Celebrity Traitors star Joe Marler has shared a glimpse into life on the hit BBC show as he admitted one thing made him “incredibly uncomfortable”.
Former England rugby union international Marler swapped his boots for a Scottish castle as he joined other celebrities including Kate Garraway, Jonathan Ross and Clare Balding.
Despite representing his country almost 100 times during his long career, he revealed he felt “uncomfortable” explaining to his fellow Celebrity Traitors cast mates who he was.
He told Jamie Laing’s Great Company podcast: “I felt incredibly uncomfortable doing it.”
Revealing what had caused his discomfort, he explained how his career spent in the rugby world had led him to think that “rugby’s massive” and “everyone knows about rugby”, but revealed that the reality was somewhat different when he first entered the BBC show.
When he first began on the show, he said, “You go into a normal world and then they go, Oh, who are you then?” What do you do?
He continued, “I used to play rugby,” and people said, “Oh, right, League or Union or what kind of thing?”
The final episode of the series is scheduled to air on Thursday, November 6, with the show reportedly wrapping up filming in May.
Marler expressed his satisfaction at being able to participate in the program. He remarked, “One of the best experiences of my life.” When I had the chance to go on it, I was like, f*** yeah, like please do, for a fan of the show to watch it. And it was unapologetically good.
The competition is getting hotter every night as the fifth episode of the new series airs tonight. Joe and his fellow cast members are reportedly given strict instructions not to reveal anything until the show’s conclusion, but Joe and his other cast members are still keeping a close eye on how it will turn out.
In addition to making 95 appearances for England during his career, Joe also made the 2019 World Cup final. The rugby player won two Premiership titles and spent the entirety of his professional career at Harlequins. He made over 280 appearances for the Harlequins.
He has since written his autobiography Loose Head, Confessions of an (un)professional rugby player, and hosted Joe Marler’s Things People Do, his own podcast.

Reality TV star Holly Hagan-Blyth has shared photos of her younger sister Darci after tragically announcing her death. The Geordie Shore cast member issued a statement on social media on Tuesday, confirming the sad news.
She claimed that Darci, her sister, “passed away peacefully holding my hand, surrounded by family andamp; her best friends,” at the age of 19. Since then, Holly has shared a number of photos of her half-sister, including those that Darci’s friends have left behind.
As Darci attended what appeared to be a glam event, Holly quickly placed her hand on her shoulder. As the sisters grinned at the camera, Darci wore a black and gold sequin gown.

Louis Tomlinson recently hit out at Logan Paul as he reflected on his controversial podcast with Liam Payne. Speaking recently, Louis said: “I f***ing forever despise [Logan Paul], horrible, horrible little f***er.”
The former One Direction star sat down with the controversial US influencer in June 2022 for what was perhaps his most unexpected interview. During the podcast episode, Liam spoke about a string of incidents, including a time when a former bandmate allegedly threw him against a wall.
One Direction fans were quick to criticize Paul for posting the video online, which led to outrage over the podcast interview. Liam also opened up about his split from singer Cheryl Tweedy, the mother of his son, and discussed his relationship and fights with his bandmates in the episode.
However, Liam claimed that he “didn’t articulate” himself as well as he could during the conversation shortly after the podcast aired. He claimed on social media that he “wouldn’t normally comment” on issues. He stated, “Guys, I wouldn’t normally comment on this stuff, but it’s difficult to let it slide when it’s your family.”
They mentioned a specific incident involving Zayn, which I responded to, but looking back, I may have not properly articulated my feelings. “So I said to him, ‘If you don’t remove those hands, there’s a high likelihood you’ll never use them again”. Whilst discussing his feud with Justin Bieber, he disclosed that he’d told the Baby singer: “I’ve done all the things that you’ve done and I’ve never been caught for any of them.”

Morrisons has shared a crucial alert about one of its products, amid concerns it may pose a ‘possible health risk’ to certain people. Shoppers are now advised to return affected batches to their nearest stores, where they will receive a full refund.
The supermarket’s product recall specifically concerns its own-brand ‘Savers Salad Cream’ with batch codes of ‘L25 122’. Morrisons is concerned these items ‘may contain egg and mustard’, neither of which is mentioned on the label.
The retailer stated in a customer notice that “Morrisons is recalling this product with the date code Best Before End AUG/2026, Batch L25 122, because it may contain eggs and mustard that haven’t been declared on the label. Anyone who is allergic to egg or mustard may be at risk of getting sick as a result.
No other products are impacted by this problem, according to the alert. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause, and we promise to keep our customers abreast of our commitment to the highest standards of safety and product quality.
As highlighted in the notice, this recall affects batches of Savers Salad Cream with best-before dates of August 2026. Further information from the Government’s Food Standards Agency (FSA) also adds that affected bottles are 420g in size.
The FSA stated in an explanation of product recalls that “sometimes there will be a problem with a food product that means it should not be sold. Then it could be “retracted” (taken off the shelves) or “recalled” (when customers are asked to return the product).

In other news, M&S is also recalling a particular batch of ‘Milk Chocolate Honeycomb’ due to concerns it might contain peanuts, which are not listed on the label. Packs weighing 120g, displaying a lot number of ‘5242’ and best-before dates of May 12, 2026, are affected by this.
A notice from M&S reads: “Customer safety is of paramount importance to Marks & Spencer and we take all issues regarding the production of our foods extremely seriously. In the abundance of caution Marks & Spencer is recalling Milk Chocolate Honeycomb due to the possible presence of undeclared peanuts in a small number of packs.”
Avoid these products if you have any allergies to or intolerances to peanuts. Any M&, S location can return them for a full refund.
According to a notice from the FSA, “Marks &, Spencer is recalling the above product from customers, and it has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organizations, which will inform their members about the recall.”

Kathy Burke wrote her new autobiography because she was fearful that an AI version would be released filled with inaccuracies and lies.
The actor and comedian, releases her brilliant book A Mind Of My Own tomorrow charting her tough upbringing and life in theatre, TV and film.
Kathy continued, “I never thought I would write one, but I never thought I would.” She also explained how and why the book came about. I’ve actually written some kind of autobiographical material for television and other things, but I never thought I would write a memoir, but the threat of AI was looming.
That merely meant that some a**hole could simply enter a microphone and say, “Do me a biography of so and so,” before proceeding to do it and so, which terrified me a little bit. So I paused and proceeded, “I’ll stop being lazy.”
She continued, “Well, I’m going to enjoy this, because whenever I’ve done writing in the past, I’ve actually found it lonely. Writing is the only time I’ve ever felt lonely, which is why I don’t do it much.
“So I decided to do a few chapters to see if I liked it and liked it before signing any contracts. And I really enjoyed it.
I believe that it’s just being older, not writing dialogue, and just sort of reflecting on one’s own interests, which is one of my favorite pastimes!
Kathy wrote the book entirely on her iPhone, writing a few chapters a month and then sending to her publishers and meeting them for lunch to discuss it. After a few months of writing she realised she had a lot to say so the book only goes up until she hits 40 and steps away from acting full time.
She stated in a Q&A at the Adelphi Theatre, “I didn’t want to rush the last 25 years. Holly, Kathy’s publisher, said, We’ll take it up until when I decided to sort of officially give up acting. Stop being my first job, for example. So it increases significantly until I just turn 40, which is when it really increases. In a few years, there might be a second book.
“We’ll see how I feel,” he said, “We’ll see how this goes and if I can’t be arsed,” not true. “Not the next year, but maybe the following year.”
Her credits include appearances in critically acclaimed movies like Nil By Mouth and comedic TV shows like Absolutely Fabulous, Gimme Gimme, and Harry Enfield and Chums.
She also acknowledges that she eventually gave up acting entirely because she preferred to direct theater productions, but she still occasionally appears on screen, most recently in the Steve McQueen film Blitz, which debuted last year.
