Matty Cash, a defender for Aston Villa, has agreed to a new three-and-a-half-year contract until 2029.
The Poland international made 193 appearances in claret and blue before moving to Villa from Nottingham Forest in 2020.
With a goal and two goals in a 1-0 win over Manchester City on Sunday, Cash’s previous contract was set to expire in 2027.
Cash stated on Sunday, “I’m playing with a lot of confidence.”
“To be honest, I’ve always had a good shot, but I’ve never really shown it in games.”
Every time I get the ball on the edge of the box, I feel confident and confident that I will hit the target frequently this season.
The 28-year-old, whose mother is Polish, is Villa’s and Poland’s first choice right-back.
