Catcher error helps Phillies win game in a way not seen since 1971

The Philadelphia Phillies won a game not seen in the major leagues since 1971 when the bases were loaded thanks to a catcher interference ruling.

Red Sox catcher Carlos Narvaez was charged with blocking the swing of Phillies batter Edmundo Sosa, sending him to first base and “walking in” a walk-off run as the baserunners all advanced when the scores were tied at 0-0 in the tenth inning.
