dani Dyer when she sustained a significant injury just days before live shows were due to begin. Now Amber has vowed not to pay attention to the negativity that has been directed at her, saying it will only “make me feel c—.”

Amber – who is performing an Argentine Tango on tonight’s show – admitted, “I am doing everything I possibly can to avoid reading anything negative on social media. A lot of people have asked me how I am dealing with the backlash, but, honestly, I refuse to read any comments online. I am not going there.”

She continued to The Sun: “In the past I have gone looking for it and it just makes me feel like crap, so this time around I have to be really mentally strong, but I am putting myself in the Strictly bubble. I do my rehearsals and go home; I don’t read or check anything.

Because it will only undermine my confidence, it will do it. I told myself, “I have to block it out, I really do,” because I didn’t want this to be a bad experience. Amber also admitted, “It would be too much going on in my head if I worried about the backlash. “

She has acknowledged that learning ballroom routines is challenging despite her background as a dancer and her early involvement in musical theater. She described how the two are “worlds apart.” I studied acting and singing.

“It’s like being a pop singer and being made to sing opera.” She has also stressed that her boyfriend, theatre actor Ben Joyce, has no worries about her performing passionate routines with her Strictly professional dance partner Nikita Kuzmin, 27.

She continued, “I’ve seen him kiss someone else on stage, he has watched me fall in love with someone on stage, and it’s normal in our industry.” My boyfriend is obsessed with this dance because he believes it to be my best dance.

Dani, 29, has stepped in for her after she broke her ankle, and Amber described the experience as “bittersweet for me.” She will be sorely missed on this program, I want to let her know.

Amber continued, “I will 100% vote for her win when she returns next year because she could never replace her in a million years.” Amber and Kem Cetinay, who were her then-partner, won Love Island in 2017.

Five months after receiving the £50, 000 Love Island prize money, the pair split in December 2017. Amber had previously vowed to stop discussing her former partner with her supporters in 2018.

She remarked, “Guys, this is just getting so boring and grating right now.” She continued, “You GUYS should be over the relationship if Kem and I are over it.” I am generally allowed to be openly happy and can move on.

Strictly Come Dancing’s Amber Davies furiously responds to dancing experience backlash

Despite having dance experience, Amber Davies faced criticism after appearing on Strictly Come Dancing, but the West End actress has since addressed her critics.

Amber Davies has hit out at people who have criticised her. The Strictly Come Dancing star has been slammed in the past due to her previous dance experience.

The star who found fame on Love Island has since gone on to make a name for herself on the West End, having appeared in Legally Blonde and 9 to 5. And with this has come social media trolling, with many claiming she had an unfair advantage over her Strictly co-stars.

Reality TV star and actress Amber joined Strictly late after Dani Dyer had to pull out due to an injury. Some fans were enraged by this, as Amber has dance experience, having done it professionally as part of her musical theatre career.

Amber has responded to Amber’s response, revealing that she has worked tirelessly for her success and will continue to do so on Strictly. People will naturally have things to say if I’m struggling because I perform musical theatre, she said, “We see the same thing over and over again and I feel like it doesn’t matter what I say or how I feel.”

Amber went on to say: “I have worked my a**e off to be taken seriously in the musical theatre world, and I feel like I have been working so hard. The musical theatre world is actually quite small so once you work hard, you are committed, consistent in your job and are a good company member, you can build your reputation quite quickly within the industry.”

Amber went on to tell the Daily Mail that she came from a working-class family, which saw her parents work every hour in order for her and her sister to attend singing and acting lessons. But one person who knows about the backlash from Strictly is former contestant Layton Williams, who appeared on the show in 2023.

He also had roles in West End films like Billy Elliot and The West End. Amber contacted her, telling her to put herself in a “bubble” and embrace her experience on the show. Despite the criticism, Amber claims that the program will be a “positive moment” in her life.

Another source told The Mail on Sunday that Amber has been attacked for her extensive dance resume. She hasn’t experienced the same level of success as she had anticipated. The issue is that Strictly viewers won’t be tamed by such things. They prefer to follow a journey, not a trained professional.

The star received the news that she was appearing on the show, just 48 hours before she was in the training room with her professional dancer, Nikita Kuzmin. In the past, there had been claims that Amber had been turned down by Strictly – something which she vehemently denies.

Her time on the show comes after Amber signed with top PR firm, DawBell, who represent the likes of Michelle Keegan, Sir Paul McCartney and Harry Styles. In the past, she had been represented by leading entertainment publicist, Simon Jones, who works with One Direction, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Raye and Ant and Dec.

Simon told the Mirror that while he and Amber remain friends, they parted ways professionally in November 2024 as he was “refocusing” his business.

Sarah Ferguson’s spiral from Duchess of York to shamed palace outsider

Sarah Ferguson has had her reputation severely eroded by charities and her titles, along with her former husband, Prince Andrew.

In a Westminster Abbey ceremony on July 23, 1986, Sarah Ferguson wed a prince in a scene that sounded like it was straight out of a fairy tale. Few could have predicted the couple’s fate after nearly 40 years.

Prince Andrew, who has vehemently denied any wrongdoing, has given up his titles and honors in the midst of the ongoing controversy surrounding his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. According to allegations, the former Duke of York allegedly wrote to convicted child abuser Epstein on February 28, promising to “rise above it.”

Andrew, 65, informed Emily Maitlis that he had stopped communicating with Epstein after his car accident in a 2019 Newsnight interview. Soon afterward, he was removed from his royal duties and military ties as a result of a wave of public criticism.

Sarah, a mother-of-two, has experienced a steep downward spiral as a result of recently released emails between herself and Epstein, which have drawn attention to her since their 1996 divorce. The former Duchess of York will no longer be known as Sarah Ferguson, along with her ex-husband, who was also known as her regal title.

Sarah apologized in an apology for accepting £15,000 from the sex offender on March 7, 2011, in an interview with the Evening Standard. The now 66-year-old grandmother stated to the publication, “I detest any sexual abuse of children and paedophilia, and I know this was a huge mistake of judgment on my part. I am unable to elaborate because I am so contrite. I’ll always be willing to pay back the money so that I never have to deal with Jeffrey Epstein again.

However, as recently revealed in emails published by The Sun, Sarah took quite a different tone in emails allegedly sent to sex offender Epstein, in which she “humbly apologised” for linking her “supreme” to paedophilia in the press, and praised him as “steadfast” and “generous”.

The email, dated April 26 2011, read: “I know you feel hellaciously let down by me. And I must humbly apologise to you and your heart for that. You have always been a steadfast, generous and supreme friend to me and my family.” She continued: “I am apologising to you today for not replying to your email or reaching out to you. I was bedridden with fear. I was paralysed. I was advised in no uncertain terms, to have nothing to do with you and to not speak or email you. And if I did – I would cause more problems to you, the Duke and myself. I was broken and lost. So please understand. I didn’t want to hurt Andrew one more time. I was in over-riding fear. I am sorry.”

In response, Sarah’s spokesperson issued a statement explaining that the email had been sent “in the context of advice the duchess was given to try to assuage Epstein and his threats”. Shortly after Julia’s House, a children’s hospice in Dorset and Wiltshire, announced that it would no longer be appropriate for the former duchess to continue in her role as patron.

Sarah will no longer be referred to as “Duchess of York,” a title she has frequently portrayed as “Duchess of York.” She has rarely been out of the news, despite her troubled marriage to Prince Andrew and her reluctance to fall for obscene schemes carried out by a “Fake Sheikh.”

Writining for the iPaper, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond reflects: “The rumours and scandals involving Andrew — and his ex-wife Sarah (now just plain Sarah Ferguson) — have been swirling around for more than 30 years. From Fergie’s topless toe-sucking saga to the far more sickening allegations of Andrew’s activities with Epstein, this oddly divorced couple have heaped embarrassment and damage on the monarchy. And one thing Andrew correctly identifies in his farewell note is that the continued accusations about him distract from the work of the rest of his family.”

Vicky Pattison’s forgotten first fiancé and sad split before finding lasting love

Along with his professional partner Kai Widdrington, Nicky Pattison is currently a part of the 2025 season of Strictly Come Dancing.

Vicky Pattison’s was previously engaged to her ex-partner before calling the wedding and finding lasting love with her now-husband. The former Geordie Shore star is now married to long time partner Ercan Ramadan as they tied the knot in Italy last year.

She was planning a wedding for the first time because she had previously tied the knot with John Noble. In the past, Vincent has discussed “hitting rock bottom” following her breakup with the businessman in Newcastle.

The Strictly star claims that this experience helped her become who she is today despite what she went through. When the former couple called it quits in 2018, Vicky felt that her life had broken down.

Speaking to OK!, Vicky said: “The weird thing is, at the end of 2018 I felt my whole life fell apart. It’s really weird feeling like you’re almost at rock bottom it’s almost like you’ve got nowhere else to go so you’re like: ‘You know what, I am done caring what everyone thinks,’ so you’ve got no choice but to rise from the ashes essentially.”

After discovering that John had allegedly cheated on her just months before their special day, Vicky decided to cancel the wedding. At the time, images of John touching other women in Dubai were made public.

However, John went on to say that the two of them had already called things off before his trip to Dubai. At the time of the break-up, Vicky was left in tears on This Morning as she revealed her ex-fiancé blamed her for their split and claimed he was “set up”.

She later stated, “He claims he didn’t cheat, and he hasn’t done anything wrong.” He actually claimed that because of the position I’m in, he was set up and that it was partly my fault.

Vicky was filming a wedding at the time that was intended to be a documentary. She chose to continue filming to restore the camera’s integrity rather than to leave the cameras at home.

Then, the following year, Vicky and Ercan met and they have already left history. In 2022, he proposed while on a romantic getaway in Dubai.

The couple’s weddings were held in both their hometowns, England and abroad, respectively. In addition to 150 members of their families and friends, 150 people from Marylebone Town Hall in London were present to celebrate their union.

Then they flew off to Puglia, Italy, to celebrate their second celebration. Vicky Pattison: My Big Fat Geordie Wedding, Vicky Pattison’s two-part E4 series, captured the entire experience.

The Spin’s debut film, starring Maura Higgins, received a lot of praise, and now the Love Islander is said to be in talks with Hollywood executives.

Maura Higgins could be heading to Hollywood after the premiere of her debut movie was met with heaps of praise. The Love Islander plays Rose in feelgood film, The Spin. And my sources tell me Maura’s performance was the talk of the screening on Friday night – and exciting conversations have begun with big US execs about future roles.

“Everyone was talking about Maura and how great she was. She can act and people were impressed,” tells my source. “There were a lot of important people from the film world in that room and conversations were taking place about what she does next.”

It premiered at London’s Genesis cinema on Friday night. Director Michael Head said Maura was a dream to work with – and has tipped her for success. “Maura was thrown in the deep end, but she was brilliant,’ he tells me. “She said she was playing herself but wasn’t. She was bringing elements of herself to the character. She didn’t have an ego and took direction well. I would work with her at the drop of a hat again.” “With Maura, I know she’s been very busy. She’s gone off to America. She’s a brand ambassador, influencer, I know her schedule must be packed. Bbut I think she’s got the potential to bring a fantastic actress. My nan would say she’s got something about her. She’s got that Irish sharp wit. And obviously she’s stunningly beautiful. I wouldn’t be surprised if she popped up in a Hollywood blockbuster.” It’s been a wild year for Maura. It started with her splitting with boyfriend Pete Wicks followed by a drunken kiss with I’m A Celeb campmate Danny Jones. She hasn’t publicly spoken about the Brits afterparty snog with married McFly star Danny – instead she’s busied herself with various project, including campaigns with Loreal and Oh Polly.

And she’s already mixing with the Hollywood elite, enjoying brunch with Wolf Of Wall Street star – Margot Robbie. A source said: “Maura has thrown herself into work following the Danny snog-gate. It’s been a good distraction amongst all the madness and she wants to prove people she is more than a reality star. There’s more to come from her after some very exciting talks.”

It’s no surprise that Maura excelled in the jungle, according to the Spin’s official Instagram page, which had previously been made public. With her distinctive warmth, charm, and humour, Maura is well aware of the challenges she faces.

Maura Shared: “Irish people are known for their storytelling, so it seemed fitting for me to make my acting debut in an Irish movie. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of being on set.

Producer Ismail Ismail stated, “It has been amazing to watch Maura prosper both on and off the big screen. Despite her busy schedule, we were so happy to have her join us. She was a natural in front of the camera.

“We couldn’t be prouder than Rose’s Rose, in which she portrayed the character Rose, brought her commitment and talent to The Spin. @maurahiggins, I appreciate you supporting us on our journey.

Before they have a terrible chance to save their record shop, Dermot and Elvis (Brencock O’Connor and Owen Colgan) are confronted with an eviction and need a miracle to save them.

The best pals have to venture on a road trip from Tyrone to Cork, but of course nothing is ever that easy and the two are involved in plenty of mad antics along the way.

The Instagram account shared a post on Friday (October 10) to tease Maura’s character of Rose. Alongside stills of Maura sitting at a bar and wearing a silver top and denim jeans, they posted: “Presenting Rose (@maurahiggins, Love Island and Glow Up), a beautiful butterfly trapped in a jar.

Omagh is a small town for a big city girl, and her relationship with Dermot is stalled. Rose uses decisive action after realizing her fella had itchy feet as well…

The upcoming movie also has Pussycat Dolls star Kimberly Wyatt and Tara Lynne O’Neill in lead roles, and it had its grand opening reception at the Belfast Film Festival in 2024.

Additionally, it was chosen as the official selection at Toronto Irish Film Festival, International Filmfest Bremen, and IrishFilmFesta Rome. It also won the Irish Feature Film Award at the Dublin International Comedy Film Festival.

Maura shot to fame on Love Island in 2019 and after coming in third place with then-boyfriend Curtis Pritchard, she went on to appear on Dancing On Ice as well as host the Irish version of makeover show, Glow Up.

Inside shattered House of York as Prince Andrew bombshell rocks palace

The York family will have to navigate a completely different reality from the one they’re used to, from calling themselves different to coming under new names.

Prince Andrew’s most recent bombshell announcement won’t just affect the former Duke. Also affected will be his ex-wife Ferguson, Sarah, as well as Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.

Andrew, 65, will now give up his titles and honors in a shocking decision because his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted child molester, continues to dominate the Royal Family. The former Duke of York has consistently and vehemently refuted claims that he had sex with Virginia Giuffre, a 17-year-old, while supporting her incrimination.

His decision comes just days before Giuffre’s memoir, Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, which references her alleged encounter with Andrew, is published posthumously. On October 21, the book will be available.

The Mirror examines what life in the troubled House of York looks like as the palace navigates the upcoming chapter of what has been dubbed “the Andrew problem.”

Prince Andrew

Prince Andrew was christened Duke of York after his 1986 union with Ferguson, Sarah, a title formerly held by Queen Elizabeth II’s beloved father, King George VI, before ascending to the throne. He has since returned this title along with other royal honors that were given to him.

A senior royal’s alleged discontinuation of a dukedom for more than 100 years is reported here. The Duke of Albany, Queen Victoria’s grandson, was exonerated under the Titles Deprivation Act 1917 for fighting alongside the Germans in the First World War.

Andrew said in a statement last night (Friday, October 18) that the continued accusations against me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family. I’ve made the decision to prioritize my duty to my family and country as I always have. Five years ago, I made the decision to leave the public.

We now feel like I must proceed one step further with His Majesty’s consent. I’ll no longer use my title or the honors that have been mys. I vehemently refute the accusations I have been accused of making.

Prince Andrew claimed to have stopped communicating with Epstein in December 2010 in his now-infamous 2019 Newsnight interview with Emily Maitlis. However, it has since been discovered that Andrew informed the scandalous financier Epstein that they would “have to rise above it” in an email from February 28, 2011.

Virginia, the accuser, was mentioned in this exchange, who claimed Epstein had trafficked her when she was a teenager. Additionally, Virginia claimed that Andrew had sex with her when she was 17 years old. Virginia, who passed away in April at the age of 41, has vigorously refuted the accusations made against him.

It’s understood that Andrew’s decision to drop his titles was made in close consultation with both his brother King Charles and William, Prince of Wales. The monarch is said to be “glad” at the outcome.

This finally seems to be the end of it, according to a palace source who spoke to the Express. Everyone in the room can ooh a sigh of relief.

The most recent action comes after Andrew was removed from royal duties in 2022 and withdrew from his responsibilities in 2019.

The late Queen’s infamous favorite son, who has left his duties and titles, will now spend his days living in his lavish Windsor Great Park home, his grace and favor, and ex-wife Ferguson, Sarah.

Ferguson, Sarah

Prince Andrew’s ex-wife, Sarah, formerly Sarah, Duchess of York, will from now on be officially referred to as Ferguson, Sarah, The Telegraph reported. The move will see her relinquishing her title that she had held since her wedding day with her ex-husband Andrew, back in 1986.

Sarah, who recently celebrated her 66th birthday, continued to use the title of duchess and kept a typically close relationship with her ex after their separation in 1992 and divorce in 1996. The former spouses resided in Windsor’s Royal Lodge after their wedding, and Sarah famously once said they were the “happiest divorced couple in the world.”

However, Sarah’s time within the royal family, both during and after her marriage, has included plenty of scandalous moments. In an article penned for The iPaper today, royal commentator Jennie Bond wrote: “The rumours and scandals involving Andrew — and his ex-wife Sarah (now just plain Ferguson, Sarah) — have been swirling around for more than 30 years.

This oddly divorced couple has caused embarrassment and harm to the monarchy, according to Fergie’s topless toe-sucking saga and the far more vile allegations of Andrew’s activities with Epstein. And Andrew correctly recognizes that the ongoing accusations against him distract from the work of the rest of his family, as he correctly identifies in his farewell note.

“And that sprang into the foreground.” The King and his small group of working royals must have found it very troubling to see their meticulously timed engagements repeatedly overshadowed by yet another sleazy story about the ex-Duke.

Multiple charities recently rejected the mother of two because of an email sent to Epstein in 2011 after he was found guilty of prostitution in 2008. Sarah apologized in public about the accusations she had made about him in this conversation and called the sex offender her “supreme friend.”

Eugenie and Beatrice the princesses

Apparently, Andrew’s most recent move won’t have an impact on Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, 37. The Royal Family’s Christmas celebrations will feature the two princesses, who will still be present, and who will continue to hold their titles.

The York sisters, who were previously BBC royal correspondents, must have a strong belief in their innocence, will likely face a difficult road ahead. of their accused father.

Whatever other opinions you might have about Andrew and Sarah, Jennie exclusively told the Mirror. They are brilliant parents and have raised two respectable young women. They will continue to be Princesses and be greeted at gatherings like Sandringham’s Christmas party with the rest of the Royal Family.

They have, however, maintained their loyalty to their parents throughout the entire process. They’ll be there for Andrew and Sarah through this most recent crisis, just as they’ve done in the past. They must believe the innocence protests of their fathers. They couldn’t possibly live with themselves, surely.
