Brooklyn Beckham has spent Christmas with wife Nicola Peltz’s family in the US and is thought to not be on speaking terms with his own family after brother Cruz claimed he blocked them all on Instagram
Brooklyn Beckham has revealed he spent Christmas with a very famous star. It comes after a reported fallout with his father, Sir David Beckham, and allegedly blocking his entire family on Instagram.
The 26-year-old aspiring chef is spending the holiday season in the US with his wife Nicola Peltz’s family, amid rumours of strained relations with his own kin.
Just last week, his brother Cruz alleged that Brooklyn had blocked all his family members on Instagram, including parents David and Lady Victoria, and even his younger sister Harper, aged 14. Now, Brooklyn has given fans a peek into his Christmas Day activities in America, which included a game of tennis with American professional player Reilly Opelka and Nicola’s brother, Bradley.
Enjoying some light physical activity under the Los Angeles sun, Brooklyn was spotted trying his hand at tennis alongside Reilly. A brief video of the match was posted on both Bradley and Brooklyn’s Instagram Stories.
This comes after Brooklyn declared his wife Nicola as his ‘everything’ in a heartfelt Instagram post on Christmas Eve, despite having reportedly blocked his family on the platform. He shared a photo of himself and the 30-year-old heiress holding hands while celebrating the festive season with her billionaire parents in Miami, Florida.
He captioned the post: ‘My Everything’, seemingly another bold statement, shortly after apparently taking a subtle dig at his estranged family. Earlier this week, Brooklyn raised eyebrows with the video, shared just days after his brother Cruz spoke out about Brooklyn blocking the entire family on Instagram.
In a clip shared on his Cloud23 hot sauce TikTok account, Brooklyn is seen sauntering through a city with Lady Gaga’s Telephone serving as the soundtrack.
Interestingly, he chose the lyric ‘sorry I cannot hear you I’m kinda busy’ to accompany the video, emphasising the line in bold text. He then segued into promoting his hot sauce, leaving followers to ponder over the timing and meaning of the post.
Back in Blighty, dad David and brothers Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20, appeared jolly as they sported Santa hats in preparation for Christmas.
Despite the ongoing family squabble, the football legend and his wife Victoria, 51, have maintained a brave front and carried on with the holiday celebrations with their other children. After David was spotted chopping down this year’s Christmas tree, the Beckhams spent Christmas Eve together, with Cruz even whipping up cocktails.
David was seen in high spirits as he and his sons wore Santa hats and embraced each other. The proud father was clearly beaming as Romeo rested his arm on his shoulder while Cruz savoured a sip of his cocktail concoction.
Brooklyn’s younger brother Cruz dismissed rumours that his parents had unfollowed their son in an Instagram Story post last Saturday, instead asserting that he, David and Victoria had been ‘blocked’ by Brooklyn. “My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I,” Cruz penned.
This comes after reports circulated that Brooklyn has rebuffed his family’s attempts at reconciliation ahead of the holiday season, choosing instead to spend Christmas with Nicola and her family in Miami, Florida.
An insider revealed to The Daily Mail: “Brooklyn and Nicola decided they would be spending this Christmas with her family. Her parents are really excited to have them.”
Earlier this week, Brooklyn and Nicola touched down in Miami, where the hot sauce entrepreneur was spotted posing for a photo with her brother, Bradley, in the backyard of their stunning Palm Beach mansion.
