Ellie Goulding shows off baby bump asking boyfriend, 28, ‘do I look pregnant?’

Ellie Goulding has showcased her huge baby bump just weeks after confirming that she and her 28-year-old boyfriend, Beau Minniear, are expecting their first child together

Ellie Goulding has given fans a glimpse at her huge baby bump. The singer, 38, revealed that she and her boyfriend, Beau Minniear, 28, were expecting their first child together earlier this month.

Stepping out at The Fashion Awards 2025, the Love Me Like You Do songstress opted for a sports bra-styled top and matching black trousers, which gave fans their first look at her blossoming bump. But until now, Ellie has remained quite quiet over her second pregnancy.

The singer has a son, Arthur, four, from her previous marriage to Caspar Jopling, whom she split from just last year. Giving fans a glimpse inside her lavish home, Ellie also revealed her growing bump as she rocked a striped shirt.

Going make-up free, Ellie was glowing as she cradled her bump. “Do I look pregnant?” she asked, before her boyfriend, Beau, was seen shaking his head, saying no.

Captioning her upload, which was shared with her 1.8 million followers on TikTok, Ellie said: “Phew. Didn’t think so x.” But many fans were left completely bewildered over Ellie’s pregnancy joy. “Elena Jane Goulding… this is how I found out?! CONGRATS,” said one.

A second added: “My girl is pregnant. I love this so bad.” “That’s how I found out that Ellie Goulding is pregnant,” exclaimed another. Meanwhile, a fourth fan asked: “How many chapters did I miss?” which was met with the response from another fan: “Only 2: divorce with her younger husband and getting a new younger boyfriend.”

Ellie and actor Beau were first romantically linked over the summer before they enjoyed a romantic trip to Italy. Shortly after this, they went public with their relationship and attended a boxing match between Daniel Dubois and Oleksandr Usyk.

A source close to the couple said: “Ellie and Beau are very much in love, he’s a real romantic, and they’re very sweet together. It’s really lovely to watch, she’s very happy.” Earlier this year, a source told The Sun: “Ellie is into Beau, and they have a lot of shared interests like exercise and art. They’ve been having fun together, and they certainly make for an attractive couple.”

But while Ellie and Beau rarely step out in public together, they certainly haven’t shied away from sharing their affection for one another. He appeared in the rather steamy video for her song, Destiny. In the video, Ellie is seen straddling her man, whose face remains partially hidden.

In later scenes, she is seen taking pictures of his semi-naked body before straddling him again. In other scenes, Ellie ran her hands across Beau’s muscular physique. Reflecting on the song, she said: “Recording this was like a catharsis, it made me feel so much better – like the prize was me all along.

“Instead of putting my everything into these men, this song was my first feeling of straight-up escape and empowerment. When I heard the track I was in love with it. The idea of adding the choir and strings at the end was for it to become a triumphant moment of freedom like jumping off a cliff.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor shares 2022 email that ‘changed everything’ for her

Singer-songwriter Sophie Ellis-Bextor first burst onto the scene in the early noughties and enjoyed success with hit songs including Groovejet (If This Ain’t Love), Murder on the Dancefloor and more

Singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor has shared the email that “changed everything” for her and propelled her career to new heights. Sophie, 46, first stepped into the limelight in the early noughties, with hit songs including the 2001 smash, Murder on the Dancefloor.

The track re-entered the zeitgeist in a huge way after it was used in writer and director Emerald Fennell’s cultural phenomenon, Saltburn. The 2023 black comedy film stars Barry Keoghan as Oxford scholarship student Oliver Quick who struggles to fit in with his elite fellow students.

Infatuated with popular and affluent student Felix Catton, played by Jacob Elordi, Oliver ingratiates himself in his inner circle with tales about his parents’ mental health issues and substance abuse problems. After Oliver shares his father has died, Felix invites Oliver to spend the summer at his family’s sprawling estate, Saltburn.

At the film’s conclusion, after much scheming and death, Oliver is seen dancing naked through Saltburn while Ellis-Bextor’s hit Murder on the Dancefloor plays. The scene went viral across social media, with multiple people recreating versions of it themselves.

The singer-songwriter recently took part in a new trend taking over social media, whereby people share an encounter from the past that’s proved to change their lives in a positive or meaningful way.

In Sophie’s edited video, she began by sharing a screenshot of the email request which asked if her track could be used in the film.

Over the top of a montage of clips of people recreating the Murder on the Dancefloor scene, as well as reports on her song re-entering the charts and boasting impressive streaming records, Sophie added text which reads: “In 2022, you’re going to get an email asking to use your song in a film. It’s very important that you say yes.”

The email, which had the subject line “Saltburn (film)/Sophie Ellis-Bextor”, simply said: “Hi Sophie/Derek, hope you’re well. We’ve had a request in for an upcoming film. Please let us know if you’d like to approve.”

Sophie simply replied: “All good with me, thanks”.

In the caption, she penned: “The email from 2022 that changed everything.. thank you, Saltburn and the magic which continued into 2025. Another fun year with adventures a-plenty! Let’s see what 2026 holds… xxx”.

In the comments section on X, where Sophie shared the video, people were keen to share their thoughts.

One person said, in reference to Sophie’s popular “kitchen discos” she did throughout lockdown: “You deserve this for all the good you did for so many people during Covid. Thank you.”

Another said: “I think Saltburn folks should post a thank you for your talent and musical genius giving them some real quality on screen moments.

“Your music isn’t for one decade or generation. You fully deserve these flowers. Much like Lily Allen we need to acknowledge the British brilliance”.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘make redundancies’ after major unexpected change

It has been reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s charitable organisation Archewell Philanthropies, has let several staff go under a restructure

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s charity restructure has resulted in staff redundancies, it has been reported. It was revealed last week that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were renaming their Archewell Foundation as Archewell Philanthropies – and moving to a “fiscal sponsorship model”. Now it has been revealed that, among the restructuring, three staffers have been let go from their jobs.

Harry and Meghan set up the foundation, which has the mission statement “Show up, do good”, after stepping down from their royal duties and moving to Los Angeles in 2020. It was one of the first projects they set up after quitting their royal roles.

A statement said: “The move toward a fiscal sponsor operating model does mean that some staff redundancies are inevitable, particularly with junior admin roles.

“We will not be discussing these personnel details further, other than to say that we are honored to have worked with incredibly talented and caring people who dedicate themselves to helping others.” The Mirror has contacted Archewell Philanthropies for comment.

It was announced on Friday that the duke and duchess’s joint charity, the Archewell Foundation, will be renamed Archewell Philanthropies as it marks five years since it was founded. The charity this year has advocated for safer digital spaces and the responsible development of artificial intelligence (AI). It has also funded support for children affected by conflict in Gaza and Ukraine.

Archewell takes its name from “arche”, the ancient Greek word meaning “source of action”, and “well”, symbolising “a plentiful source or supply, a place we go to dig deep”.

A spokeswoman for Harry and Meghan said: “This next chapter allows Prince Harry and Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, to broaden their global philanthropic efforts as a family, with meaningful reach and maximum impact, grounded in the same values, partnerships, and their commitment to show up and do good.”

News of the new name came just hours before a photo of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex with their children was shared by Meghan alongside a “happy holidays” message.

Meghan posted a photo on her Instagram account on Friday showing the family of four on a small bridge surrounded by greenery, with her bending down to touch heads with Princess Lilibet and holding hands, while Prince Archie has his hands around Harry’s waist. The caption read: “Happy Holidays! From our family to yours.” The couple also posted a video on their website to mark the festive season.

On their website, they wrote: “On behalf of the office of Prince Harry and Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and Archewell, we wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful new year.”

A video on the site included video clips of the couple during events this year, including giving speeches, dancing and hugging others during sections with the captions: Responding to Global Crisis; Supporting Women and Girls; Protecting Families Online and Show Up, Do Good.
