TV star Cat Deeley welcomed in the New Year with an upbeat carousel of photographs of video of the ‘fun’ she had in 2025, which was also the year her 12-year marriage to Patrick Kielty ended
TV presenter Cat Deeley has shared a montage of her year’s highlights, confessing that despite her split from husband Patrick Kielty, she’s had ‘a lot of fun’. The 49-year-old This Morning host kicked off the New Year with a social post showing some of her favourite moments of 2025, some of which included a few other famous faces.
Cat and Patrick, 54, announced the end of their 12-year marriage in a joint statement last summer, but vowed to “continue to be united as loving parents” to their two sons. Rumours about a possible split emerged when Cat was absent from the funeral of Patricks’ mother, held in Ireland in March.

But as she entered 2026 as a newly-single woman, Cat appeared to be feeling grateful for some the lighter moments she has experienced over the last 12 months, including some girly nights out, summer bike rides, and time on set with her This Morning co-host Ben Shephard.
In one shot, Cat and Ben were testing out red light therapy masks, and in another they enjoyed a giggle with McFly stars Harry Judd and Danny Jones, who won I’m A Celebrity in 2024.
In another scene, she was enjoying a glass of rosé with her mum Janet while on holiday, enjoying the warmer climes in a frilly black swimsuit.
The “Goodbye 2025” montage also included a clip of the This Morning crew, including Alison Hammond, on stage at last summer’s NTAs, and another of a beaming Cat with Modern Family actor Jesse Tyler.
Her children – sons Milo and James – featured too, with Cat reliving the moment she got rapper and author MC GRammar to address and sign a copy of his Rap Kid book to the youngsters. James’s 7th birthday cake – a tribute to Minecraft – was also included, as was what appeared to be a trip to a farm to enjoy some adorable piglets.
She also captioned the post: “A lot of fun, A big bunch of friends and a whole lot more to come in 2026! #happynewyears”.
Cat and Patrick, who first met in 2002 when they worked together on the BBC show Fame Academy, are believed to have divorced under-the-radar around a year ago, but only made it public last summer.
Their full statement read: “We have taken the decision to end our marriage and are now separated. There is no other party involved.
“We will continue to be united as loving parents to our children and would therefore kindly ask for our family privacy to be respected. There will be no further comment.”
