Kerry Katona reveals awkward moment with Vogue Williams when she was with Brian McFadden

As she recalls one uncomfortable moment while he was married to jungle star Vogue Williams, Kristen Katona recalls her memories of her ex-husband Brian McFadden.

Kerry Katona broke her silence as ex-husband, Brian McFadden’s former wife Vogue Williams made her I’m A Celeb debut last week. The former Atomic Kitten star, who opened up about her dealings with the Irish TV star as Vogue joined the I’m A Celeb camp as a latecomer along with Celebs Go Dating receptionist Tom Read Wilson, slammed the mum-of-three in her latest column.

She recalled an awkward fleeting moment between the two women as Westlife star Brian would arrive at Kerry’s home to pick up the kids they share together – Molly, now 23, and Lily, 22. She said: “I remember her waving at me from the car when Brian picked up the kids, she never made any particular effort to come and say hi to me – which I think is important as a stepmum.”

Opening up further on their relationship when Westlife singer Brian was with Vogue – who is now married to former Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, with whom she shares three children, she went on to say simply, “I never ‘officially’ met Vogue. But good luck to her.”

From September 2, 2012 until their divorce was finalized in 2017, Vogue and Brian, who wed fiancee Danielle Parker, had no children.

Kerry continued to express her disappointment with Vogue despite her strong opinions of Molly and Lily as her stepmum, and praised fellow newcomer Tom, 39, for his outward-disapproval of what the show might have to say about her ex-husband.

She talks about Brian around the campfire, but I’m not bothered because we were together twenty years ago, which is old news. Tom Read Wilson is the sweetest, kindest person I’ve ever known, and I love him.

Kerry also admitted that she believes the former model could “do well” in the face of the unknown given the challenges that confront her. She claimed she “did not know her personally.”

Kerry has previously criticized Vogue, but this is not the first time. Vogue’s comments about Brian, 45, who has a 4-year-old daughter Ruby and his wife Danielle sparked the first episode.

In 2020, Kerry defended her Irish ex in her OK! column, after Vogue raised eyebrows by confessing that her marriage to Brian made her ‘sick in my mouth’.

A clearly irate Kerry wrote in her column at the time, “I have children with the man so I’d never slam him like that,” and her comment made me feel a little depressed for my daughters [Lilly and Sue]

She continued, “She shouldn’t diss him, but I get where Vogue’s coming from: none of us are ever proud of our exes.” No one would know who she is today without Vogue having met Brian.

Meanwhile, hit podcaster Vogue, 40, has been getting her teeth into jungle life. She made her bikini debut Down Under on Friday night’s episode, revealing a ripped-six pack as she donned a pale Beach Cafe bikini as she took a dip in the creek.

And fans were swift to praise her incredible figure. One wrote, ‘Vogue Williams six pack is genuinely inspiring’, ‘Vogue williams is #fit’. But others claimed she was ‘fishing for compliments’ after admitting to comedian Ruby Wax that she felt ‘so ugly’.

However, some fans were left unimpressed and accused the star, who previously confessed that she works out five days a week, of ‘fishing for compliments’ as she admitted to Ruby Wax that she felt ‘so ugly’.

Steve Irwin’s son shares heartbreaking final message dad left for him before death

Robert Irwin, the 21-year-old son of Steve Irwin, has revealed the heartbreaking contents of a video message his father left for him before he passed away on September 4, 2006.

Robert Irwin has revealed one of the last things his late father Steve Irwin said to him in a heartbreaking new admission.

The 21-year-old Aussie — who has reached the finals of the current season of US reality show Dancing with the Stars — recently appeared on a podcast and shared a heartwrenching story from before the time his father, the beloved Crocodile Hunter, passed away in 2006.

Robert was only two when his dad, Steve, passed away while filming in the Great Barrier Reef. The famed Australian conservationist died after being pierced in the chest by a short-tail stingray barb while shooting for an underwater documentary titled ‘Ocean’s Deadliest’ at Batt Reef, off the coast of Port Douglas in Australia.

Due to the icy conditions of September 4, 2006, there was a halt to the filming of “Ocean’s Deadliest,” and Steve, 44, made the decision to use that day to shoot Bindi the Jungle Girl, his daughter. Steve’s thoracic wall and heart were punctured by the stingray’s barb, which caused a significant trauma. Crew members reportedly immediately administered CPR and transported the wildlife expert to nearby Low Island, but the injury was fatal and he was tragically declared dead.

According to reports, Steve’s death is one of the few stingray fatalities ever to occur on video, and it is also thought to be one of the few. Robert made a heart-wrenching admission while appearing on the Viall Files podcast about the contents of a video message his father left for him just before his passing.

Robert was clearly moved to tears as the young conservationist said, “For me watching that, it’s like he gave me this gift — it’s there, it’s material, it’s in writing.” I’m observing him as he watches through the camera and says, “I’m not always going to be here.”

Steve’s son revealed that Steve’s father had stated that he was “creating something that you can continue and that’s what I want you to do” and that he was “building a legacy to leave to his kids, Bindi and Robert.” He stated, “My entire goal is to leave a legacy that my children can continue.” He claimed that he and his wife, Robert, shared an emotional relationship years prior.

As they continue to actively support and support wildlife conservation efforts, something that was Steve’s life’s purpose, Robert and Bindi Irwin are both carrying on their dear father’s cherished legacy. While his sister Bindi, 27, is the CEO of Australia Zoo while Robert is currently in his 34th season of Dancing with the Stars. The husband-and-wife duo Wildlife Warriors, which Steve and Terri Irwin founded in 2002, has a lot of work to do with wildlife conservation, and both of their children are active members of the Australian Zoo.

The finale of Dancing with the Stars will take place on Tuesday, November 25, and will see five couples battling it out on the dancefloor for the ultimate trophy. Robert and his DWTS partner, Witney Carson, recently received a surprise message of support from Prince William in a pre-recorded video during a special programme celebrating the show’s 20th anniversary.

Freddie Mercury ‘was nothing like his public persona’ say those who knew him best

Freddie Mercury, a singer who influenced the queen vocalist, passed away 34 years ago today, and those who knew him best recall that he was unlike the flamboyant performer who had won over millions at Live Aid.

Freddie Mercury, the star of Queen’s last album, unquestionably was the most extraordinary rocker of his time, who passed away on this day, 34 years ago. He was arguably the greatest rock frontman ever, according to many.

However, Roger Taylor, the drummer for Queen, claimed that the perception of the public was entirely different. He claimed that “nobody knew Freddie in real life,” and that he resembled the stage actor who had won over audiences at Live Aid in July 1985.

Reinhold Mack, who co-starred with Freddie in his 1985 solo album Mr. Bad Guy and worked on numerous Queen records in the 1980s, once stated, “One thing people never noticed was that he was unbelievably modest and shy.

Not everyone, however, left with such enthralling memories of the legendary rock star, who was born in 1946 on an island in Tanzania called Zanzibar.

The band’s first manager, Norman Sheffield, bitterly recalled his time with the band in 1975 when he wrote, “In Japan, they found 3, 000 fans waiting for them, all chanting the band’s name. It resembled Beatlemania.

Sheffield remarked, “Freddie had finally found the acclaim he’d desired all his life.” He experienced a godlike sensation. Unfortunately, he soon began acting like one as well.

When I turned him down, he slammed his fist on my desk, as Sheffield recalled how Freddie, who wrote some of the group’s most well-known songs on piano, insisted on getting a grand piano. He said, “I need to get a grand piano.”

Queen was soared up the charts at the time, but record label royalties can be obtained in a painfully long time.

According to Sheffield, that wasn’t in Freddie’s favor. We’re stars, Freddie said to him. I’ve been living in the same apartment for the past three years while our records are being sold for millions of dollars.

According to Sheffield, Freddie “stamps his feet and raises his voice after being informed that he would need to wait a few months for the cash to arrive.”

Then, about 14 years later, the Queen frontman said, “No, I am not prepared any longer,” which would later become the chorus to one of the band’s biggest hits. I aspire to everything. I’d like it right away.

One of the characteristics that sets the band apart from any of their contemporaries is that every member of the band individually wrote a Top 10 single, despite the fact that Freddie was responsible for most of their biggest hits.

Freddie made a strong effort to stop people from seeing Queen as just three musicians supporting the singer.

He emphasized that the band is four equal partners rather than Freddie Mercury and his three-membered escort, according to writer Tony Brainsby, who has covered the band since its formation. And he was successful.

We never consider Freddie Mercury and Others in any other way other than as a band, though Queen could easily have become that.

Mick Rock, a photographer who had a significant impact on shaping Queen’s early image, said: “I think the changes that occurred in Freddie just went with the image and the person that he became.

You see it frequently in the music industry: “You see other people writing about a character, and you see it in their writing.”

“I should assume that you actually get to the point where you no longer like that character.” Then you can reopen the book.

However, Freddie’s character had at least three sides at that time. He had a past, a core, Freddie, and Mercury. And Freddie was the one I adored and loved. I haven’t met anyone who was as entertaining as I do.

Corrie’s Daniel Brocklebank: ‘I won’t chew on a kangaroo’s b******s in the jungle!’

Billy Mayhew, the vicar who led his Weatherfield flock for 11 years, will be heartbroken for millions of Coronation Street viewers, but actor Daniel Brocklebank explains why he’s not upset.

Coronation Street’s vicar Billy Mayhew may be leaving the cobbles but the actor who plays him, Daniel Brocklebank, says he hasn’t shed a tear about leaving.

But only because he’s been far too busy. Forty minutes after receiving uproarious applause from 150 members of the cast and crew, he sped down the cobbles to a Manchester theatre to join rehearsals for his next role in the cult comedy classic Young Frankenstein.

“I don’t think I’ve ever finished one job and started another one on the same day,” he laughs. “I walked out of the Coronation Street studio at ten to one on Tuesday last week and I was at the theatre and in rehearsals for Young Frankenstein by half past one. My feet literally didn’t touch the ground.

“I’ll spend five weeks with Young Frankenstein, and after that, I might be able to get over things.” It’s difficult to explain after 11 years in one place how much has changed. Billy will be missed.

It’s like having two lives when you play someone for that long. But I’ll miss the cast and crew’s camaraderie the most, though.

Daniel claims he had been considering the show’s departure for a year after it was announced over the summer. He recalls that I had spoken to my other half and said, “maybe it’s time.” “I enjoy being challenged, and I was very quiet there for the entire year. I was wondering what exactly was left to Billy after the Motor Neurone Disease storyline, which is probably what I’m most proud of.

He could enter a new relationship, marry his daughter Summer, and be a grandfather. However, the impact of his husband Paul’s MND storyline prevented me from figuring out what might have happened to him if it hadn’t already been done.

“He’d been a drug addict, he’d adopted a child, got married, had the first ever same sex wedding on the show and lost his husband. It’s not like he hadn’t packed it in – it’s been quite a colourful 11 years. I was in a show at the Palladium earlier this year and it just reminded me that there was a whole world happening outside of that Weatherfield bubble.”

The producer of Coronation Street then called Daniel in June and informed him that Billy had been written out. He recalls: “They claimed it was entirely storyline-based, as is so frequently the case. I was philosophical about it because it felt so good. At the end of the day, there is no other character more important than the show.

We only have a year’s contract, and I don’t believe anyone in their right mind would want to live there permanently because you could be in the market for a fall. As the show’s structure changes, new producers are eager to insulate old characters and exit characters who they believe have had enough.

“When it was announced in the press, I received a lot of messages from producers and directors I’ve worked with in the past saying, “This is great news, when are you free?” I’m going to think of you because of this, I promise. That was nice, and those people didn’t forget me.

One such call came from the producers of Young Frankenstein the Musical, offering Daniel the lead role of Dr Frederick Frankenstein, who inherits his grandfather’s Transylvanian castle. A musical comedy horror, based on the 1974 film written by Mel Brooks and Gene Wilder, Daniel stars in the show for a limited five-week run at the Liverpool Playhouse over the Christmas season.

He exclaims, “It’s fun and eccentric.” “My character incinerates a 7-foot-green monster with a brain!” The writing is a little sloppy; I enjoy the old-fashioned humor and the tap dancing. After leaving Coronation Street, I wanted to do something a little left-field. I’m usually interested in watching a kangaroo eat some b*****ks in the jungle, so I’m going to do a panto and maybe a little reality TV, but I’m not particularly interested in that!

Young Frankenstein does both of my goals, which is to terrify and stretch me. It’s been fascinating to meet some lovely new faces, and part of the appeal is that I’m playing a completely different character in Frankenstein. Even though I’m not like Billy, the thing about playing one character for so long is that you become a synonym for that person.

Daniel claims he was pleased with the scripts, but it’s a closely guarded secret how and when Billy leaves Weatherfield. I’m really pleased with Billy’s departure because it’s appropriate for a character who has been at the center of the show for a lot of his time, and it’s funny that he smiles.

“On the street, where 150 people gathered to wave me off and give me a hug, was the last scene I shot.” Thank goodness for my daughter Summer, Harriet Bibby, who plays her, was very emotional. You’re saying goodbye to a time in your life in an emotional way. I avoided tears myself, primarily because I didn’t want the Young Frankenstein cast to see me as a blubbering wreck.

Away from work, Daniel has a camper van and loves hiking, walking his three sausage dogs, Colin, Jean and Doris, and working on his allotment near the Manchester home he shares with his partner of two years, singer Jordan Coulthard. He began acting at 14, playing the lead role in the Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of Lord of the Flies. At just 19 he starred in the Oscar-winning film Shakespeare in Love.

He has collaborated with other household names, including Dustin Hoffman, Kirsten Dunst, and Sam Neill, in addition to the screen success that he has had in The Hours. He joined Coronation Street at the age of 34 in 2014, and despite his distinguished career, he has no worries about what the future might hold.

He goes on to say, “I think I would have been terrified about how I would exist outside of the show if Corrie had been everything I’d ever known.” I know that I can come out and live beyond it because I lived for 22 years before I started it. After Young Frankenstein, there is already a ton of work in progress, including a Jersey short film and a horror movie, which is fantastic considering I only finished Corrie last week.

Only two people have lived there their entire lives in the 65 years of Coronation Street, and that’s Barbara Knox and Bill Roache, and hundreds, perhaps thousands of actors have passed through the cast during that time. It was perfectly put by David Neilson (Roy Cropper). You must remember that this is the beginning, he said, despite how sad it is that you are leaving us. And he was correct.

The next chapter of my life will begin with this statement. I’m only 45. Corrie is a wonderful challenge, and I look forward to returning to it because I’ve loved every second of it and will cherish it forever. I firmly believe that everything happens in the right way. I believe that the universe has the right timing for what you need, and I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.

Udo Kier dead: Horror movie star and Call of Duty voice actor dies at 81

Uncertainty ruled over Udo Kier’s film career. Flesh for Frankenstein and Blood for Dracula were a result of a chance meeting with director Paul Morrissey on a plane.

Udo Kier, the prolific German actor whose career bridged underground art films and Hollywood blockbusters, has died at the age of 81, according to Variety.

One of the most distinctive filmographies in contemporary cinema was created by Kier, who is renowned for his haunting appearance, distinctive voice, and ability to effortlessly transition between genres.

In 1944, a bombing raid in Cologne gave birth to Kier. He recalled how his mother protected him in the rubble in a terrifying account shared during a phone interview years ago.

Kier’s path to the camera was erratic. Flesh for Frankenstein (1973) and Blood for Dracula (1974), both produced by Andy Warhol, were a result of a chance meeting with director Paul Morrissey on a plane. These extravagant and bizarre performances became defining moments in his early career.

Jessie J hits back at trolls who claim she lied about having cancer in furious post

Jessie J, the singer, has reacted to trolls who have claimed she lied about having cancer after being forced to cancel performances on her tour so she could have surgery.

Jessie J has robustly responded to online trolls who falsely claimed she never had cancer.

After being diagnosed with “early” breast cancer, the 37-year-old Price Tag singer, who goes by Jessica Ellen Cornish, had a procedure to remove one of her breasts in June.

After months of recovery, she recently had to cancel tour shows as she announced she would need a ‘second surgery’. However, the star has been forced to confront online accusations that she’s ‘lying’ about her diagnosis.

Addressing the comments in an Instagram story post today, Jessie hit back.

Jessie added: “Also if you have or do comment on the internet that I lied/lie about having cancer. I’ve been a victim of theft. Please address it to my face in the street. One boob down, I suppose. But I’m still able to scrape.

Jessie assured fans that the procedure was “nothing over the top” but “must be completed by the end of the year” when she first revealed the need for a second operation. She later clarified that it was “more complex” than initially believed and that it had been postponed.

She stated in an Instagram video that “some of you may know, some of you may not know that I was scheduled to have a second breast surgery two weeks ago.” So I met with my surgeon a week before my surgery because I explained how my surgery felt, and he recommended me to a different surgeon. We then had a meeting, and they both agreed that this might take some time.

I was obviously upset because I had already canceled my tour, but again it was my fault and two different surgeons had opposing viewpoints.

In a heartfelt address at the Music Industry Trust Awards, Jessie opened up about how the diagnosis has affected her life and how it has affected her. “All of us here are going through things in life that we have to carry to work and leave at home or take to work,” Jessie said.

“This year has changed my whole world. My perspective, what battles I’m going to pick, when death comes knocking at your door, and you kind of have to answer and f****** kick it away, it just changes everything.”
