Limp Bizkit star Sam Rivers’ final photos revealed before tragic death aged 48

Sam Rivers, the bassist for Lipp Bizkit, shared heartwarming photos from a trip to London that were posted days before his sudden passing, at the age of 48 yesterday.

Just weeks before his death, Limp Bizkit bassist Sam Rivers shared a peaceful moment with fans online, posting a photo from a summer trip to London. The Instagram post, shared on August 22, showed the 48-year-old enjoying his trip in the capital.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day, the late musician said. In London with my favorite and the LB Fam, he wrote alongside the now-distant image, which has since evolved into a place for fans to leave their tributes, in the following: #limpbizkit #limpbizkitstyle #limpbizkitfamily #nothingbutlove.

The band confirmed Rivers’ death on Saturday, despite not revealing a cause of death. His bandmates described him as the group’s “heartbeat” and far more than just their bass player in a heartfelt statement.

“In Loving Sam Rivers’ Brother’s Name. Our brother was lost today. Our bandmate. Our heartbeat is.

Sam Rivers was pure magic, not just our bass player. The soul in every song, the harmony in every situation, and the peace in every song.

The tribute continued, “Sam brought a light and a rhythm that could never be replaced. From the first note we ever played together.” His heart was incredibly strong, his presence was unmatched, and his talent was effortless.

We shared so many beautiful, wild, and quiet moments, and each of them meant more to Sam because he was there.

He was a “once in a lifetime” type of person. A true legend of legends. And his spirit will remain present in every song, movement, and memory forever. Sam, we adore you.

“We’ll always have you with us.” Brother, please be easy. Your music is unending. — DJ Lethal, Wes, John, and others.

The band’s long-time turntablist, DJ Lethal, also posted a personal tribute to Rivers, urging fans to support the music he helped create.

Sam rivers is our love. At this time, please respect the family’s privacy. Sam can play Sam River basslines all day by giving him his flowers! We are shocked.

Rest in your brother’s power, please! You will continue to live on thanks to the lives you, through your music, your charitable work, and your friendships. We are devastated to enjoy life for the life of our species. It is not certain.

Rivers and drummer John Otto, both of whom were born in Jacksonville, Florida, co-founded Limp Bizkit in 1994. Wes Borland, a guitarist, and DJ Lethal later joined the band.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, who is also married to Prince Harry, made an emotional appearance at a weekend charity event in honor of the late son of a close friend.

The Los Angeles Tennis Club hosted the George Zajfen Tennis Tournament on Saturday, October 18, “in honor of George Zajfen and his love of tennis.”

Young George, the son of former model Kelly McKee Zajfen and her husband, entertainment lawyer Julian Zajfen, passed away in 2022 as a result of a hiccup. The Alliance of Moms, a group that supports “expectant and parenting youth in LA’s foster care system,” was established by Kelly, who has known Meghan for a long time before she gained notoriety.

The money raised at this heartfelt occasion was used to assist young mothers and advance their futures. Meghan could be seen wiping away a tear as Kelly, who is also the mother of Lily, addressed a speech at the tournament while Harry watched closely behind her.

She wrote: “I’m in awe of what we did together! Truly amazed. We raised a record-breaking $200,000 for our youth right here in Los Angeles and across California. Your generosity and support continue to change lives and keep George’s light shining so brightly. YOU did that.”

Kelly then directly addressed Harry and Meghan, saying, “I wanted to express my gratitude to Ziffren Brittenham and The Archewell Foundation, our presenting sponsors.” You continue to amaze me with your unwavering support for the community and unwavering support for friendship, Meg andamp; H. We’re so happy that you backed The Alliance once more this year.

I’m always amazed at your courage to stand up for our family, for this cause, and for others. Thank you for guiding us in Georgie’s light and keeping him in your thoughts. You are our love.

According to what it is known, Trevor Engelson, the ex-husband of Meghan and Julian, is how the two first met. Meghan and her glamorous pal have been friends for the longest and most romantic reasons.

Kelly revealed during a Q&A on Instagram that she had known one of the most famous women on the planet and that she had known her for almost 20 years. She even attended my wedding a long time ago! and the most wonderful, loving, and nurturing person I’ve ever met. She has supported me since Georgie’s passing, and we have a special bond. She continued, “I’m never ending in awe of her.

I believe that the concept of time has been stolen from us in a recent piece for People about Kelly’s touching loss of her son. So I embrace my community more than I ever have by living in the here and in the moments that follow. My community showed up, boy.

The number of people who have visited and continue to support our family has completely shocked and overshadowed me. For the kindness that was shown, I alternate between my sorrow and my gratitude. When I opened my eyes in complete denial the day after my son passed away, I will never forget the day we were able to see him.

READ MORE: Kelvin Fletcher and family devastated as blaze destroys farmhouse – ‘The stuff of nightmares’

Kelvin and Liz show viewers the damage that their home suffered when a fire broke out while they were away during the first episode of the new Fletcher’s Family Farm series, which aired on Sunday morning.

The Fletchers were forced to relocate to a different location because the damage was so extensive that they could not live there. Kelvin admits that all of his clothing was destroyed in the fire, while Liz and Kelvin appear emotional as they examine their damaged possessions.

The former soap star explained what had transpired by saying that “the year has started busy, but it hasn’t all been plain sailing.” Our farmhouse experienced an unexpected and devastating disaster at the end of last year, despite the animals’ best efforts.

The fire, according to the report, originated in that area, but it actually reached through the roof, and the roof is completely gone.

Our farmhouse, which has stood for more than 200 years, is surrounded by Cheshire’s rolling hills and Peak District National Park.

“We’ve transformed it into a loving family home at the heart of our farm since moving in four years.” However, sadly, a setback cost us our home at the end of last year.

Strictly Come Dancing star Vicky Pattison almost suffers ‘nip slip’ live on air in wardrobe malfunction

Vicky Pattison, the star of Strictly Come Dancing, celebrated her highest score of the series so far with a wardrobe malfunction, leaving her almost red-faced.

Week on week Vicky Pattison has been striving for top marks following her performances on Strictly Come Dancing. And this week the former Geordie Shore star finally achieved her highest score of the series.

However, she was nearly a wardrobe malfunction that prevented her from giving her a celebratory hug with her professional dance partner Kai Waddington. And the incident was shared on TikTok, which immediately became popular.

Vicky had been awarded her highest score to date and was told by lead judge Shirley Ballas that she could potentially make it to the final. But as she hugged Kai, she realised she may have been a little over zealous with her movements and quickly checked that she had not fallen victim to a wardrobe malfunction.

Vicky is seen pulling at her toe-moving top while her legs are wrapped around Kai. And when Claudia Winkleman, the host of the show, saw the situation, said, “I love you Vicky, that was your highest score.

Vicky is later seen laughing as Claudia addressed the audience while unable to stop her excitement. Vicky has endured other red-faced Strictly moments as well.

She will never forget a moment she experienced during the dress rehearsal last week before the show from last Saturday.

Speaking on her podcast Get Grip with Kai and Angela Scanlon, she recalled: “Saturday was just like a disaster from start to finish, I think. Do you know my little headdress thing? “

She continued, explaining that, “I put that on and we were dancing in the dress rehearsal, which was a move where my head went down and came up.” And I kept trying to shove my headpiece up and it kept falling back over my eyes as it completely fell off the wig.

She is also feeling pressure from being a mother, despite the pressures of making it to the final.

The 37-year-old TV personality revealed that the pressure to start a family has been very excruciating after the wedding of her long-term partner Ercan Ramadan last year.

Speaking on the Women’s Health Just as Well podcast with Gemma Atkinson and Claire Sanderson, she explained: “My mum told me ‘If not having children is your trajectory, that’s fine,’ which I thought was powerful. I think we’re coming around to the idea as a society that a woman doesn’t have to have children to be fulfilled – and, for me, there’s still a huge question mark over motherhood.

She continued, “I’ve worked hard to finally reach a place where I’m proud of who I’m becoming, and the thought of taking a break frightens me.”

Meghan ‘stretches the truth’ after crushing blow and ‘no longer has commitment’

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and Prince Harry engaged in a direct conversation about the ongoing partnership they have with streaming service Netflix, but a royal expert believes she was “extraying the truth.”

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has had a busy few weeks, from making an unexpected appearance at Paris Fashion Week to meeting with high-profile friends in New York City and accepting a prestigious award alongside Prince Harry.

In one of her most recent appearances, she participated in a comprehensive discussion about her business plans and discussed how things are with Netflix now that Harry and Meghan’s relationship with the streaming service giant underwent a significant change.

Meghan compared the couple’s “first look” agreement, which allows Netflix to submit any ideas they have first, but if the company fails, they can move them elsewhere, to that of the Obamas, but one royal expert is a little more skeptical about the current state of affairs.

Meghan and Harry signed a significant, exclusive deal with Netflix in 2020 that was reportedly worth £75 million.

Although the Duchess’s own lifestyle show, With Love, Meghan, received mixed reviews, the self-titled documentary series about their love story broke viewership records for the streaming service.

Meghan praised the new agreement during the conversation for the Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit 2025 as a positive step forward, saying: “My husband and I were in an overall agreement with Netflix, and then, once that had come its term, the extension of it was now being in a first-look deal.

Which is also exciting because it enables us to shop content that might not be appropriate for Netflix but has a home elsewhere at the same time as it does our partners.

The Duchess also said she was “grateful” for the “creative partnership” she has with the streaming company. However, expert Jennie Bond, formerly royal correspondent for the BBC, told the Mirror exclusively that she thought Meghan’s comments were “a bit of a stretch”.

The expert argued that the new Netflix deal is a sign of strength, which is “well, I think it’s a bit stretch to say.” Who wouldn’t, however, put a positive spin on something like that? And from what I understand, Netflix is currently commissioning programs in a fairly routine manner. Meghan is free to try her ideas elsewhere because it lessens the pressure on her because she is no longer bound to a certain number of projects.

The royal commentator added that Meghan’s professional life opened with the focus on “being an influencer and businesswoman.”

“She has now reverted to being an influencer and is learning how to become a businesswoman. Good for her, ” she said, “I’m sure it’s important she keeps her profile as high as possible by speaking at summits and conventions. And diversifying to share her recipes and tips on social media seems an obvious move which, I think, could prove both popular and very lucrative. She’s an independent woman forging her own way in the world after her brief incarnation of being ‘Royal’.”

Hollyoaks’ Debbie Dean star 20 years after exit including pop star husband

Jodi Albert, who played Debbie Dean on the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks, is a far cry from her days.

A soap favourite who appeared on Hollyoaks during the noughties looks unrecognisable nearly two decades after her final appearance on the Channel 4 drama.

In 2002, Jodi Albert, who plays Debbie Dean in the fictional Chester town, popped up in the town and created a powerful drama.

She arrived with her older sister Steph Dean (Carley Stenson) along with the famous Dean family, which included her parents Frankie (Helen Pearson) and Johnno (Mark Powley), as well as her brothers Jake (Kevin Sacre) and Craig (Guy Burnet).

With moments of setting foot in Hollyoaks, Debbie caught the eye of the local lads, including Dan Hunter (Andrew McNair), whom she later dated before cheating with his best mate.

Away from working at Tony Hutchinson’s (Nick Pickard) restaurant, Debbie wanted to become famous and took part in a reality show. She also strived to launch a singing career.

But tragedy struck on Christmas Day 2024, when her on/off boyfriend Dan’s rally car exploded and killed him. This sparked the beginning of Debbie’s exit and left Hollyoaks in 2005.

Jodi made several guest appearances as Debbie, her last one being in December 2006, despite leaving the show after three years. The Inspector Lynley Mysteries and Casualty also made guest appearances for the actress.

Before becoming well-known on Hollyoaks, Jodi, now 42, was a teenager in the British band Girl Thing.

The pop group released a top 10 single in 2000 with Last One Standing, and they reunited in 2014 for The Big Reunion.

In 2008, she also joined the Irish girl group Wonderland in partnership with Louis Walsh. Their album peaked at number eight in the UK charts before splitting in 2011.

Away from show business, Jodi is also a qualified yoga instructor. In 2020, the actress took to Instagram to reveal she’d completed a 14-week course to teach a variety of yoga poses.

Kian Egan and Westlife’s Maria Egan

Jodi and Westlife singer Kian Egan, 45, wed in a romantic ceremony in Barbados in 2009, and they have three sons, Koa, Zekey, and Cobi.

Kian said at the time, “I took Jodi to Barbados in 2003,” explaining why they chose Barbados as their wedding location. Our only previous relationship was eight weeks.

You can tell you’re on vacation as soon as you arrive in Barbados because everyone there is friendly and relaxed. It resembles Ireland a little bit.

“We enjoyed the place so much we decided to have our wedding there”, reports OK!.

The couple already reside in Barbados, but they made the decision to raise their children in Sligo, the couple’s home state.

In the early 2000s, the Westlife star, who resides with his wife Jodi and their three children, constructed the stunning Strandhill beachside home with family in mind.

Kian told RSVP Live: “I suppose as the years went on and we got married and started having children and talked about the idea of where they would grow up and what type of lifestyle we wanted them to have, it just felt like no matter where we went in the world, Strandhill was the place for us.”

The couple and their children travel to Barbados for warmer climates, where they enjoy surfing, in the winter months, to escape Ireland.
