Roman Kemp forever haunted by one regret about parents – ‘I feel so guilty’

Roman Kemp admits regrets not having enough time with his parents despite sharing memories of growing up with two musical icons.

Roman Kemp has admitted that his parents’ relationship is the only regret he regrets. The broadcaster was a member of musical royalty, with his mother Wham and his father Spandau Balle icon Martin. and Shirlie Kemp, a Shirlie legend, and Pepsi &amp.

Roman, 32, was raised in a musical family and was immediately exposed to the bright lights of fame. George Michael was his godfather, according to him. However, Roman has since established his own career while still appearing on television with his parents.

The broadcaster and Martin, 64, previously shared a hilarious on Celebrity Gogglebox, where they frequently caused laughter from their clever and quick one-liners. Roman acknowledges that both of his parents are in his best interest, and that he feels guilty about them.

“They’re my heroes,” he exclusively told the Mirror. He added: “They really are. My one regret is that I don’t see them enough. Recently, I go through stages about our mortality in depth, and I have those moments. Even though I can make a podcast with my dad about him dying.

You’re like, “My parents are going to die one day,” you say, “I understand that logic.” I have my parents, which is incredible. I believe the most important regret is that I need to alter how I view them. I believe that I’m giving work too much of my life right now, but I also believe that when I consider things and what is important to me, it’s about having the opportunity to enjoy the moment with them.

Roman reflected on his life and his downtime with his parents, saying, “We had a wonderful time last year, and you can’t forget those memories. I have no words to add but they are simply the best. I find it very energizing to see them outside or working.

“How fortunate am I to visit that website. No matter how many people try to tell me, “You’re privileged, or “your dad got you that,” I have the one privilege of watching my mother and father hold hands and kiss each other, and that’s it.

However, Roman doesn’t mind the label of “nepo-baby,” which is associated with famous parents. He acknowledges that he is not in the business “for fame.” He works because he believes in having a “cool job,” which gives him the opportunity to take vacations and make memories with friends.

His parents have instilled a sense of normality in his life, but also allow him to take on their experience of the “celebrity world” and what really matters. “You can only do what’s best for you, you can only want to surround yourself by the people that matter to you,” he commented.

The TV star continued, “All the other things, it’s a little fun, the only people who matter to me are my family and my close friends. Roman admits to having this conversation with Martin, who told his son that he only recalls moments with his friends and family and doesn’t remember purchases.

Due to his passion for travel, Roman has recently been named Marriott Bonvoy’s official Getaway Guru in a partnership with Nectar. It’s a no-brainer, he said, “I always believe that what people spend their money on is experiences.” When people leave, realizing that the experience you are purchasing lasts forever, I’m always an advocate for them.

He said, “It’s difficult for anyone to be able to provide for your family and give your family those memories,” reflecting on the state of the country as it is right now and the price increases. Anyhow, the thought “I can do this and I can help me toward a hotel or a trip away” can help to relieve that or give you inspiration.

Roman acknowledges that he enjoys taking holidays because they let him learn. He continued, “I went to South Africa,” before stating that he had sought out a tour guide for the trip. He continued, “I like an itinerary. One of the best advice I’ve ever had, and one I use it constantly, is to take a food tour when I leave. Roman can absorb both the agricultural industry, the socio-economic situation, and the local culture in addition to these factors.

“I enjoy learning when I leave,” says one student, “I’m always the one who asks, “Where is the history I can go and find?” He continued, “It’s such a fun role to take on.” This partnership with Marriott Bonvoy x Nectar is all about helping people reevaluate how they organize their vacations, and I really like it. They did a lot of research, I think. According to research, 41% of Brits think about their weekly food choices just as much as they think about their upcoming vacation.

He has made sure that all of his dining plans are pre-booked in before he even arrives in a destination, and he also meticulously plans his dinner outings. “Food is a huge thing on holidays, trying local food, I think it’s really important to try and do – eat at local places,” according to the statement “I’ve had the best meals of my life in places that don’t look boujée.”

I’ve been a member of the ” Adventurous Eaters ” group because, according to the Marriott Bonvoy x Nectar research, I always look for local food wherever I go. How can your shopping habits reflect your travel style cleverly? He continued, “I always try not to worry when it comes to spending when it comes to holidays, I think about it, and the best thing I can do is experiences. It’s just trying your best to travel somewhere and experience the culture there as much as you can.

It has been announced that Sofialite Lady Annabel Goldsmith passed away at the age of 91.

In the swinging ’60s, Lady Annabel was a significant figure, and her husband’s name was given the name of a well-known nightclub in Mayfair, London. After being opened by Lady Annabel’s husband Mark Birley in 1963, Annabel’s is still one of London’s most glamorous nightclubs.

The 8th Marquess of Londonderry’s youngest daughter, Lady Annabel, was born in Londonderry. She was also a significant figure in the 1960s’ swinging, and she was a dear friend of Princess Diana’s passing.

One of the hottest six-foot-square pieces of ground in London, she previously described the nightclub’s name as “the dance floor.”

“I can’t recall seeing it empty. From the Kennedys to the Royal Family, everyone was there, and I once found myself seated next to Frank Sinatra unaware.

The socialite leaves behind Zach Goldsmith, a former Conservative MP for Richmond Park, and Jemima Goldsmith, a producer for films. Her children are said to have been deeply depressed by the socialite’s passing.

In 1949, she became known as Lady Annabel at the age of 15. Two years later, her mother, who was the daughter of Surrey’s Major Boyce Combe, passed away from cancer. Her father passed away in 1955 shortly after her mother’s passing.

Lady Annabel was close to royalty because of Queen Elizabeth II’s 1952 ball. In addition, Lady Annabel was a dear friend of Princess Diana’s passing.

Before her tragic car crash in Paris, Lady Annabel previously revealed the last words her friend Diana exchanged with her.

Celebrity Traitors favourite eyed-up for huge new show after huge popularity

Celebrities like Alan Carr, Jonathan Ross, and Cat Burns as Traitors in a drama-filled debut feature the well-known faces vying to win £100,000 for their chosen charity.

According to reports, the BBC is attempting to arrange a large-scale payment for the new chat show hosted by Celebrity Traitors. Celebrity Traitors is already a well-known company, and it looks like one person could land themselves a job there.

Almost a decade after his Channel 4 series, Chatty Man, Alan Carr is said to be in early talks to launch a new chat show after his popularity on Traitors. The 49-year-old has offers galore as there’s also rumours that production companies are keen for a format alongside fellow show companion Jonathan Ross.

Alan is one of the the Traitors on the new BBC show alongside Jonathan and singer Cat Burns. Alan has managed to keep his cover so far and no one has suspected him of being a Traitor.

According to a source, “Alan is a natural raconteur and viewers are getting to see him at his absolute best.” He could attract a few big names onto his show because of his exceptional likeability and incredible contacts book.

His agent has received a lot of offers and ideas over the past ten days, and the BBC wants to keep their standout Traitors asset. Although Jonathan Ross had a vehicle with him, it seems unlikely that Wossy [Jonathan Ross] will actually have a year to extend his own chat show, according to reality.

Celebrity Traitors is already off to a great start, surpassing all other unscripted shows in viewership since 2022. More than half of the show’s fans watched the first episode of the new series live on television, which was watched by almost 12 million viewers.

6. 5 million live viewers tuned in to the first episode of Celebrity Traitors, with 52.7 per cent of households having their televisions turned on, according to the BBC. Numerous of their fellow celebrities have already been murdered by Three Traitors.

The actress Ruth Codd followed after Paloma Faith’s best friend Alan killed her in plain sight, followed by Olympic diver Tom Daley’s death.

Some people are starting to look at Jonathan despite the fact that none of the Traitors have been resolved by the Faithfuls so far. One winner will be chosen and receive up to £100,000 for the charity they choose.

The program begins on Wednesday and Thursday and concludes with a special 70-minute episode on November 6. Nine episodes will follow. However, many viewers have pointed out that the traditional version typically airs on Fridays as well.

Steve Coogan’s new series How Are You? will air on Fridays instead of Celebrity Traitors. On BBC One, it’s Alan (Partridge) who is scheduled to air at 9 p.m.

Some viewers aren’t all that thrilled, as many were waiting patiently for the next episode. The public is depressed on social media.

One person said, “I want it boom, boom boom, and I want it only two episodes a week, that’s the only thing that spoils it for me,” with the other saying, “Sure, two episodes a week is criminal.”

The Mirror have contacted the BBC for comment.

Prince Andrew still presents ‘impossible’ problem with no way out as King can’t act

His older brother King Charles III is still dealing with an “impossible” problem that won’t be so simple to resolve as Prince Andrew relinquishes his royal titles and honors amid yet another royal bombshell.

A specialist’s analysis of Prince Andrew’s situation, which included his older brother, King Charles, and his brother, Prince Andrew, has revealed how he continues to pose an “impossible” problem despite having his royal titles removed.

In a statement issued yesterday (Friday, October 18), Prince Andrew, whose friendship with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein has sparekd controversy in recent years, announced that he will no longer be using his titles or honours, stating: “In discussion with The King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family. I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life.

We now feel like I must proceed one step further with His Majesty’s consent. I’ll no longer use my title or the honors that have been mys. I vehemently refute the accusations I have been accused of making.

The Epstein accuser’s posthumous memoir, Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, which is scheduled to be published on October 21 is the subject of this sensational announcement just days before.

Now, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond has exclusively told the Mirror that King Charles still faces significant hurdles when it comes to his controversial younger brother.

I’m concerned that the King will let this one go for a while, Jennie said. Perhaps that is enough for the time being because he has made his brother give up his honors and titles.

“He has tried in the past to persuade Andrew to leave Royal Lodge – but to no avail. Andrew has a cast-iron tenancy agreement, and as long as he can abide by the terms of that agreement and pay the costs of upkeep, it’s next to impossible to make him leave. I think the King now intends to let the matter rest, at least for the time being. I think the Royal Family is now on a better footing.

The institution of monarchy was suffocated by the Andrew problem. The Palace can at least claim to have taken what is almost the ultimate sanction: public humiliation once more for Andrew and the forced relinquishment of his titles. There are still court cases going on in the United States about Epstein, and there may be more revelations in Virginia Giuffre’s book.

With this in mind, Jennie has also shared her thoughts on what the future king, Prince William, may be thinking about the action taken against his uncle. She reflected: “I think William has been pushing for tougher action against his uncle for a long time. It must be so dispiriting to be working hard to make the monarchy relatable, modern and a force for good in the world — only for its reputation to be so relentlessly trashed by lurid headlines about Andrew.

“I think William was the one who pushed Andrew’s arm so far behind his back that he finally squealed that he would give up his title, and I think he was heavily involved in the discussions about what should be done. William is determined to change the monarchy, and once his mind is clear, he is entirely focused on achieving his goals. William was determined to clear the way because the “Andrew problem” was putting an unnecessary impediment in the direction of those goals. His voice would have been heard loudly during the King’s and his brother’s discussions.

With the York family now in the spotlight, Judi also considered how Andrew’s daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, will be treated by their royal relatives going forward. She said, “Whatever else you might think about Andrew and Sarah, they are brilliant parents and have brought up two very decent young women. They will remain Princesses and be welcome at events with the rest of the royal family, such as Christmas at Sandringham.

They have, however, maintained a strong commitment to their parents throughout the entire process. They’ll be there for Andrew and Sarah through this most recent crisis, just as they’ve done in the past. They must believe the innocence protests of their fathers. They would have to live with themselves, after all.

Lily Allen offers olive branch to ex David Harbour after affair heartache: ‘We all suffer’

After discovering his three-year affair, singer Lily Allen has openly discussed her split from Stranger Things star David Harbour and the effects it had had on her and her children.

Lily Allen has revealed how her painful breakup with Stranger Things star David Harbour has affected her mental health.

Allen and Harbour began dating in 2019 and married in a Las Vegas ceremony in 2020. After four years together, they quietly split in late 2024, with their separation confirmed earlier this year. The 40-year-old singer has since spoken candidly about her split from the actor, 50, and its impact on her and her children.

My kids had an amazing time living in America for five years, and Lily has since expressed her feelings for my ex-husband. We all suffer, in my opinion. Following the discovery that David had a secret profile on the celebrity dating app Raya, Lily revealed she had become suicidal after their four-year union ended in December.

The singer reportedly joined Raya herself after posing as a “looking for women” and discovered that David had already made a profile, which had put her in “agony.” Following the devastating split, the star has since agreed to pay £8, 000 per week for trauma treatment at a report.

Despite her difficulties, Lily also revealed to British Vogue that she “came close to relapsing on drink and drugs and developed a really, really bad problem with food.” She acknowledged that over the past few years, she’s had real issues with her diet. It got really, really bad in the middle of the breakup.

The singer described how overwhelming the despair was after six years of sobriety. I was experiencing “so much desperation.” It was agonizing to sit with those feelings and choose not to use them because I last experienced them when I felt anything like that.

Lily voluntarily entered a residential treatment facility after realizing she needed assistance. I’ve previously entered those areas against my will, and I consider that to be progress. That’s strength, on her self-awareness. I was aware that the emotions I was experiencing were too extreme to handle, and I needed some rest.

Although she has made progress, Lily admitted in March that she is still struggling and that she is still in pain. I’m sort of fleeing. I might experience a nervous breakdown.

She announced that she would be leaving the Brooklyn townhouse she once shared with David after the split. The couple’s elegant New York home, which featured a Parisian-inspired media room and tiger-print furnishings, was recently renovated and featured in Architectural Digest.

Lily purchased an ex-council flat in London, where she plans to raise her two daughters. She told The Mirror that decorating the flat has helped her through a difficult period. “I’m really enjoying those at the moment. I’ve obviously had quite a hard time and that’s really helped me.”

On her, Miss Me? According to the interview, Lily explained why she chose to purchase the new apartment because it is “slap bang” in the neighborhood where she was raised and is being gentrified by the neighborhood.

She continued, “I’ve wanted to live in this building since I was a baby, and it’s been a dream of mine forever, and I finally found a flat there, which I did,” and I did. However, I am aware that others are judging it. In her New York home after the breakup, Lily also openly discussed how “extremely heavy” and lonely life there was. She also earlier this year spoke out about it.

From Tuesday, October 21st, you can download the full feature from the November issue of British Vogue.

‘Our babies were taken away in cardboard boxes and effectively put into landfill’

Gina Jacobs informed her that her precious stillborn baby boy would receive a proper burial when he was delivered. It was a devastating lie…

Gina Jacobs realized she had been told a terrible lie decades after her precious stillborn baby boy was forever lost in a cardboard box. After being informed that Robert had been buried “with a nice lady” in a nearby cemetery for more than 50 years, Gina has been grieving for her for the past 50 years. The truth of what really happened, which Gina only discovered a couple of years ago, was horrendous – and happened to hundreds of other families.

If you had a stillborn child, you just had to get on with it, says Gina, 81, from Greasby, Merseyside. I never even saw my baby because he was taken away from me. He was put into a cardboard box and we were told that he would be buried with someone who was already being buried that day or the next day. Out of respect for the family, we never thought about it and never inquired as to where he was buried. That family appeared to be fictitious. We just knew he would be in one of the graves in Landican Cemetery in Birkenhead and for decades my late husband Jim and I would walk around the cemetery wondering ‘ Where is Robert? ‘”

Stillborn babies were taken from families before the 1980s, and their families were never informed of what had happened to them or where they were buried. Ever since that devastating day on February 3rd, 1969, when Gina gave birth to Robert, her third child after a daughter Karen and son David, she believed he had been looked after.

Then in 2022 she was watching a local BBC news report, during which a woman named Lilian Thorpe said she found her baby after similar circumstances. Gina credits Lilian for giving her the courage to search public burial records and eventually she found Robert’s exact resting place at Landican Cemetery in Birkenhead. But what Gina discovered was like a gut punch. Instead of being buried in a grave, many stillborn infants were buried in shared or mass graves – often in unconsecrated ground, with no plaque or marker and with the families given no information.

Robert was reunited with 62 more infants before being found. When Gina told local authorities, ‘ That can’t be right, he is with someone buried that day’, she was told, ‘ Oh, they told everybody that’. Gina, who has eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, is now assisting other mothers and fathers in finding their children. She says it has been joyous to be able to say “Your baby has been found” despite the fact that she almost every day hear depressing stories from traumatized parents all over the UK.

They wouldn’t let us see our baby, Gina, who worked in care and youth work. I missed even a glimpse. They stole that memory. No one saw any babies who had been living for a while. I have it in my dreams. We were all told the same thing, that our babies would be buried with a nice family, with their permission and a little blessing. It was all accepted by everyone. We were a generation that didn’t really challenge authority because we were so traumatized.

” They played on how vulnerable we were. Never did anyone give a reason for it. Although the word “” is a relatively new one, it has a lot of weight. The hospital staff didn’t know the truth either, I’ve spoken to midwives – they firmly believed it too. But those who brought that baby to the cemetery that day knew that they were telling us lies. Robert was transported from the hospital morgue to the local cemetery by my now-deceased husband in a cardboard box.

“People were struggling and the majority of these babies travelled on the bus to the cemetery in a dreadful cardboard box tied with string, on their dad’s knee. One man I know had to attach the box to his bicycle’s back. Another person was informed that “Hurry, you can catch the next bus.” And another poor man had rope marks on his hands because he had to carry a heavy full-term baby but he didn’t want to put the box on the ground”.

Gina adds: “Nobody consented to our babies going into what amounted to landfill for babies. That is not our intention. They are all unconsecrated, without any blessing, and the stillbirth register does not even permit a Christian name. We’ve named them unofficially, but when I have asked if they could be named on the register the answer is still no, because there’s no place for a name to be inserted. It’s terrible. A gravedigger has mentioned that Robert’s grave was sometimes left open for 15 months, as per what he’s heard. I’ve heard reports of babies being wrapped in plastic bags and left in dirty sheds until the grave was ready”.

Gina recalls the time of Robert’s birth and how Karen and David, her older children, were eager to bring the child home. When a stillborn child is born, she recalls “the terrible silence.” She says: “I remember Karen was talking to David and she said, ‘ I wish the baby hadn’t died, who’s that other bed for now? ‘ that “cut like a knife”

Gina has since started the Facebook group Gina’s Sleeping Babies Reunited, with help from friend Diana Williams, who got in touch early on and found her own little baby, John. Gina says: “Since discovering where Robert is in the cemetery, I have spoken to other women and it has led to me looking for hundreds of babies. My husband died 15 years ago never knowing where his son was because we were lied to.

” I found Robert because they gave me a map of the graves, it was so hard to find, a grave digger helped me. I was relieved to finally be able to locate him. I’ve now made the entire area nice and straight. If babies are found they can take their rightful place in their families. Unfortunately, not all babies can be found, sadly. We count ourselves fortunate. They have vanished and there are fears they were taken for medical research. “

Gina, who frequently runs for the school, says, “I have a lot of energy for my age, but it can all be very overwhelming.” She still rides her bicycle everywhere and still cares for the great grandchildren. A sibling is trying to find a sibling, or the fathers have passed away quite frequently. I know one woman whose baby has been found but she’s elderly and lives abroad now so she can’t visit the grave. I’ve promised to keep it looking good for her.

When you have to explain a baby’s location to others, it’s heartbreaking. I feel so responsible. I had the unwavering conviction that they could all be found when I embarked on this journey. But there are times when they can’t, which is terrible. However for those families who have now found their babies, they are overjoyed. They are able to pay tribute and travel there.

Gina, who lives with her second husband Arthur, has the backing of MPs in the Wirral and has already received the Wirral Award for supporting bereaved parents and helping them find their born asleep babies and establish new memorials. However, she and other parents want an official apology from the government.

The issue was raised during Prime Minister’s questions, but while then PM Rishi Sunak expressed sympathy, he stopped short of an apology. Wes Streeting, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, has pledged to meet Gina and any others affected – Gina plans to show him letters from dozens of bereaved mothers. On November 4, Gina has organised a church service and blessings at Landican Cemetery, attended by local religious leaders including the Bishop of Chester, where names of the previously forgotten babies will be read out.

A Department of Health and Social Care spokesperson says: “Our sympathies are with all the families affected. This is appalling and should never have been allowed to happen. We expect all hospitals to act with compassion and transparency, providing as much information as possible to any parents seeking to understand what happened to their stillborn babies, no matter how long ago their loss happened.”

Gina asserts, “Robert has not passed away in vain. We are helping people who have been terribly wronged. We simply want some closure.
