After his brother Cruz claimed that he and his family had been blocked on Instagram, Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz’s tensions with his parents David and Victoria have reached a boiling point.

The relationship between Brooklyn Beckham and his family have heightened with Victoria and David no longer following him or his wife Nicola on Instagram.

Last night, The Mail reported that they removed Brooklyn from their following – a claim refuted by their younger son Cruz. The 20-year-old posted a story claiming that he, his mum and dad had all been blocked. “NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I,” Cruz wrote. Nicola, 30, also does not follow David and Victoria, and they don’t appear on her list of followers.

It follows months of discontent, with Brooklyn notably missing his dad’s birthday party in May. The feud is thought to have kicked off during the lead-up to Brooklyn’s 2022 nuptials with American heiress and actress Nicola Peltz. Reports suggested that wedding planning caused a stir, and there were claims that the Peltz clan were miffed at the Beckhams for not chipping in financially to support the couple’s lavish California lifestyle.

The Beckhams’ argument grew in June when insiders claimed Nicola’s parents “threw money at anything and everything” including the two Los Angeles homes where Nicola and Brooklyn reside. In contrast, David and Victoria have always wanted to instill in their children the value of money, with Brooklyn even working as a barista when he was just 15 years old.

However, pals have defended the financial support the couple receive from Nicola’s billionaire parents, refuting assertions that she is “spoilt”. Nicola, a friend of Brooklyn and Nicola, stated that she is grateful for having lived a fortunate life. She has also worked for over 20 years, and she currently writes, directs, and produces her own projects. They continued, “Her parents are proud to support their children, but the notion that doing so would not hold up.”

Despite traveling to London specifically for the occasion, the tensions reached fever pitch after Brooklyn and Nicola were unable to attend David’s birthday bash in May. According to the couple, they had planned to boycott the event after learning that his ex-boyfriend, who is dating his brother Romeo, would be there. On Father’s Day, Brooke also snubbed his father.

Brooklyn and Nicola were ordered to attend the main celebrations, according to US outlet TMZ, “so they were left devastated because they were simply won’t be around Romeo and his girlfriend, Kim Turnbull,” according to sources.

As they enjoyed a romantic getaway in France on Friday, Kim, 24, and Romeo, 23, shared a number of love-up snaps on Instagram.

The DJ and model previously described her struggles with being in the spotlight and battling rumors about her private life in an interview with The Sunday Times Style Magazine.

She stated, “It’s definitely tough, whatever it is, when people criticize you for saying things that don’t necessarily make sense and don’t align with your character and values.

You want to turn around and respond to every comment without giving a damn, but you just can’t at the end.

Cruz, Brooklyn’s younger sibling, previously appeared to poke fun at his older brother, saying that the “truth would unfold.” The 21-year-old took to Instagram to show his support for his parents by posting sharp lyrics from The Beatles’ 1969 song with the working title “The End to his Stories.”

The Beckhams’ ongoing rift with Brooklyn was quickly made known by followers. They remarked, “Love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, and I love you, and that the love you receive is ultimately equal to the love you utter.”

The truth will emerge, he wrote in the post’s accompanying sentence.

It is thought that Brooklyn’s desire to live in a distant future from his parents and their base in London and the Cotswolds contributed to his decision to purchase a new property in LA and establish roots in the American city.

This claim was refuted, however, by an insider. They told the Daily Mail that “this house has no relationship to family dynamics.” This is the same property David and Victoria own in the US.

Brooklyn spent a portion of his childhood in Los Angeles while his father worked for the LA Galaxy, and both Nicola and Brooklyn’s careers were based there. He spent a number of years in LA before moving to the city and beginning to form relationships there. He has always felt at home in LA.
