Kerry Katona ‘shows off new boobs in all their glory after shock rupture

Kerry Katona has revealed she has had to go under the knife once again, and is now on strict orders from the doctor to rest, after she faced disaster following her fourth boob job

Kerry Katona has revealed she’s now under strict doctor’s orders to rest up after undergoing surgery on her breasts again – just a few months after her fourth boob job.

The star, 45, had her fourth boob job in August, which saw her have an uplift and new implants put in. However, just a few months after going under the knife Kerry revealed in October she was told she needed another operation.

Kerry ruptured scar tissue on her breasts and required corrective surgery, which she has now had and is currently resting up at home, following the end of her UK tour with pal Katie Price, which wrapped up last week following a successful run.

Writing in her exclusive column for new! magazine, Kerry revealed: “I haven’t been up to much this week in terms of work because I’ve been under doctor’s orders to rest after having surgery on my breasts. I had ruptured the tissue after having breast implants because I didn’t rest enough after having the implants put in in the first place.”

Meanwhile, Kerry gushed over her supportive beau Paolo, who she met on Celebs Go Dating earlier this year. She said: “Paolo has been so supportive and amazing the entire journey through with my surgery and recovery. He was there when I went down for surgery and when I woke up. I really do love that man!”

It comes after Kerry opened up in October about her plans to go under the knife once more. Writing in her column at the time, the star said: “At the time of writing this, I’ve finally got a weekend off from the tour – which is a rare occasion. It will be nice to have a few days in my own bed, but it’s not going to be a relaxed weekend, unfortunately.

“I’ve got to go for a pre-op appointment, which is a little nervewracking. After having my boobs done earlier this year, I didn’t rest enough and was told that my scar tissue has ruptured.

“So, I’ve basically got to get the surgery again to fix that, which is a pain, but it is my own fault! The surgery is next month, when the tour is finished, so i can properly rest this time. I’m looking forward to being all recovered. My chest looks a little cross-eyed at the moment!”

Kerry went under the knife in August this year, having her fourth boob job as she began to miss her bigger chest after slimming down to a size six.

She confessed in March: “I just want my own boobs back. I don’t want massive boobs or anything really fake, just my boobs again!” The TV and music star shed weight after her split from Ryan Mahoney in November last year.

The star has since found love with Paolo Margaglione, who she met on Celebs Go Dating earlier this year. The couple are now blending their families and looking forward to their first Christmas together.

She revealed: “This year it’s my first Christmas with Paolo and his daughters and all of my children are all going to be there so it’s a real special one this year. For me, it’s all about spending time together – that for me is where the magic is – it’s creating the memories and just being with the people who you love, that is the present in itself.

“I can’t wait! I’m having the house decorated by a wonderful company, who do it for me every year, they’re called Decorators For Christmas. I’ve had so many themes over the years, including Grinch, but this year I’m going for a Home Alone style, I want it to be all warm and homely for Christmas with everyone coming over.”

Adam Peaty’s past dig at family comes to light as wedding feud deepens

Adam Peaty has become embroiled in a bitter feud with his family members over uninviting his mum to his upcoming wedding, but even before that it seems tensions were building

Adam Peaty’s ongoing family feud has shocked fans in recent weeks, but tensions may have been simmering long before the row became public.

In a 2023 interview with The Times, the Olympic swimmer hinted at a disconnect between him and the rest of his family, admitting they struggled to understand the intense pressure that comes with being heavily involved in the world of sports.

Adam said that professional swimming left him in an “incredibly difficult and lonely place,” and suggested that relationships of all kinds were challenging under the weight of his athletic career.

He added: “Spending time with people is a distraction, because it takes away from what you’re trying to do, takes away from your energy that you’re trying to have for the next session.

“My family still don’t understand that. They don’t have to do what I have to do. I tell them, ‘It’s OK, you don’t understand.’ People get offended by that but I don’t understand their jobs either, so I don’t get into it. Unless you’ve been in my shoes, you don’t know what it takes.”

Those comments have taken on new meaning in light of the rift that has unfolded ahead of his upcoming wedding to his fiancée, Holly Ramsay.

The dispute has now escalated rapidly over the past week in the lead up to the Olympian’s nuptials. Adam’s mother, Caroline, was not welcomed to Holly’s star-studded hen party, which is a slight that raised eyebrows even before she was allegedly uninvited from the wedding itself.

Caroline had also reportedly purchased a dress for the wedding, only to be told by Adam and Holly that it wasn’t suitable and they would buy her a different one, in a moment a family source described as humiliating and upsetting.

The drama intensified when Adam’s older brother James, 34, was arrested after allegedly sending threatening messages to the swimmer during his stag weekend in Budapest. Holly alerted authorities, and James was taken into custody, but later bailed out.

Adam’s father Mark has since spoken out publicly, insisting the situation has “got out of hand” and pointing out that James has mental health issues, which he feels have been overlooked during the feud.

Just months ago, Caroline was posting birthday wishes for Holly on social media, and talking about how excited she was for their future as a family.

Now that a rift has opened up between her and her son’s new family, she has been sharing emotional quotes to Instagram, including one which read: “Crying is a way your eyes speak when your mouth can’t explain how broken your heart is.”

Her sister Louise has backed her up, accusing Adam of calling his mother a “c**p mother” despite the years she spent supporting his swimming career.

Louise has also criticised Adam for allegedly barring Caroline from seeing her grandson, George, saying that he is “sticking the knife in and twisting it”.

Other family members have also spoken out, saying they will be unable to attend the wedding due to the cost of luxury accommodation near Bath Abbey.

Adam and Holly have yet to speak out on the accusations, despite The Mirror contacting their representatives for comment on the story.

Inside Pierce Brosnan’s relationship with son as pair reunite 20 years after feud

Pierce Brosnan and his son Chris reportedly fell out two decades ago but since then Chris’ sister, Charlotte, died of ovarian cancer, just like their mother Cassandra Harris did

Pierce Brosnan and his son are “pretty close now” — after 20 years of on-off contact.

The Hollywood actor reportedly “cut off” Chris, 53, for refusing to kick his drug addiction in around 2005. However, our exclusive pictures show the James Bond star, 72, and his filmmaker son leaving a trendy bistro in London’s Notting Hill together last week after a family meal.

This sparked chatter among those close to the family, who say the father and son have indeed buried the alleged hatchet. One of Pierce’s friends said: “They seem pretty close now. Chris has been working hard on his sobriety and has reconnected with his dad. Everyone is pleased for him.”

It is thought Pierce has spent a great deal of time with Chris recently as the veteran actor is in London working on a new series of crime drama MobLand, which centres on a family based in the capital. Chris is understood to live in London.

Pierce and Chris have been through two heartbreaking tragedies over the decades. Chris’ mum — Pierce’s first wife Cassandra Harris — died in 1991 of ovarian cancer at the age of 43. She left behind three children, including Chris who was just 19 at the time.

His sister Charlotte died of the same cancer in 2013, aged 41, and Chris was left to face the same awful grief again. Yet by then, Pierce had long “cut off” ties with the filmmaker following the latter’s drug addiction. Pierce, who had adopted both Chris and Charlotte after their biological father died in 1986, reportedly told Chris: “Get busy living, or get busy dying”.

But Chris has had rehab, it is thought. During this time, Pierce was repeatedly asked by reporters about his relationship with the man. In one interview, the entertainer, who starred as 007 in four Bond films, including GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies and Die Another Day, said: “Christopher is still very lost. Shockingly so. I know where he is, but he’s having a hard life. I can only have strong faith and believe he will recover. He has tested everybody in this family, but none more so than himself. He knows how to get out. He doesn’t want to. It’s painful because you shut down.”

Queen Camilla’s awkward encounter with Gavin and Stacey star Ruth Jones

Queen Camilla appeared to fail to recognise Ruth Jones immediately during their encounter at the historic Cyfarthfa Castle near Merthyr Tydfil, south Wales, on Friday

Queen Camilla experienced an awkward moment with Ruth Jones today during a visit to South Wales for King Charles’s birthday.

The Queen accompanied the King, who turned 77 on Friday, to an afternoon of celebrations at the historic Cyfarthfa Castle near Merthyr Tydfil, south Wales. There, the royal couple were welcomed by a host of well-known Welsh figures, including reality TV personality Liam Reardon, fashion designer Julien Macdonald, and Gavin and Stacey writer and star Ruth Jones.

Despite being adored by millions as the straight-talking Nessa Jenkins on screen, it seemed Camilla didn’t immediately recognise Ruth Jones, 59, when they met. After quickly realising who she was, the Queen — who had met the actress before — exclaimed: “Haven’t you lost masses of weight?” as Ms Jones clasped her hand and introduced herself in the reception line.

Laughing, Ms Jones looked both surprised and pleased, replying: “Yes, I have, thank you! I’ve lost a bit of weight.” The star has been open about her lifelong struggle with her weight and has recently showcased her transformation after losing 4.5 stone over 22 months. The writer and actress has even spoken about seeking help from a hypnotist to curb her biggest weakness — chocolate.

Ms Jones told the Table Manners podcast last year she initially approached hypnotherapy with scepticism.

“You think of something you hate eating, then think of the chocolate — and keep alternating. I remembered how mushy peas were on the school dinner menu. It completely worked. I didn’t eat chocolate for five years; I couldn’t even stand the smell of it,” the actress, who was born in Bridgend, south Wales, said.

She went on to admit that she eventually believed she was “sorted” and unsubscribed from the hypnotist’s email list — after which her aversion to chocolate gradually faded.

Ms Jones has also spoken previously about losing 4.5 stone in 2011, a process that took her 22 months after overindulging on a holiday. Reflecting on that turning point, she said: “I came back from holiday in January 2010 — and we all overdo it on holiday, don’t we? Something just clicked. I felt it was now or never; I wanted to make a positive change for me, and I haven’t looked back.”

Abba star Frida Lyngsta turns 80 as we tell her rags-to-riches story

Abba star Frida made her stage debut aged 11 but no one could have guess from there the global stardom that was to come

“I am turning 80 this year,” declared Anni-Frid Lyngstad with a real sense of pride to the crowds attending the latest performance of ABBA Voyage earlier this year.

She made a surprise appearance to support the hugely-successful avatar concert in London and also to show fans how much she appreciates their never-ending love over the past 50 plus years.

It’s hard to believe it but the singer from the chart-topping Swedish band who gave us Mamma Mia, SOS and Take A Chance On Me celebrates her eighth decade today as she turns 80.

Anni-Frid, or Frida as she is best known to millions, has certainly had a public and private life full of ‘times of joy and times of sorrow’ – just like the lyric to their song The Way Old Friends Do.

In fact, her rags-to-riches story (she’s said to have netted a £220 million fortune to date) is so incredible that fellow band member Bjorn Ulvaeus once quipped it could be a play or a musical.

He said: “Out of all four of us, Frida has had the most dramatic life. Her life is the classic rags to riches story. I can just picture the scenes and the cliff hangers.”

Today we celebrate Anni-Frid through the decades and say: “Without a song or a dance what are we? Thank you for the music for giving it to me.”

1945

Anni-Frid Synni Lyngstad is born in Bjørkåsen, Norway. Her young mum Synni fell pregnant after a relationship with a German SS officer called Alfred Haase who had been stationed there during the Nazi occupation. He returned to Germany and Synni wrongly believed he died on the way home when his ship sank. She found herself ostracised in the local community when people discovered who the father of her ”war baby” was. The pair moved to Torshälla, near Eskilstuna in Sweden with Synni’s mother Arntine. Shortly before Frida turned two years old, her mum died of kidney failure aged just 21. Left ‘an orphan’, her gran steps in to raise Frida working as a cleaner, a seamstress and a dishwasher to bring in the money.

1956

Her interest in music is already starting to shine through as she makes her stage debut aged 11 at a charity event. At school in Torshälla. fellow classmates have since revealed how she was ‘a bright student’ often gaining higher grades than other children of her age. Later when asked how she felt growing up without a mother or father, she admits: “When you are a teenager you see all the other kids with their parents and, of course, sometimes it felt like a bit unfair that I could not have it too but we get the lives we are supposed to have and we live only the life we get.”

1964

She and childhood sweetheart Ragnar Fredriksson – also a bassist in the jazz band she performs with – get married. The pair have two children (Hans in 1964 and Ann Lise-Lotte in 1967). Then Frida makes a decision which will change her life forever. She enters a Swedish TV talent contest Nya Ansikten (New Faces) in 1967 and wins it with the ballad En Ledig Dag (A Free Day). The first prize is the chance to perform on another show called Hylands Hörna. She lands a record deal with EMI afterwards and later releases a solo album in Swedish simply called Frida. In 1969 she meets musician Benny Andersson from a band called The Hep Stars and the pair strike up a friendship.

1974

With Benny and fellow Swedish artists and married couple Agnetha Faltskog (a successful solo singer) and Bjorn Ulvaeus (a member of the skiffle band The Hootenanny Singers), they form ABBA and enter Eurovision in Brighton with Waterloo and win. She recalls about their victory: “It was just unbelievable! There I was, a former band vocalist from Eskilstuna, and the BBC and all the major newspapers in Europe were mobbing us, demanding interviews about how we felt.” By now Frida has divorced Ragnar and is engaged to Benny. Global success awaits them with the help of their manager Stikkan Anderson and they score hits with Frida taking lead vocals with her mezzo-soprano voice on many of the songs including Fernando, Knowing Me Knowing You, I Have A Dream, Money Money Money and Super Trouper. One of their biggest is Dancing Queen which is one of her favourites: “I cried the first time I heard it. It’s a masterpiece.” The band releases numerous number one albums and tours Europe, Australia and North America. She and Benny finally wed in 1978. And at the height of ABBA’s fame, Frida is contacted by her father who is still alive and the pair have an emotional reunion. But she admits: “It would have been different if I’d been a child. But it’s difficult to get a father when you’re 32 years old. I can’t really connect to him and love him the way I would have if he’d been around when I grew up.”

1982

Frida embarks on a solo music career after ABBA take a break. Relations within the band had changed – both couples had divorced and their music had become a lot darker. Frida recalls about her split from Benny: “There were a lot of tears and a lot of discussions. But there was no way back. Breaking up became a necessity.” She also has to fight off reports that she and Agnetha did not get along maintaining: “We may not hang out much, but we have a very deep connection. There is really no rivalry between us. The connection has deepened during the years we worked together.” Free from ABBA and sporting a punky short hair-do, Frida launches her own album called Something’s Going On which is produced by Phil Collins in 1982 and this is followed by Shine which is produced by Steve Lillywhite in 1984. Word reaches Frida in 1989 that her father has passed away aged 89.

1992

Wedding bells sound as Frida marries Prince Heinrich Ruzzo Reuss of Plauen in 1992 and the couple live together in a castle in Switzerland. She also releases her first new music in more than a decade with a Swedish solo album called Djupa Andetag (Deep Breaths). However, double tragedy strikes for her. In 1998, her daughter Ann Lise Lotte dies in an horrific car accident in New York aged 30. And then just a year later her husband Ruzzo dies from cancer aged 49. In an interview some years later she speaks about how she struggled to deal with her grief: “I had to have something to believe in, otherwise it would have been very difficult to cope with. It took a very long time (to find joy again). It took very many years and incomprehensible grief. You feel that you can hardly survive. It was a difficult journey.”

2004

Having maintained a fairly low profile, Frida emerges with some public performances of a new song called The Sun Will Shine Again. It’s been written especially for her by her friend and Deep Purple member Jon Lord. Frida is very moved by the track’s message about hope after loss and she claims: “It gave me goosebumps.” And it seems the song proves a good omen. In 2007 Frida meets and begins dating WH Smith heir Henry Smith, 5th Viscount Hambleden. She calls him “My rock, my friend, my love in my autumn years”. The pair set up home in Switzerland.

2018

Having enjoyed some time back in the spotlight attending huge events such as the opening of the ABBAWorld exhibition in London, the launch of The ABBA Museum in Stockholm and the premiere of the movie sequel Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again in London, behind the scenes Frida meets Benny, Bjorn and Agnetha in secret to discuss an exciting new project. It’s a hi-tech concert show featuring digital versions of themselves on stage. In April 2018, ABBA announce they are reuniting for ‘an exciting ABBA avatar tour project’ which will feature two new songs I Still Have Faith In You and Don’t Shut Me Down. The internet goes into meltdown over the news.

2021

Frida and the other members face delays to their ‘ABBAtar’ venture due to the pandemic and lockdowns. But unbeknown to fans they have a huge surprise up their sleeve. They have been in the studio and recorded a new album called ABBA Voyage – their first in 40 years. It is released to huge critical acclaim in the autumn of 2021 and then ABBA Voyage The Show launches in London in May 2022 and is still going strong. Frida – now sometimes seen with a walking cane having had hip surgery – has visited the spectacle several times and says: “It’s hard to fully grasp that it isn’t me up there and yet it is me. I can certainly see myself in the digital figure, the gestures, the facial expressions, the eyes that express all sorts of feelings. It’s absurd but it’s real.” In May 2024, Frida and the other three members receive The Royal Order of Vasa (a Swedish knighthood) from The King for their contribution to music over the years.

2025

As Frida enjoys her forthcoming 80 th birthday with partner Henry and close friends, she admits she has had to be a strong woman and have faith to get through some of the things that have been thrown at her. She says: “I am a really strong woman. I have realised this. Then I have a really strong belief in God. Actually, it was that which helped me.” And although she cannot say whether this is the end of ABBA’s story (“Think of our ages, we are not young any longer but you never know.”), one thing is certain. The legacy of ABBA, the music and the memories are something that will stay with her forever as she explains: “ABBA will always be there. It has been a big part of my life. I can never leave it. A part of me has been educated through what I have gone through with ABBA, with the music, with the happy times..it has left a big print on me and my life.”

* Big hearted Frida has asked fans not to send gifts for her birthday but, if they wish, to give donations to charities including Läkare Utan Gränser/Médecins Sans Frontiers/Doctors Without Borders or UNICEF – organisations close to her heart.

Adam Peaty’s mum’s direct message to son amid family feud – ‘You can come home’

Adam Peaty’s mother has sent a direct message to her son amid a growing feud between the pair ahead of his wedding to Holly Ramsay

Adam Peaty’s mother has sent a direct message to her son amid a growing feud, telling him ‘you can come home’. The Olympic swimmer is set to marry Holly Ramsay in a stunning festive wedding.

However, it looks like Adam’s mother will not be in attendance at the December wedding after she was reportedly banned from the nuptials. Caroline also wasn’t in attendance at Holly’s hen-do recently.

Victoria Beckham was in attendance at the hen-do as well as Holly’s mum Tana and sisters Megan and Tilly. Adam’s sister Bethany was also at the event but Caroline was not there.

Now, Caroline has spoken out for the first time – in a direct message to Adam, where she told him she would always forgive him.

In a direct message to her son, she said: “I know it’s the end. But please, the message I want Adam to hear is no matter what happens in the future, please know I love you, your dad loves you, you can come home and talk to me at any point. There’s nothing you’ve done that I would not forgive. I love you so much.”

She added to the Mail: “I hope your marriage is a good one, I don’t wish any ill on you and I want you and Holly to have a long and happy marriage, like your dad and me. The reason I’m speaking out is I want all this to end.”

The Mirror has contacted Adam’s representatives for comment.

Caroline has not spoken out until now but her sister Louise Williams publicly criticised Holly in a post.

She wrote: “@hollyramsayy I’m so glad that you had a great hen do. As a bride, you deserve that. However, as a person you were divisive and hurtful towards a woman who I have loved and continue to love deeply. You have inflicted a hurt on my sister that will take a very long time to heal if ever.”

Caroline shared a post that featured a quote, which said: “Crying is a way your eyes speak when your mouth can’t explain how broken your heart is.”

In response to one commenter, she added:: “You know nothing about me or my family and your comment is not appreciated. As for your comment saying I don’t want my ‘son to grow up’ is a laugh, I’m happy when my children are happy as any mother is, there was no one happier than me, when my son told me he had met his soul mate x I hope that this clarifies the situation x”. Shortly after, she shut down all comments across her accounts.
