Strictly’s Tess Daly ‘led decision to quit show’ in ‘Thelma and Louise style video’ with Claudia

A body language expert claims that Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman are the ones who sensationally left Strictly Come Dancing today despite this fact.

The decision to quit as hosts of Strictly Come Dancing was primarily Tess Daly’s, a body language expert has claimed.

Tess and co-host Claudia Winkleman shared the shock news this morning in a joint Instagram video the pair made in ‘Thelma and Louise’ style. In it, the pair revealed they would both be quitting the BBC show at the end of this year’s series, which ends on December 20.

Tess, 56, and Claudia, 53, wrote in the caption that hosting Strictly was an “absolute dream.” They continued, saying they “loved working as a duo” and “always going to leave together,” and that this is “the right time.”

Thanking the audience and the crew, they added: “We will have the greatest rest of this amazing series and we just want to say an enormous thank you to the BBC and to every single person who works on the show. They’re the most brilliant team and we’ll miss them every day. We will cry when we say the last ‘keep dancing’, but we will continue to say it to each other. Just possibly in tracksuit bottoms at home while holding some pizza. Tess & Claud.”

But, according to body language expert Judi James, the real reason for the presenting duo’s exit seems to be more on Tess’ side than Claudia’s, who is currently enjoying huge success with other shows like The Traitors and The Piano.

Younger Claudia, who also hosts the Saturday morning show on Radio 2, is currently one of TV’s hottest presenters, and she has no signs of slowing down.

Expert Judi told Paddy Power Games: “The Instagram video looks like Thelma and Louise levels of behaviour, to announce together and mid-series and to both quit together – until you remember that Claudia is the hottest, most sought after name on TV at the moment.

Of course, their body language here seems to indicate something. Claudia is the one who is confident and uses specific “means” to convey her message. However, her entire body is scrunched up to keep her attention on Tess while she is listening intently.

She says, “She acts as if she is the one supporting her,” and that Tess behaves in a protective, loving manner.

Tess appears a little more emotional and less assured. Making it appear as though any backstory is primarily hers, she seems to draw strength from Claudia.

Tess is in charge of Strictly now that it has been 21 years. Bruce Forsyth, who passed away in 2017 at the age of 89, was her former co-host. Claudia presented the Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two when it all first aired.

However, when Bruce decided to move on to spend more time with his family in 2014, Claudia took over as Tess’ host. He claimed that he was “tired” when he was in his eighties when he first started hosting the two-hour live show.

If I make a mistake with the auto-cue, it’s always big news, according to Bruce in an interview at the time, and I don’t need all of that because it’s always live every week.

Meet The Beatles tour guide becomes celebrity favourite ahead of Liverpool biopic filming

With the addition of numerous biopics in the works, The Beatles’ world-wide love affair continues. Dale Roberts, a tour guide to Liverpool, explains why celebrities still flock to the Fab Four’s hometown.

It’s been over 60 years since four lads from Liverpool released their debut single and Beatles mania swept the world.

The Beatles dominated 1960s culture with John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, and their popularity is still strong even today.

Such is the popularity of the Fab Four, a multi-part biopic by Sam Mendes following the stories of all four members, which will hit theatres in 2028, has already caused a worldwide buzz before filming has even begun.

Paul Mescal, who will play Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr portrayer Barry Keoghan were spotted around the city last month as they began to get a feel for their characters’ hometown. But if Paul, Barry – and their co-stars Joseph Quinn (George Harrison) and Harris Dickinson (John Lennon) – really know how to prepare for their roles, they’ll be giving every celebrity’s favourite tour guide a call.

The Beatles had already split up when Dale Roberts was born, but that hasn’t stopped the 35-year-old from Liverpool from becoming one of the band’s biggest fans and launching an impressive career.

It’s safe to say Dale is the man to know if you want to learn more about The Beatles, from co-owner of George Harrison’s childhood home, which is now an immersive heritage Airbnb Dale runs his own business, Dale Liverpool Tours Ltd, which offers bespoke and VIP tours to clients like Liverpool FC, Comic-Con, and international travel companies.

Over the years, Dale has delivered tours to Hollywood actors, Grammy-winning musicians like Elvis Costello, WWE stars such as Mick Foley, politicians, influencers, and elite sports personalities.

“I’ve delivered tours for many famous people, and one of the craziest things is that they recommend me to others,” Dale tells us. “Ben Davis (Ant-Man, Red Dead Redemption) called me asking to do a tour for his friend — a top improv comedian who has worked with Steve Carell.

Charisma Carpenter, the author of The Buffy: The Vampire Slayer and Angel Legend, has participated in numerous tours and was absolutely lovely. I had Steve Holley, a drummer for the Wings, talk to me about his time with Paul McCartney last year; Elvis Costello also did the same!

When Liverpool FC won the 2024 League Cup, about five of the players on the pitch had taken a tour with me a few months prior.

Dale, who was born and raised in Walton, has become one of Liverpool’s most well-known figures in the booming tourism sector by pursuing a career in The Beatles.

He was hired as Head of Marketing at Liverpool’s open-top bus company, Liverpool City Sights, in 2016. The business was struggling to make it to the bottom of TripAdvisor’s regional rankings. A hop-on hop-off tour with a Beatles theme shook up the city’s tour scene, and Dale helped design it.

He claims that Dale accidentally started leading in 2017 when the team was understaffed and found his calling right away. He was later recognized for his contributions to the tour, including being recognized by TripAdvisor as one of the Best in the World in 2022.

He was hired by Cavern City Tours as the marketing manager for Liverpool’s renowned Cavern Club a year after designing the tour. Additionally, he began guiding them on their renowned Magical Mystery Tour. In a first for the venue, Dale became the only guide to lead scheduled tours inside the Cavern in its history when he was invited to give scheduled “Behind the Scenes” tours in 2019.

During that time, Dale received hundreds of glowing reviews and TripAdvisor listed the Cavern Club ahead of Buckingham Palace among the world’s greatest landmarks. By late 2021, Dale had become manager of the Magical Mystery Tour — Liverpool’s longest-running Beatles bus tour. He would go on to set records for customer feedback, and in 2024, TripAdvisor ranked the tour the 8th best in the world.

“I think Liverpool should be the best tour in the world,” Dale says. Our music “changed the world because it has such a wonderful history.” You couldn’t see everything that changed the world in any other major city because it’s so easily accessible.

The city’s abundance of tours and experts is useful for the cast of the upcoming Beatles films. John, Paul, George, and Ringo have a lot of acting experience, but they are not from Liverpool. Does Dale have any advice for the cast who wants to impress the Merseysidens?

“If I could give the young actors acting one piece of advice, it would be to spend time in Liverpool, visiting the landmarks and walking the streets as the Beatles did. You have to feel this city’s attitude and sense of humor.

Liverpool made the Beatles, not The Beatles, according to the saying. We can be excited if the actors take the time to realize that they will be channeling something real on screen.

And if Paul, Barry, Harrison, and Joseph have any sense, they’ll be calling Dale to make sure they’re up to speed before the cameras start rolling, following in their celebrity contemporaries.

Tess and Claudia announced this morning that Strictly would be leaving, which means that the season’s finale will take place on December 20.

Tess, 56, is in charge for 21 years. Bruce Forsyth, who passed away in 2017 at the age of 89, was her former co-host. Claudia, 53, who co-hosted Tess’ show for the past 11 years, stepped in in 2014.

The famous duo made a public statement about their decision by appearing together in a video that they posted on their social media accounts. They claimed they wanted to “pass the baton” on to new presenters.

Claudia began the video by saying, “Hi, it’s Claud and Tess. We want to hear from you about some rumors that have occurred. “.

Tess cut in: “Yeah we have news. After 21 wonderfully joyful years on Strictly, we have decided the time is right to step aside and pass on the baton…” “The very sparkly baton…” Claudia continued, before she turned to Tess and said: “You’ve been here since the beginning…”

Tess then responded, “2004 with Brucey, lovely Bruce.” That was over 20 years ago, and you have retained much of it. Hasn’t it been a significant part of our lives? Since our children were sexy babies in the beginning, we have cherished every second, in my opinion.

We have, we’re so fortunate to have been a part of this amazing show, Claudia continued, “We just want to thank the Strictly team because Strictly is the person who makes it so thank you.”

Tess concurred, saying, “They are the most amazing television team we’ve been so fortunate. They’ve also had a great time with the audience. They have been with us for the past 21 years, and they have provided us with such a show.

They captioned the video, “We have loved working as a duo, and hosting Strictly has been a dream. We had planned to leave together before, but now it seems appropriate.

Kim Kardashian risks Kanye outburst as North, 12, shows off fake tattoos and piercings

North West, Kim Kardashian’s daughter, and Kanye West’s daughter, have unveiled a shocking new look complete with grillz, fake nose tattoos, and grillz.

North West, Kim Kardashian’s daughter, has a startling new appearance that includes grillz, fake noses, and fake face tattoos.

Over the weekend, the 12-year-old praised her striking ensemble in a number of videos posted on TikTok. Along with black grillz over her teeth and a fake nose ring, she sported long, blue braids and fake blue contact lenses.

The large, fake tattoos on her face, which included a star beneath her eye and a script on her cheek, were the most eye-catching. One video, posted to her and her mother’s shared account, was captioned “Fake piercings and fake tatts for life.”

Her friends, who were similarly decorated with braids, face tattoos, and piercings, were also seen lip-syncing to a well-known sound bite in the video. North wore chunky trainers, baggy shorts, an oversize tee, and several flashy silver necklaces.

In additional videos, she and her pals were seen traveling by private jet and later attending an impromptu concert. The tween’s social media posts have sparked content-related content debates online.

Some claim that it’s just a child dressing up for Halloween, while others refute North’s father Kanye West’s previous objections to his kids being able to post on social media.

The artist formally known as Ye claimed that his eldest child, Kim, was using social media against his will in 2022. Under a screenshot of a then eight-year-old North’s first TikTok post, Kanye wrote, “Since this is my first divorce, I need to know what to do about my daughter being put on TikTok against my will.”

Kim responded, “Kanye’s constant attacks on me on social media and in interviews are actually more haughty than any TikTok North might produce.”

As the parent who provides our children’s primary care and care, I make every effort to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity wherever she pleases under the guidance of adults.

“Divorce is difficult enough for our children, and Kanye’s obsession with attempting to control and manipulate our situation so harshly and publicly only adds to our pain,” said Kanye.

It saddens me that Kanye keeps making it impossible every step of the way because I have always wanted a healthy and supportive co-parenting relationship.

The mother-of-four concluded her post by saying, “I want to handle all matters involving our children privately, and I hope he can finally approach the third attorney he has retained to resolve any issues amicably.”

Claudia Winkleman says ‘no offence’ as she makes brutally honest Strictly confession

Although Claudia Winkleman has been a member of the Strictly Come Dancing family for 21 years, she announced today that she will be leaving the show.

Strictly Come Dancing’s Claudia Winkleman previously offered a brutally honest reflection on her journey with the beloved BBC programme, ahead of announcing her departure from the show earlier today.

The presenter first appeared on Strictly’s spin-off series It Takes Two in 2004, before co-presenting the Sunday results program with Tess Daly.

Following Sir Bruce Forsyth’s decision to leave the series, she then moved up to Tess on Saturday nights from 2014 onward.

She spoke candidly about her Strictly experience, especially given that the series is “completely run by women,” during an interview with Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett last year on the Dish podcast.

The actress acknowledged that “we are a proper gang and it is a show, no offence, completely run by women, and this is going to make everyone feel nauseous, but it is true life.”

She continued, “We’ve all been through all kinds of things together, whether it’s getting pregnant, meeting someone, or breaking up with someone,” adding, “We’ve all been through all kinds of things together.” The director is a BAFTA award-winning woman, the executive producer is a woman, the commissioning editor is a woman, and there are men there, and they are obviously excellent, but it’s.” Although it’s a television show, Strictly feels like family to me.

Claudia has worked on programs like BBC’s The Great British Sewing Bee and Channel 4’s The Piano, making her a household name on British television.

Her most recent venture has seen her fronting the hugely successful BBC game show The Traitors, with the first series of the celebrity version launching in recent weeks.

However, after a remarkable 15-year partnership, Claudia and Tess announced their exit from the program today, leaving Strictly viewers stunned.

In a shared Instagram video breaking the news, Tess and Claudia wrote: “We have loved working as a duo and hosting Strictly has been an absolute dream. We were always going to leave together and now feels like the right time.

We just want to say a huge thank you to the BBC and to everyone who volunteers for the show, saying “we will have the greatest rest of this amazing series.”

They continued, “We’ll miss them every day because they’re the most brilliant team.” When we say the final “keep dancing,” we will cry, but we’ll keep saying it to one another. Just possibly while eating some pizza while wearing tracksuit bottoms at home.
