Today might be the ideal day to invest in a new e-reader if you enjoy them and believe your current device is no longer in its prime. The Amazon Scribe, the top-of-the-range Kindle, has been discounted by Amazon Prime Day 2025, which is even better than we had anticipated.
The most recent Amazon Kindle Scribe model is now priced at £267.99, which is an incredible £112 less than its regular $ 379.99 price. This is the lowest price the Scribe has ever been listed on Amazon, according to price comparison website Camelcamelcamel.
Amazon is also offering up to 31% off on a number of other models, including the allegedly fastest Kindle ever, which is now priced at £118.74 from £159.99, for those looking for a more affordable option.

The most recent, second-generation Kindle Scribe, which was released in December of this year, has a modernized software and a fresh design. It’s the largest Kindle available thanks to its 10.2-inch screen, which is ideal if you want a bigger display for reading.
The Scribe’s size is a result of a dual purpose, according to the Express, which allows you to create your own E-Ink notebooks for use at work or on the go.
Because of this, the Scribe comes with a stylus pen. You can also annotate e-books that you bought from the Kindle Store in addition to taking notes. This feature is especially useful if you enjoy taking notes while reading for pleasure or research, and it’s a real plus if you’re studying for exams on your Kindle for school or university.
The size of the Scribe isn’t just about the screen. It offers the longest battery life of any Kindle, promising up to 12 weeks of use, even with the backlight on, for reading at least 30 minutes per day. Although a cable is included in the box, the Kindle is not charged via USB-C.
You will receive a free update to the Scribe software from Amazon. This includes word-processed text summaries, which are made possible by AI-powered notebook summarization, making them ideal for separating up long-term thoughts or breaking down meeting notes.
Additionally, the update makes it possible to write notes in e-book margins or attach a sticky note anywhere on the page to create a flow around the note.

Amanda Holden was mortified after realising she accidentally flashed her electrician. The Britain’s Got Talent judge opened up about the horrifying moment to Heart Breakfast co-host Jamie Theakston this morning as she admitted she had ‘no idea’ everything she was doing was on a time-lapse camera.
The 54-year-old woman decided to install a time-lapse camera in her backyard as a “fun” idea as her garden is being worked on over the summer. The electrician said to her, “Oh well, I’ll have to look at what we’re doing because all the angles are right on that.”

The electrician mentioned to Amanda that the camera has been “always on fire in the back garden” for the past few days during a conversation.
She told co-host Jamie, “No word of a lie, I have definitely been naked, and then for a joke, I was sorting something out in the garden when my husband waved at me from the bedroom window, and I flashed my boobs at him.”
She responded, “Because I thought this was funny! ” when Jamie inquired about what was wrong with her. And I yelled “woo-hoo!” before Jamie realized it was all time-lapse footage, “like that,”
The actress claims that in her garden and home frequently she is naked.
She continued, “I had no idea! I had no idea it was up because it was all stuck to a black drainpipe and the camera was black, and Andy will soon be reviewing the footage, so I need to get rid of it.
Jamie jokingly asked, “And can you access this footage on the phone? ” “So it’s all automatically uploaded to the cloud.” “Asking for a friend”
Last month, Amanda ignored any Ofcom complaints by appearing to be naked live on air. The BGT judge’s outfit on the ITV talent show’s finale was criticised by some viewers, but she was clearly unfazed.
On Heart FM’s Breakfast Show’s live stream, she appeared completely naked and cast off any objections. Even her co-host Jamie did a double take as a result of her appearance.
“Good morning, Mr. Theakston,” You think I look naked this morning after I just caught myself on camera at 6:30 am? “Sat behind me here” she inquired.
Jamie retorted, “You are wearing clothes, aren’t you,” and he seemed to stumble. His pal and co-host were both puzzled by his comments. She nodded her head and said, “I just looked and went, What? ” Have I forgotten to sew my clothes?
The star appeared to have no clothes on and only have a chunky pearl necklace visible because of the camera’s angle. She was photographed outside of the London studios while also sporting a pale pink strapless dress.

Kris Jenner has gushed over her granddaughter Penelope Disick as the teen reached a huge milestone by turning 13. Momager Kris penned a sweet message to the teenager on social media.
“The world is yours, my sweet P,” Kris wrote as she shared a heartfelt tribute to granddaughter Penelope Disick as she officially enters her teenage years.
The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch, 69, took to Instagram to celebrate Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick’s only daughter hitting the milestone birthday, alongside a string of sweet throwback snaps.
“My beautiful granddaughter Penelope is officially a teenager,” Kris wrote, posing in one photo alongside Penelope and a much younger Kourtney “I can’t believe you are 13 today!”
The proud grandmother, nicknamed Lovey by her grandchildren, continued: “P you are such a smart, strong, confident, kind, fun, and amazing girl. You’re the best daughter, sister, granddaughter, friend, cousin, and niece, and you make all of us so proud every single day.”

Heart Radio presenter Amanda Holden has told fans about a humorous mix-up that she believes “could potentially be terrible” for her. Live on-air on Wednesday, her co-star Jamie Theakston asked if what she had done was “career-threatening” for her, to which she firmly replied: “Yes!”.
Explaining the story, the 54-year-old said she recently had a camera installed in her garden to create a time-lapse of her garden project. Fitted by her trusted electrician Andy, she believed it wasn’t going to be switched on until the coming Friday.
After getting him round her house to sort another job however, he informed her that it had been live from the moment he fitted it in. Detailing the awkward moment, she said: “I get him round the other day because I needed something else putting up, and he goes, ‘ I’ll have a look at what we’re doing to make sure the angle is alright on that camera’, he said, ‘ It’s been going for the last couple of days’.
” I went, ‘ I beg your pardon?! ‘ He said, ‘ Oh yeah, I’ve downloaded the app’, he said, ‘ I just need to make sure the angle is right’. “

The Britain’s Got Talent judge proceeded to ask Jamie: “Can you imagine what I’ve got up to in my garden in a couple of days?”.
After her co-star speculated about the concerning footage, Amanda confessed that since the camera was fitted, she had mowed the grass naked and had cheekily flashed her husband.
” I’m always naked in my back garden, “she continued”. I’ve definitely been naked, and for a joke the other day, I was sorting something out in the garden and my husband waved at me from the bedroom window, and I flashed my boobs at him, because I thought this is funny and I went ‘ wahoo ‘]flashing] like that. “
Amanda insisted that she had not only forgot about the camera due to it blending in with her drainpipe, but also didn’t realise it was already live.
What’s more, is the electrician has access to the camera from his phone, as all footage is automatically downloaded to a file.
” I had no idea it was up, and now Andy is going to be reviewing this footage and I need it all deleted, “she shared.

Oasis have revealed a new detailed map of Heaton Park for their upcoming gigs in Manchester, with the front standing area taking up around 10% of the space

Oasis have revealed the best way to get to their shows at Heaton Park, which kick off this weekend. Noel and Liam Gallagher will be performing on home soil for the first time since 2009. They’ll play five sold-out concerts at the Manchester location, to around 80,000 fans every night.
But there’s a huge change, there is a massive front standing section which appears to occupy roughly 10% of the entire venue, with those holding front standing or ‘front pit standing’ tickets, as it’s alternatively termed in the update, granted their own dedicated entrance via Sheepfoot Lane. General admission ticket holders must enter through Bury Old Road.
The fresh details once more stress that no food or beverages may be brought onto the premises, and chairs are forbidden. One recommendation for watching Noel and Liam perform is to “bring a foldable blanket to sit on” though it must fit within your bag.

You’re also prohibited from bringing food and drink into the concert area of the park. Nevertheless, water stations will be available. Guidelines specify: “You are welcome to bring an empty plastic bottle, we will have water refill points on site.”
Heaton Park opens its gates at 3:00pm. The final time that performances will conclude is 10:30pm, whilst food stalls will continue trading until 11pm. There’s also an extensive catalogue of prohibited items that cannot be brought to the event, listed as follows:
Bags bigger than an A4 piece of paper will not be allowed, including backpacks
Chairs of any sort, including stools, shooting sticks
Illegal substances – we operate a zero tolerance on drugs/legal highs and entry will be refused for those attempting to enter the event with any.
Medication – please ensure you bring a prescription to coincide with any medication if you are bringing this for security to check on arrival.
Glass (of any kind) or cans, including spray cans or gas canisters
Laser equipment or pens
Fireworks, flares, Chinese lanterns, klaxons, air horns or other similar items capable of making a loud noise and any item which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon
Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, roller blades, personal motorised vehicles (unless a Mobility scooter – please see Access Information)
Umbrellas or parasols of any kind
Professional camera equipment and/or drones
Flags and banners of any kind.
Food & Drink, although you may bring your own refillable water bottle.
Animals (with the exception of assistance dogs) are not permitted at any time.

For those heading to Heaton Park, there’s a range of transport options, including shuttle buses and the tram. Alternatively, you can walk it from the city centre: A clearly marked walking route will guide you straight from Exchange Square/Victoria station along Cheetham Hill Road / Bury Old Road.
This path is recommended for both pre- and post-concert travel. It’s well-lit, serviced by numerous amenities and guarantees you won’t lose your way! The most straightforward journey from the city centre to the venue and vice versa, it’s also likely the fastest post-gig return option.
Expect about a 50-minute stroll along Cheetham Hill Road to reach the park. In April, Noel finally opened up in a new book about the Oasis Live 25 tour. Reflecting on the ticket demand, Noel shared with photographer Kevin Cummins: “I thought it’d be a big deal, but I was a bit taken aback by just how much of a big deal it was.”
Liam reunited with the rest of Oasis for rehearsals on June 3, expressing his “biblical” excitement at performing with brother Noel after a 16-year hiatus. Earlier in the year, when asked to pick his favourite Oasis track, Noel responded: “Can I have more than one? Supersonic, Some Might Say, Live Forever and Rock’n’Roll Star.”
The UK gigs are set to include special appearances by Richard Ashcroft and Cast, long-time mates of the band.
