Five huge stars Quentin Tarantino would only ever work with once

Not all of them were willing to work with him again because of his reputation for putting on memorable roles that were customized to each actor’s strengths.

Because the director is known for frequently casting his favorite actors, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Madsen, and James Parks have all appeared on screen in at least four Quentin Tarantino movies.

The respected filmmaker can create his cinematic gems with familiar faces in this manner.

Tarantino is known for making movies with particular actors in mind.

A true film aficionado, Tarantino boasts an extensive knowledge of his craft. With a repertoire that includes Django Unchained, Jackie Brown, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, and Reservoir Dogs, the American director has consistently delivered box office smashes.

While he often works with the same actors across multiple films – such as Uma Thurman, who starred in three of his movies, and Tim Roth, who also appeared in three Tarantino classics – not all actors have been invited back, reports the Express.

Numerous stars, including some household names, have only ever worked with the renowned director, despite rumors, and some never even made the cut. Some of the actors featured here have lacked contact with the legendary director.

Smith, Will

Smith, Will never actually shared screen time with the esteemed director, but he was once seriously considered for the lead role in Django Unchained. Despite being approached for the part, the casting ultimately fell through.

The collaboration reportedly fell apart because of clashing creative perspectives between the actor and director. According to YouTube channel Backstage Whispers, both men had completely different visions for Django.

After Smith’s official exit due to diary conflicts, Jamie Foxx eventually secured the role with a commanding audition.

Tarantino wanted annoyance, violence, and moral ambiguity, the channel revealed. No one was willing to compromise, so the deal fell apart as Smith fought for a redemptive arc.

Bruce Willis

Bruce Willis, a member of the Die Hard franchise, dominated as Hollywood’s most acclaimed action hero and A-list star throughout the 1990s. While filming Pulp Fiction in 1994, the action legend reportedly demanded crystal-clear character explanations and straightforward explanations.

Willis allegedly insisted on always understanding the psychology of his character, but Tarantino refuses to give actors too much of a detail.

After meeting with producer Harvey Weinstein, Willis expressed interest in working with Tarantino because he enjoyed Reservoir Dogs.

However, things changed. Willis’s statement, “Few people will work with him now, and I know I will never work with him again,” was made during a conversation about The Expendables 2 in 2012 by Farout magazine. A screaming director doesn’t make for a pleasant set experience, despite the excellent crew. However, look, we all survived the hardships.

Throughout the entire filming of Pulp Fiction, Willis and the director engaged in heated exchanges, which, in Willis’ opinion, lasted until the conflict reached a boiling point.

The pair have never collaborated again despite being able to create what would become a classic.

George Clooney

George Clooney, who had just returned from his ER television success, was a star in Robert Rodriguez’ and Tarantino’s 1996 blockbuster.

With Tarantino portraying Clooney’s brother in the movie, their working relationship blossomed.

Only once did the pair communicate, and later comments made the pair frosty.

In an interview, Tarantino said that Clooney wasn’t a real movie star.

In a GQ interview, Clooney responded that he had been “a little irritated” by Tarantino’s remarks and that he was now like, “all right, dude, ****off.” I don’t mind giving him ****. He gave me ****”.

Robert DeNiro

DeNiro was a star in Tarantino’s 1997 triumph Jackie Brown, which also had Pam Greer as a supporting actor.

De Niro and Tarantino have only collaborated once, despite Tarantino’s enormous admiration and praise for their acting prowess.

For their one and only partnership, there have been a number of unproven theories, including those involving the star’s fee.

John Travolta

Screen legend John Travolta only worked with Tarantino on the set of Pulp Fiction, where he portrayed Vincent Vega, like Willis. The director was praised for casting him in this powerful role in the 1990s, which helped revive Travolta’s career.

One of the biggest stars of his time, Travolta, according to Far Out magazine, but a string of poor choices and subpar movies had stifled his popularity by the early 1990s, the year Tarantino launched Pulp Fiction.

Shamed Prince Andrew’s reduced life inside crumbling Royal Lodge with odd hobbies

Prince Andrew has hid himself in his crumbling Royal Lodge home where it has emerged what he does all day after announcing he would be giving up his titles.

Prince Andrew has holed himself up at his Royal Lodge home ever since new allegations began to emerge about his association with Jeffrey Epstein.

After announcing he was to give up his Duke of York title, Andrew has shut himself off from the outside world inside his sprawling Windsor estate. Revelations in the posthumous memoir of Andrew’s sex accuser, Virginia Giuffre, have placed increasing pressure on the King’s brother. Andrew denies all the claims. And while he stay inside the confines of Royal Lodge, the terms on which Andrew is allowed to live there have also come under fire.

Since 2003, Andrew has paid $1 million for the lease and another $ 7.5 million for renovations to the 30-room mansion.

In response to calls for a parliamentary inquiry, the Prime Minister also stated just yesterday that Andrew’s rent-free mansion should be subject to “proper scrutiny.”

Andrew hasn’t left the massive home he shares with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson since he abruptly cut himself out of public life in 2019 following his newsnight interview with the network.

Now, sources have revealed exactly how Andrew has been spending his days living in his crumbling mansion, which appears to have been centered around video games and TV shows.

The prince, according to a source, spends his days playing Call of Duty, a war game, and sitting in his large living room next to a big screen.

Ingrid Seward, the royal biographer, reported to the publication that a friend had reported to her about Andrew and Fergie watching TV on the biggest screen my friend had ever seen while they were visiting them at the Royal Lodge. It appeared to be “taking up the entire wall”

It is also reported that he fills his days watching golf coverage and TV, with an insider describing him as a TV aficionado. Meanwhile, another hobby Andrew is said to have taken up inside his home is plane spotting.

The one-time helicopter pilot, commended for his bravery in the Falklands War, can watch flights land and take off at airports all over the world, according to Royal correspondent Richard Kay’s previous article in the Daily Mail.

The prince has become obsessed with the app, which is a favorite of planespotter nerds, claims a visitor to Royal Lodge. The prince has only recently been spotted driving his car or taking his twice-weekly horse rides, despite the fact that he has reportedly not left his home since the recent scandal broke.

Andrew would frequently travel across Windsor Great Park for a cup of tea with her before her death, as did his late mother, the late Queen.

However, Ingrid continued, “His life is very empty, he’s very lonely, and I believe he’s very bored.” His ex-wife Fergie, who is no longer using her Duchess of York title, is one of the people he can count on for company at Royal Lodge.

Together with her, her five Norfolk terriers, Sandy and Muick, the late Queen’s corgis, and him, he lives in the same house. However, according to reports, Fergie basically has her own private wing of the property, leading a nearly separate life, given the size of the large house.

In old social media posts on Instagram, she previously gave a glimpse inside the house, showing off it’s grand conservatory as well as the vast grounds.

On Wednesday, the Commons passed a law allowing the King to formally remove Andrew from his dukedom.

The prince announced last week he would stop using his Duke of York title to avoid distracting from the work of the royal family, but an Act of Parliament would be required to formally remove the dukedom. York Central MP Rachael Maskell has set out legislation which would grant Charles the power to remove titles.

The monarch would be able to remove titles at his own volition, at the request of a joint committee of Parliament, or at the request of the person who holds the title.

Truth behind Tess and Claudia bombshell Strictly exit as they flee crisis hit show

Although the writing has been written on the wall for some time, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman’s Strictly Come Dancing exit shocked the showbiz industry.

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman are waltzing away from Strictly Come Dancing in a bid to “go out at the top” and before anymore scandals around the show surface.

In a decision that stunned fans the pair put out a video confirming they would quit when the current run comes to an end, with the final episode on screen together going out on Christmas Day.

The pair’s apex, who always had a pact to leave together at the same time, was previously reported to the top show executives a few weeks ago, but their video on social media misled many of the Strictly cast and crew. Insiders claimed that Tess and Claudia have been having private conversations about leaving.

Tess and Claudia wanted to rise to the top, a source said, “while the show is still huge, and shortly after they received MBEs. Midway through the series, it becomes a bit of a swansong and doesn’t distract the viewer from the winner.

“Claudia is right at her career peak with The Traitors and other TV offers flooding in. Tess has been hosting the show for more than two decades and like that idea of more weekends with her family and her friends.

They considered it was the right time to stop because the recent scandals surrounding the show have also had a slight impact on the ratings and there may be more.

According to a source close to the duo, “they always said they would go together when they felt right, and it just feels right this year.”

A video was posted on social media by the pair letting people know they were leaving.

The pair said in a statement that Strictly was a “dream come true because of our work as a duo.”

We were always going to leave together, but now it seems appropriate to do so.

“We will have the greatest rest of this amazing series and we just want to say an enormous thank you to the BBC and to every single person who works on the show. They’re the most brilliant team and we’ll miss them every day.

When we say the final “keep dancing,” we will cry, but we will keep saying it to one another. Just possibly while eating some pizza while wearing tracksuit bottoms at home.

It’s very difficult to express what Strictly has meant to me in words, Winkleman said in another statement. The best relationship I’ve ever had has been.

I’ve always believed that leaving a party before you’re ready to go is wise, and I’m looking forward to seeing how Strictly fared. Tess, I’m so lucky that I got to sit right next to you. I love you because you’re funny, kind, smart, and a true friend.

Tess began hosting the program in 2004, working with late Bruce Forsyth, who remained a presenter until he resigned in 2014.

In 2004, Claudia began presenting its spin-off program It Takes Two while also joining the Strictly team.

Before the pair began presenting the main program ten years ago, she continued to co-present the Sunday night results show alongside Daly in 2010.

In response to Claudia’s post, Judge Motsi Mabuse responded, “Going to miss you so much.” You are a model and inspiration. Still shocked, but full of love and best wishes for you.

They state that new judges will be announced “in due course” in a BBC statement.

Early names in the frame included Zoe Ball, Rylan Clark, Alan Carr, Alison Hammond, Holly Willoughby and Anton Du Beke.

Former It Takes Two host and contestant from 2005, Zoe Ball responded to the news by saying: “Absolute class act. Ladies, thank you. “Huge love”

Another former It Takes Two host, broadcaster Rylan Clark, claimed it was his “biggest pleasure” working with the “pair of icons.”

The BBC also confirmed Tess and Claudia will leave Strictly Come Dancing at the end of the current series and their last appearance together on screen will be on the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special which will air on Christmas Day on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

The BBC’s Chief Content Officer, Kate Phillips, stated, “I can’t believe I’m saying this, but Tess and Claudia’s decision to bid farewell to the Strictly ballroom is the end of an era.” They have both been incredible hosts, and their enthusiasm and commitment have gone above and beyond. They have contributed significantly to Strictly’s success over the past 20 years, but I am aware of why they have decided it’s time to give up the glitter ball and take their weekends off. They are fab-u-lous presenters, and they are fab-u-lous friends to me and so many others at the BBC, as Craig would put it. We will miss you a lot, so thank you Tess and Claud for everything.

Other backstage actors and crew members allegedly found the news surprising.

We are going to miss Tess and Claudia, said Suzy Lamb, managing director of BBC Studios’ entertainment division. Tess brought class, poise, and a sincere passion for the show that persisted throughout. And it was only in 2014 that Claudia’s charm and razor-sharp wit made it possible for us to join It Takes Two, cementing a relationship that has kept our audience interested ever since. We’ll miss Tess and Claudia dearly, but they’re also going to be our friends because they’re Strictly production family, and we’re happy to see them.

Dave Ball dead: Soft Cell star famed for hit Tainted Love dies after completing album

The band Soft Cell confirmed that Dave Ball, the guitarist behind the hit band, passed away at the age of 66.

Electronic musician, a well-known member of the pop duo Soft Cell, passed away on Wednesday after just one day of recording his final album with Soft Cell. Marc Almond, Dave’s bandmate, paid tribute to Tainted Love, Say Hello, and Wave Goodbye.

Almond, 68, said: “Dave was in such a great place emotionally, so it’s difficult to write this, let alone process it.” We literally completed the album a few days ago, and he was so focused and delighted with it.

It’s so sad that he had hoped that his year would be so positive, and I take comfort in knowing that he had heard the finished record and thought it was a fantastic piece of work. The music by Dave is now better than ever.

“His tunes and hooks are still unmistakably Soft Cell, but he always elevated it.” He had a fantastic musical genius, and we have been traveling together for almost 50 years.

We were two belligerent art students who wanted to do things our way, even if it was the wrong way in the beginning. Although we never really understood mistakes as they were, we were naive and made them.

“The adventure was just part of it,” he said. Dave and I used to be a little chalk and cheese, but maybe that’s why our chemistry worked so well.

Almond continued, “There was always that warmth and chemistry whenever we came back together after a long break.” Our combined songwriting had a strong voice because of a deep bond of mutual respect.

We shared a love of music, movies, and humor, and we laughed a lot. Dave had a wealth of wonderful and unexpected musical references and shelves full of books.

I’m very proud of our legacy because he was Soft Cell’s heart and soul.

Almond added that “His music and memory will always be beloved by Soft Cell fans,” and that Almond will always be remembered. Someone will enjoy a Soft Cell song at any given time in the world.

“Thank you, Dave, for making music that you gave me and for being a huge part of my life. Without you, I wouldn’t be where I am right now.

Dave and Marc performed their final live performance just weeks before his passing, and it is now his final one. At the Rewind Festival in Henley-on-Thames, the duo performed.

After the pair met at Leeds Polytechnic, where Dave had been studying art, Dave and Marc met and formed Soft Cell. The duo began in the 1970s and lasted until 1984. They were most well-known for hits like Gloria Jones’ Tainted Love, Say Hello, Wave Goodbye, and Torch.

A number of pop synth duos, including Pet Shop Boys, Yazoo, and Eurythmics, were born out of their music.

In Strict Tempo, Dave’s solo album, was released while with the band. Additionally, Ball collaborated with artists like Pet Shop Boys, David Bowie, and Kylie Minogue as a producer, songwriter, and remixer.

Ruth Codd slams Traitors cast and opens up on off-camera issues

As another contestant calls the celebs the “worst faithfuls ever,” Ruth Codd has criticised the informal “hierarchy” she encountered on Celebrity Traitors and shared off-camera issues.

Celebrity Traitors star Ruth Codd has hit out at the “hierarchy” between the celebs who appeared on the hit BBC show. Opening up about the issues she faced off-camera, Ruth shared an insight into what it was like to be on the show and how being a “strong woman” made her feel “lonely”.

Ruth was a fan favourite on the show. Her no-nonsense attitude was beloved by fans but ultimately led to her being killed after she raised suspicions about Jonathan Ross.

The actress has spoken out about what it was like to work on the show and the “hierarchy” that she believes played a role in her exit since leaving.

According to her, “there was probably an unspoken hierarchy in there, and that put some people at a disadvantage because I haven’t worked in the industry for a very long,” she told The Times.

Being a strong woman can sometimes be lonely because you come across as aggressive and difficult. I don’t believe I’m one of those. I’ll just say what I want to.

Her comments sparked a huge debate online as to whether there was a divide behind the scenes on the Celebrity Traitors. Some argued that Paloma Faith, Tom Daley and Clare Balding were all killed off as well, so being a household name wasn’t necessarily protection on the show.

One person said, “Paloma, Tom, and Clare were taken out so that makes no sense. Other people also claimed that her actions on the program were to blame, saying she “made herself a threat” by attacking Jonathan Ross.

However, others pointed out that this itself may be a sign of the hierarchy. “She’s spitting tbf,” one fan wrote. “No one would dare look at Stephen Fry or Jonathan Ross.”

Others noted that, of all the contestants on the show, only three were in their 20s and comparatively at the start of their careers – Ruth, Niko Omilana and Cat Burns. Of those three, Ruth was the third to be murdered and Niko was the first to be banished, leaving just Cat in the game.

Cat continues to exist, but it could be that the hierarchy is keeping her since she appears to be “flying under the radar.” One fan responded, “I thought the same. It’s the reason why people didn’t listen to The Two Joes and Ruth when she was there. And perhaps that’s why Cat is flitting under the radar. Another once remarked, “She’s spot on. Niko experienced the same fate.

Niko, one of the show’s “worst faithfuls ever,” said he had his own opinions on the program. Niko said in a statement on his Instagram accounts, “Oh, it’s Niko, you are a YouTuber, you are gone, you untrustworthy scum.”

That roundtable is the most intense thing I’ve ever seen in my life, according to one of the things you guys didn’t notice. And they must cut it down for TV and cut it shorter, of course, but there were some people who were “mad about me.”
