Body language expert says Alan Carr is ‘a sweating, winking disaster’ who ‘won’t last the week’

EXCLUSIVE: A body language expert has predicted that Alan Carr ‘won’t last a week’ on The Traitors due to being a ‘leaky liar’, as ‘every facial twitch is broadcasting his guilt’

Following the release of the first two episodes of the celebrity version of The Traitors, a body language expert has predicted that comedian Alan Carr ‘won’t last a week’ due to his lack of lying skills.

Last week, viewers saw Alan become a traitor alongside Cat Burns and Jonathan Ross and Alan committed the first murder by brushing some hair from Paloma Faith’s cheek during a chat in the kitchen. But after the killing, he admitted: “I feel awful. I didn’t know what else to do! I’ve gone and murdered one of my best friends.”

Former Chatty Man host Alan told the cameras that carrying out the murder had challenged him: “It was a stretch for my acting ability – I don’t know how Meryl Streep does it.” Body language expert Chris Pardoe has since given his opinions to Online-Casinos.com , and said: “Alan is what we call a ‘leaky liar’”.

He added: “Every pore, every gesture, every facial twitch is broadcasting his guilt. If body language were a fire alarm, Alan would be a five-alarm blaze.”

During the episode, Alan also winked at Jonathan and later admitted he has “a sweating problem”, to which the body language labelled the comedian a ‘sweating, winking disaster’. “Right now, he’s hiding in plain sight. But there’s a tipping point where ‘quirky behaviour’ becomes ‘suspicious behaviour.’ We’re talking days, not weeks,” Chris said,

When Alan spoke of his guilt to fellow Traitors Jonathan and Cat, he was told to “toughen up” after claiming that killing her off “broke my heart”.

Jonathan insisted: “You’re not a bad person – you’re a good Traitor. I don’t want to hear any more of this broken heart nonsense. We’ve got to start enjoying this.”

Shortly after it all played out, pop star Paloma, 44, sat down with Ed Gamble on spin-off show Uncloaked and was horrified to discover who the traitors were – and after watching the episode back, quickly dismissed Alan’s theory that he was left with no choice.

Paloma said: “I still maintain this day that if the shoe was on the other foot, I wouldn’t have done that, so I don’t think he should have done it to me and I’m surprised that he did.

“He had a choice, and it was not very nice. But he is extremely loveable and I’ve spoken to him since, and I do find forgiveness quite an easy thing, just as a person. So, I love him.”

Following Paloma’s murder, the rest of the group took to the roundtable to share their theories on who the Traitors could be, but fans have had to wait almost a whole week to find out who will be banished. The banishing will take place in tonights episode.

A Selling Sunset newcomer has a surprising connection to a familiar Modern Family star.

Netflix has dropped a brand new trailer for season 9 of Selling Sunset which is set to premier later this month on October 29.

Familiar faces are back, alongside some fresh new faces as Netflix Tudum teases: “The sun is rising on massive deals and intense drama for The Oppenheim Group agents. Selling Sunset is returning for Season 9, and with new episodes come new faces.”

One star is set to make her on screen debut as she teases some “jaw-dropping moments” that fans won’t see coming as well as “unexpected twists”.

Sofia is well known for her stint on Modern Family with the role of Gloria Delgado-Pritchett. She has also been seen on Griselda as well as Hot Pursuit.

Netflix’s Tudum confirmed the Selling Sunset star was the cousin and adoptive sister of Sofia. They teased: “If that last name rings a bell: Yes, she’s the cousin and adoptive sister of fellow actor Sofía Vergara (Griselda).”

Speaking to Tudum about her Selling Sunset debut, Sandra said: “I’ve always had an eye for design and a love for people, so combining that in real estate just clicked.

“I’d seen [Selling Sunset] and always thought the women were incredibly dynamic. But being on the inside now, it’s a whole different level of excitement.”

Sofía and Sandra are cousins who were adopted by Sofía’s parents and raised as sisters.

Sandra is biologically the daughter of Sofía’s aunt, and she was adopted by Sofía’s parents, Margarita and Julio Vergara, when she was about a month old. They were raised together in Barranquilla, Colombia, and have a very close bond.

As well as experience with luxury properties, Sandra has also made a mark on television, having worked with high profile celebrities and has even served as a correspondent for TV show People.

Charli XCX’s dig at Taylor Swift as Eras Tour documentary announced

The feud between Charli XCX and Taylor Swift continues as the Brat singer takes a swipe at music documentaries just before one about the Eras Tour is announced

Charli XCX slammed music documentaries and appeared to throw shade at Taylor Swift, just days before the Actually Romantic singer announced a two-documentary deal with Disney Plus.

Taylor announced this week that a six-part docuseries about the Eras Tour, titled The End of an Era, and a film of the final show of the tour, which will both air from 12 December on Disney’s streaming platform.

But in an interview conducted before the announcement, Charli XCX, who is thought to be feuding with Taylor, said she wouldn’t choose to do a documentary about her, as she’s not a fan of the usual format of such series.

“I feel like my problem with a lot of musician documentaries is it often shows the musician as coming up against some kind of opposition and eventually overcoming it to be the hero,” Charli told Vanity Fair. “And that’s just not been my experience, you know?”

Taylor has made no secret of how she views her Eras Tour as a massive success in the wake of opposition. She has spoken about how the worldwide tour was physically and emotionally gruelling for her, but she pushed through it to create something for fans.

In the trailer for the new series, Taylor can be heard saying: “This tour is just when every single one of us who had done so much work, pushing, inch by inch to where we all clicked together.” This comes before a clip of the singer saying she “will not be able to get to sleep” and “can’t calm down”.

Similarly, in her first documentary, Miss Americana, Taylor spoke about how she is only where she is because of a “work ethic” rather than because others wanted her to succeed. “It was all fuelled by not feeling like I belonged there. I’m only here because I work hard and I’m nice to people. That work ethic, like thank God I had that work ethic.”

When Miss Americana came out in 2020, there was no bad blood between Charli and Taylor. But in the five years since, the two appear to have started feuding and both are said to have released diss tracks about each other.

In the Vanity Fair interview, Charli declined to comment on the rumoured feud. However, her song Sympathy is a Knife is thought to be about Taylor.

In the song, Charli sings: “Don’t wanna see her backstage at my boyfriend’s show / Fingers crossed behind my back / I hope they break up quick.” Many have thought she was referring to Taylor, who briefly dated Matty Healy, the lead singer of The 1975 and bandmate of Charli’s husband George Daniel.

But, later, Charli explained that the song was about her insecurities and anxieties in the music industry, particularly how she always compares herself to an unnamed singer. Fans of Charli have said the song’s chorus, where she sings “I couldn’t even be her if I tried”, supports that.

However, fans have noticed similarities between the song and Taylor’s new track Actually Romantic which seem to suggest that Taylor was not happy with Charli.

In the song, she sings: “I heard you call me ‘Boring Barbie’ when the coke’s got you brave / High-fived my ex and then you said you’re glad he ghosted me / Wrote me a song saying it makes you sick to see my face / Some people might be offended…”

Taylor hasn’t said the song is about Charli. Instead, in The Official Release Party of a Showgirl, the film accompanying her latest album, she said: “[It’s] a love letter to someone who hates you …

“There can be this moment where it’s unveiled to you, through things that they do that are very overt. And, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve just started to be like, ‘Oh my God, you did so much with this. It’s flattering.

“That is, wow, that is very, very sweet of you to think about me this much, even if it’s negative. In my industry, attention is affection, and you’ve given me a whole lot of it.”

Kelsey Parker reveals baby plans and heartbreaking regret after tragic stillbirth

Kelsey Parker has admitted that despite the grief that came with the stillbirth of her son Phoenix, she wants to try for another baby with her partner Will Lindsay

Kelsey Parker has revealed she still hopes to have another baby with her boyfriend Will Lindsay, three months after the devastating stillbirth of their son, Phoenix.

While on her and pal Georgia Jones’s Mum’s The Word joint podcast, the 35-year-old widow opened up about her desire to keep growing her family despite unimaginable heartbreak.

Kelsey told Georgia: “I would love to have another baby. That’s not made me not want another baby. I think more it’s probably made me want a baby even more, because I was so prepared to have a baby.”

She went on to add: “And you know, Will hasn’t got his own children. He absolutely adores mine and they absolutely adore Will, which I’m so lucky and fortunate that they have got the most amazing relationship. But Will does want children of his own. If we can then we will continue to try for a baby.”

In the podcast chat, Kelsey also shared her heartbreaking regret as she said: “I think as well that when I was pregnant with Phoenix – and I feel like this is my regret – that I feel like I hid a lot because I was so worried about what people actually thought about me and – ‘oh she’s pregnant with another man’s baby’ when…

“But it’s like how can people be that judgemental and that opinionated because I actually lost that baby. I didn’t tell the world what I wanted to tell the world because I was holding back.”

She then added: “And I feel upset with myself that I let other people make me feel that way.”

Kelsey – who shares daughter Aurelia, six, and son Bodhi, five, with her late husband, The Wanted star Tom Parker – was due to welcome baby Phoenix in June. But in a heartbreaking turn, he was stillborn at 39 weeks.

The loss has been another devastating blow for Kelsey, who lost Tom in 2022 after a battle with brain cancer. A source told OK! that Kelsey “truly believes Tom is up there looking after baby Phoenix,” adding that she has faced “so much grief in one lifetime”.

Kelsey met her new tree surgeon boyfriend Will Lindsay two years after Tom’s death, and the pair announced they were expecting their first child together in January.

She described the pregnancy as a “blessing” when they shared the news, but the couple’s joy turned to sorrow when Phoenix “was born sleeping”.

Kelsey said her bond with Will and her children has kept her going through this tragedy. “It’s bittersweet. I thought I was going to be at home with a newborn,” she added.

Kelsey has also tried to navigate telling her children about the loss as honestly as she can, without upsetting them further. She previously told Lorraine: “They’ve lost their dad, they know their dad’s with the angels now, so we told them, ‘Phoenix has gone with your daddy.’”

Graham Norton admits he ‘zones out’ when celebrity chat show guests ‘drone on’

Graham Norton, famed for his BBC chat show The Graham Norton Show, gave some chat show secrets whilst he was promoting his latest novel Frankie at a literature festival

Graham Norton has admitted he sometimes “zones out” when celebrities tell boring stories on his chat show – knowing they’ll never make the final edit.

The BBC star, 62, has now been hosting a BBC chat show since 2007. Before that he fronted one on Channel 4 although in a new interview he joked the calibre of guest was less impressive in the early days. He joked some guests from the early days “he wouldn’t run over in a car” now.

Speaking at the Cheltenham Literature festival Graham said it has taken years to establish the relaxed format with big name guests so they now want to return and be on the sofa.

He explained: “I mean, the idea is, I’ve asked them all, I’m the host, they’re the guest. The plan is they have a nice time, and they might want to come back. And I think it’s taken a years and years and years to establish that. I think particularly American stars, they’re very nervous. I mean, I’m not a journalist, but I think they still see me as part of the British press. And the British press is a much tougher on people than the American press.”

He then went on to admit he sometimes “zones out” when guests tell longer stories. He said: “Because the show is edited, you know, there’s always that kind of bit of insurance. So, you know, I don’t interact. If somebody’s droning on for a very long time with very boring story, I don’t have to stop them. I can just zone out knowing no one will see this on television. And the chances of them watching the show are quite slim, so they’ll never know that their moving story wasn’t in.

“I remember John Voigt [US Actor] once I told a very long story about being a young actor in New York. He managed to move himself to tears. We cut it out.”

Graham, who has won five BAFTA awards for his series, also said one weakness in other chat show hosts, at least initially, was to think the programme must be all about them.

He said: “I think some people go into it thinking the show is going to be about them. And I get why you would think that, because my name is over the door. I run on at the beginning and everyone is going, yay. So it is kind of the big I am, but only for a few minutes.

“The minute you get those guests out, then it’s your job to make them, you know, be funnier, be more interesting, be more famous, even when they aren’t, they usually are.

“But that is your job, and you become sort of like a little comedy butler at the side. And I think some people are a bit deflated to discover that, oh, actually, these people need to talk.

“Because, you know, if I say something funny on the show, you know, it has been a bad show because they’ve left it in. The ideal show is when the funny comes from the sofa.”

Graham was appearing in Cheltenham to promote his new novel Frankie. He is the author of five hugely successful novels, all of which have been bestsellers in the UK and Ireland and have won or been shortlisted for the An Post Irish Book Awards. Graham’s debut novel Holding was made into a high-profile TV drama in 2022, and Home Stretch and Forever Home have both been optioned for major TV series.

On writing and what it fulfils in him that interviewing doesn’t, he said: “I think it’s the only thing I do that I feel like I own completely.

“In everything else in my life it involves meetings. There’s always a meeting about everything, and there’s always a slight sense at the end of that meeting that that’ll do, or, you know, it’ll be fine, whereas with this(writing books), I make all the decisions, and whether it succeeds or fails, it’s mine, and it’s the only thing I really feel complete ownership. Which I know is odd because I have a show called The Graham Norton Show, but I really do feel like I share that show with a band of people.”
