Bridesmaid walks down aisle with suited man and then people spot who he is

A bridesmaid was walking down the aisle with a man in a suit – and many people recognised the famous face immediately. So can you guess who it is? They were walking in One Direction…

Weddings are delightful celebrations that bring tremendous joy and excitement. The happy couple spend their special day gazing adoringly at one another, the beverages typically flow freely, emotions may run high during the heartfelt speeches, but once the dance floor beckons, everyone’s ready to let loose and celebrate after such an exhilarating day.

However, what would your reaction be if a genuinely famous person turned up at a wedding you were attending? When bridesmaids make their way down the aisle, they’re typically accompanied by one of the groomsmen – regardless of whether they’re romantically involved or not.

So when one lady served as a bridesmaid at her mate’s nuptials, she never anticipated being partnered with an incredibly attractive gentleman (and celebrity!).

Looking absolutely stunning, the woman was attired in a pale green satin gown, with her makeup and hair styled flawlessly.

However, it was her aisle buddy that set people talking once they recognised his identity.

The attractive gentleman appeared exceptionally smart and was sporting a double-breasted stone-hued suit with a matching tie.

It was actually Niall Horan, 32, from One Direction – and observers were astounded by what they witnessed.

X user @sammy1714 posted a photograph of the duo proceeding down the aisle together, writing: “Imagine being a bridesmaid at a wedding and the groomsman you’re paired up with is Niall Horan”.

Niall Horan grabbed the microphone later on in the evening, delivering a karaoke performance at his mates’ wedding celebration.

@b****zone61 shared on Instagram: “Later at the reception, he slipped back into familiar territory, taking the mic to deliver a surprise performance.

“Blending celebration with song, Niall turned the evening into something even more unforgettable, proving he can light up a stage just as easily as he can walk down one”.

Guests were stunned when Niall made his way down the aisle, with many having no clue he’d be there. One quipped: “This is the kind of stuff that happens in my dreams”.

Another penned: “The bride must be very in love with her partner because best believe that if Niall Horan was at my wedding, I’m inviting HIM to stand in the front with me”.

A Niall admirer jested: “Do you think Niall does weddings like – as the groom? Cause this is my formal invitation for him to lock in”.

Myleene Klass’ stalker who ‘terrorised’ star found guilty after sinister campaign

Peter Windsor, 61, has been found guilty of stalking Myleene Klass and her Classic FM colleague Katie Breathwick by posting items including an air gun and details of a will-writing kit.

Former Hear’Say star Ms Klass told Birmingham Crown Court of her “sheer terror” at discovering numerous items had been sent to the radio station’s central London studios, including fancy dress outfits and an air pistol.

Mrs Breathwick also gave evidence to the trial of 61-year-old Peter Windsor, saying the material linked to a will-writing kit he sent her in March 2021 left her feeling terrified.

Windsor, who suffers from mental health problems, denies stalking causing “serious alarm or distress” to both women between 2020 and 2024, having also posted binoculars, running shoes, bottles of Champagne, stamp collections and other items.

The court has been told the defendant was arrested but not prosecuted after sending a letter in October 2020 to then-Scottish first minister Nicola Sturgeon which he said had been “signed in blood” and which “pledged his soul to Satan”.

Giving evidence during his trial, Windsor said the letter was “just a joke” and that he had sent gifts to the radio presenters as a “pretend weird” acting performance.

Windsor denies two counts of stalking causing serious alarm or distress (PA)

Some of the items posted to Mrs Breathwick had been an attempt to put her mind at rest that he was not a “weirdo criminal” drug addict, Windsor said.

The Crown alleges that the content of letters and parcels sent by Windsor “was obsessional and demonstrated his obsessive interest” in his alleged victims, who were left “worried about things like just going to work”.

In his closing speech to the jury, defence barrister Philip Brunt said Windsor had been diagnosed for the past 30 years with paranoid schizophrenia and had no previous convictions.

Inviting jurors to consider whether Windsor’s behaviour amounted to stalking, Mr Brunt asked: “Is it harassment to be sending out what are deemed to be unwanted gifts? How is it stalking”?

Windsor, who has used multiple names including Peter Szymanski and changed his surname to its current form by deed poll, had not followed anyone and was not told to stop sending letters by anyone, Mr Brunt said.

The defence lawyer added: “Mr Windsor was in his room in his house apart from when he was going to the post office to post these things through the Royal Mail with his address all over it.

” He is just sending things through the post to people who have not told him to stop.

“He has provided the means by which they could do that every time – even to the point where there is a phone number on the documents, which was his phone number”.

Jilly Cooper funeral details in full – champagne, world-famous orchestra and ‘big party’

Dame Jilly Cooper, the beloved author known for novels such as Riders and Rivals, has died at the age of 88 – but she previously revealed details of how she’d like her funeral

Beloved author Dame Jilly Cooper, often referred to as the ‘queen of the bonkbusters’ for her scandalous novels such as Riders and Rivals, has unexpectedly died at the age of 88.

Jilly’s children, Felix and Emily, released a heartfelt statement to confirm their mother died following a fall on Sunday morning. They shared: “Mum, was the shining light in all of our lives.

“Her love for all of her family and friends knew no bounds. Her unexpected death has come as a complete shock. We are so proud of everything she achieved in her life and can’t begin to imagine life without her infectious smile and laughter all around us.”

Before her death, Jilly had openly spoken about death, noting that she thought about it “quite a lot” and wondered if “I’ll just arrive in Heaven and my dogs will run across the sunlit lawn to welcome me, and family members will be there.”

In accordance with Jilly’s wishes, her funeral will be private. However, she previously gave an insight into what she’d like her funeral to include, from champagne and chocolates to the Royal Opera House orchestra and a ‘big party’.

She previously revealed to the Daily Mail: “For my own funeral, I think I’d want to look quite tidy, wearing a bra and a trouser suit, because of my legs. And I’d like a photograph of Leo and the children in the coffin. And champagne, chocolates, and a copy of Pope John Paul II’s record. It is hysterical: pop music going in the background, and him saying, ‘Be still my children, do not be frightened.'”

She candidly added: “It would be a terrific suck-up present to either God or the Devil when I got there.”

When it comes to music on the day, Jilly knew exactly what she wanted, and it’s nothing short of showstopping. From Mahler’s Symphony of a Thousand, played by the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, to the Royal Opera House orchestra and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, as she noted, they’d make a “terrific din in the churchyard at Bisley”.

And that’s not all. Jilly also expressed wishes for the tunes of Lacrimosa from Verdi’s Requiem, the Good Friday music from Wagner’s Parsifal, and the Brideshead Revisited music.

She even thought about specific readings, mentioning a poem, for her “drinking mates”, called ‘So We’ll Go No More a-Roving’ and another by Christina Rossetti titled ‘When I am dead, my dearest’. In addition, she spoke of another poem by W.E. Henley, called ‘Margaritae Sorori’, that made her cry.

Jilly noted a particular emotional verse, which read:

“So be my passing! My task accomplish’d and the long day done,My wages taken, and in my heartSome late lark singing,Let me be gather’d to the quiet west,The sundown splendid and serene,Death.”

Delving further into details, Jilly outlined that she’d like “two priests to conduct the service”, one being a man from the village called Mr Farrow and a great friend called “Father Damian, of Prinknash Abbey”. She also spoke about being “buried near her dogs’ graveyard” with a “slate headstone by Roger Venables”, with the dates and an engraving of her “best dog, Barbara.”

She sweetly noted that her son Felix, “said he wouldn’t want to share me with millions of people and would rather have a small gathering”, but insisted that after the funeral, there would be a party in her Gloucestershire garden, “looking over the valley.” Jilly said that the “big party” could “spread over the lawn” and all her friends would be there.

Alan Carr’s brutal divorce as Celebrity Traitors star eyes up next love

Celebrity The Traitors star Alan Carr has had a rocky love life in recent years, with the comedian splitting from his ex-husband Paul Drayton in 2022 and then breaking up with his toyboy boyfriend Callum Heslop

Alan Carr’s romantic life has captured public attention throughout the years. The 49-year-old ranks among Britain’s most cherished comedians and television hosts, presenting everything from the BBC’s Interior Design Masters to Amanda, Alan’s Italian Job, Alan Carr Chattyman, and now appearing on Celebrity The Traitors, making him a recognisable presence on our screens.

Beyond his thriving career, Alan has experienced a turbulent personal life recently, with his three-year marriage collapsing in 2022. Alan had been with his former husband, Paul Drayton, for 13 years before they chose to separate during lockdown.

They never revealed the cause of their break-up, but maintained it was a mutual and ‘amicable’ choice to go their separate ways. Alan revealed in 2022 how his divorce remained very ‘raw’ and his television programme and tour provided healing following the split.

Discussing his Regional Trinket tour on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, Alan remarked: “This show had to be rescheduled because of Covid; I just really didn’t want to cancel. My marriage broke down in lockdown. No, it’s fine – people head tilt when you’ve got bad news.”

The couple had married in 2018, with Adele conducting the ceremony. In 2021, Paul underwent treatment and entered rehabilitation after he publicly revealed his alcohol struggle by sharing a photograph of his black eye after a drinking session. He posted the now-removed Instagram image in August 2021 and prompted worry from his followers.

Paul had initially claimed the injury resulted from a disagreement with Alan. Paul subsequently apologised and explained how he sustained the black eye, admitting he had struck himself in the face whilst on a drinking spree.

At the time, Alan issued a statement: “When I arrived back home from Wales, Paul was covered in scratches and bruises from a drinking binge. We are now working together to get the help he needs to get better which is our number one priority right now.”

In early 2023, Alan opened up about his relationship with his former partner following their separation. “I don’t hate him. It takes up too much energy. We have all got to move on,” he said.

He acknowledged that he struggled with dating applications. “People ask if I am doing the apps, but I find it quite triggering,” he revealed, adding with humour: “I used to work at a singles bar in Northampton and I was like the goat who gets lowered in that crate in Jurassic Park.”

Then, in November 2023, the comedian revealed he had discovered love once more when he went ‘Instagram official’ with celebrity hairstylist Callum Heslop, who at the time was 27.

Callum has operated as a celebrity hairstylist for eight years, having collaborated closely with Amanda Holden, Helen Flanagan and Charlotte Dawson, and runs his own salon in Knutsford, Cheshire.

The couple, who had a 20-year age difference, allegedly embarked on a romantic holiday together in the US and were reportedly invited to Adele’s luxurious home in LA for Thanksgiving dinner. An insider told The Sun that Alan and Callum’s relationship began as a friendship before blossoming into romance.

“They have a really nice friendship and that has been the base for a relationship to blossom,” the source revealed. “He meets celebs through his job, so isn’t fazed. It takes a lot to introduce a partner to someone as famous as Adele but she couldn’t have been friendlier,” they added.

However, it is reported that Alan and Callum parted ways in January of last year. Earlier this year, he revealed he was ready to find love again.

Speaking to us earlier this year, he said: “I’m dating, I’m dipping my toe in, but that’s all I’m doing. I won’t do the apps, it has to be a friend of a friend. I’m just going on a few dates but they’re unsuccessful. I mean, I’m never in the country, but I’m ready now for someone… anyone.”

Now, he’s looking for a “chunky rugby player to throw him around” or a “chubby chaser” who had suffered from “low self-esteem.” Speaking at the press night of Opening Night at the Gielgud Theatre in London, Alan said: “I look for a rugby boy. I like them big, and chunky – chunky everywhere. If you catch what I’m saying.

Strictly’s George Clarke rushed for treatment after injuring back in training

Strictly Come Dancing’s George Clarke has revealed that he was battling a secret injury during Saturday’s show despite placing third on the leaderboard with his Paso Doble

The stars of Strictly Come Dancing are facing the second dance off this week – and the stress of the competition is already running high.

George Clarke has revealed that he was rushed to a physiotherapist last week after injuring his back in rehearsals last week. The influencer opened up about hurting his back on his podcast, The Useless Hotline Podcast – inviting on Strictly professional dance partner Alexis Warr for the first time.

The 25-year-old wowed the judges and the public with his impressive Paso Doble on Saturday, receiving a score of 30. He landed in third place on the leaderboard for weeks one and two, closely following Lewis Cope and Amber Davies who took second and first place respectively.

Despite storming the scoreboard, George revealed on his podcast that he was given less time to rehearse for his Paso Doble after needing physio for a back injury he sustained in rehearsal.

“I didn’t want it to be a thing on the night,” he said. “That’s why they asked in the VT, they were like, ‘Do you want to mention your back?’ and I said, ‘I don’t want it to be a thing.'”

He added: “I had a pinched nerve all week in my back. I had acupuncture half way through the week. I went to physio four times.” As for how he did it, George admitted that the injury happened after a handstand went wrong.

“I was like, ‘I’ll throw in a handstand or something.’ I like doing a handstand, if I keep my legs together I’d probably be better at it but it doesn’t feel fun when you do it that way,” he said.

“I did that and got up and went, ‘My back hurts a little bit actually. Ah s**t, I’ve got a little twinge in there somehow. I’ll try to carry on.'”

Will said that after they took a lunch break, he was unable to return to training and “went straight to physio” instead. “I went to physio the next morning as well. Danced for a bit, sat down,” he said.

Meanwhile, Alexis said that it’s the ‘most frustrated’ she had seen George, with him adding: “Monday is when they throw a load of information at you and then it’s Terrible Tuesday because you’re trying to figure it out.” Not only was he behind with training, but George hade to keep halting rehearsal because of his back pain.

“It would get to the point where I’m getting it then I had to sit down because my back was hurting,” he said.

Earlier this week, George revealed what taking part in the competition really means to him, writing on Instagram: “Probably [a] good time to continue being serious and thank everyone for their unbelievable support so far.

“Whether you’re old or new (here, not just in general) I really appreciate the comments, the messages and obviously the votes!”
