Pete Wicks is still lapping up romance rumours with his Strictly Come Dancing co-star Jowita Przystał, almost a year since they hit the dance floor together. The TOWIE star quickly grew close to the professional dancer during their time on the BBC competition.

They were faced with rumours week after week following their saucy routines and undeniable connection. Pete even manage to make it all the way to the semi-finals, with the reality star crediting Jowita for changing his life.

Back in December, the TOWIE star left the competition after exceeding everyone’s expectations. At the time, he told Jowita the ‘ experience wouldn’t have been anything without her’.

However, Pete later shut down such rumours, telling Lorraine Kelly: “We’ve said from day one that we’re really good friends, but they just want to do what they want to do”.

Pete was said to be dating Love Island star Maura Higgins at the time, yet now their romance is over fans are still holding out hope for Jowita. The TV star did nothing but feed into the speculation as he posted a string of snaps from their time together on Strictly.

He included a steamy pose on the dancefloor, as well as a selfie in the back of a car and snaps from multiple night outs together. Alongside the post, Pete gushed: “It was never about dancing…it was about the person.

” Happy birthday @jowitaprzystal – I am so blessed and grateful to have you in my life. My pocket rocket. “He added a black love heart emoji to the post, which sent fans wild.

One said:” You two look like you belong together just saying. “Another added:” You Two. “Someone else commented:” We were always team Pete and Jowita! “

A fourth wrote:” Come on Pete you’re getting on a bit now. Time to find the one. You two are]fire emojis]. “Another gushed:” WAIT IS THIS A HARD LAUNCH???? “

Last month, Pete revealed just how much Jowita means to him as he shared how their relationship is still blossoming off the show”. A lot of that]making it to the semi-finals] if I’m totally honest, is down to Jowita, “he said.

” She was the best partner I could have had… she’s become one of the most important in my life. She’s one of my best mates, and I adore her. She had to put up with me, she dragged me through it, because it certainly wasn’t the dancing. “

“I didn’t take myself too seriously but I took the show really seriously, and I took the process really seriously, I took the learning really seriously,” he told Mail Online. “I didn’t really enjoy learning things, and that was my favourite part of the whole thing.”

Following his exit from Strictly, Pete poured his heart out on social media as he wrote:” This experience wouldn’t have been anything without Jowita. She believed in me since the first day and never stopped.

“She supported me, listened to me, made me laugh and cry but most of all she made me believe in myself when I didn’t think I could do it.

” We did everything our way, and for me that was the right way. I’m so sorry that I couldn’t get you to a final, I tried my best and you deserve to be there. The show may have ended for us but one thing won’t, you will always have a friend in me. “

Black Mirror’s Charlie Brooker makes chilling cinema prediction over ‘worrying’ AI

Charlie Brooker, who created the smash-hit Netflix series The Black Mirror, has shared his thoughts on the future of artificial intelligence as its use increases

(Image: James Gillham/REX/Shutterstock)

Screenwriter and TV host Charlie Brooker believes cinema fans will one day be able to appear in the movies they watch as part of the ticket price thanks to AI.

The Black Mirror creator is known for his dark stories on screen which sometimes predict the future.

Speaking at the Edinburgh TV Festival he said fans may become part of films and you may also be able to choose new lead stars in old classic films, with Charlie amusingly offering up the idea of “Lorraine Kelly in Die Hard”.

Asked about AI in the TV industry, possibly even providing scripts or things to watch on screen, Charlie said: “I have to believe that people want audiences, want humans communicating with them, not just the machine. So I kind of have to believe that you’re always going to want the messy human in the mix. I can see sort of the value as maybe as an analytical tool.

“A much cleverer a writer than me said to me the execs will take our script, feed them into AI sit down and watch a video, a rough video preview of it. I could sort of see that felt plausible to me, so that basically the script becomes a prompt, and then you get notes on that which worries me, I hope we will be keeping keyboards warm with flesh.”

Going onto discuss film and cinema, he added: “I had an idea once, which I think is now close to possible, say there’s 200 people going to a cinema. You go in and on the way it scans up your face, and then you sit down, you watch the film, and it’s cast the film randomly, with the members of the actual audience there. And you can do this with old films.

“So imagine if you went to see Raiders Of The Lost Ark and you don’t know if you’re going to be the Indiana Jones or a Nazi.

“I can imagine a lot of AI generated imaging kind of remix of two things so you can be like ‘ok I want to watch Die Hard with Lorraine Kelly.”

Charlie said he has recently tried to use Chat GPT to help him with a computer game but all the advice had been wrong and he has “wasted an hour”. Charlie also teased an upcoming announcement about a new and “very different” project which he expects to announce in the next few days.

He spoke about how understanding Netflix had been about him satirising subscription models in Black Mirror episode Common People, starring Rashida Jones.

“I would love to say that I stormed into a boardroom and went: ‘This must happen.’ No, they’ve been very up for that sort of thing,” he said.

Brooker said he was fortunate in being able to cast actors, including Paul Giamatti, in the anthology drama, but said he still regularly writes “begging letters” to try to land other big names. He added that most consider Black Mirror a fun gig. “It’s exciting because you’re not bored, and you don’t have familiarity breeding contempt,” he said.

After their son’s birth Calvin, the 41-year-old producer and DJ, announced the news by sharing a picture of the placenta on social media, alongside images which seem to show the organ being turned into pills.

Vick and Calvin live together on his Ibiza farm in Spain, called Terra Masia, which is known for being the island’s largest organic farm. The couple tied the knot in 2023 with a festival-style wedding at Hulne Priory in Alnwick, Northumberland, but had known each other for years. In fact, Vick revealed that Calvin had asked her out for the first time in 2007 – but said that she had rejected him at the time.

She later opened up to You Magazine: “It’s something that we laughed about on our first proper date. We still laugh about it now.” In 2022, they were spotted together in public for the first time and rumours began to fly that the pair were engaged.
