Prince Harry might find himself back in the same country as his separated father, King Charles, next year, but it seems like a possible reunion won’t be possible.

After a long-awaited reunion, Prince Harry is still to have a follow-up face-to-face meeting with his father, King Charles. The pair, who are known to have a rocky relationship, had their first meet-up in 18 months earlier this year, when Harry stopped by Clarence House for tea with his dad while on a trip to the UK.

It came after Harry said his father was no longer talking to him amid his court case against the UK Home Office over his security arrangements while in the UK, which he ultimately lost. But several months on from their 55-minute meeting at Clarence House, many are wondering when their next reunion could be. And it appears that in the first half of next year, they could be in the same country again.

Reports have suggested that King Charles and Queen Camilla could be embarking on a state visit to the USA, the same country where Harry resides with his wife Meghan and children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, who have barely seen their grandfather.

But despite the potential close proximity, royal expert Jennie Bond says it’s unlikely a meet-up during this trip would be on the cards. The former BBC royal correspondent told the Mirror : “State visits are incredibly busy. The schedule is worked out months in advance and is tightly packed with carefully curated engagements designed to enhance bilateral relations.

“The King wouldn’t want to fly across the entire country to visit Harry and his family in California, and there is very little downtime,” the King said.

According to sources in both Washington, DC and London, the state visit’s plans allegedly include a trip to the White House in late April for a number of historic occasions, with the condition that Charles’ health permits him to travel.

The Trump administration’s “major moment” is being planned in the lead-up to the July 4 Independence Day celebrations, according to The Sun, in order to commemorate the 250-year anniversary of the founding of the United States.

Jennie thinks Charles would still be adamant about seeing his grandchildren despite the busy schedule. He has only occasionally met Archie and Lilibet once.

She continued, “I’m sure Charles would enjoy having his grandchildren again, and I suppose it’s conceivable that the Sussexes could fly to New York or wherever the King and Queen are based for a brief reunion.”

“But visits like this are about as official as they can be, and they aren’t really meant to repair strained family relationships.” The purpose of the visit would undoubtedly be obscured by a meeting.

Vogue Williams confesses she found herself making apologies to mates and relatives after rumours swirled that she was heading into the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! jungle.

The 40-year-old podcasting sensation was a late arrival on the popular ITV programme alongside Tom Read Wilson.

However, there had already been more than a month of rumors that the mother-of-three had been named a potential contestant by betting companies.

Vogue made her I’m A Celeb debut with TV figure Tom on November 19, reports the Irish Mirror.

Before her participation was officially announced, Vogue revealed details about the rumor mill while hosting the Vogue and Amber podcast with her older sibling Amber Wilson.
