Sharon Osbourne makes moving admission about King Charles after Ozzy’s death

Sharon Osbourne has opened up about the letter of condolence she received from King Charles following the death of her husband

Sharon Osbourne has opened up about King Charles’ relationship with Black Sabbath frontman, Ozzy Osbourne. The star revealed how the monarch was always so ‘gracious’ with her husband and recalled how the pair would always ‘laugh’ in each other’s company.

Ozzy passed away in July at the age of 76 from a reported heart attack, mere weeks after his emotional reunion with the band during the Back To The Beginning farewell gig in Birmingham. Sharon, who shared more than 40 years of marriage with the musician, said she received a personal letter of condolence from King Charles and has now spoken out about how she has been coping since Ozzy’s death.

She told Piers Morgan Uncensored: “His Majesty sent me a letter the next day… King Charles hand-delivered it. (It said) just how sorry he was. He knew Ozzy. We met him several times, and he’s always been so gracious with Ozzy, and they would always laugh together.

“When you look at King Charles and you look at Donald Trump, whatever anybody might think about them, it’s their business, but their days, you know how full their day is? I mean insanity, and that they had the time and the graciousness to do that for us.”

The ex-X Factor panellist also heaped praise on her three children, Kelly, Aimme and Jack, describing them as ‘magnificent’ in their support. “Grief has now become my friend,” Sharon continued.

“It is very weird to me, when you love someone that much and you’re grieving for them, it’s what I have to live with, and I’ll get used to it. I will, I have to, you know, things move on.

“It’s an ache that you wake up with and you can’t get rid of that ache. It’s like a big hole inside of you and the kids feel exactly the same way, and it’s just, what do you do? It’s inevitable that it happens to all of us.

“I would have just gone with Ozzy. I’ve done everything I wanted to do. But they’ve (Kelly, Aimee and Jack) been unbelievably, just magnificent with me, all three of them.”

Ozzy, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019, performed his final gig on July 5 in a concert that also featured performances from the likes of Anthrax, Metallica and Guns N’ Roses. Sharon revealed that despite her husband being ‘terribly ill’ over the past year, he was determined to perform and that it had made him happier than she had seen him in the last seven years.

She continued: “He knew his body was failing him. He was in so much pain, so much pain. He had pneumonia three times this year. He’d had sepsis… That’s what really, really destroyed him.

“(After the farewell gig), he kept looking at the papers, and he goes to me, ‘I never knew so many people liked me’, but that was the way he was. He knew he was famous, but not to the amount that people loved him. And for two weeks, every day was sunshine for him. Really, really happy. Happier than we’d seen him in seven years.”

Black Sabbath, established in 1968, is widely credited for defining and popularising the heavy metal genre. The band members were recently honoured with the freedom of the city of Birmingham, a tribute to their exceptional contributions to the city.

Ozzy, who also enjoyed a successful solo career, gained a new fan base when he starred in the 2000s reality TV series The Osbournes, alongside his wife Sharon and their two youngest children, Kelly and Jack.

Real reason for Davina McCall’s sudden wedding after three month engagement

Telly legend Davina McCall and her hairdresser partner Michael Douglas are said to have decided to officially tie the knot after a major recent life event

TV presenter Davina McCall has reportedly married celebrity hairdresser Michael Douglas, three months after she confirmed their engagement. The couple have been together for around seven years and Davina, 58, described him as her “lifesaver” when she was diagnosed with a brain tumour and underwent surgery last year.

According to reports, the pair enjoyed their “perfect” low-key wedding on Friday, December 5, witnessed by just a handful of their closest friends and family. “It was very intimate and everyone who attended is very special in their lives,” a source said, adding that it took place in a small venue near to their home in Kent.

Speaking to The Sun, the source said Davina’s recent breast cancer diagnosis, which she shared publicly last month following a lumpectomy, was what spurred the couple to say their “I Do’s”, adding, “they didn’t see the point in waiting”.

In early November, Davina opened up about her initial “angry” feelings about the breast cancer results, but said was in a “much more positive place” following her surgery at London’s Royal Marsden Hospital.

“I’m talking about this because I think it might help someone. And this is what I always do. It was very, very small, so I got it very, very early which is incredibly lucky,” she told her 2.1 million Instagram followers. “”But I am so relieved to have had it removed and to know it hasn’t spread.”

Opening up about “absolute lifesaver” Michael earlier this year, former Big Brother host Davina said she felt they had already faced the ultimate test as a couple during her brain tumour diagnosis and treatment.

“It’s by far the hardest thing that we as a couple have ever been through together because we had to go on separate journeys,” she told the Mirror. “But we came together at the end of it, and it’s incredible.”

The Masked Singer judge has been married twice before. Her marriage to her first hubby, Andrew Leggett, lasted less than a year and they were officially divorced in 2009.

She then enjoyed a 17-year marriage to TV presenter and explorer Matthew Robertson, with whom she shares children Holly, Tilly and Chester.

She and Michael started dating in 2018 after years of a platonic friendship, and moved in together in 2023, a year before her surgery to remove her life-threatening colloid cyst from her brain, and enjoyed what she called a “spiritual” summer together after being given the all-clear, which included a few nights at Glastonbury.

Emma Louise Connolly’s cosy M&S winter coat feels like a hug and ‘hangs so nicely’

Marks and Spencer shoppers are racing to snap up the cosy borg winter coat after Emma Louise Connolly raved about the fit, and it’s still in stock in all sizes

If you’re on the hunt for a winter coat that’ll keep you warm, won’t break the bank, and looks both timeless and effortlessly cool, then your search might finally be over. Emma Louise Connolly has shared one of her most recent purchases from high street fave Marks & Spencer, and it may just be the winter coat of dreams.

The Borg Collarless Double Breasted Longline Coat is a brand new launch on the M&S website, where you can snap it up for £100 just in time for the temperatures to drop even further. It’s currently still available in all sizes from extra small to extra large, although like most M&S pieces the chances of it selling out quickly are high, so you might want to be quick if you plan on snapping it up.

Emma couldn’t get enough of the coat, posting about it on her Instagram and calling it a “15/10” and saying her followers “gotta run” to buy it. She also posted some sizing advice on her Instagram stories, writing: “I sized up one size for a slightly oversized fit. It hangs so nicely and isn’t thick so a jumper doesn’t feel bulky underneath.”

The Collarless Double Breasted Longline Coat is made from a plush, cosy borg material that keeps you warm without feeling too heavyweight, and it has a longline fit that keeps you warm from head to toe. Or at least, from shoulder to shin.

What makes the M&S coat a stand out though is its more modern silhouette and design details. The collarless V-neckline gives it a sleek, contemporary look, whilst the relaxed shape and contrast buttons help give it some laid-back edge. Although you can throw it on over jeans and a hoodie or jumper like Emma, you could just as easily wear it over an evening dress if you’re heading to an event or winter wedding.

Similar styles are available elsewhere, such as Topshop Longline Chuck On Borg Coat which is currently on sale down from £95 to £39, although only two sizes are still in stock. Another great bargain is Urban Bliss’ Borg Coat which is £45 down from £60, with sizes 10 to 16 still in stock.

Perrie Edwards’ fiancé breaks silence on heartbreaking miscarriages and ‘difficult’ time

Perrie Edwards fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has candidly opened up for the first time about the ‘difficult’ time which saw him and Perrie lose a baby before the birth of their son

Perrie Edwards’ fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamerlain has spoken for the first time about one of the devastating miscarriages the Little Mix star suffered.

Singer Perrie, 32, revealed earlier this year in a candid chat that she had suffered two miscarriages – one of which was at 7 weeks before they had son Axel and the other was at 24 weeks in 2022.

The X Factor star Perrie and footballer Alex, 32, have been together since 2017 and got engaged in 2022, a year after welcoming their son Axel. But, behind the happiness the couple had sadly suffered personal heartache, which Perrie discussed in a podcast interview earlier this year.

Alex had remained silent on the miscarriages, but has now opened up on the impact the heartbreaking loses has had on them. He said: “When you start a family, that’s when you start to learn it’s not easy to have a child, that things can go wrong.

“It’s so difficult — especially for women when they are literally growing another human being inside them, the connection they feel to that, and then can things go wrong and they can lose the baby.

“And it’s so difficult, especially losing the baby so late into the pregnancy.” Alex then admitted he felt he had to “put on a brave face and try to hold the fort”, but struggled to do so during the hard time – however, he noted he found having his son as a distraction helped.

He told The Athletic: “It definitely helped that we had Axel to focus on, but it was obviously difficult.

“It took a while for us to get to the place where we felt, ‘OK, should we try this again?’” The couple are now expecting their second child together, after Perrie shared the news with fans in a sweet Instagram video. Alex said has said he and the whole family are “excited” about their new addition and gushed over being at home more recently.

In September this year, the family announced they were expanding in a sweet video which featured Perrie, Alex and son Axel.

Perrie shared the video with her viewers and she wrote in the caption: “Guess what hunnies…” followed by a heart emoji. The caption was in reference to a lyric in her song If He Wanted To He Would. The black and white video saw Perrie walking away from the camera with her back to the lens. She is sporting a T-shirt with the words: “If He Wanted To He Would…” emblazoned on the back.

She then turned around to face the camera and smiled widely while clutching her blossoming bump as the front of her top read: “…and he did!” Perrie’s partner Alex, 32, then joins her in the frame as he gives her a big hug and a kiss.

Perrie had bravely discussed her miscarriages on Paul C Brunson’s podcast, We Need To Talk. Discussing the second miscarriage more than halfway into the pregnancy, she revealed: “We went for what was a 20-week scan, but we were actually 22 weeks, and that was just the worst day of my life. Like horrendous. And I just knew something was wrong in the scan, and he [the doctor] just kept going over the same thing, over the same thing… I’ve never experienced an out-of-body experience where everything goes in slow motion.”

Angry Ginge’s former teacher breaks silence after I’m A Celebrity win

Morgan Burtwistle, known as Angry Ginge, has become the first social media star to win I’m a Celebrity, taking over half the votes as his former teachers at Salford City Academy speak out

Viewers were hardly taken aback when Angry Ginge was declared the king of the jungle in Sunday night’s finale of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.

After making it to the final three alongside former EastEnders actress Shona McGarty and Celebs Go Dating star Tom Read Wilson, his chances of winning the ITV show had been consistently high since the series began.

Among those who fully anticipated the 24 year old’s triumph were staff at Salford City Academy, where Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, attended high school. Having spent part of his early education at Christ Church CE Primary in Eccles and then Northern Primary School in Bacup, when his family resided there for four years, he completed his secondary education in Eccles, Salford, while growing up on the Brookhouse Estate.

His mum Michelle previously shared insights into her son’s school life, where his favourite subjects were drama and history. She disclosed that it wasn’t always smooth sailing – ‘he once got into trouble for selling Lucozade at school to make money’, but he ‘always did his homework on time’ and rose to become a prefect, school ambassador, pupil council member and, in his final year, head boy.

Now, the academy’s associate principal Katie Eaton, who taught Morgan during his tenure at the school, and executive principal Melanie Haselden, have lauded Ginge for his achievement.

They expressed: “Many congratulations to our former student and head boy, Morgan, on this fantastic achievement. All of us at SCA who knew Morgan during his time at school have been rooting for him over the past several weeks and are so proud of the way he has conducted himself and the determination, resilience and kindness he has shown. We hope he gets the opportunity to celebrate his well-deserved success.”, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Offering further insight into Morgan’s school days, Katie shared: “At school, Morgan was a shining star in his GCSE drama class, a supportive friend to everyone, and a true role model as head boy. His success reflects the leadership and character he demonstrated every day in our community, and we couldn’t be prouder of this incredible achievement.”

Angry Ginge made history in the ITV final by becoming the first ever social media star to clinch the coveted title, securing over half of the votes. His friends and fellow streamers, the Bov Boys, have also been closely following Ginge’s jungle exploits. As we previously reported, Jakey (Jake Davies), from Rochdale, predicted his mate would go all the way.

“I definitely think he’s got a great chance of winning,” he stated. “Ginge absolutely has what it takes to be crowned King of the Jungle.”

When asked if Ginge would remain a Bov Boy if he won, Jake quipped: “It depends how much he brags about it. If he’s still going on about it six months later, we might have to kick him out, but we’ll see.”
