Brooklyn Beckham has reportedly returned to London and was just five minutes away from his famous father as he set his sights on a huge six-figure deal. The 26-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham has hit the headlines for his very public family fallout.
By ignoring football legend David’s 50th birthday celebrations earlier this month, he shocked fans and his own family. Brooklyn and wife Nicola allegedly made a rift in the Beckham clan while the parties were taking place, and they even flew to London from their Los Angeles residence.
Nicola has found herself at the centre of the accusations, with some sources claiming she stirred up drama. However, the whole saga appeared to have been very painful for those involved as they try to carry out their jobs.
On Monday, David headed to the Chelsea Flower Show where he rubbed shoulders with King Charles and Queen Camilla. It came just days after reports Brooklyn and Nicola had met with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at an intimate dinner in California.
Brooklyn was reportedly in Brooklyn as David reportedly focused on his work with the royals. Brooklyn was reportedly located just five minutes away in a bizarre coincidence.
The aspiring chef has reportedly signed a mega new campaign with designer brand Moncler alongside Nicola. “Brooklyn and David couldn’t have been closer in distance yesterday, but their relationship is still strained,” a source told the Sun.
“Neither of them would have known how close they were,” they said. Given how close the pair once were, everything is very challenging.
Brooklyn is alleged to have flown into London to film it and signed a six-figure contract to work for the Italian company. Onlookers were surprised to see him back in the UK after being photographed in the street.
Brooklyn and their relationship is “huge deal,” but the father and son were “five minutes by car” away, which has hampered the success.
As the shoot got underway, Victoria shared a public message to Brooklyn. Taking to Instagram, the former Spice Girl posted a family photo that showed her four children alongside her parents Tony Adams and Jackie Adams.
In the photo, the couple were spotted posing beside their children, Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13, as she captioned the post with her three sons.
In the caption, Victoria wrote, “We both love you all so much,” along with a heart emoji, in the middle of the chaos.
A source previously told the Mirror: “Brooklyn not turning up was a real blow to David. Brooklyn was close with his dad growing up, but he is married now. His wife Nicola is older and confident in her own right, and so there is distance between Brooklyn and his parents.”
Because of the family’s use of social media, the source continued, “It has become a problem and cannot be kept private.” There is a very obvious rift that David and Victoria would be happy to heal because things have gotten worse in recent months.
