Promoter Eddie Hearn predicts a reconstitution of Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr. on September 20.

At the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in April, Eubank defeated Benn unanimously.

On September 20th, the British pair were scheduled to rekindle their rivalry in London.

Hearn, a promoter of Benn, claimed that Eubank has yet to consent to the fight and “does not want it.”

The influential Saudi power broker and Riyadh Season are no longer at odds with one another, according to Ring Magazine, which hosted the first fight and is owned by Turki Alalshikh.

Benn claimed in a statement to Ring Magazine that “this rematch fell apart without me.”

Hearn stated to IFL TV, “We’ve told Eubank that’s the date.” Additionally, the fight doesn’t work if you don’t participate on that date.

No stadiums are available, the statement read. You guys are making money commercially. I don’t believe there will be a fight if Eubank isn’t ready to take the fight on September 20. That’s the decision of [Alalshikh], not mine.

“Eubank probably can’t be bothered to enter camp again.” He won’t ever fight, in my opinion.

He seems to me to be just not interested in it.

Despite having no title to contend with, the April fight took place 35 years after their legendary fathers, Chris Eubank Sr. and Nigel Benn, first fought.

Weight cut and rehydration clauses predominated in the build-up to the bout, which took place at the middleweight weight limit of 160lbs.

Hearn previously stated to BBC Sport that Benn would not support rematching weight restrictions.

Eubank, 35, allegedly misplaced weight, which cost him a fine of £35,000, but he was then considered over the weight limit for the fight’s 10lb rehydration period the following day.

Due to dehydration, he spent two days in the hospital.

The British Boxing Board of Control fined Eubank £10, 000 this month for “misuse of social media” in the lead-up to the fight.
