Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s wedding was attended by DJ Fat Tony, who claimed his famous mother Victoria “stole” the day.
DJ Fat Tony has revealed what really happened during Brooklyn Beckham’s now infamous wedding dance with his mum Victoria. This week, Brooklyn sent social media into a spin with a series of bombshell claims about his mum ‘hijacking’ his first dance with bride Nicola and dancing ‘inappropriately’ on him.
The allegations were made as part of a six-post attack on Victoria and David after their eldest child threatened to speak to them after they “hummed him and controlled his entire life.” Brooklyn claimed in his rant that his parents had destroyed his 2022 wedding until last year when they had to renew their vows to preserve the memories.
Only the wedding tape, which contained the footage from the much-discussed first dance, was required for guests at the first Beckham-Peltz nuptials, where they were instructed to bring their phones. Up until now, fans had been left guessing what actually happened during the mother-son moment.
DJ Fat Tony appeared on This Morning today to reveal how the tense moment – that he confirmed left bride Nicola in floods of tears – really unfolded.
He compared the dancing to Victoria’s and Spice Girls’, “There was no slut dropping, there was no PVC catsuit, there was no.” Why did I say it was inappropriate because it was appropriate, and why did I also say that because of the timing?
“Basically, what happened was that Marc Anthony was performing on stage and then called Brooklyn in.” Everyone anticipates that Nicola will perform the first dance, but Marc asks the most attractive woman to join him and says, “Victoria, come to the stage.”
Brooklyn is devastated at that point because he believed he was going to dance with his wife for the first time. Nicole leaves the room, eyes wide open. Put your hands on your mother’s hips, advises Marc! Everyone in the room was awkward because it was a latin thing.
The DJ claimed that the conversation continued throughout the texting day because the toe-curling moment was all that was available.
He said, “I DJed the brunch, which was the awkward part of it all because that was the time when everything was discussed the night before.
When asked what people were saying the morning of the wedding, Tony responded, “Well, when the bride and groom leave their wedding devastated, word trickles out… and not many people attended the brunch, but everyone was talking about how sad that part of it was. However, Victoria was thrust into that circumstance, and I believe too much has been written into it as a result of the addition of too many stories. The bigger issue is only a small portion of the larger issue.
Host Alison Hammond, said, “As a mother, the whole thing saddens me, and I would love to put it out there to Brooklyn and to Victoria, I would love to bring you all together and I would love to mediate. I’m here if they want to do that Tony.”
When Brooklyn was questioned why he didn’t just accept the statement from his parents, Tony responded, “He’s done that.” He felt compelled to stop taking this anymore and to take a step back, which was his method of finding peace after that. He will decide that.
He continued, “The saddest thing is that this is the statement that everyone has taken out of it, and that kind of whitewashed everything else that happened.” When someone lives their life out on social media, it takes a lot for them to do so. He wanted to change the narrative. He should be grateful that he has the family name because of how often he has been called “Nepo Baby.” But, you’re aware, that’s what he was born into. The fact that parents have lost their child and a son has lost his parents, in my opinion, is what we are all missing.
Fat Tony appeared on the daytime show after poking fun at the situation by posting a meme parodying Victoria’s alleged dancing. Sharing a video of Motherland’s Amanda (Lucy Punch) doing a cringeworthy dance at a PTA meeting, he compared her moves to Victoria’s, writing: “Actual video footage, it’s true I was there!”
Meanwhile, his partner, Stavros Agapiou, also confirmed Brooklyn’s version of events. Writing on a video of influencer Jack Remmington speaking about the situation, wedding guest Stavros said in a now-deleted tweet: “I was there, and she did; he’s telling the truth.” He later followed it up with: “Good on him for finally speaking out!”
Fat Tony has been a close friend of the Beckhams for many years, and even DJed Brooklyn’s 21st. Lifting the lid on his chaotic 2022 wedding, Brooklyn said this week: “Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead,” he wrote. “She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life. We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.”
After Tony’s post, it was reported that Victoria and David responded by unfollowing the DJ on Instagram despite their long friendship.
Yesterday, Brooklyn broke cover with wife Nicola for the first time since sharing the statement. The couple were all smiles as they walked their dog on Malibu beach in California. A36600952 friend told The Mirror: “He would do it all again in a heartbeat but now he just wants to live his life with the woman he loves.”
They spent nearly 30 minutes walking down the beach, laughing and smiling with one of their rescue dogs.
