After Brooklyn Beckham’s bombshell claims that he was ‘controlled’ by his parents, his ex girlfriend tells The Mirror that she believes Victoria played a key role in how their relationship unfolded. Brooklyn’s nuclear statement against his parents has sent shockwaves in the celebrity world, and now, his ex girlfriend Tallia Storm has seemingly thrown fuel on the fire.
Tallia, 27, claims that Victoria had an ‘involved interest in their relationship and that her team sent paparazzi to photograph them together in an exclusive conversation with The Mirror. She dated Brooklyn in 2014 when they were both teenagers.

Singer Tallia recalls Brooklyn inviting her to one of her shows in Hanover Square in the capital. She asserts that Victoria organized a security team to check the venue during the day. I assumed it wasn’t that deep, but alas, okay! There were about 20 paparazzi outside the venue when my sister and I arrived at the concert that night while I was sound-checking.
Tallia questioned her mother, Tessa Hartmann CBE, a brand and PR expert, about their relationship after doing some digging. It was a wild experience for me, Tallia continues. I was terrified because I didn’t want Brooklyn to believe I had called the papas! We started asking around, and my mother told us that Victoria’s team had called the paps, of course, and we were informed.
On Monday evening Brooklyn, 26, spoke out against his parents, David and Victoria Beckham claiming they have ‘controlled’ him for ‘most’ of his life. In a statement shared on Instagram he said: “Unfortunately my parents and their team have continued to go to the press…I’ve received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders.”
He continued, “My mother has repeatedly invited women from my past into our lives in ways that were obviously meant to make us both uncomfortable.”
Tallia and Brooklyn were together for 18 months in 2014, and she recalls how the singer called Brooklyn her “first love.” I was the first girl to ever be photographed with Brooklyn when we were young and hanging out.
She believes that Victoria initially warmed to her because she was connected to Brooklyn’s godfather, Elton John. In 2012, Elton was so impressed with the aspiring singer that he invited a then 13-year-old Tallia to open his concert in Falkirk, Scotland after listening to a CD of her singing.
Tallia claims that she wasn’t “Tallia Storm” at the time; rather, she was a girl who Elton John discovered, and Victoria thought she had something special about me. Although we were just kids, we had a mutual crush on each other while I was still in school.
I met Victoria at their home in London, and David would drop him off at my house, which was just lovely. I remember when it was so unbelievable. Although it’s common for them, I remember thinking, “This is crazy. He must be aware that this is a standard practice for them, but I was immediately taken aback.
Tallia claims Brooklyn told her he was not permitted to attend a star-studded charity event with her on Victoria’s request, and the relationship ended abruptly. Tallia claims that Eva Longoria, Victoria’s long-time friend, was supposed to attend the Global Gift Gala with Brooklyn.
But things didn’t quite work out as planned. She says, “I was meant to sit next to Brooklyn, we were all super excited – and then he messaged me on the night itself, when I was already inside, saying, my mum won’t let me come, I’m sorry. And that was that. Obviously, Victoria didn’t like me or whatever.” During their time together, Tallia says the Brooklyn she knew wasn’t ‘remotely bothered’ about fame. “He was just not that guy. He was just cool. We were just kids having fun. Victoria calling the press to my gig just made it something it didn’t need to be.”
